She is a bit hard to understand for the first week for class, but she helps soo much, she is one of those teachers that actually takes time to teach you math. Deff one of my fav teachers at Pbcc. I mean she speaks english right, just a small accent, if that dosent bother you, dont hessitate.

Dr Cox is a humorous and dedicated teacher. She presents the ideas very clearly. This is my 2nd semester with her in a subject not dear to my heart. She was able to explain the subject matter so well, I received an A. There has been some unkind comments made by unkind people that are not true.

Her english is a little hard to understand, but trying to decipher it is part of whats fun in her class. We were all shocked when she said "4 cubed" to us. shes funny too

i loved this teacher! this was my second attempt at this class and i thought i would fail again until she helped me. she really took the time to make sure we understood everything and listened to our suggestions on how to improve herself as a teacher. i am taking her for mat1033 and i highly recommend you do too

The nicest lady in the world!! If you ask for help she will give you more than you need. Wants everyone to succeed. A little funny but so nice. Dont be scared to go to her office and ask for help. Other than that its the usual... study, go to math lab, and get an A!

Dr.cox is the best math teacher ever. she is very helpful. Even though she has a accent you can easily understand her. she also is very funny. she even give you extra credit. i highly recommend her.

Eventhough Dr. Cox has a heavy Russian accent she is one of the best teachers I have had in a long time. I have dislexia and she helped me a lot through both her prep classes. I did not pass prep 2 with her do to some personal problems I wanted to take her again but she chose not to teach over the summer. Best teacher ever don't judge her 1st day.

Dr. Cox is very easy and a great teacher if you have a hard time with math she will help you. I thought that I would have a hard time understanding her but after two classes she was easy to understand since she is from Russia. Great teacher, great attitude, great class. If you have a hard time with math you should take her.

She is the most caring helpful math teacher ever. First time I have gotten A's in math and actually understood everything I was doing. She has grades for a few things..not just test grades like a lot of teachers and if you do the other work...not only will it help your grade but you will be overly prepared for the tests. She is the best.

ok at 1st her accent can be a bit overwhelming.. but shes not as bad as everyone says she is. She knows what shes teaching. She tries to make it as easy as possible. She's the ONLY math teacher that gives practice tests before the test which is IDENTICAL to the test.I got an A in her class, but studied from the practice tests.I would reccomend her.

even though she is hard to understand she is a great professor. do all the homework and practice test and you will pass her class. you dont have to be good in math because she is willing to help. she wants all her students to pass. i would recommond her to everyone! if your not good in math take her! easy A!

Dr. Cox is amazing! Even if u have a hard time on the tests theres extra credit and ways to get an awesome grade. As long as you show interest in her class and dont sleep she'll love you, but you dont even need to go to everyclass!! i got an A and i dont even know how TAKE HER!!!!

Another great semester with Dr Cox. She was very helpful and nice again. If you need a good grade and you are not a genius in MAT you should take her. She gives similar practice tests before each test and extra point for everything. Her English still needs improvement, but you will get use to it. She is great. Take her!!!

Took her express course in fall 2008. It's true that she does have a thick accent that takes some getting used to. If English isn't your first language or you aren't good in math, I'd recommend another teacher. The course did move very fast and sometimes the material was hard to understand due to the shortage of time, but still a good teacher.

I took the combo course. She has a very thick Russian accent but it's not as bad as people say; it's kinda entertaining, and she's hilarious so it makes class better. She's a great teacher even despite the fast pace. You just gotta do your hw and STUDY. Book use is minimal and go to class for your own benefit. Be involved and you'll definitely pass

Great teacher. Very accessible. Did the class online and she is on top of everything. Will answer anything. Tests are identical to the practice tests so unless you are lazy its an easy class to take.

she is a great Proffessor. It took her combo class MAT1033 and MAT1105 during the fall, and it was great. If you do the homework, you will easily pass the course.. i would take her class again :)

Dr. Cox is terrific. This was an online class. Her assignments are clear. Her tests go exactly like the pretests. She is incredible on her communication with email questions. If you put in the work you are guaranteed and easy A. Highly recommend.

Had her for an online class. any question i asked her just referred me to the syllabus, which is understandable. never ment but class is reasonable

SHE IS AWESOME!! Me & math are not friends especially cause i'm a procrastinator.I loved her because she went through EVERY step.Even with her accent she is really clear.Sure she is a little mean & scolds you for stuff but its well meant.Going to her assistant's tutoring helps tons for tests.Make sure you have your materials & no excuses! PS-STUDY!

Great teacher, always there to help and answer any questions. its college go to class and do the hw and youll pass. dont listen to these ignorant people about her accent. she is very nice and strict when she needs to be. She offers tutoring and occasionally gives out extra credit. the only way you will fail her class is if your lazy point blank!

I hate math! but I took Dr. Cox online and if you study and do your homework you will pass her class. Her assignment are clear. her test are easy. I actually failed this class because i didn't put time in it. But with a little more effort I would've passed. Anyways She is a GOOD teacher

She is my savior!!!! I took her online course, she is fabulous. She answers e-mails right away, and is very organized. She is always helpful. The tests are in the testing center..just do the work and make an effort and she sees that and works with you. I'm horrible at math and I finally passed on my 3rd time with her. She is great.

This is the first online class I have taken and she made it easy for me. She replied to emails pretty quick and was good at explaining things. This class is an easy A. A lot of tedious homework but it prepares you roe the tests and final. I will definitely recommend her and take her class again.

I LOVE Dr. COX!! SHe is a wonderful recher. She wants her studets to do well and she really cares. She is stern and you do need to do all the homework. If you try you will get an A or B. She is very fair and her tests are easier than the homework. But you have to totally understand the homework. SHE IS WONDERFUL!!!

Awesome teacher, I've had Dr. Cox for my 2 algebra courses and it was killer. I took her online my second course because her online and class course are legit the same: easy. So nice, always willing to help. she is from Russia so there is an English barrier but really wants you to succeed. I'd take her again if I could. You don't need a textbook.

Professor Cox is amazing! I failed 1033 3 times at Broward college and took her class online at PBCC and Passed it with a B! Her extra credit points are so helpful and the fact that she uses mymathlab made passing this class a breeze!

Dr. Cox is amazing. If math is not your thing, take her. I'm serious. All homework and quizzes are online and tests are too in the classroom. She is very clear. She can be a little strict but that's only because she wants you to learn

her class is really easy to pass just do your homework, take her quiz,and study your notes for her test.

I LOVE Dr. Cox. She's a very sweet woman & she's very helpful. Be careful she has a strong RUSSIAN accent, very strict but she only does it so you can learn, she goes over lessons twice and do a lot of notes. The mymathlab was a pain though because I would spend 20 minutes on a question and get it wrong by a number and re-do the whole thing.

Liberal Arts Math - I struggle in math but this class was laid out in a way that I fully understood and excelled. There isn't much work at all. You have to take tests at the testing center but that's ok. She gives extra credit if you take the test on the first few days it's open! Great, easy course and now I have a better understanding!

I'm terrible at math but this class was really nicely organized and I ended up with an A! Cox is a nice woman and often gives extra credit points for taking the tests early. Lots of opportunities to do well. My first positive math experience!

Professor Cox is simply amazing. She has a Russian accent which I personally think its very understandable. She's extremely passionate and very inspirational about math. She loves her students and does whatever she can to help them get the best grade. Prof. Cox makes math very easy and she answers every question you have !! RECOMMEND HER !!!

Professor Cox is an amazing professor. Though she have a really strong Russian accent, she explains the assignment very well and is out there for you to really pass her class. As a person who is not good at math, she has helped me and made it easier for me to comprehend the subject. Assignments are online, tests are in class.

Professor Cox is excellent. She often comes off as very strict but it gains respect from the students and its only because she cares. Do homework, at home quizzes, and notes and you'll be great.

She is THE BEST!She cares about her students doing well. Pay attention in class, put the phone down, she is trying to help you. She is always around. Im BAD at math and I got an A! I forgot 2 questions on the test she emailed me to come to her office and finish and spent 1 hour just talking. She hugged me on the last day. Take her! She cares!
