She is a wonderful teacher. very easy to understand, thougt she does have an accent. when i first meet her i did not think i could learn from her because of her slight accent, but now i barely notice it. If you struggle with math Professor Kallarackal is the instructor for you. She gives extra points, so you can't fail the class. She is always willing to help her students. Please don't try to cheat on the test! Do your homework, attend all the lectures, and you will pass the class.

Took her for Calculus I...very good teacher, just make sure to keep up with the homework it is helpful though not mandatory. she gives quizes which i thought were helpful so you know where you stand in knowing the material.

Probably one of the best math teachers i've ever had. She's very nice, helps you out if you really try. She has jokes to keep the class alive so early in the morning.She has these math meetings every Friday and if you go and sit there she will add a point to your AVERAGE each time you go! Great teacher. I took her for Business Cal this summer. She is very helpful, her reviews are exactly like the test, she also gives tons of extra credit. She does speak really fast though, if you just study her reviews, and go to class you will do just fine.

I had her for college algebra. It's hard to understand at times what she's trying to teach. But do your math lab and you should be able to understand what the heck is going on. She's super easy and does curve!

She was great; I took her online college algebra class and as long as you do the homework on time and do the review for the tests, it is impossible not to make an A. I didnt use the book, i used the video tutorial available through my math lab. I highly recommend for those who dont do well at self teaching. Wish she was teaching 1316 online.

For me, Pro. Eunice is not very hard. The way she teaches is EXACTLY the same in the text. But she gives the Reviews, all you need's doing the review as much as you can,you' ll pass her tests easily. Also,she gives students chances to increase scores by redoing wrong questions after she grades them, and you'll 5 extra points. Sum,Good Prof!Easy A!

I took this class online during the second summer session (5 wks), and the professor was awesome. If there was a question, she answered it quickly. The online instruction videos were very helpful and she allows you enough time to complete all of the homework. I made an 'A' in her class and she made it easy to do so.

i took this class online and she explain everyting well, i did not have any problem and if you work in the online assigment there is not anything to worry, she makes evrything easy, final review about all tests, just u have to follow her.

I took Calculus I with her during a 3 week summer mini session. She is a wonderful professor and genuinely wants her students to succeed and will help whenever necessary in order to make difficult material easier to understand. I would definitely recommend her to other students and wish I could take Calculus II with her as well.

Prof Kallarackal is a great instructor for hard classes. She is awesome!

She writes every steps on the whiteboard to help you understand and make up of her accent. Three exams and final, the lowest grade of the exam is replaced by the average grade of five quizzes. She tries to help you get a high grade. EASY A if you do the hw & reviews which are mostly likely the exams.

she's a good professor

She explains calculus very well, and she provides reviews for the tests. If you can complete the entire review with ease, which you should if you have been attending class, you will do fine on the tests. I wish I could take her for calculus III and engineering mathematics.

Simple course. She teaches the material very well. If you didn't pass, you probably didn't go to class everyday or didn't complete the online homework (which has an UNLIMITED number of attempts!!) Definitely recommend and am taking her for my next math course!

She's very nice. Her lectures are easy to understand. Something that I don't understand is because of my English skill. If you do enough homework, you can use it to replace one of the test. Moreover, you can drop 1 test which means if you do well in class, you don't need to take final exam.

Since it's online course, most of the assignments, exams luckily the final were online. This makes the class so much convienient for my busy schedule. Need to spend lots of time for note taking, do HW, and practice over & over to fimilarize with the problems in order to prepare for the exams. Most of the exams problem are from the reviews

CALCULUS REVIEW for non-MATH majors do take If you're doing engineering take her. She will make you understand calculus and help you get ready for the next one. PS. she does a lot of extra just ask. Test are easier than the study guide

She is one of the best calculus instructor at HCC. She explain everything in detail. Her class was not easy but if you put in the work you will receive a good grade. Took her in the 5-week summer term. there were 3 test, 5 quizzes, and online HW. If you average an A before the final you will be exempt from taking it.

She has so much knowledge, you will start loving the subject! Yes, it was hard to wake up at 7 and go to the class but I participated a lot and learned too. I was not able to do good in the first two exams (Don't know why) but I didn't care, at least i was gaining knowledge. Did great in Exam 3 and final though

I had Trig with her. it's a pretty straight forward course. everything in on MyMathLab and predefined and pre-programmed. make sure be ahead of your schedule and do the optional quizzes before the exam to be ready. overall great professor.

Mrs Kallarackal made calculus seem easy. I went into her class very skeptical because it was calc , but she quickly put my fears to rest. She's a great calc teacher, she really knows her stuff and tries very hard for her students to understand too. I took her from last semester, I did not met the requirement to take the Calculus 1, so that's why I chose this class. She did not teach you anything, all the homework was from Mymathlab, you have to pay for it. You must study by yourself to pass the test. If you are bad at Math, I don't recommend to take her. If you are good at Math, then easy A.

If you want to learn Math, take her class. She tries to explain the lecture to help you understand easily by using 2 3 example for each content

Calculus 2 introduces us to new conecpts. quite different from other math class. If you have good foundation in Calculus 1 , you will do well in any Calculus 2 class. She is a good prof. Teaches really good and practises many problems. Her tests are really easy as she put up easy questions. You can do well in this class if you study as she teaches.

I got a seat in her class the last day before the class started and I am so glad I got her. She is good in math and teaches well. Her tests are easy if u study and understand the concept. Calculus 2 is hard, but if u pit your effort, it is so easy with her. She never blows your mind in tests and quizes with hard questions

just study as she teaches and follow her instuctions. you will do good if you put effort to practise the problems she teaches in class. her exams are easy and the finals too. she tries her best to give extra credits in everything. put in a little effort and u can get an A very easily. dont look further for any professor, take her if there is a seat

Do her reviews before tests. it wont be the same questions but similar pattern. her tests are easier than her reviews. If you can do the review good u will score high for the tests for sure. she drops one quiz. you need to attend all the exams.

one quick tip- make sure you start to work on your final review as you finish each test as the final test is comprehensive. If you solve problems for the final review as you finish each test -it will be easy at the end. her quizzes are questions from the reviews as well. so practise the review as u study- for quiz, tests and finals.

Cal 2 is not a easy class, however, Ms. Kallarackal always try her best to cover each chapter thoroughly. Practice the exam review as many times as you can, if you can do the reviews, then you can easily do the tests.

Took her for 2412, 2413, 2414 and got an A in all, i had to work very very hard but its not an easy subject so its as to be expected, 3-4 tests replaces lowest with the final, 6 quizzes and drops the lowest, best math teacher by far of the 4 ive taken at HCC, she is an amazing lecturer and gives study guides to do that are very similar to tests

I took this professor for 5 weeks online summer class. She did actively participate in discussions and tried to engage students in solving problems on discussion board and answered emails promptly. It is easy to fall behind if you don't work every day, but you expect calculus to be hard and even harder to study online in 5 weeks.

Took 2413. Excellent teacher and super sweet. Speak up in class if you don't understand something. Be prepared to keep up with the homework (practice!) or else you'll easily fall behind. You will be required to purchase a book online to access the homework. Exams have both multiple choice and free response (FR), but gives partial credit for FR.

She is little challenging and a bit stubborn with grading. My only problem was some instructions were not clear for free-form questions. She is well-organized so no last-minute surprises. Book is useless, you need to teach yourself using online sources. Don't expect sympathy from her or expect her to make things easy. You need to put in the work!

Amazing! Everyone in the class who needed to take Calc 2 took her again! That just says it all. She goes through lots of practice and does not give surprise questions on exams, she does give short notice for quizzes though. Don't take her online, she says it herself she is more difficult online, so take her in person. She gives loads of bonus marks

Prof K. was chill and I took her for Fall 24. Her class wasn't too difficult but she does assign hw which you cannot make up if you accidentally sleep, same for quizzes in class. She never responds to email so good luck, but if you can fully understand the hw/review, you'll pass exams. She randomly gives extra credit but it's 1-2 points on a test.

Good Professor explains things well, if you take decent notes do the homework and exam reviews you will be ok. I have taken algebra, trig, and pre-cal at HCC, and this professor has been the best math professor i've had.
