Professor Hargett is a great instructor. You will learn in her class how to write a reasearch paper. The class is not difficult and lots of great conversations. You can get an A easily all you have to do is follow her instructions and make sure you always check you grammer. GREAT TEACHER WILL HELP

She is probably the best professor for ENC1101 you could take. Very understnding and helpful, you have to wirte around 6 essays the normal amount. But shes very nice and her grading system works great as long as you do all her assigments.

She was great. She hates when you sit to close to her desk, and what students WANTS to be close up front. She was really clear on the whole MLA;APA thing. We only wrote 3 papers, and we had plenty of time to do them in. All in all, she was great!

If the entire class forgot to do an assignment, she extends the due date. She's a really nice person, a great professor. Though, if English was never your best subject, it may be a challenge.

Prof.E is the best, she was very caring and giving of her students. I took Prof. E. in 2012, then graduated in 2013. I attend Nova Southeastern University and wished that she was here at NSU; she's that good! I came out her class with an "A", but it wasn't easy. She does challenged you in the writing, but at the end, it was worthwhile. Take her!

Her class is pretty chill, we read different essays and have discussion during the next class. we write a few essays in total during the semester, shes very understanding for the reasons you miss a class if they are legit reasons. I would completely recommend her!

Funny, funny professor. Easy to get along with. Super funny. Doesn't believe in giving paper after paper. There's only 3 all year and she tells you exactly how she wants them done. First half the class is discussion based. You read these short little essays on debated topics and then talk about it in class. Rest of class is a research paper.

She is a wonderful professor. She explains everything clearly and is always there to help you. She loves questions, so don't be afraid to ask them. As for her papers, they're not that hard. She will tell you exactly what she wants so there's no excuse not to get an A.

i looked forward to her class every day. Her book consists of controversial topics in society that you debate in class. She gives 2 essays and a one page paper. You basically choose every topic you write about and she'll tell you exactly what to do and what not to do! she comes 10 minutes late to every class so dont worry about timing!

All you had to do was read the stories to participate in the class discussions which you didnt even have to do but you wanted to because they were so interesting

I took her class as a Dual Enrollment student and it was the best choice I ever made. Her class is mainly class discussions and she helps you step by step with the research paper. By far one of the best professors ever. If you attend class and show you care than it is impossible to fail. My mom was in the hospital for surgery and professor Hargett gave me extra time on my paper. My best professor to take during this pandemic. She is great at creating interactive discussions even though we are remote. It didn't feel much different than the face to face 1101 discussions from last year. She is very laid back. There are only a few assignments and they are either responses or quick essays. In a lot of them you pick your own topic. attendance isnt mandatory you can do assignments at home. There is extra credit even the final she helps you with. you can do it at home its just a research paper and you pick the topic im taking her again
