She's really nice. The only bad thing is she gives you worksheets and tells you to focus and study worksheets. When it comes to the exam it has NOTHING to do with the worksheet. Better off just reading the entire chapters yourself. Lectures are long and not interesting. She wants you to understand EVERYTHING in the entire book. Needs more homework.

I currently have an A in her class, but I studied hard for it. I like that she posts her more indepth powerpoints on Canvas; She sometimes goes through the lecture in rapid fire mode. Read the Clinical Studies in the text, she likes to use them on her tests and quizzes. I'm taking her next semester for 223! Like any class; study, study, study.

nice but that doesnt help careerwise. She is so disorganized when it comes to lecture it makes me cringe. jumping from one thing to another. theres no real teaching except for bits to be fair. I asked for help once and got a worksheet. I was hoping she would really go in depth with the one on one time. she's a good person just needs a new strategy

Her test are extremely hard. Even when I study and feel knowledgeable in what we went over in lecture I still do poorly on her test. A lot of her questions are application. She says it's the responsibility of the student to learn the material! She provides more than enough material through canvas to succeed! Power points, voice recordings, chapter outlines, Jeopardy games, and study guides! I think people who didn't use all of these are the ones that failed. Exams have a FEW application questions. She's great!

She doesn't teach because she does flip lectures! You go home do the lecture yourself, plus do the studying/readings on top of that. The only purpose of class if for her to check if you did the notes, "review" in groups, & take a quiz at the end of class. Do not recommend unless you like that style of learning & are ready to WORK for that grade!

PROS: Lots of quizzes and exams as a source of points, very fair grading scale (87% is an A-), and lots of supplemental studying materials. CONS: I taught myself everything all semester, assigns multiple chapters a week which can be time consuming and difficult to retain all the information. If you're a learn on your own person, go for it.

Although the test reviews are helpful, theres really no in depth teaching. it would be useful if some professors explain concepts bc its their job especially for a class like Bio.

This professor does not lecture, this "reverse classroom" she has going on is just another word for her not wanting to lecture, using recycled lectures from 2+ years ago. The recorded lectures were extremely dull and didn't help one bit on exams. A lot of self teaching and outside resources will be needed if you take this professor. Good luck.

This course is tough but Prof Windsor provides all the material you need for the tests. She uses a "flipped classroom" method where she records her lectures, and you work on it outside of class.
