Take this class for your online science and society credit - Every 2 weeks you post a discussion board and then read 2 postings of other ppl and rate them The second week you do a google map posting on a country you choose, you have to write a short reflection and a quiz. Extra credit each module. Easy if you aren't lazy - drops lowest module score

Took the class online and got an A. Everything is straightforward and workload requires hardly any reading at all. Make sure to have your book out for the quizzes because everything is related to the pictures and text and is very easy to navigate through if you have a pulse. It was just as easy as MUS354.

Best online professor I have had at ASU. Fun and easy material; the others have accurately described the workload. Very prompt and helpful when responding to emails. Sometimes she's out of town so can't respond, but she lets you know ahead of time. Sets up in-person office hours. I wish she would do the +/- system because it would be an easy A+.

This class had the biggest workload of any 100 level course I've taken. If you're not a Geography lover, I would avoid it. Some test questions are confusing if you're not from Phoenix. Final exam is comprehensive. Course material was rife with liberal bias-- Ronald Reagan Capitalism referred to as "Neoliberal Counter-Revolution." Ha Ha!

Amazing Teacher. Honestly, if you need an easy and informative upper division GPH credit, this is one of the easiest ways to do it. No textbooks. Extra Credit every week, and you can retake a quiz once if you don't like your score. All units are unlocked so you can work ahead (I finished 4 weeks early). I studied minimally and received an A easy.

The easiest class I have ever taken, the weekly assignments take probably 1.5 hours to complete. Unlimited attempts on quizzes. The written part of the weekly assignment is 1 sentence answers. Got a 100% in this class. 10/10 recommend. one of each type of assignment is dropped if you do well in the other ones you don't have to do the last module.

Prof Saffell is the nicest professor I have ever had and her class is so easy. It's mostly lecture, but she makes it interesting, especially if you already are interested in phys. geo. She is really passionate about the topic and asking questions is easy! Exams are also pretty straightforward if you show up to class, though you don't have to.

This class only consisted of six quizzes and a final, all of which can be found in the lectures. The questions were a little tough, but word-for-word if you study the lectures. The final is all questions pulled from the quizzes. Extremely easy A. The only minor nuisance if anything was having to wait for the final to unlock further in the semester.

Super sweet woman and very passionate about weather, geography, and science. She will send lots of emails and provides opportunities to get involved outside of class with the field. Very lecture heavy, but there's a note taking guide. Just make sure you write down everything she says. She's very amicable and the lectures can be interesting.

This class was super easy and a great GPA booster. My only minor complaint is that it seems like the TA is overly particular on grading. I would get docked points for minor grammar issues or my answers wouldn't be detailed enough but we are only supposed to answer with 1-2 sentences. But even with that I was still able to get an A.

Saffell is 100% your best choice for GPH 111. She is a concise, knowledgeable, and wholesome professor. She does easy quizzes weekly, and if you attend her lectures and take notes the quizzes will be a breeze. For this class, she is by far your best option. Saffell has been teaching this class for years and her slides are well-done.

It's a very easy class. Quizzes are not monitored, and essay quizzes almost always get a full grade. One of each of the three types of assignments is dropped ( one quiz, one short news report, and one essay quiz a week). I finished the whole course in about 3-4 days and I didn't do the last section because I had a 100.

This class always felt long since it was only once a week (Tuesday 6:00-8:45), but Dr. Saffell usually did her best to get done early. Know that what she posts online does not match her lectures, and you'll struggle with the quizzes if you miss class. Overall, this is an easy class if you just need to get our gen ed science out of the way.

TA would dock points for the dumbest reason. There is no reason someone should get docked points in a easy science class over minor grammar issues. I think it was rare I would receive a 100 on an assignment because of that. Take the class but hope you get a better TA.
