Just take notes and pay attention in the class. Don't even look at your book! He's all about his notes. I got an "A" in his class. I did find him really interesting!

Fun Fun teacher. Great personality, and makes you interested in the material. Tests were easy if you study the info he hand feeds you.

He's wonderful. All you need to do to pass is study what he tells you in the notes.

I like him! hes cool and hes down to earth not fake....and talks to us like we are people and not students. The partner tests are AWESOME!

WONDERFUL but his stats class is hard!!

Dr. Gonzalez is definitely the best psych teacher at LCCC.

I think he takes more from the book than the notes he gives...but the tests are easy, and the learning modules and simulations are easy ways to get points.

EXTREMELY tough course, but willing to help. My problem is he definately chose "favorites" in the class. The first course with him was good, but the second semester, he was not the same person. I don't know what happened. I respect him, but honestly many deserved and EARNED A's and didn't get them.

Really awesome teacher. He's kind of hard but if you want to learn something, take him!!

Dr. Gonzalez is great. I took his internet class and it was easy to follow. His directions are very easy to understand and you know exactly what is expected of you. I especially liked the book he chose to use with the psych trek CD. I would have liked to take him again but unfortunately he wasnt teaching 251 the first part of the semester.

Take psyh 251 online with him! This class was a breeze. Just follow the outline given. All test ?'s were from the outline only. No surprises! Very clear and efficient online course. All things good!

Has him for quantitative methods, I thought he was a great teacher. I'm looking forward to taking his research methods class this spring :) All you have to do is pay attention, and ask for help if you're confused, and you will get it.

Took course online summer and was only one month. CD used. Take good notes and follow the outline and it will be easy to get a good grade. Very knowledgeable. Seems to love what he does. Highly recommended. I received an A.

I took his Human Growth & Development class online. A TON of reading for his online class. Around 230 pages of reading- he gives you the outline of the tests but I did the outline for the first test and it ended up being 12 pages long and it didn't help me one bit. Maybe his class is different if you take it at LCCC but I do not recommend online!

I took the online class and I did not have any problems with Dr. Gonzalez. He answered my e-mails almost immediately. It's an easy class just as long as your read your book, watch the CDs, and do the assignments. The test questions are a little tricky but if you read carefully, you'll be fine. I enjoyed his class and I learned alot.

Before I signed up for his online class, I was nervous because of all the comments people made about him. But I'm telling you, this class was the easiest. Everything he assigned was made clear. The cd assignments are easy points, and if you do the learning objectives for each chapter, then you shouldn't have any problem getting an A!

Took his class online 8 week course. Wasn't bad! Final exam is not comprehensive. Overall easy course. Especially for an 8 week course. Would recommend taking him.

Wah, wah, wah.... his online classes are hard, big deal. The first thing he says in his syllabus is the fact that his 8 week courses are for advanced students. I loved that this class didn't baby me and, yes, I aced it because I put a lot of time into studying.

Loved that all assignments were available immediately. Allowed me to work ahead for weeks I knew I'd be busy with other classes. As long as you do the work and read the text you'll do fine!

Took Intro to Psych online in 5 weeks. Very quick paced, but in the end, I earned an A! Dr. Gonzalez is very clear in his instructions. Take excellent notes! Don't think that his online class is an easy A- you'll get the A, if you do the work! Not a lot of interaction between Dr. G & class, but overall he was a good prof. Would take him again.

Took a 5 week class over the summer. It was fast-paced, but all assignments and due dates were clearly defined. -Not easy, but that's okay with me. I felt like I got my money's worth out of this class.

Awesome Teacher!! I took his class as a 8 week online class.I would take all my courses thru him if I could. Everything was clearly defined and if clarification is needed he was more the eager to help. His lectures were anything but boring. He had fun and a sense of humor. Totally recommending him to all.

I took Dr. G's 8week online psych251 class. It IS wxtremely fast-paced but he has wverything clearly outlined and will promptly answers any question or concerns. Covering an entire textbook is alot in 8 wks but if you stay on pace you will do fine. 5-6 chapters per test-take good notes. the quizzes r easy if u watch n take notes from the vidoes

I took a 5 week course over the summer with him, and while it was VERY fast paced, everything was outlined well. As long as you do the reading and pay attention, you'll do fine.

Excellent professor. Lecture is more of a discussion. There are essay exams based off lecture, then multiple choice online based off the book,so be sure to read as well! Kept class interesting & students engaged. Be sure to attend class, you get points. There is a group presentation project. Easy class if you pay attention and study. Loved class!

Dr. G is an excellent professor: clear instructions and expectations, helpful and very thorough. I took several courses and alway came away happy with what I learned and my grades. He treats students with caring and respect, he is willing to put in as much effort as the student.

Would not recommend taking this class online. Video homework (from CD-ROM) was confusing.

Did not teach from textbook or require textbook at all but we were tested over textbook material. All tests&assignments online. CD/ROM hmwk was difficult sometimes.

Awesome teacher! Makes lectures interesting, but he also makes you work for the grade. The tests are tough but if you study you will do fine! He doesn't trick you. My favorite professor.

Professor Gonzalez was awesome! I took his Intro to Psych course online. His lectures were engaging and interesting and felt like you were in class. His expectations were clear and his assignments manageable. I really enjoyed being able to do the simulations talked about in lessons on the PsykTrek CD. I would love to take many of his courses!

His lectures are interesting that being said you have to take really good notes .. I'd suggest doing the class in person because there'd be more of a chance to compare notes with other class mates. I'd also suggest that if you are online you do NOT GET BEHIND ON LECTURES! It's hard to catch up once you get behind. Overall it was a great course.

If you're in his class/ if you've had him before, you know you have someone you can go to for resources. He has helped me even better than Dr. Kurtz (the advisor). Great asset to the college and students.

Took this class online. He is very passionate, and his lectures are informative. The assignments were easy to complete, and this class did not take up too much time every week. He is very knowledgeable about this subject and makes it interesting to learn about.

I took his 10-week online course and his recorded lectures were interesting and informational. The class was organized well on canvas and separated into 3 modules with an exam for each based on the lessons learned during that module. His discussion posts were easy as well.

Prof. Gonzalez is a real nice guy. He doesnt give out too many assignments, but for the online class, be prepared to typically have over two hours of lectures a week plus additional assignments. All in all though, it was a good class to take and he explained the material well and knew what he was talking about.

Dr. Gonzalez gave very detailed lectures, and I enjoyed his class.

I loved this class and professor so much! I always appreciate these lecture styles, especially because science professors always have the same energy.

His lectures were very interesting and he was very entertaining to listen to. The lectures for the week ranged from 2-3 hours so that was time consuming. As long as you take good notes exams should be easy. The one project we did was a simple survey and a few questions. Definitely recommend him if you like listening and taking notes!

Professor Gonzalez has so far been my favorite college professor. He is so funny and is so involved in his classes. His lectures provide so much information but to me they are very interesting. Each week there is a lot of work, I'm taking the class online so a lot of discussions, but very very interesting and entertaining.

Must watch prerecorded lectures to pass exams.

Prof. Gonzalez was an amazing professor. He makes learning about psychology easy. It is important to watch his lectures, as they make up the bulk of the coursework in the class. This class does take time, as there are about 3 hours of lectures to watch each week. But he is very clear with his expectations from the beginning of class.
