she's a sweet teacher. she always has time for her students and she has tuaght me allot.

this professor is one of the best on my list. she gives very simple defenitions of the material, and explains in a sweet manner, I really like this professor:)))

This is one of my favorite teachers, she is easy going and doesn't put pressure on her students or make them feel dumb. Just come to every class, participate and pull 80's and above and you will come out with an A. She is very nice! Tests are multiple choice. I really suggest you take this lady I wouldn't be saying all this stuff for nothing.

Really nice and easy going, if a little boring. definitely more interested in people learning something than just regurgitating material.

She is an excellent professor....Very organized and knows her stuff. Her test are multiple choice....if you are not doing so well, she gives you a chance at some extra-credit work as well. Come to class, participate and do well on her exams and it's an easy A. I took her twice for SS-510 & SS-520 and got A's in both classes...Take her!!!

Great Professor. A no non-sense lady but fair. She just expects you pay attention in class, read the material assigned and produce legible papers. Not too much to ask. If you have the opportunity take her class. She really knows her stuff. Kept it interesting.

she's a very good professor, I'd like the fact that she talked about her family, she made it fun, however watch out on the test, even tough it's multiple choices, she rephrased everything in a way to confuse the hell out of you. Also make sure to give her your draft about the 5 articles on time, so she can rate it and tell you what to change on it.

I have her for abnormal psychology. Shes a really nice professor and funny. Her tests are challenging but I would not call them hard. If you study you will get an A. She doesnt give a lot of notes but if you study the textbook you'll get an A.

Not as bad as the reviews, worked with me for the grade. Pay attention, take the class seriously!!! You mneed to work to get the grade!!! Contrary to all, does offer extra credit, helpful as far as review time. If interested, she does want you to pass!!!!

One of the best profs I ever had. She was punctual, organized, and thorough. Knows her stuff, and explains big theories with fun little examples from her life. Tests are hard, but reading and listening paid off for me. I rec. her to all my friends.

She is a very nice professor. Talks a lot about her own experiences and has a good sense of humor. The tests are a lil difficult because eventhough they are multiple choice, she tricks you out of the correct answer. But she does give extra credit which helps a great deal. Read the textbook and write plenty of notes. I recommend her.

well first of all she is a sweet lady. I took her over the summer and she was very pleasant with us so i don't know her any other way. But she's picky with your grades. She gives 3 tests and takes the average of it and thats your final grade. and her tests are very tricky, so if u want an A, you need to STUDY REAL HARD.

Ok, quick & simple: 3 tests, all multiple choice, average of 3 tests is final grade. Lectures are reinforcements of textbook reading and also loaded with real life examples, so read the text and listen to lectures for examples. Funny, interesting lectures, cool+sweet. Definitely recommend to anyone who is taking Psych for the first time. Love her!

Prof. worked hard to explain complicated theories clearly. She taught me a lot about child development. I understand my own kids better now. I'm really grateful for the life-changing info.

She rocked my world. Really, really interesting, helpful and patient with tough material, and also curvy and sweet. That works for me-I'm coming back to school. It probably doesn't help the younger students. I'd recommend her in a minute!

She's a great professor. Whatever your grade reflects on how you work hard for it. I'd recommend her for people who loves to learn psychology but not for people who just want an easy grade.

This woman is well prepared. She knows a ton of stuff, she's organized, gets to know kids who approach her, makes it all feel relevant, and clues you in on the important stuff for her tests. Good work is well rewarded. I told my friends to take her, even if they have to come in at night to do it.

I absoloutely LOVE this professor! If I could, I'd take her for ALL my classes! she is the BEST! 3 multiple choice exams and thats it. you get what you earn in her class. I had her for human growth and development. Wish I knew about her sooner! I dont have enough space to explain how wonderful a professor she is! She is one of the best there!

She tells a lot of stories about her sons and give examples with children in them to illustrate the concepts. She will not tell you until 2 weeks before the exam that there is one now, it depends on when you get through the chapters. This made us rush at the end for the final as she allows a lot of discussion in class. But all in all I liked her.

She is GREAT! the best professor ever. She knows the material and is very clear on how she teaches it to her students. Her tests are mostly based on her lectures in class, so as long as you go and take good notes. you're fine. uses the textbook for review.

she is a great professor. she is more interested in the students understanding the concepts rather than just memorizing. 3 exams, all multiple choice. attendance is important - she discusses a lot that is not in the tx but will be on the exam. shes awesome

Dr Goldhammer is a good prof, her lectures really pre-pare you for the 3 tests we had for summer session. Her tests are a bit long and can be trickey. You really need to study her notes and review the book. Shes always there to help her students. Not the class to get an easy A, you must work for your grade.

She's clear and interesting. She has a million great examples. Her experience shows Loves her students, loves her material. This is the pretty and wise mother I wish I had. She was great!

I really enjoyed Prof. Goldhammer! Took her for SS-510. Honestly, I found her lectures to be extremely clear, interesting and full of examples. There are 3 tests.To prepare, I can't stress it enough, do the study guide!! It helps SO much & really complements the lectures. I got an A in the class and am excited to take her next semester for SS-530!

I had Dr Goldhammer my first semester @ Qcc I thought she was very nice, helpful & knowledgeable. Her exams are hard but as long as you read what she assigns more than once and uses the study guide with her book you should do fine.

i lovee her! amazing teacher, had her for ss510 and again for ss530. she gives her real life experiences and teaches the realiy of psych not just from a book. TAKE HER, u jus hav to study for her test and work hard, but u feel so accomplished wen u get thru her class. she is the best

amazingggg .. take her.. took her 2 semesters in a row.. experienced and it shows and she talks from her past not just from a txtbk, she gives 10 extra points on a test just for writing ur name a certain way and every q over 50 is extra credit amazinggg

Prof. Goldhammer is truly great! I too, took her for SS-510 last semester and again for SS-530 this one. She was just as good if not better. There are 3 tests, evenly weighted. She gives tons of examples in her lectures, and is honestly interesting. I'm even taking her again next semester for SS-520! I'd definitely reccomed her!

Prof. Goldhammer is one of the best professors I've ever had. Very clear, gives many good examples, and has a great deal of knowledge. Her class was always my favorite to go to. The class itself is based on 3 tests. Her lectures prepare you well, and if you take that extra time to read and study from the book,you will learn the material very well.

LOVE HER! She is so much fun.she gives great examples which help a lot.Took her in the summer for SS-520 and got an A. she gives 3 exams which are kinda hard but if you study You'll be fine and she does review before the exams so there's no reason not to get a high grade.I recommend her!

She is different every semester. Some say that she is easy and gives reviews before the exam. In our spring semester she was hard. No reviews at all. Hard research paper and hard exams. We had to study a lot. It was not easy.

I took her in the summer. It is hard to sit through such long classes every day. Still, she was interesting and well organized. Stayed around to help people out after class, even though it was late at night. I will try to catch another course of hers.

I took her in the summer for abnormal psychology. I didn't get the textbook and missed 2-3 days. the test are easy multiple choice. no papers. she has lots of stories about previous clients that relate to the topics so it makes things easy to remember if you remember the stories.

I loved Dr. Goldhammer. She is such an amazing psychology professor. I took her for a writing intensive course and we had to write a 10-12 page paper. She makes the class very interesting because of her long experience in the field. She is also very kind and is always willing to help students. I highly recommend her; you will learn a lot!

Goldhammer was a very nice lady but she doesn't write much on the board so the class notes are not what will help you on the test, you MUST read the assigned chapters of the text book in order to pass her tests and you will be good.

This lady has a lot of experience, and shares it. I will remember the examples and the theories. Did great in the class,and peopl make more sense to me now. Grab her class if you can.

Literally love her. I've never been an A student and I was getting 110 test grades. She doesn't give powerpoints for her notes but she will talk slow for you and repeat. Sit towards the front because she's old and quiet. She gives a lot of examples for the concepts so its really easy to understand. Will definitely take her in the future.

Online async class she posts lecture notes for you to read and theres absolutely no assignments ; only took 2 exams that was a bit of writing ; takes a while to grade the exams though
