I'd definately recommend him. He's extremely fair, kind, generous and truely wants to help you get an A. He works with you to acchieve this. He never reads out of the book, but makes the class interesting by asking real life questions. I totally enjoyed this class!

He is a very nice and open minded prof. , if you are one of those who work well for the class content and still believe that the teacher's attitude is important for an A... then I higly reccomend him.

The coolest and most open minded professor to-date. Crystal clear expectations. Fun to listen to and fun to be in his class, even though it's a 3 hours class, it goes by quick. If you do well, he appreciates you and lets you skip things. Too bad I don't have to take any of his classes, I will miss him.

Keeps things interesting, likes to have fun during the class while being professional. Though you print out about 300 pages of notes, you'll find all you need in them. Textbooks is only needed for the termpaper. (3)100Q exams and tells you what each question is about!

I got a B+ in the class, however it was not easy. If you are determined and dedicated to get an A in his class, go for it. He makes the class fun by telling us jokes which is why I loved the class.

Great professor ! If you are determined, you will get an A. He reviews before tests and gives an easy term paper. However, I did slack off a bit that is why I got a B. I highly recommend this class. He is very helpful and interesting!

Funny, helpful professor. His class can be boring sometimes but he makes his students get into it. He gives a THOROUGH review of all his exams, and his term paper is pretty easy too. He's one of those professors who want to see their students do well.

I thought Sociology would be a hard subject. Professor Yarru made it very so simple for me. I learn so much and at the same time having fun. Professor Yarru is real funny and nice. I never had a professor that was as organized as Dr. Yarru. His lectures in class were well detailed as well as his note on blackboard. At the beginning of the course he told us ,students , that he was available 24/7 if we had any question. I thought that was impossible, but he proved me wrong. He was always there when I needed him for questions.

Great professor, took him this semester as an online asynchronous course. He explains everything you need to do to succeed. Will give you more time if you need it and just overall one of my easiest A's hands down. It is writing intensive, There are four 10 page essays and one presentation to pass. He gives all assignments due on 1st day of class.

Dr. Yarru's course is an easy A, but not because the material is easy as it's actually the opposite. Rather, it's because he makes the requirements crystal clear, gives entertaining lectures that don't bore you out, and is willing to help you should you have any issues.

I took his class on Winter January 2 through January 23. He give you the opportunity to give everything on the last day on January 23 is Exam 1: 20%, Exam 2: 20%, Exam 3: 40% and the Term paper: 20% of the entirely course. There 5 questions you need to choose and write at least 2 pages for each question but if you write more you can get more point.

Highly recommend this professor!!!!
