Very good teacher. Takes the time to go over any difficulties one may encounter. Knows many variations fop a solution on many formulae. Very punctual.

Easy class; he gives take home tests/ quizzes. Especially during the summer his class is easier and he wont keep you the entire 2 hours; 45 minutes MAX!!

only 6 weeks into the '05 spring semester but he is EXCELLENT-gives take home quizzes and lets you correct the ones you missed for half credit-does't keep you the whole 50min-i plan to take him for my intermediate and college algebra

This is the greatest teacher ever! I took Elementary Algrebra with two other teachers and fail the class...I took his class sum 1 - A, inter sum 2- A and colleg alge fall- B. TAKE HIM!

He was the best math teacher I ever had I loved his class. If I had to do it all over again I would take him over again. I have to take College Algebra next semester so I am willing to take him on Tues and Thurs., because those are the only days he teach it. But he's just that good.

Must attend to keep up; give take home tests that follow the study guide he goes over; bonus opportunity; Highly recommend; take breaks and leave early most days; only use book for minimal homework (mostly gives take home sheets); definitely the best; answers and helps out if needed; A+++++

I had Rathfon Summer I for Int Algebra. He moves fast and attendence is a must if you want to keep up. Normally don't do well in math, but he explains well with a great sense of humor. Do work and come to class, you will do fine. Ended surprisingly with an A. Go Rathfon!! You rock! I will be looking for his name in the Fall for College Algebra.

He was the greatest intermediate math teacher I ever had. He taught very well and explained tips and tricks for many problems. I would definately reccommend this teacher!

Had for Intermediate Algebra and fell in love. I jumped from Pre-Alg to Intermediate and was terrified but Mr. Rathfon's teaching style makes sense. He gives examples until everyone gets it before moving on. I've never had a math instructor like him before. I will definately try and get his class next semester!

I am currently taking elem. algebra and I was very worried, but he's made it easy and a little enjoyable. I will be taking him for Inter. Algebra. I recommend him to anyone and everyone.

Mr.Rathfon, A delightful teacher. He does not instruct he teaches. I would like to thank him for the wonderful job he's doing and elect him Math teacher of the Year. He deserves some form of award for what he does. He teachers on all levels,which is hard to do when your classroom consist of different people on different levels. Excellent Teacher!

Mr. Rathfon is awesome!! I'm terrible in math, and because of him, I have had all As in his classes, and I came out of his class understanding the material. We never use books. He's brilliant. He comes up with examples in his head, and shows you the easiest way to understand what he's teaching. I wouldn't take anyone else but him!!

Took Mr. Rathfon for Intermediate Albegra Summer 1. Use to HATE math but now understand it and love it. He explains everthing to where YOU understand it. Do not buy a book. He teaches from his head. He is Brilliant! Super Smart and very Nice! He will teach you and you will learn! I reccomend him to everyone who asks...Take Rathfon!

He is one of the best teachers I have ever had. He explains everything so well. It doesn't matter if your a math wiz or a person that has a strong dislike of math he will guide you into a very high grade. Take him every time you can.

Mr Rathfon is an awesome teacher! Very nice, doesn't make you feel stupid for asking questions. He doesn't use the textbook at all, just mathlab online. His tests are easy and he gives study guides for all tests. He emails videos on how to do the work which are helpful. He responds quickly to emails and grades exams quick. I loved having him!!

Mr. Rathfon is the very best Math Professor. He is very passionate about teaching and makes every effort to help each student excel. He is easy to understand, breaks the material down for you and in my opinion should be nominated for "The Best Teacher In Arkansas"!!!!!!!!!!If you have to take algebra, you should get him. Everything that you read about is true. He is the best instructor you can get. He gives out study guides for test, sends you email video's,and you can see him on his you tube video's. Take him and you will not be sorry.He cares and will help you get a good grade.

One of the best teachers I will ever have. I struggled with algerbra back in high school but this guy made it so easy that I laugh at how hard I made it for myself. I reccomend this teacher to anyone who thinks they have a problem with math.

Make Rathfon your first choice! Attendance is mandatory if you want you attendance grade to be an a. He explains everything very well for College Algebra. He also cracks jokes and is always in high spirits. He takes the time to post youtube videos of him teaching practice problems that are on Mylabs plus. Tests are similar to the study guide.

OMG! Awesome instructor! My biggest fear in returning to school at age 50 was having to take Algebra. Mr. Rathfon makes this class easy to pass if you show up and keep your homework caught up. He has a passion for teaching Algebra. I wish I could have him for every single class I have to take!

Mr. Rathfon is one of the best teachers Ive ever had. His lectures are very clear and simple and if you do the work you will pass, as easy as that. He goes out of his way to help with extra zoom sessions and he posts youtube videos. He gives bonus points on tests! Just show up and interact and he will be glad to help! Math is my weakest subject, but with Mr. Rathfon he made it so fun! He helped me reach advance mathematics, he will change your life. I owe my success to him.

There is no way to put into words what a great math/algebra teacher Mr. Rathfon is. Before taking his class, I had forgotten everything about Algebra and even some basic math from high school, like simple decimals and fractions. His instruction is step by step and easy to understand.

I took Mr. Rathfon for College Algebra 1302 w/ Support. It was a webinar class and participation each class counted! Every class was recorded and emailed to the students afterwards; this made it easier to go back over and reference for homework assignments. Offered extra credit for each test (total of four). Homework assignments due weekly. EASY!

I was very nervous to take this class, but he has made it a breeze. He is an amazing teacher, and you can tell that he enjoys his job. He goes over every problem and example step by step with you and communicates very well. He is also very responsive when emailing. I've never left a review before but i felt a need to this time. 10/10 recommend!
