I took her class and it was very difficult! She doesnt help students and talks about her son way to much! Worst worst worst teacher I have ever taken!

She was thrown into teaching this class at the last minute and it was very obvious. She spends 90% of class writing exactly what is in the book on the bored. She does very few examples and when she does it just makes things more confusing. Her tests vary from easy to impossible. I wouldn't recommend taking her for this class!!

Cant read her handwriting, dresses sloppy, annoying voice, doesn't teach you anything, I use the book to teach myself, says mkay too much, speaks way too fast. Awful teacher don't take her.

She is a very sweet lady and she loves economics, however, she not a great professor. She is a very boring lecturer, and only uses the examples found in the book rather and anything with specific real world application. Her class is not difficult if you do the homework and study, but be ready to be very bored.

Avoid this teacher!!!! Terribly unclear. Goes off on random tangents that are not connected to the notes then tests on those tangents. Unorganized, and seems to not know what she is talking about. I feel like i learned more from google than in her lectures. You might as well skip because you learn more from quizlet anyways.

Hardcore liberal. Spent the whole class bashing whites for trump being elected. This is economics, not government. Very off topic almost every class, don't expect to learn anything in class. You must study on your own. Not very knowledgeable in her rants.

Goes over material briefly, barely scratching the surface. This is microecon but my macro teacher had this way easier on us by providing math shortcuts and memory techniques while the professor does not offer that. She also expects you to go beyond and know material for a homework before learning it in class. What?? Better not go to school then

Was I supposed to learn anything from her? I sincerely hope not... unfortunately there's no economics tutoring at my campus so I was out of luck. If you have any other option, take it. Literally any other option would save you.

She doesnt use any of her own notes or resources for online classes, she only gave a rough outline and the chapters of the book. (Something you can find yourself). She gave no review for tests, and all assignments were from cengage. While its fairly easy to pass, dont expect to learn much from the teacher, you must do everything on your own.

Read the chapters twice. Did all the necessary work. I understood the material, but had the worst time passing the exams. Barely made a B. I believe a majority of the online students dropped the course.

She doesn't actually teach. She does a couple examples on the board then expects you to know everything. Book was necessary, but also pointless since she doesn't use it. I needed the book just to try to teach myself. Don't take her if you don't have to!!

This was the worst economics professor I have ever encountered. She cancels class out of nowhere and does not give a notice besides a note on her door. When she gives lectures, one can infer that she is not qualified to teach economics. Please do yourself the favor and find a different professor.

She really doesnt teach her online students and be prepared for her to call you out online when she sends reminders. you could knock out all of the homework but if you dont pass the 4 exams she has. dont bother taking the class. we had alot of people drop the class. probably one of the most irritating classes ive taken

Very difficult teacher. Does have reviews handed out before the test, BUT they are never on the test. She does feel very disorganized and during lecture can be hard to follow sometimes. I'd suggest going with a different teacher

Terrible class. She is very disorganized, and is not aware of what she is doing. She doesnt understand the material that is being taught. Please go with a different teacher.

Mediocre lectures, tough grading, and seems completely unorganized. I'm an A/B student and I barely got an A. Look into other teachers but it's not the end of the world if you have her. Just do the HW and study the power points prior to the tests.

I am normally a high B low A student and this class definitely changed that. I worked really hard in class and took diligent notes, but none of that seemed to matter with this professor. I did all my homework and got great grades on them, only to come and fail the exams. The reviews and examples do not relate to the tests at all. Dont take her.

Shes very unorganized and was late to class every day. Her material she covers in class was very brief and had nothing to do with the homework or tests. I would not recommend taking this professor.

If class is cancelled she does not send an email out or tell anyone in advanced, she just leaves a note on her door. She gives reviews before tests but they are nothing like the tests. She treats her classes like they are high school classes. This is the first time I have ever got a C in a college class and she is a super tough grader.

I have never gotten a D in a class until this course. I was in her online class, we used myeconlab, and my life revolved around finishing her assignments. Her online test were proctored, meaning that your screen will be recording you while you test. I recommend looking for another professor.

She gives lots of homework. The things she teaches in class do not help on the test. She gives test reviews that don't help because her tests seem like they're in a foreign language. You can study and know the material but the way she words her questions make the tests 100 times harder. Please do yourself a favor and find another teacher.

TON of homework on MyEconLab, certain questions (ones where you have to draw a graph) are unclear and confusing. I often have to get an answer wrong just to know the equation I needed to get the answer. Her lectures are bad at conveying info, she had a personal family issue and was often absent and we learned more from the sub. Take someone else.

Probably one of the worst Econ teacher's i've taken. She had a personal issue and was out of class for a while and i loved the sub he taught us more than she did (Mr. Thompson). Homework get two chances for each question and their tough. Her lectures are not very detailed and most of it is not like the test reviews she gives. Wouldn't take again.

She doesnt explain how to do the math or fully explains the graphs. She just focuses on vocabulary but then will put these math equations that you have never seen on the test. She also makes the tests worth the majority of your grade but assigns homework that is barely worth anything. And her paper at the end of the semester wont be explained.

One of the worsts professors I have ever had. She is quite mean and terrible at explaining. Her exam reviews and lectures don't even help you with the exam. I highly do not recommend her class. TCC you can do better.

This professor was so rude and insensitive please please please never take her if you actually want to be successful she doesnt give much extra credit doesnt explain assignments wont help you and insensitive to anyones tragedys other than her own

If you're looking for the exam to look like anything you've been working on for months, don't count on it. The work and the exams don't match up and in adversity you won't be given any mercy. I was unable to access the website used for all of the classwork and was told to take those 0's. The only good thing is the extra credit she gives is easy.

I literally don't know why TCC hasn't fired her already. What she teaches in class and MyEconLab will not help you with the test. I studied the Practiced exam and still failed hard because they are 2 very different things. DO NOT TAKE HER.

Worst professor yet! A shame for a professor to be snarky in emails and have very little respect for her students. If I could give her a zero I would. She does not try to work with students as hard as this course is already. please do not do not take her!

Started out great then as the semester went on she becomes not helpful and stopped responding to my emails, My Econ Lab was useless and did not teach me a thing. Do not take her.

Worst professor Ive ever had. Not only are we in a pandemic but doing online school at the same time! She shouldve been more sympathetic to people who are still trying to get with the program. She assigned too many assignments on MyEconLab and would lecture SOO slowly. None of the stuff we were assigned was even on the test. DONT TAKE HER.

Horrible Professor, don't waste your time and money on this class. She does not respond to your emails. She uses proctorio for her test. She is careless for her students. Tcc add better professor for econ!!

Before taking this professor. I heard she was a awful professor but when I register for class she was the only option. Everyone was right. This professor is AWFUL. She literally burp in front of me (when I went to her office hours). She gives too much homework and sometime humiliated his students.

In order to pass any if her classes, you MUST read and teach yourself. She starts every class by handing out a packet of terms basically and spends class going through those. Once that is over she then goes and has a spreadsheet that she has made and will just keep talking all of class as she fills it out. There is no hands on class interaction.

Probably the worst professor I've ever had. She did some favoritism in her class and you can tell if she liked you or not. It was clear to me that she didn't like me and was an ass the whole semester and I'm unsure why, but at least I passed though. Just make sure you do the hw and practice filling in the excel sheets because excel is 70% yourgrade

Had no choice but to take her class for my degree. I read everyone's reviews and I agree she is the worst professor/human being I've ever met. Her lectures are just terminology when most of your grade is spreadsheets which she barely teaches on. Shows alot of favoritism and sometimes makes fun of her students who struggle. Hope she gets fired 1 day

First of all this class is already difficult and it makes it a little more difficult online. I would say I am fairly good at learning from any type of way like written notes or videos ect. When I say this teachers notes were bad, they were bad. lots of mistakes and very little explaining on how to do some accounting concepts. basically teach myself

I have nothing nice to say about this professor. She constantly bad mouthed at her accounting professors on the campus and did not even use a textbook. She has no business teaching accounting. Extremely unprofessional and political. How is an economics professor the HoD of accounting at TCC?
