I think the fires in San Diego changed this woman's life or God has spoken to her... she is an amazing professor and I learned so much considering its a religion class and I'm proud to say I have retained it, everyone take this class if you want to learn!

The entire calss is lecture but her lectures are very clear and concise. This woman knows her stuff! Her tests are easy if you go over your notes. There is one speech you have to give but it's only for a few minutes and she assigns topics. Great class

The class was very interesting and she's a fantastic prof. She knows what she's talking about and makes it easy for you to understand. Very clear and helpful and understanding. I'd like to take a class from her again!

Very good professor, but a very hard course.

Very nice lady. She is very helpful but she is VERY HARD. You are expected to read nearly a whole chapter before each class in the text book, not including the reading from the bible. Tests are very difficult.

I love this lady, she is so nice. She helps you a lot if you come into her office hours and e-mail her.

Easy class. Test covers the notes exactly. She tells you pretty much word for word what will be on the tests. Her lectures are also very interesting.

She is a smart lady. She lectures the whole class, and she sure does know her stuff! Tests are pretty hard, have to study hardcore for them. Overall good though

Great proff. She's one of my favorite teachers here at USD. The course is extremely difficult and there's a lot of info to know on exams. But if you put in the effort, read, take good notes, and study them, you will be fine! She does a good job at teaching the hard material, highly reccommend her!

I really enjoyed both classes I've taken with her. I always feel like I learn a lot. She gets boring sometimes, but is a very fair grader. If you have some Christian background it will help you a lot! We had 10 easy 2 page papers, midterm, & final. She'll tell you exactly what will be on the tests.

Very great at explaining the material and in fact would go on for hours doing a great job at it. Only problem is she expects you to hang on to her "every word" which is impossible. She takes attendance and expects you to know alot of reading material be4 every class or u dont get participation

Such an awesome proffessor!She's amazing at what she does.Wants her students to learn the challenging material she teaches.I love her,such a nice lady, by far one of my favorites here at USD!Tests are DIFFICULT,but response papers are easy. HIGHLY recommend but be prepared to study your butt off!

Dr. C is great, I've taken 2 of her courses at USD and have gotten A's. She is so amazing as is her teaching style.I feel like I have learned so much in her courses. They were not easy & you really have to put in some time to learn and memorize the material. She is my favorite and one of the best @ USD!

I LOVE Dr. C! She is amazing! She seems intimidating in class, but she's always willing to answer questions and help out during office hours! She really is a nice, sweet lady, don't let her knowledge in the field scare you. I've learned so much with her and for sure recommend her! Lots of facts to memorize, LOTS, but study and you'll do fine!

She's a nice lady, but the material is extremely tough. The format of her exams aren't too bad, multiple choice, short answers, TF and a couple long answers. she is an extremely HARD grader on exams. pretty hard class, if you can take something else, don't take this class

Not a bad class. Three tests including the final that need some studying but they are straight off the study guides and 1 five minute long in-class presentation. Just make sure you have the reading done before going to class because she will grill you on it, and dont think she wont call on you... i've been called on almost every class.

i love this class-- she's a little intimidating at first, but it's not bad at all. she's really helpful and tells you exactly what you need to know for the exams. it's definitely good to do the reading before class though. overall probably the best professor i've had here-- take her for biblical studies!!

A lot of students don't like her because they aren't interested in the subject and she actually makes you participate and learn her subject but she is actually a great teacher. She loves her subject and really cares that her students learn and understand. is helpfull in office hrs. A lot of memorization-def. don't miss class! Tests=straighforward

Great teacher. If you come to class, take concise notes, and study them, you will do well on her test. Lectures are what the test is based on, so take very clear notes.

Tests and quizzes based on notes, show up to class take decent notes and you should do fine.

Great religion course to take! Dr. Constantinou is very straightforward and her tests are based on her lectures (so you don't have to read the text). She is one of the few helpful theology professors at USD. Study hard and you'll do great!

you have to go to class every day, tests are straight from the lecture. take VERY good notes. 2 exams, 2 quizzes, and a final. no homework. you don't need to read the bible or the textbook trust me

Great Professor! Very knowledgable person, and you can learn a lot from her. Very fair about grading, either you know it or you don't. She's good abotu staying in contact if you have questions. A very history based class, I've had no religion before and was able to follow along the entire time. Great professor!

I strongly recommend taking her Intro to Biblical Studies class. Constantinou's class isn't hard at all and it's very straight forward. She tells you exactly what you need to know for tests and quizes.Do whatever you can to take her class.Although it has been boring at times, I have enjoyed learning in her class and would definitely take her again.

She is simply amazing. I thought it was just me but after reading everyone comments, I know I am not alone. If you take good notes (I taped mine) and answer the questions on the study guide you will be fine.

I have taken Dr. Constantinou for THRS 116, 353 & 354. She is an awesome professor, who teaches with passion. Her classes are straightforward. I learned a lot from Dr. Constantinou. However, I did not enjoy her class at all. She regularly talks down to the students and becomes personally offended when you have a question. Over half the class was not able to finish the final in 2 hours! If you are more interested in learning than getting good grades, this is a good class for you.

She teaches the truth and wont give you a bunch of liberal bull. But she gave me a C in the class after I had an A before the final. The final is worth almost half your overall grade and is an overwhelming amount of info. If you dont do well on the final you wont do well in the class.

pretty good professor. going to class is important as the tests and quizzes are directly from notes. grade based off of tests and quizzes only and she gives you a pretty accurate study guide. lots of information though and hard to get an A

She is passionate about her subject. She asks questions in class but will not take points away if you get the answer wrong. Tests are not too bad but YOU NEED TO STUDY HARD TO GET AN A! Most people think that this class is more interesting than they expected like i did, its more of a history course. there is not a lot of work. She is a good teacher

The most straightforward teacher at USD. You don't even have to read the Bible or the textbook in this class AT ALL to get an A. Make sure you go to every class because she gives you straight lecture and that will be exactly what is on the test. Your entire grade is 2 quizzes and 3 exams and then the final. It seems bad, but totally worth it.

I have also taken 116 with her. People who complain about taking notes and attending classes need to stop. Obviously this is college, and attending each class to LEARN is obvi a given. This prof is amazing and is SO FAIR with exams. TAKE HER FOR ALL THEOLOGY REQS.

I LOVE THIS lady. she is so nice if you get to know her. She cares a lot for you and really takes time to EXPLAIN something to you. TAKE HER. she is the best prof there is.... no DOUBT! (ive also taken 116 with her... she is amazing).

She is a REALLY PASSIONATE lady. Her class is extremely straight forward but you MUST attend class. Everything you take notes on (take REALLY good notes) is on the test. All you have to do to do well in the class is memorize your notes that you take in class. She is intimidating but actually extremely nice and she cares about teaching students.

Go to class and write down all the notes and you'll pass. Not the easiest class but she is extremely straight forward and tells you everything that will be on the test. For a religion course i highly recommend her.

Her exams aren't cumulative, which is nice. She is incredibly specific though and if you don't write her notes down word for word you won't study correctly. Also won't admit she's wrong in office hours. If you're an A student, you'll probably get a B+ in this class because she is so nitpicky. Not recommended exactly.

Constantinou is very clear on expectations, directly tells you what is on tests and quizzes, and gives very helpful study guides. You don't need to read the book (Bible) because she gives very good lectures, so take good notes.

Take her! Whatever interest in/knowledge of theology you have before the class, she presents the material very clearly, and the quizzes/tests are directly on her notes. Best of all, absolutely nothing is cumulative! She can be kind of dramatic/theatrical, but after a couple of weeks you'll know that she's not really mean, just quirky.

If you're looking for a class to knock out your theology core req., take her. She is crystal clear in her lecture but the notes are quite comprehensive. I'm catholic and took THRS 114 so this class was an easy A for me. the final had no essay or short answer.

Great professor. I had no previous education in Biblical Studies until this course. If you take her (which I recommend) GO TO CLASS and READ THE ASSIGNED HW. If you do this her class is pretty straight forward. She's very knowledgeable and helpful.

Great professor. She is very knowledgable on the subject matter. She is very clear and is willing to help her students understand the material. She doesn't offer extra credit, with that said, do the assigned readings and do her study guides and you should be fine. 3 exams, 2 quizzes and 1 Final (not cummilative). I highly recommend her class.

Awesome class! She is so passionate, and it's great to have the history of the early Church set straight. The class involves reading primary sources from mostly early Christians and writing a 4 page response to 9 out of 15 of them (sounds like a lot but it's not bad at all). Other than that a midterm and a final on all the lectures, so go to class!

Loved her! She is so passionate & I learned SO MUCH about the subject. Attendance mandatory. Take very good notes - as in, copy down everything she says. Her exams are completely based on them and you basically recite the info onto exams. Just study a little the night before! Homework is only reading, but you can get by without doing that.

I've had her twice now, she's awesome! Nice to have someone passionate about Christ. Only had to read some of Revelation and the book of John, had a mid-term and a final, 2 1-page straight-forward papers and a long paper analyzing ~10 verses from John. Expectations are clear and fair; you'll learn a lot. Fantastic class, especially for Christians.

She's a very intelligent professor who knows almost everything about the Bible, but she is tough. She grades somewhat harshly on the fill in the blank portion of exams and I basically had to memorize my notes. As long as you show up to every class and write down the entire lecture, memorize your notes, and rewrite them on the test, you'll do fine.

9 papers and 2 tests, which are a combination of multiple choice and in-class essay. You must be able to understand and articulate the beliefs of the early Christians you're studying, before offering a critique of your own. If you can do that, she's very open for you to agree or disagree. If you can't do that, don't bother.

Hard grader. I would know 100% of the information, but would get between a 69% and a 85%. She wants you to write EXACTLY what she says in class. If you don't show up, theres no way you can pass because the tests and quizzes are exactly on the notes. No extra credit or homework so the class is 100% just tests and quizzes. Unnecessary how hard it is.

Dr. Constantinou is an interesting lady. She literally never looks at the students, she always stares at the ceiling. Drinks two diet cokes through the course of class every morning. About the class, extremely straightforward. If you write down everything she says, you will be fine. Copying things off the board isnt good enough.

Dr. C will tell you EXACTLY what she wants on tests and essays, she'll never try and trick you. Lectures are interesting, but your hand cramps up from writing so much. Still a great teacher, and I highly recommend taking her class

Very specific and demanding class, but nothing bad.

Professor C is actually really great. I went to a Baptist school for elementary-middle school and an all girls Catholic high school. I'm Catholic and practicing. With all that being said, this class is very easy. It just takes a lot of memorization and you need to go to class. She's a kind souled woman who can be harsh but she means well. Love her!

Good class and prof if you write EVERYTHING down and copy it exactly on the tests. Go to class and don't piss her off, but I learned a lot in this class.

Okay, she is a little tough. But that's because she knows her stuff. Absolutely brilliant. This is the only Theology class at USD where I felt like I actually learned something. This is the best class I took at USD. Life changing.

Yes, this class is a lot of content, but she keeps the class interesting for the most part and it is very straightforward. She is so knowledgable and as long as you show up to class every day and take exact notes and memorize those exact notes, you will do perfectly fine in the class. I highly recommend taking this class, just be sure to study!!

Best professor I ever had while in college! I took 4 of her classes and had she taught more, I probably would have taken enough credits to minor in theology. The "lectures" are not boring because she teaches in a way that makes it seem like one giant storytelling session. If you're hand isn't cramping by the end of class, you'll miss information.

She's nice and funny. She lectures A LOT and make sure you write down what she puts on the board and what she says too. Her tests are all memorization but she gives study guides for everything including the final. No hw given and reading is assigned but you don't really have to read it. Her class is all just memorization so don't skip class

perfect professor for a 100 level class. very straightforward notes and study guides with handouts too. very good at explaining topics and answering questions. very knowledgable and kind but shes a little intimidating. easy to get an A if you take notes and fill out the study guides

Dr. Constantinou is a great professor and is very straightforward of what she expects, with study guides for each test. Your grade is based only on tests, so make sure to study and be prepared. Her class is lecture heavy and you have to take a lot of notes, but she is very clear.

Professor C is very straightforward. Lots of notes (your hand will cramp) but she's clear about what is on the exam and gives a clear study guide. I didn't do as great as I wanted to because she's a hard grader. She will take off points for misspelling certain words. I recommend if you want to learn about the Bible's history
