Very helpful and she doesn't make you feel stupid if you don't understand.
Mrs Clarke is a great professor. She is always willing to help you out and makes class animated and fun.
Ms. Clarke is so funny! Sometimes she comes across as rude, but it's just her personality. Her classes are alot of fun and really interesting.

entertaining. teletechnet teacher
Great professor. You will have to work, but if you go to class and turn in your projects, you'll do fine. She's very professional and prepared. You can tell that she's interested in what she teaches. I recommend taking her.
Funny teacher. Very interesting lectures. Tells you exactly what is on the exams. But you should go to class for psych 408 -- she does alot of in class activities that are mandatory for the exercises.
Eva is n madd cool and she helps you with all of your assignments and gives great feedback as well. She is also funny as hell so I strong recommend that you psych minors and majors take this class
Comprehensive test reviews and tests are multiple choice. If attendance drops, starts giving minute details in class that MUST be included in the exercises. One tiny ommission will equal a zero for an exercise (which is ridiculous). However, good grade still possible with minimal attendance.

She's Hilarious! I love how she responds to the questions asked by teletechnet student that she just answered! Shes a great professor
great professor! I ended up taking 3 of her classes. She was also my psych advisor. tests are multiple. Gives 6 exercises (4 mandatory, 1 for extra credit). Lectures are interesting. I recommend taking her.
Eva is wonderful. She was my psyc advisor until she moved out of state. She now teaches her classes online and the one I am taking now is so easy. She keeps you involved so you don't forget you have an online course but she's not overly structured and is very willing to work with her students. Also, she is incredibly nice and HILARIOUS! Take this!
Cool class, laid back, especially in the online format. It's a shame I didn't get have an acutal class with Ms. Clarke :)
The course was easy, but she could be very rude at times through the online course. She is MUCH better face to face. A great teacher, just hard to read online.
I think this professor may be overworked because she's definately changed her attitude from last year. She does not provide much feedback and all student questions asked seemed to provoke her wrath in this course. Take a break from Clarke.
I thought this teacher was very clear in what was expected of us. I had no probelm getting a A. I even got to skip 3 assignments becasue we only had to complete 10 out of the 13 chapters. I do wish that the teacher would have had a little more feedback/personal interaction but it seems like she might be teaching several classes.
To her credit, she was clear in what she expected from the students. However, I found her to be rude and unhelpful. She was also forgetful, as well as slow when it came to posting grades. (I took her course online)
Very easy class if you do your work ahead of time. Gives extra credit which helps a ton in the end. Clarke seems to be taking on more then she can chew cause grades are never posted on time. I would recommend her for any class...super easy.
she has been a great professor it is an online course so her responses and comments do seem dry but she is not a bad professor, onyl have to do 10 out of the 13 assignments which isnt bad either.
Ive taken several online Psych courses with Clarke and she lays out what she expects in the class outline. Only thing is she doesn't post grades in a decent amount of time. You need to read the textbook and turn in assignments on time to get a good grade. Always offers extra credit, which does help if you don't do well on exams.
This was the first class I took online and I aced it. You def need the text for the material but the answers are all right out of the book so you just need to look. Only need to do work for about half the chapters in there which you choose which ones in case u miss any. Miss one of the first 2 exams and u can make it up at the end of the semester!
Not an easy class. She lets you use your notes and text to take the test, but you must study and know the material before. Flipping thru the pages during the test will not get you an A or B. Not too bad of a class and I found it really interesting!
I had Prof. Clarke for a few classes, her expectations are CRYSTAL clear, but she is VERY VERY VERY slow to respond to emails. Do the Extra Credit. Also, has a strict A, A-,B+...grading system. Just do all the work and try hard on the tests. A lot of work, but not too hard.
I am a senior and this class had more busy work than any other. The tests are open book/notes but that does not help. Good luck if you decide to take this course.
Ive taken 4 classes with her and they are a all the same. Lots of work, 3 assigmnets per week,3 open book tests, (but is useless because questions are in such detail you dont have enough time to find them.) Its like HELL getting grades from her,and never expect an email back. Major Slacker and lots of work to do. dont recomend her
The class was straight forward (363 online). You have plenty of chances to make up your grades and get your work done. Tests are easy and assignments are self explanatory. There is no reason to get anything less then an A. I'd take a class with her again.
I took her for 351 and 363. Tremendous amounts of work! Tests are challenging. She expects every student to follow directions the way the syllabus states word for word, yet responds to e-mails with a huge attitude. She also floods your inbox complaining about how many students she has and how hard her job is. She should lighten up her work load!
She has way too many students so it makes it hard to contact her or get help if needed. It is impossible to have any relationship with her at all which some might like, but I did not. The tests are too long for the given time limit and her notes did not help on them. The book is your own teacher in this class.
Do 10 class assignments, 10 exams, 10 Coglabs and 3 exams. And you will pass with an easy A! Save quizzes and you can use them for some answers on the test.
DR. CLARKE IS STRAIGHT TO THE POINT. THE COURSE IS ONLINE AND IT REQUIRES YOU TO DO BE A RESPONIBLE ADULT. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS COMPLETE THE ASSIGNMENTS AND READ. HER SYLLABUS WILL SCARE YOU & IT MAY SEEM DIFFICULT AT FIRST.
If you take this class online be ready to not have any notes provided by the teacher or study guides for the tests...you're flying blind.
Professor Clarke definitely makes herself clear in the syllabus. That's the only good thing about her. She takes forever and a half to get assignments graded. She says to email her with questions, but never emails back. She expects us to get all this work done every single week, but cannot keep up with it herself. Terrible professor in my opinion
Sounds intimidating in syllabus but her class is actually very easy... open book tests, 5 application exercises, 10 participation quizzes, 5 study guide questions, and plenty of extra credit opportunities. Don't put anything off and it's an easy A... maybe an hour or two of work a week.
Tests were pretty hard, watch your time while looking for answers. Everything else you should get a 100 in if you just do it right. The work can be very tedious esp with a busy sched; keep track of deadlines! I averaged about 83 on tests and should get an A-, coulda been an A if I had done another ex cred. I may take her again. No, I didn't study.
She took a month to get our syllabus up for us, never answered emails, took FOREVER to get anything graded, its Dec.26 and I still don't have my final grade in, and neither does most of the class. It seems like she has too much on her plate to do her job well and we're the ones who suffer. She made this class way more stressful than it had to be.
I have taken three classes with her so far, and I will say PATIENCE, PATIENCE PATIENCE. you will need a lot of PATIENCE. Just do her assignments and HAVE PATIENCE, your grade will come. I got all A's by doing all work she required and forgot about the grades, i checked every week.
Here we are, a week away from a new semester and I still don't have my final grade. Pitiful! The class is easy if you follow instructions, she just needs to learn how to keep up her end of the professor, student bargin!
Takes forever to post final grades. Classes have been over for weeks and I have already graduated, but I still do not know my grade for her class. I have taken her a few other times and this always happens.
I'm currently taking her class, but I already want to warn others about her. She is always either out of the country/out of town. Never responds to emails/takes her time responding back. Grades, forget it she takes forever to posts grades/posts them incorrectly and you can try to email but don't expect a response back. Would not recommend her class
She makes the same excuses every semester for why her grades are not up (I have taken her multiple times). If you do the work you will do fine though. It sometimes can be a lot, but it is not very hard. Don't expect to get your grade in a timely manner. She can be rude at times as well.
Professor Clarke I would say has a fair class. I took her online. Easy format, mainly quizzes that are only graded for participation. She added points to every exam, I can't complain. She rarely emails in a timely manner, but I try not to complain because extra points on exam. If you do all your work you should get an A.
She never posts grades on time and is always making excuses. I sent her numerous emails and never recieved a response. My grades were posted incorrectly and the grading scale didn't match the syllabus. If there is an upside to her class it is that all you are given is basically busy work. By the way...We are all busy,so that isn't an excuse.
Quizes are required for participation. The q's are reused on the exam but you definitely need to be familiar with the book. She requires you to do a total of 50 questions from the book (across 10 chapters) and that can get tedious. The course is mostly busy work and the test questions are clearly from the publisher of the book.
This class was super easy. All you have to do is follow her rules. In this class we had something called coglabs which are some experimental research things, anyway you answer like 3 questions and get a 100. You have to do like 10 out of 40. The discuddion questions are an easy A. The tests are open book, but she makes them impossible to ace
Basically the class is easy. You get bogged down with busy work and all of it is really just graded for it being complete. Tests are almost impossible. I didn't know a single person that got above an 80 or any test but she adds extra points. Don't expect her to respond to e-mail, ever. It just wont happen. I won't take a class by her again.
Well planned, clearly explained syllabus that allows the online student to customize. I thought she did an awesome job! This is how an online class should be. I am taking psyc 410 from her now. True it is challenging to ace her exams, but this is college level work so what do you expect? You get out of the material what you put in.
Pretty easy, LOTS of busywork. Tests aren't made by her but the book. There were a lot of errors in tests and they are impossible to ace. I've take many psych classes, online and in class. Overall, I would not recommend this class.
She is a terrible teacher, I took her online and the whole semester she was sick. She didn't grade work until the very end of the semester. I would not recommend taking her. Lots of busy work. All tests come from testbank. No originality on her part.
Took her for Child Psych. Definitely need book. Class is comprised of weekly quizzes, learning objective questions and CD-ROM activities. She gives 3 tests. None are comprehensive. Tests are almost impossible to ace and are 60% of your final grade. She sends out A LOT of emails, and usually she is telling us not to email her and read syllabus.
I took this class online and did not do well because of the tests. The class assignments and quizzes were easy but the test were very difficult. She does not like to receive emails and make a lot of mistakes with her postings. On one of her tests, the class average was a 68.
I took her for Child Psych. Everything you read is absolutely correct. "Busy" work is comprised of CD-ROM activities, Quizzes and Questions you answer from the book. Tests are impossible. She sends out WAY too many emails, telling you not to email her. I have gotten 7 emails in 10 minutes from her at one time.
I took this class online and it was great. It is basically busy work but as long as you do the work the way its outlined in the syllabus and on-time, you will pass. The tests were not that difficult because the questions are reused from the quizzes' question bank. I will take another online class with her.
Easy class online. Weekly work due that is very easy. Not good at all about responding to emails. Exams are online, so you can use your books. Overall didn't really gain anything from this class, but it was a good experience.
Online class was pretty easy. Weekly work due that is very easy. Not good at all about responding to emails. Exams are online, so you can use your books. Overall didn't really gain anything from this class, but it was a good experience.
This was one of the easiest and most interesting classes I have taken. Because it is online, everything is open notes and book. Her syllabus and expectations can sound like a lot, but in the end she is clear with explaining things. No papers, just easy homework and tests. Take this online for an easy A!
Easiest online class you will take, I've taken every Psych class that she has offered and got A's in every last one.
The exams are everything! They are the majority of the grade. If you do not do well on those you will not do well in the class.
Dr. Clarke does not like to be contacted by students. Her syllabus is ridiculously redundant and do not expect a quick reply with email. She has a policy that she is "not available" to students during the 24 hour exam period, but in my opinion I believe she does this to procrastinate student issues and questions.
I had her online. She is super helpful and really willing to work with you. If you ever have any concerns, just email her. She's really chill and will do anything to help her students out. Class is really easy, just a little time consuming. She's really descriptive and tells you exactly what she expects. Great teacher!
Awful,Awful!I reg take online cls&although I was warned about how she is w/her unhelpfulness&confusing syllabus,I took her 'cause the course was easy. AND if ur like me,it was an easy class.10 quizzes& 10 five ques ch reviews. 4 Exams, 4 app exercises. expects a lot from u but slacks hrself.doesnt remind u of exams!HOPE nothing goes wrong techn'ly
I am going on my 3rd class with her, and I have always had a good experience. If you read the chapters as assigned, and do the quizzes, hw, and exams you can get a good grade. I have asked her to elaborate on a topic before and she has quickly responded back. I recommend her over all Psych professors.
I took her online Psychology of Sex class and it is so interesting and easy. Quizzes are based off of completion not accuracy and they help a lot with her online exams. Also, to every exam she adds about 6 extra points. Im definitely taking her course again.
There are a total of 18 quizzes and chapters to review: you only need to complete 10 of each. There are also 4-5 additional assignments on the discussion board. You work at your own pace; self-teaching.
She is a bit slow on grading, but the course is fairly easy. She allows you a lot of freedom and flexibility to chose which assignments you complete. Study for tests, you will have a difficult time with them if you don't. Overall, she is a good professor and I would take a class with her again.
Extremely unprofessional and RUDE! Very comfusing syllabus. Do not try to email her a question because she will give you a snotty sarcastic answer! I was totally DISGUSTED with this course. I've never had a teacher be so unhelpful and nasty in her emails!! Drop out now if you are signed up for a class with this unprofessional woman!!
Loved the class, loved her. highly recommend. Super easy
Professor Clarke does become redundant with emails because many students do not bother to read them and ask her the same questions over and over. She provides much leniency in her course so if you do poorly it is your own fault. Good professor.
Eva's classes are not very difficult if you read her syllabus (which is clear) and do the assignments she requires. The assignments are: 10 online quizzes, 10 tool kits, and 10 objective questions. Overall 15 chapters, so you have "wiggle room" for the rest. I enjoy her classes
I love Psych (my major) but this class was very time consuming! Written assignments and chapter quizzes are due every week and they are fairly easy but very long. There are research/reports, too. Prof. Clarke was great though; kind & helpful but stuck to a strict ethical code Just read the textbook and study, because the exams are HARD!
Took class online. Drug and Behavior Psyc was not at all as interesting as I thought it could have been. However I found the online course to be very easy with Mrs. Clarke. I recieved A's on all discussion boards, papers, and tests.
Classwork was super straightforward with "wiggle room" built in. Same things due every week from each chapter. I felt like I actually learned something from this class, and it was interesting. Would recommend!
This class was straight forward w/great extra credit opportunities. Although the assignments were sometimes busy work, the quizzes are helpful for tests, & the tests are right out of the book. You definitely have to read each chapter to do well on exams, the tests for me would have been a struggle if I hadn't. I learned a lot, and would recommend!
She is a great professor, even though she sends a ridiculous amount of e-mails. Assignments are flexible and you choose which you complete. Read the book, and do all the assignments and this can be an easy class. Highly recommend Eva, this was my second course with her.
The class is super structured, which I appreciate. You don't learn from the professor but from reading and doing the assignments. There is little interaction with the professor and the weekly work is time consuming. You are allowed to work ahead which was helpful. Do not expect to pass the exams by looking up answers, you must read the text!
In the first week she makes it very clear as to what is expected of you & what work needs to be done. Quizzes are very good study guides for the tests. Do not wait until last minute Tues night to do your work, because you will not get it all done. Easy work, it is just time consuming
Hard class. Not a lot of teacher involvement. Lots of labs and DB postings. Extra credit can be earned by participating in studies. Practice tests and quizzes help.
I took women Psyc with Mrs. Clarke online. It was not difficult at all. You will have to read the chapters and Do the assignments to past her class. I received an A. There are 10 quizzes, 10 homework assignments, 4 writing assignments, 3 tests and 5 points of sona extra credit that goes on your overall average. I would definitely recommend.
The syllabus is lengthy, but it covers all necessary information. Remember to write down the three exams dates and clear your schedule for them. The exams are only available for a 24 period. This is an online course, so it is important to stay on top of assignment due dates and READ. Exams are 60 minutes w 50 questions, so you must know the info.
Great professor and great course. Rent the textbook- expensive. If you don't study, don't read, don't try to apply the material- don't bother. You have to be able to apply principals. Exams are tough. Do the extra credit!!! Understand the due dates well and keep copies of all your submitted work pages. Professor is tough but a really nice person.
Prof Clarke is pretty condescending and bossy in her emails/posts/syllabus. Many things are repeated and written in caps lock like she assumes you're too dumb to have noticed it the first three times she typed it. I get that she may get tired of students asking redundant questions, but this is her JOB. Lots of work, but also extra credit available.
super easy class! I took it online, everything is basically open note/book so its hard to not pass with an A+! she basically grades on completion. she sends a lot of emails, but is great! take her if you want an easy A!
Professor is wonderful. Class is easy if you do the work, follow syllabus, study for exams. No excuses type of professor- spells out everything at start of the class. Very helpful if needed. Course is somewhat boring until you get towards the end easy A if you just do the work. Flexible assignments- can finish most coursework in advance.
She has been my favorite teacher at ODU so far! One time, my exam closed unexpectedly so I followed the instruction that were given on the syllabus. I sent her the info she wanted and she let me do the test again. She is so sweet and helpful. There is hw due every week, but it is easy. Very easy class if you stay on top of things.
EASY class! attempt on everything and she gives a 100(aside from the tests). I actually finished everything for her class aside from the tests back in early Feb. If you have a heavy course load and need something easy take her. Bad part is it's so lax that you don't try so you have to force yourself to learn the material(if you care about that)
So, her class is pretty much an Easy A. If you attempt on assignments you get an A. However, her test for this class are not as easy. I've taken her other classes and was fine, but this class I'm not sure where some of these questions come from. Maybe I got unlucky with the random generator from the test bank. Does curve though so that was good.
Professor Clarke is a great instructor. As with any class you take, you have to put in effort to get a good grade. She followed her syllabus completely and wants her students to learn and pass her class. I am taking her this summer for a different class.
I've taken 3 of her online courses and have received 2 A's and 1 B. She's clear in her expectations, allows you to work ahead (except for exams), and allows you to make up 1 of the 3 exams at the end of the semester. The basis of her courses include 10 chapters of review questions, 10 quizzes (participation grade only), and exam.
A very easy A, 15 quizzes available you are only required to do 10, 18 chapters in mind tap you are only required to complete 10, You have to choose 10 chapters to do 5 review questions on, 3 EXAMS 50 questions each and there is no Final exam.... she also offers SONA for EC. This is my second class I've taken with her and I'll always choose her.
It was an online class, but tests were only available from noon on Monday to noon on Tuesday. 100% unwilling to compromise on this is any way. There was a ton of busy work and a crazy expensive textbook/online module combination required. Dropped this class in a second.
Great professor. She has a clear cut syllabus and expects you to follow it! Just apply yourself and you receive a good grade.
Class is easy, but professor is not on top of things. Technical difficulties, being on vacation, and simply forgetting are not excuses for students, but she expects everyone to rearrange their schedules of when they complete their assignments and exams when she has any of the aforementioned issues. Not impressed with the lack of professionalism.
Fine class. However, I don't care too much for the way she teaches. She is an easy A yes, but she makes it pretty hard to care about the subject matter when she gives you free 100s. Her test however are actually a little difficult and do not expect her quiz questions to actually be on the tests very few are. Her extra credit is awesome though.
She seems nice based off of emails, but the tests are ridiculously hard. Don't plan on looking the questions up, because it's difficult to find any definitive answers. She only gives 50 mins for 50 questions which doesn't help. I failed every test we took in the online class. Other coursework was easy, but the tests were unbearable.
She doesn't have a strong presence in her online classes. Her expectations are clear. I didn't find this class to be very time consuming. This is a great class to add when you want to take on one more class than usual. Independent students will consider this class an easy A.
Professor Clarke is by far the best teacher I have ever had for psychology. She is easy to understand and stays true to her syllabus. Her class is easy if you just apply yourself and pay attention to the assignments. Some questions from the homework are on the test! She is very sweet and understanding when a computer problem occurs. Take her!
As a non-psyc major, I DO NOT advise anyone to take the course that is not semi-knowledgeable about the psyc field of study. Although assignments are easy ans she's easy to work with, the tests are extremely hard. Personally, would not advise anyone to take this course online nor as a minor course.
Down to earth and enjoyable.
Professor Clarke is really amazing! I had her for psyc 363 and psyc 408 both taken online this summer. All you have to do is the mindtap activities, which are easy/ fun so you learn quickly. Be prepared for her exams. She has quizes that you automatically receive a 100 for by doing them, which really helps with the exams. Take her she's awesome!
"Learning Curve" and "Video Activity(s)". Exams are tough, mostly because you have little time afforded to think about and answer each question. This class was a lot of work, (which one should expect in a bachelor's curriculum).
Took her class online. Sends WAY to many emails. Tough grader. Will never take her again. This class could have been really awesome, but the application of it all made the class my least favorite of all undergrad.
She is a very straightforward professor and her courses are extremely organized.
Amazing teacher! I have taken three courses with her and wish she taught more psych classes because I would take her for all of them! Highly suggested!
This class is an easy A. She comes across as a bit scattered and sends a LOT of unnecessary emails, but is also really good about getting back to you quickly if you have a question.
Professor Clarke is seriously so sweet! She sends you motivational 'wisdom of words' each week and has a clear grading scale. Not difficult whatsoever, but make sure to complete her Application Exercises (make sure to read a little about the topic). Tests are easy A-B range, I'm taking her again!
Read the syllabus, do the work and you're golden.
First, I absolutely love that she uses MindTap for class. I have learned in such a better way. I totally wish all classes were using MindTap. Second, she is super chill and actually wants you to learn the material instead of trying to prove herself as a professor. She is obviously confident in her abilities. Would totally take this prof again.
Although the class itself is relatively easy, I will do everything I can to avoid taking her in the future. She claims that if we cannot get in touch with her due to her consistent technology issues or her not getting back to us we will not be penalized grade-wise, however I do not believe this at all. Seems like she was on vacation all semester.
Theres lots of assignments to get a good grade. But her test questions are vague. The tests can be hard and you have to read a lot to understand the material and do okay on the tests. If you do the chapter questions, Discussion boards, and responses that are due every week, youll do fine. Just get ready to be confused on the tests
Professor Clarke is a good professor who responds quick to emails and outlines the assignments and due dates in the syballus. Test were average but I would take her again!
Professor Clarke was very caring and responded quick to emails even in the midst of our crazy semester. The work was easy and clearly defined in the syllabus. would definitely take her again!
Amazing teacher. I wish I could have her for all of my classes. She's an easy A, it's just a lot of work. Sweetest lady in the world, and she does a great job of keeping the class updated. She will send 2-3 emails a day if need be!
We're only a month into this class and she opens the modules later and later each week. She's very poor at managing her time and responding to emails. It seems she always has an excuse. Module five is due tomorrow and here it is sunday morning and still not opened. The modules are supposed to be open after the previous closes on wed at midnight.
She's awesome. Highly recommend.
I will never not recommend her.
She is awful! She sends the most passive-aggressive emails. Totally condescending! She expects you to be very time-aware but does not hold up on her end. Discussion Boards will not be posted even the morning they are due. She'll send ignorant emails saying her times for test availability are unyielding but then not have the test up and open on time
Prof Clarke is the best professor I've ever had.. do your homework and you will pass. very simple class
Mrs. Clarke is the sweetest most caring professor Ive taken at ODU. She has a good heart and will do anything to help you and make sure you pass. The class itself is not difficult at all and its interesting! She makes it fun and also an easy A. Shes the best, highly recommend!
Assignments and discussion boards every week. Easy stuff just time consuming. Very easy 300 level psych. I enjoyed it and found it interesting too.
She is giving excessive work. I get the class is all online but we have Packback, Discussion Boards, Mindtap Acitivities, AND Mastery Training. On top of reading. Its like she doesnt care we all have 4 other classes.
I will never recommend her. I emailed her and her TA several times over the semester with no responses. I completed all the class work that was assigned but at the beginning of the semester she made a "change" to the syllabus but never changed it in BlackBoard... so I wasn't given credit for any of it & she was SOO RUDE when I questioned this!
Mrs. Clarke is a great professor. By following her specific instructions all assignments are quite easy. Any time I had to contact her she was prompt with her thoughtful response. I have already signed up to take another course from her in the Summer!!
I took 323 and fell in love with this professor. She is passionate about the class so it makes it more interesting. She does give a lot of work but its not hard work. If you are note organized in time management this might not be the professor for you.
She gives A LOT of busy work but by the time it came to the tests it helped prepare me a ton! A lot of extra credit opportunities that helped me end the class with a 106!! Just do the work and make sure its on time, study for the tests and youll be fine! Shes really sweet and wants you to succeed and will do what she can to help you in any way
LOVE her. On my 3rd class with her. Every week has the same format, which is true to all her classes I have taken so far. Grades are on time. Fairly forgiving if you have family emergency stuff as long as you let her know in a timely manner. I would have her give my whole education if she could. Work is engaging
Her grading criteria is pretty straight forward. Several safety nets in place in case of emergency. All exams were open notes/book so as long as you do your reading its not hard to get an A. You can always work ahead and she does offer several extra credit opportunities. Everything you need to know is in the syllabus so read it.
I have taken multiple of Professor Clarkes courses and have loved all of them. She is a great online course instructor and as long as you read her syllabus you will understand the flexibility of her course/ required assignments. I completed this course weeks before the end of the semester. She is easy to email and considerate of students.
i have no complaints about her as a prof, but this is my third week in this class and Im burned out. The work isnt hard but theres A LOT of it & its time consuming. Not to mention if you miss one weekly assignment out of 3 or 4 you get a 0 for the entire module. no partial credit!! and then she makes you do a 1 page db with a 1 page responses.
There are two paper due every week, have fun writing lots. There is a lot of reading every week. There are lots of homework activities that do not align with the lessons. The professor posts the requirements for things late about half the time so the assignment gets pushed back. So the next week you will have double work.
I love professor Clarke. I have taken two of her classes, and I loved both of them. Her syllabus can be confusing at first, but you start to understand it fast. She is very caring and understanding. There is not a lot of homework given each week. As long as you do the work, and study for the exams you will be fine.
Class was easy and straightforward but the professor was impossible to reach. If you have a question don't bother emailing because she doesn't respond. Still, the class was an easy A.
She is very sweet and understanding. She uses mindtap for most of the assignments besides discussion boards. This class has been an easy A and I will be taking all of the classes she teaches.
Sometimes difficult to get ahold of, but class was easy and the work was quick and painless. Open book tests.
This class is very easy if you just put the work in. There were a lot of assignments due every week and the grading is all over the place. She is also all over the place. She is not very easy to reach by email either so if you have a question, search everywhere for where it could be before emailing her.

I didn't think a professor could be this unorganized. The assignments are easy but all the work is done through a third party website that she doesn't have access to, you have to talk to tech support. I am taking three of her classes and using a planner is no help due to the terrible structure of the classes. I won't take her again for this reason.
Her online classes are enjoyable. The discussion boards and Cengage assignments are amazing and very clear. I have had her for many classes and I have enjoyed everyone.
PSYC 324: Prof Clarke is always going to be all over the place. She has a lot of personal things that come up, but mostly always gives extensions for things that are her fault. There are multiple assignments each week, but they are all easy. Her tests are very easy. This was my 3rd time taking one of her classes and I got A's in all of them.
Professor Clarke was such an awesome professor. Very easy-to-understand course, and lays everything out up-front with opportunities for extra credit if you need it. I am taking another one of her classes again next semester, if you can take her, the class is easy once you do the assignments. OpenBoon quizzes and test, quizzes are for practice.
Professor Clark is a great and easy professor. Her response time could be a little better but a late response is better than no response. Her assignments and course requirements are pretty straight forward and all open note. As long you do the work you should pass with an A. I highly recommend her courses.
Absolute garbage. Professor Clarke uses a TA, but they do not communicate. Also, for every DB, you must post and reply; there is no partial credit. Tests are easy enough.
Ms. Clarke was very understanding, assignments are flexible, and everything is available at once to help you get ahead. Only downside is her organization skills as they are very lackluster. Assignments were almost always graded late and she was not very tech savvy. However, I enjoyed the course and would take her again.
She and her TA are unorganized and lazy! I use the Canvas calendar to figure out what I need to do and by when unless it's a known assignment that has to be done outside of Canvas. The dates on the calendar are for the main post only so if you miss the deadline for replies b/c they're not on your calendar, she gives you a zero for the entire thing.
Such an easy online class if you stay on top of your work. There are short videos and easy quizzes due every week or two, took me around 15-30 mins to do. Overall, TAKE THIS CLASS.
While her directions can be a little confusing at times she tells you exactly what you need to do to pass this class. Incredibly easy and straightforward class. Lots of built-in extra credit. MAKE SURE YOU TRIPPLE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. Your DB posts have to have the COPY and PASTE of the questions in your response. fun class.
Genuinely loathe this professor. Didn't respond for first two weeks because she got covid and left us hanging. Her TA grades half her stuff and she was rude to my classmates in emails. Must do at least 10 discussion boards/homeworks and she's nit picky of how she wants them. Doesn't seem to understand students have a life outside of the course.
This class was one of my favorites so far. I ended up with a 99 in this class, which is not usual for me, mainly because of how straight forward the assignments and instructions are. This class has 2 assignments due weekly (DBA + 2 responses and Cengage). There are around 32 assignments total, but you are only having to complete 20. 10/10
Took Dr. Clarke for 3 dif classes. Open notes on every quiz and exam. Easy discussion boards and optional textbook practices. Super sweet in emails. 10/10 would take more classes with her if I could
This online class is straightforward with easy assignments. The professor can be unorganized, but leveraging tools like unstuck study can help keep you on track. Overall, a manageable course if you stay diligent.
Clarke is supp to post modules on Mondays yet Have multiple assignments due on Wednesday and another assignment on Friday... it is Thursday She posted them now but why dont we have an extension when shes the one that forgot to post the module? New due dates w/ one day extension but i have other classes too that i plan for in a timely manner
Very weird with email, but this class is so simply laid out that you have to really try to fail.
I liked this course as she gave 15 assignments and textbook chapters but you only had to do 10. It was nice to have extra credit opportunity as well. It's understandable to have a busy life, but it took awhile to get grades and then you're. unsure of what your grade is because not everything is put in. Good feedback.
I have taken many of her classes and they all follow a similar layout that is easy to follow and do well in. Lets you drop some discussion boards and assignments so if you do well the beginning of the course you don't have a lot to turn in at the end. Easy to follow and interesting topics to discuss.
She's amazing
Heavy grading w/ discussion boards in her class(es). These are a waste of time and there's a 300+ word count for posts/responses of "role play". She doesn't do well with tech. There was a delay at the start of the year before the material was open. Won't respond to emails unless you 100% correctly format it to her standards. Passive aggressive.
Took this class online- it was easy, but it had lots of reading chapters. The content is actually really interesting so I enjoyed having to read the stuff, very informational. The professor can be kinda snarky, and takes forever to get to your emails. She will mostly likely direct u to her TA everytime
