This class really needs a new teacher

Sorry, Im not the nerd that sits infront of the class. I have better things to do than try to decode what she is saying! She hates midgets too! Dropping bio was my smartest move ever

Terrible...needs to learn how to speak english. Example she says INSHULIN for Insulin and CALSHIUM and stuff like that...She was fired from Pitt main and she is 3 years past retirement.

I'd rather jump into a tank filled with Electric eels, portuguese men-of-war, Sharks, u name it.

Ang needs to learn English. The wording on her tests are confusing, as are her lectures. I learned more by skipping class and reading the book on my own time. She won't help you after class either.

Take someone else, anyone. Get a puppet to teach the class. Can't be any worse

She might be the worst teacher/Professor i have ever had in my whole life. This lady is rediculous.I seriously think she is the devil trapped in a 4'2 womans body that teaches biology. And why does most of the words that come out of her mouth end in SHUM&

She's terrible. Dont listen to those who say she's not bad. She doesnt teach well at all. Shes very unclear and misorganized. Needs to learn how to be more organized and present material more clearly. Tests are VERY HARD even tho the format is easy.

Do yourself a favor and go to Barnes and Noble and get a biology cliffs note book because you aren't going to learn anything sitting in her class. her tests have questions that repeat with different answers. consider yourself lucky if you get a B in this class. she needs to work on her speach, the accent is hard to get past.

Wow. All I can say is Wow. I *WAS* a bio major. No longer. It's all over for me. I have now changed to chemistry. Bio ruined my life.

Dr. Ang's idea of 'teaching' was to hand out around 30 pages of sloppy notes to the class. Then she basically just read them to us. Out of the first 3 exams there was 1 A. On the first and third exam everyone scored less than 75%. It probably would have been just as effective if this was an online class, or preferably if someone else taught it.

I got a B in Ang's class, but I really didn't learn much. I wouldn't recommend taking her unless there is no one else to take, which was the situation for me. As of now UPG only has 2 upper level human bio profs. Try to avoid taking her if you can.

the worst teacher i ever had. and the most resistant to help when you dont understant. hard to understand her accent and is hard to follow along with in class. i changed schools after having her. we all agreed she shouldnt be teaching.

She's mean and rude. She teaches from notes when she went to school and they are like 40 year old notes. Things have changed since then. She will basically call you dumb to your face. And she's always right, the book's wrong.

I'm a straight A biology student and I DO STUDY! This instructor picks favorites and is by far the worst the university has to offer. She will only degrade you for asking questions. Maybe some of you lower level classmen have had some luck but those serious about biology good luck if your not her favorite!

WORST TEACHER EVER. AVOID HER AT ALL COSTS!!! When you ask a question she gives you a lot of attitude when she answers it. SHe does not use the book AT ALL and she thinks that she is ALWAYS right. Even if you study like crazy you will BARELY pass the tests if you even pass at all. She has no compassion for teaching and should not be at upg!

Her tests are timed and she does not give enough time. All you can hear during her tests is the kitched timer ticking away. Also, after the exam is over you start learning the new material. DO NOT TAKE ANG!

This woman is Horrible! She can't teach at all and on top of it she is very incoherent! She can not teach and what she does try to teach it does not make any sense because she runs in circles and expects you to know everything before the class starts. Stay away from this teacher at all costs!

TERRIBLE TEACHER! DO NOT TAKE HER! I never missed a class..EVER..and i still failed. I even went for her to get help..STILL NO HELP. Other professors at UPG will advise you NOT TO TAKE HER!

Worst teacher i've ever had. i failed the class with an F and i attended every single class. she times her tests n lectures after them so u are being rushed. she is very hard to understand and dont bother asking her a question because she doesnt know how to answer it either. take dr. paz

SHE WAS THE WORST PROF I HAVE EVER HAD!HER TESTS ARE 100 QUESTIONS IN 45 MINUTES.THERE ARE ONLY 3 TESTS IN THE WHOLE CLASS.YOU FAIL ONE YOU FAIL THE CLASS.AND THE FINAL WAS 200 QUESTIONS IN LIKE 2 HOURS.DURING CLASS SHE WAS KNOWN TO PUT HER OVERHEADS UPSIDEDOWN AND BACKWARDS.SHE DIDNT EVEN NOTICE SHE JUST KEPT ON TEACHING LIKE NOTHING WAS WRONG!

Mmmm.....Never even had this teacher and she sounds like a complete B!. So ya I'm not gonna take her and nobody else should. And that accent, WOW! Aight, I'm out.

She lost my first test and just assumed I had missed the test despite signing the attendance sheet and have several witnesses of my presence. She's forgotten what it means to be a teacher, plain and simple.

Simply the worst professor I've ever had. She has no interest in her classes and would not help during office hours. Highest grade in BIO 1 was a 57%, she did not curve. I retook this class with Dr. Paz and got an A. Avoid this teacher at all costs!!

Horrible professor. I am finishing up my semester with her, and I believe there is only three students out of the 76 that are passing right now. She doesn't curve, and you can't even understand her English. Do Not Take Her.

If youre in her class, get out if you can't just drop, its not worth hurting your GPA

She is a very difficult teacher. She doesn't explain anything well and goes off on random tangents. If you want to receive a good grade in bio 1 and learn anything at all DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! (or this teacher)
