I haven't taken any courses under her but she is a sweet woman, and is very helpful, I had a long conversation with her once, and I understood everything she told me, unfortuntely I can't think anymore excuses to stop by her office just to speak with her. lol she has a lovely accent

although it may be hard to understand her (for me it is not) she is very nice and tries very hard to get her students to understand and appreciate art. i like her, if you do the work you can pass. if you listen closely you will be able to understand her. i liked her, her class is relatively easy.

She is really nice, if you don't listen carefully she can be difficult to understand....she is very friendly and approachable...she give make up and in class projects to help increase your grade...if i had to take her again, i would.

So easy. All you have to do is come to class, and all of her assignments are straightforward and easy. Her English isn't so good, but it's cute because she jokes about it a lot. I recommend her for 101, easy A.

Awesome! Have taken several classes under her. Attend class, study a little and you will get an A - quizzes in some classes are daily (from a film that you have the sheet in front of you to fill out while watching as it gives the answers!) If you pay attention you can understand her without any problems!

Dr. Chang is SO EASY it's not even funny. All you have to do is come to class and PAY ATTENTION. THAT'S ALL. Half the time you just watch movies and fill in notes. The exams are somewhat difficult, but it's just memorizing different artists and pictures. Nothing that will kill you or your gpa.

Dr. Chang is really nice and cares about her students! Theres an assignment almost every class but its mostly for attendees purposes and doesnt count much. She puts her notes on blackboard for you to print and bring to class to fill in. Theres a 3 or 4 tests and she always gives a study guide. I would definitely recommend her class!!

I really enjoyed Dr. Chang's A101 hybrid class. If you are doing great, you don't have to go in-person classes. You can sign up to go in-person classes if you want to get an extra help. Dr. Chang will help you if you are willing to study.... I also received a final exam exemption (She definitely rewards your hard works and good attendance).

I totally enjoyed A217 class. She has very clear directions and explanations with formal student examples. She quickly responded your questions. If you want to just finish this course for required credits, this course is not for you. you are better to take another professor. But she will be a right one if you want to learn a lot from the course.

She is one of the outstanding art educators in SC. She is my mentor, advisor, and professor. I took all of her classes and loved them all.

Before this course, I considered myself to be interested in art. The only difference is I now have more knowledge of all aspects of art. As a result, I have developed a new level of appreciation for art in general. Being able to read about a new artist and hear someone visually explain their art help me to further expand my interest.

The class was fun. Dr. Chang is awesome. I will miss her class. My favorite class this semester.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this class, and I hope everyone that takes it can have the same wonderful experiences that I have. I am so glad that I was able to take Dr. Chang for this class. I am thankful that she brought arts integration to my attention so that I can try to make a difference in a classroom of my own in the future.

I enjoyed this class - lots of different activities and discussions! Dr. Chang is awesome. If you want to learn things in depth, she is the right professor. She is very fair with her grades.

There was a lot of work to do in this class because ARTE415 is one of the advanced art education courses. However, I am great to take it with Dr. Chang because I made a variety of lessons, examples, and activities. I also studied for the Praxis II exam in this class. Good class.

I loved Dr. Chang's class. Her A101 ONLINE class was easy to follow assignments, understood the materials, and provide study guides. She cared about her students and their grades. She offered multiple reminders about assignments with extra opportunities to make up your grades better. excellent instructor!!

Dr. Chang is awesome. I took both ART101 & ARTE217. I love both classes because I enjoyed all content of the classes. Fun classes/ fair assessments/... Very organized classes.

Dr. Chang was one of the BEST professors I have ever met. She truly cared about her students and their future. The class had lots of helpful lessons for pre-service teachers.

Dr. Chang wants the best for her students, so she offers multiple opportunities for most quizzes. I seriously enjoyed her A101 class. I recommend her A101, but Dr. Chang's A101 closes early.

Great learning experiences. This class gave me information on over 30 artists, many of whom I had never heard of before. We were able to learn about these artists' life and upbringing, the type of art they created, the art movement they were in, whom they were inspired by, and more. Professor Chang was awesome!

I'm very thankful to have had the chance to study it deeply. I am very excited that I took this course, and I hope to take more courses with Dr. Chang in the future!

Dr.Chang was one of the best art teachers I have had, she actually explained all the assignments and work that needed to do clearly as day and it helped me a lot because I have found a new love for art which is actually great because in the past years I have kinda fallen out of love with art but her teaching style made me love it even more.

I think this class brought out creativity. When there was an assignment that was in class, I could do anything that came to my mind. awesome professor!

Before this class, I never really thought about using art in my classroom. I also never thought about the benefits of incorporating art in the classroom. I have learned numerous things that will really help me in the future. I really enjoyed this class, and it has really made me consider using art in my classroom. Dr. Chang is awesome!

Awesome class! I am taking Dr. Chang's A101 this summer. I am a senior student at the College of Charleston. I have to complete daily lessons, artist quizzes, or discussion questions. Dr. Chang offers multiple chances to make the best grade. Very well-organized class.

I loved this course. It covered a great amount of material and is a great introduction if someone is not familiar with the world of art. Great to pay FMU $1500 for 5 weeks during this summer A101.

I graduated from FMU with an art education a few years ago. Dr. Chang was my advisor. She is one of the best advisors.

I am an early childhood major taking her art method classes for teachers (arts217). This class is one of the most exciting classes I have ever taken at FMU. For seven weeks, we have discussed integrating art with other disciplines. Class lectures, activities, and teaching examples are beneficial for teachers. Dr. Chang's classes are fantastic.

A great intro to art! Professor Chang makes the material engaging and offers multiple chances to succeed. Unstuckstudy ai was super helpful for quiz prep. Highly recommend this class.

Chang was a great professor. The class is easy by all the information that she gives you to know. She is very understand and will adjust if you need her too. She gives a midterm, final exam, a paper, one discussion post and a quiz every week. I enjoyed her class and would recommend to anyone.

Dr Chang's ART101 is very organized, so her class is easy to follow. She is very quick to respond to questions. She cares about each student. One of the best professors in FMU! I LOVE HER PERSONALITY.

Dr. Chang is an extraordinary professor! I've taken three of her classes, and each one has been a wonderful learning experience. She is organized, timely, and always quick to respond. Dr. Chang truly cares about her students, and her classes are both engaging and interactive.

The class was engaging and enjoyable! I developed the ability to analyze and interpret artworks from diverse cultures and historical periods, which significantly enhanced my cultural awareness and sharpened my critical observation skills.

Never spoken to her, but her assignments are pretty easy. 2 quizzes a week, based off of a couple of you tube videos and 2 pages worth of text. I would take the online class again, if i needed too.

Dr. Chang has made me reflect on why I have wanted to become a teacher since elementary school. She is caring, inspiring, and understanding. I am really enjoying her ARTE 217 class this semester.

This class taught me about major art movements and the artists who shaped them. I learned to recognize styles, techniques, and how personal lives and history influenced art. I now see how art reflects culture, emotion, and creativity, deepening my appreciation for each artist's contribution. The professor is intelligent, organized, and nice.

An awesome professor. I started college as a nursing major and had lost sight of what I truly wanted to do. After taking her class, I changed my major to art education—and I absolutely love it.

I took this online and it was a breeze! There were 2 quizzes each week but she posted study guides for them. They are fill in the blank study guides that you can fill out as you watch the videos posted and read the textbook/class notes which she also posts! The info that you go over is what is on the quiz, super easy. Definitely recommend.
