He is a very down to earth. makes it fun and easy to lern. The best professor I've had between turgers university and mdcc. the class is easy becaue he is one of the few professors that knows how to get your attentinon and make it interesting.

good teaching techniques, very easy to understang. he might scream a little but that his way of fun teaching wich re sults with the whole class laughing and learning in a fun enviroment. kinda wierd that he winks at you whenever you make eye contact.

if u want to get out of writing prep u must take this guy. i wanted to take him for english 1 but he was only teaching prep the semester I was taking english. but he's a really great teach. very clear on everything. and i can't remember taking any test. there's so much work in the lab that he doesn't try to overload u with his own work.

He is the best proffesor you could find, not only a teacher but also a friend, I never thought that I was actually going to enjoy so much going to class to write an essay or learn about something,if you want to have a goog memory of college pick this proffesor, you will be blessed.

the professor in all of dade.i had him for 0020 0030 and 1101 and he didnt change his teaching style.u learn a lot and want to come to class everyday because u know it is worth ur time.he will explain as much as is needed just for u to understand.funny,down to earth,easy class..dont take any other teacher except him.trust,u wnt regret

Prof. Valdes is probably one of the most nicest and coolest english professors at dade. he class is easy. am taking him for the summer term and i have an A. very easy, do your journals, and oh..you will read A Streetcar Named Desire. but overall, you'll enjoy his class. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

This teacher is AMAZING! Honestly, I chose him because of his ratings & it's the best choice I made. I want him for ENC1101 & 1102... His Midterm isn't difficult, of course you need to study just like every other class. But he has taught me a lot this semester. I'm glad he was my first english teacher in college.

He's the best English Prof at MDC. I used to hate writing Essay and using grammar and now I love it; however, If your grade in English is a "Z" you'll pass the class with an "A". His class is SOOOO EASYYYYYY Words can't describes this Prof. I wanted to take his class for the Summer (ENC 1101) but unfortunately hes not teaching ENC 1101 until Fall

I took Dr. Valdes when I was in Miami Dade College a couple of years ago for College prep course and I was fortunate to take his class and I had always enjoyed going to his class because his lectures were interesting and class was fun. He was one of my personal favorite teachers that I had from Miami Dade College
