Good professor, easy to understand lectures with a lot of extra credit opportunities. Perfect for a easy GE or just plainly to learn about general Psych. 3/4 tests required- top three tests make your grade which is nice.

This professor is good. Honestly all you have to do is listen to the lectures and you will understand the material. As he uploads the lectures, I feel like that is a big benefit because you can go back to them and review. You do have to remember a lot but honestly its not all that bad, the midterms are quite easy if you study a good amount!

lectures can be a bit boring sometimes, but that is mostly because it is a 2hr class. Test heavy, but there are ALOT of extra credit opportunities.

He is a very devoted professor and you can tell that he cares a lot about the students in his class. He offered extra credit after he noticed that some people scored poorly on his exams. He is very fair in testing material and only tests on things that he lectures on.

Professor makes info very accessible. Lecture slides are based on the textbook and you can choose to read it for further explanation. Hes a great professor that has a passion for psychology. He knows his material and makes the lectures interesting. Since there isnt homework, class is graded on exams. Grades consist of 3 non-cumulative midterms and 1 cumulative final. 33% each. Lowest one may be dropped, including the final. His class skims over lots of psychological and biological concepts with breadth but no depth, so I wouldn't say it's hard. Lots of extra credit chances that my course grade is over 100%. A super nice teacher. Take him!

Professor is clearly very passionate about psychology and teaching. Cares a lot about his students and constantly makes sure that they have all of the materials necessary to succeed in his class. Provides organized study guides and pre-exam quizzes before tests. Exams are not difficult to study for. Definitely recommend if interested in psych!

The professor understands the struggle of the students and does his best to give us chances to boost our grades up with extra credits. Exams are based off of lectures and will require lots of reviewing but he provides helpful study guides. DO go for office hours!

He was late to the first few lectures, but now punctual He takes time to cover the slides, the pace is slower than usual classes, so it makes it easier to learn Exams are what you learn in lecture, and if you go over the slides and attend lecture you're golden There is a ton of extra credit! Wonderful professor in my opinion, would take again!

He tries to keep the topics interesting. He posts the lectures online and provides the slides from class. This is great for those of us who commute and cannot make it to every lecture. He provides plenty of extra credit to help offset any bad scores and only counts 3 out of 4 tests. Currently has a TA who responds quickly to emails.

I love this professor. He's funny and although his jokes can sometimes be cheesy they are quite amusing. The class is easy to understand if you listen to what he says. You guys take notes but other than that there is no homework except studying for midterms. I recommend this class because what you get to learn is also fun.

He is a professor that genuinely likes his job! His PCS 101 class is very interesting but the midterms are harder then expected and require studying.. Overall he is a funny Prof and I would take him again! PS- there are a lot of extra credit opportunities.

Prof. A really tries to make sure he creates a happy and welcoming environment for his students. Hes very informative, and attending his lectures and slides are all you need to do well in his class. He does go off on tangents, but honestly its a nice breather from the almost 2 hour lectures. Just an overall wholesome and supportive professor :)

Pro. A is by far one of the greatest professors Ive had. Hes funny, and his lectures are not a drag which makes this 8am bearable. He explains the concepts very well, and his slides and lectures are well constructed and posted on canvas. If you study the slides, youll pass your exams! Also, did I mention theres extra credit!

Good professor with solid lectures. Test questions always come from the lecture slides. Study the slides and listen to lecture to get an A. 4 midterms but 1 gets dropped so if you have an A then you don't need to take the final. You can tell he cares about his students.

Grades are based on exams that are easy if you go over his powerpoints. He is a really nice guy who tries to give as much extra credit as possible. No homework. Sometimes he gets distracted with funny stories but it is a good break from the material and actually helps to remember the material. Great professor. Would take again.

He basically just talks about the slides in the lecture and he posts the lecture AND the slides online, so you don't really need to go to class. Easily one of my favorite profs, definitely take his class.

Evan Antzoulatos, is a great professor. I am taking his psychology class, and apart from it being at 8am the lectures are interesting. Does not give a lot of homework, most grading is test based (not too difficult). And he gives many extra credit opportunities. In case you miss lecture, he uploads the recorded lecture online.

this was an 8 am but you don't have to go to all the lectures because he posts lecture slides and videos. you only need to take 3 out of the 4 tests and there is usually a generous curve. overall great teacher and a good class to balance out other classes.

Professor Antzoulatos is absolutely hilarious. Even though the lecture is at 8 AM he definitely brightens up your morning. His slides are thorough and the slide material is what tends to be on the exams. His class is weighted off 3 midterms and a final, however, you only have to take 3/4 as he drops one. Evan Antzoulatos is a professor who truly enjoys teaching his material. He posts all his slides and recording of his lectures on line in case you can't make it to class. The class is based solely on 3 exams (there are 4 but he takes your top 3 scores) that are not too difficult if you study the material. He laughs a lot and makes the class fun.

Easily one of my favorite profs. Lectures are interesting and extremely relevant to the exams. The exams are pretty fair, and the study guides he posts are easy to understand and helpful. He provides many extra credit opportunities, and you can tell he really cares about his students succeeding.

Nice professor, genuinely cares about what he's teaching students (he gets particularly excited about the psychology of learning). For me, when I see that the professor cares about the topic, it's easier mentally engage with the topic. Graded on 3 midterms, 1 final and 6 units of research participation required. I found the multiple-choice midterms to be difficult so STUDY. Very heavy accent and can be hard to understand at times. He makes it easy to pass if you put in a bit of effort and take advantage of the extra credit.

Honestly, one of the easiest and caring professors. Gives a 10 minute break b/w lectures, provides extra credit (where u literally participate and get free points!!). Tests were so easy and straightforward (no trick questions at all)if you study the night before you'll still be fine and can score an A. Final is optional. Also the nicest guy!!

Absolutely hate 8 AMs, but this guy definitely made it much easier for me to go. Very laid back but informative lectures, and he loves making jokes lol. He makes the study guides, which has EXACTLY what you need to know with all the info on it, so all you have to do is review that and that's it! Easy A, definitely recommend taking him!

Prof A is a great guy. He does have a good share of his jokes, but I find them hilarious!! There are so many extra credit opportunities, so make use of that!!! As long as you take notes and actually just put in the effort to understand them, youll do great. Prof A is really caring and helpful, he just wants his students to do well and be happy!!

PSC 001 is a really awesome lesson. This quarter, professor Evan don't leave homework to us. He will post all the videos about the classes on canvas so we can watch them after class. The exams are all multiple choices, and we also have many opportunities to get extra credits!

Evangelos keeps us engaged during our 110 minute lectures with his goofy sense of humor and engaging teaching style. My favorite part about Dr. Antzoulatos is his ability to crack himself up. Jokes aside, Professor Antzoulatos is a great choice for learning the introductory material of Psychology. He is well versed in the subject and presents well.

I loved him so much. Hilarious and entertaining that I looked forward to the two-hour lecture at 8 a.m. His lectures are very in-depth and easy to understand. Honestly, I will love to take him again in the future for Psychology.

Very test heavy, your whole grade relies on a total of 3 midterms, but the lowest gets dropped and the final is optional. However, he has a lot of extra credit quizzes that will raise your grade up. Extremely caring and funny professor, he always makes me laugh even at 8 in the morning when I feel very tired. He's really enthusiastic about psych.

He drops the lowest Exam score. (I took all test bc I did poorly on the first midterm & passed with an A-). I didn't go to any lectures. just look at his lectures that he posts online. Study examples of the psychology terms, not the actual definition. Print the study guide out and make examples of each term. Tests are easy if you study that way.

I took psc 101 and psc 135 with professor Antzoulatos in the summer session and winter quarter. He is amazing and cares about his students. His study guide is very useful and gives you a chance to know what you need help with. He also makes the class entertaining and I enjoy going to his lecture. I wish I can take more of his class!

This teacher is amazing! Would take his class again and again. 4 tests, 30 questions and one drops off. Some tests had extra credit questions. Test questions are straight forward and arent trying to trick you. Study the given study guide and you get an A. Test are all cumulative but the questions are the same as the previous test! Class wasn't mandatory, I always went because he is absolutely HILARIOUS. His jokes are silly and he manages to put smiles on his students faces while discussing some challenging material. He is also super caring about his students, which really showed through as the craziness of the end of winter quarter, as he was so accommodating. Awesome guy :)

Easy quizzes based on readings or lecture, so many extra credit opportunities, and a lot of repeat concepts on the midterms. Personally, I found his accent a little difficult to understand but the learning experience was overall great. He was very funny and knowledgeable of the subject which made the class enjoyable. HIs exams were very very easy and he offered extra credit on some.

He is interested in your performance and is open to your questions and concerns about the material. You must attend the discussions to get valuable supplemental material as well. The test are difficult, but if you study your notes and pay attention during lectures, you will do great. He has a great sense of humor and is awesome!

i took this class during summer session 1, and due to covid it was online. I was also going through something difficult so the fact that this class was accessible and not hard was the best thing. My respect for this professor is very high. He did exactly what every professor should do during this difficult time for many people. Thank you professor.

Took the class online during summer. Sometimes the lectures dragged on a bit but that wasn't too troublesome because you could speed up the recordings. The slides were very thorough and provided ahead of time, which was helpful. Grade based on 5 open note quizzes and the lowest score was dropped. I learned a lot without a ton of stress.

All lectures are prerecorded videos reinforced with mini quizzes. I take notes on everything (but not neccessary). 1x week discussion w TA must must must attend. Pre-Test review meetings were so helpful and he literally answers every question you have. Very understanding and flexible if you have any problems and issues at home. Def recomm!

This class was so amazing, professor Antzoulatos did a fantastic job holding discussion section every week and gave lots of flexibility during the COVID pandemic. To sum, although I did not take any psych related courses before entering college, his organized materials and caring personalities really enable students acquire a wealth of knowledge.

Hybrid course is very flexible for letting you do assignments on your own time. Only meet in person once a week for less than an hour. Able to answer questions at all times.

Professor Antzoulatos is great! He was extremely understanding of the current circumstances going on in the world and adjusted the course accordingly. The class based on pre-recorded lectures along with a weekly discussion. This class is very quiz heavy, but they have no time limit, and a couple of the lowest get dropped.

I genuinely learned so much in this class. The lectures are all youtube videos that are short (5-15 minutes) and very well structured. Discussion sections were useful to the class and the material discussed ends up on exams. Must do 6 credits of SONA research to pass (start early). If you pay attention, take notes, and focus, you'll get over a 100%

He is so nice and he makes very challenging material accessible and fun. He is Greek and has an accent so it is nice to listen to him talk. LOVED THIS CLASS!

I wish I could take every class with Antzoulatos. We had weekly discussions with TA's over zoom & then a few quizzes every week that were super easy. I actually learned so much from this class. Also because of COVID & elections, he dropped 10 of our lowest quiz scores & a bunch of other assignments. Such a wonderful and empathetic human being.

I love professor Antz. I have taken two classes with him already PSC 135 and PSC 131 and both classes were great. the classes themselves can be a lot of information, bu the tests are straight forward. Study the slides and you will ace the test. No need for a book in either class. I am taking PSC 130 this spring with Antz as well.

SUPER easy class (even got bored sometimes), but he's a sweet & chill guy who cares a lot about his students. Makes a few jokes here & there to make you smile. Initially had a tough time understanding him b/c of his accent but got somewhat used to it. Graded on open note weekly quizzes (drops lowest 3).

I took PSC 131 (perception) with Professor Antzoulatos online during the pandemic (winter 2021) and honestly enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. Prof. Antzoulatos was super nice and tried to make the lectures interesting by connecting them to real life examples w/ demonstrations too.

Professor Antzoulatos is a great professor. His lectures can be a bit confusing to follow a bit because mainly images then slide with words. However, the material is not hard to understand. Took it during winter 2021 (during covid) and grading was only based on 10 weekly quizzes and 3 were dropped. he also gave 3% extra credit. Great Professor!

Solid choice. His explanation in lectures aren't always clear, but if you ask a clarification question, he answers them well. 10 weekly quizzes, no final or papers. Lots of extra credit, in addition to SONA. His class was the only psych class I went to live, he's really nice and seems like a happy man.

i took him for summer session 1. 5 quizzes on canvas, 2 lowest get dropped. all mc/fill in the blank/1-word fill in. 30 mins for 10ish questions. he explained material clearly, recorded his lectures, was transparent with grading. test questions are directly from lecture slides. fair and fairly easy class, i'd recommend taking him.

He is the best professor I have ever met. The whole class only has 5 quizzes, and he also drops the 2 lowest grades. All the quiz questions are from the PPTs. It's easy and fair for students even not good at psychology. Take him for sure!

Probably the most generous grading and exam difficulty I've experienced so far (4 online quizzes based on lecture slides with 12 MC questions each, lowest score dropped, and final exam was 5% extra credit). He's always open for answering questions and is very knowledgeable in his field. His passion even made me more interested in research, as well.

Grades are consisted of 5 midterms and a final, he drops the lowest midterm grade and all midterms are open note. Great class, no busywork, just the necessary review of material for tests to learn. Professor Antzoulatos is funny, caring, and really loves his job. He tells stories that relate to the content of class so that you can truly understand how they apply in real life. This is a teacher who is there for the students! A genuine effort goes a long way so enjoy this class! I hope everyone gets to have him as a teacher at least once.

Professor Antzoulatos is an amazing lecturer. Even when we were online for a month, he tried his best to make lectures engaging and fun. The 2-hour lecture is tough to sit through but he made it bearable and I would take this class again in a heartbeat. I loved his humor, and he genuinely cares about his students. 100% would recommend.

Youre expected to complete the work on your own time. 3-7 minute lecture videos on YouTube. exams are more than the quizzes bc youre expected to know the concepts instead of memorizing what u think might be on the test. But theyre doable. I didnt attend discussions. Didnt study. Anyone complaining didnt want to do the work.

The whole class was basically taught by another professor but professor Evan's grading was clear and fair. I wish he taught the class but besides that, there's a lot of homework and they're all basically watching videos and answering questions about them. The class is super easy, 4 midterms and a final, lowest grade is dropped for the midterms and he made the final optional. The tests are easy too, open book. Easy A as long as you read lecture slides or go to lectures! The professor is very nice, perfect GE if you have a bunch of tough major classes, forgot I was taking this class sometimes

Study those and you'll probably get an A in the class. Personally, I hardly went to lectures when they were in-person and still got an A, but I recommend going to his lectures if you can.

Very funny. Likes to make jokes a lot of the time. The material was well organized and easy to follow. The only factor for grades, however, are exams. 5 in total with the lowest dropped. However, these are open note and, if you pay attention in lecture, the exams are quite easy.

I was so excited to take his class b/c of his reviews but PSC 100Y was basically taught by Mr. Luck. The midterms were difficult and even if you studied for hours, it may not be good enough. I probably got an A because of the 2 dropped midterms and extra points he would give back to students. Would recommend to just take PSC100, not hybrid.

Extremely easy class; content was easy to understand and he gives out study guides that can be used on the midterms. The only downside was the SONA research participation that was required for the course (needed to take surveys or write research papers) but it wasn't too much to handle.

I really enjoyed Professor Antzoulatos' class. The material was taught very thoroughly; it was easy to comprehend and grasp the concept. The tests were short and all the information was found in the lecture slides. His study guides are also all the info printed on the slides, hella clutch. I would 10/10 recommend Professor A for any course.

I received a B- because I straight up goofed. Lectures are easy to follow and entertaining. Lectures would be followed by short quizzes to help retain concepts and information. I would highly recommend this class but make sure to turn in work on time. ;)

Everything was open-notes, so as long as you took good notes then hardly any studying required. No homework. He makes some jokes during lectures and is overall a nice person. This was the easiest class I've ever taken. I only attended the online zoom meetings at the beginning of the quarter and passed the midterms by just studying the study guides the prof provided. There are 5 tests, and one of them can be dropped if you don't take it or if you get a low score.

Prof. Antzoulatos is honestly one of the best professors I have had at Davis. This is my second class with him. I am a NPB major with previous exposure to topics and he covers them in a way that makes it seem so easy to understand. His grading is super straight forward and if you come prepared his test are always beyond fair!

My favorite psych prof so far! No discussions. No assignments. Easy-to-follow lectures (slides) and exam study guides. Open-note exams on Canvas, and lowest exam score (including final) gets dropped. Records lectures, so attendance isn't mandatory. Heavy Greek accent, but still likeable. Take him if you can, I promise you won't regret it!

He is one of the nicest professors I've had at Davis! The class was well organized and straightforward. Graded on 3 exams, optional final. The exams were super fair and no tricky questions. This was a great class, as long as you watch the lectures you'll definitely do well in the class. The lectures are recorded and all the materials are posted so it is easy to go back and review for tests. Graded on tests only, but easy as long as you know the material, which is interesting.

Professor A is an amazing professor, I highly recommend taking this course with him, it was super easy and he explained the material fairly well. His lectures are very interesting and while attendance is not mandatory I do recommend actually going to class because it is more entertaining and he is also very funny! Recommend him to all!

Dr. A is very nice. The course is completely composed of 3 midterms and 1 final (optional). The lowest score will be dropped. The exams are open book online, 12-13 questions. As long as you review, you can get a high score. Lectures are recorded. The course also provides 3% extra credit for SONA research participation. Definitely take this class!

I was honestly surprised how easy this class became, especially since I didn't understand a handful of the content. The midterms are online and you can keyword search answers from lecture notes. They are also cumulative, but some questions are repreats.

This is my second course with Professor Antzoulatos and again I loved being his student. You will learn a lot but the style of the class doesn't force you to be super invested. If you perform well on 3/4 exams, you don't have to take the fourth. This does make students skip out on the last weeks of class though.

He provides so many extra opportunities for us to get a higher grade. He allows us to drop several lowest grades and even gives us three times in the final. He is caring and helpful, I learned a lot about cognitive psychology in this class.

This is my 4th time taking a psych class with this professor because he's THAT good. Although all the lectures were pre-recorded by Dr. Luck, Dr. Antzoulatos was VERY lenient with grading and allowed 2 tests to be dropped (including the final) along with dropping other assignments in every category. By far one of the best psych professors at Davis.

Prof. Antzoulatos was very cool and funny throughout all his lectures. He is hard to understand sometimes with his accent BUT his exams and open-book quizzes are all based on information in the slides and he provides a study guide with the same information in notes format. Otherwise, great professor and lectures are nice to relax and take notes in.

professor antzoulatos is very funny, i liked his little anecdotes. no hw, 4 easy open note quizzes worth 60% of oour grade this quarter to alliveate stress. 2 miidterm 1 cumulative final, not open note but if you take notes you'll do well. had 4 surveys worth 1% extra credit this quarter too. but 2 hour long class, usually more like 1h 30-40 min.

First 3 midterms a bit more difficult but midterm 4 & 5 were easy and the final was so easy, he ends up dropping 2 midterms each midterm is worth 10%, zaps assignments are 10-15min actually read as for the worksheets that was always a hit or miss for me!

Prof. Antzoulatos made lots of jokes and gave us breaks to split up the 2-hour long lecture. He is sometimes hard to understand because of his accent, but everything he says is on the slides anyways. You're graded on quizzes, 2 midterms, and an optional final (depending on your grade). He also sent an announcement of Taylor Swift once (slay)

Tests all are online and open note, I loved the material we learned and the tests were based solely off the lecture slides.

Amazing lectures, clear and well organized! You will do well in tests if you just go over the study guides and memorize terms and concepts. Prof. A is an amazing lecturer. His slides clear and description is interesting and easy to understand. Attend lectures and you will be fine. He is open to questions if you ever want to learn more and provide many resources. You can get what you want both if you want credits or if you want to really work hard and learn. I will surely be back.

Great professor, very lenient when it comes to attending lectures, he recorded them all, which was great because his class was 6-8pm. Your grade consists of 4 open note exams, but one of them gets dropped. If you study and do well on the exams then your grade will be good, and there is SONA as extra credit.

If I could take all my classes with Dr. Antzoulatos I would. He is super kind and helpful. I had him for PSC 100 and loved it and decided to do PSC 135. He is always clear with his lectures and his exams are almost exactly what is taught in lecture. He does have an accent but he is understandable and clear so do not let that deter you.

This professor doesn't try to make his students suffer + have to go to great lengths to achieve a respectable grade. The rules are simple: keep up w/ lecture material & take 4 online exams, one of which is dropped. His understanding is seen by how the class is structured. Lectures are recorded and student concern is taken seriously. 100% recommend!

Prof. Ant. is one of the best, hands down. 3 online open-note (includes lecture recordings + slides) exams, allowed to re-try them 3 times EACH, and 1 final, lowest score gets dropped. He may not do online exams in the future though, so it depends. He is funny, witty, and explains his material very well. This class also goes very well with PSC 130!

I loved Prof A! I took him for both 101 and 135 and he really cares about our success. Graded on 3 midterms and a final (one of which is dropped). I would take him for all my classes if I could. He is a super understanding and sweet professor so if you're thinking about taking his class, do it! you won't regret it!

Professor A is my favorite professor. He is very friendly. The course workload is not heavy. The grade consists of only 4 online exams and provides 3 extra credits. The exam was moderately difficult, and three attempts were given. As long as you study hard, you can get full marks.

Four online tests, which are not hard at all, review the lecture slides and you'll be good to go. The lowest test score will be dropped at the end of the quarter. Sona extra credits provided.

Honestly, the best PSC professor I've taken at Davis. Very entertaining lecturer and very fair professor. Gives online midterms and final makes up your whole grade, but the content is fair and professor is very understanding, giving extensions for students. Highly recommend! Only wish I could take more classes with him.

Antzoulatos is hella funny if you pay attention in lectures. Psych was easy for me since I did it in high school, so material wasn't bad. His lectures might be a little long and monotonous at times, but he tries his best to keep us entertained. Fave moment was when he talked about Taylor Swift.

best GE I ever took, material is a bit difficult but totally manageable, and tests are way too easy (2 attempts and open book), I think almost everyone got an A in the class. And the best thing is the final is optional so you can just relax the last weeks.

Dr. Antzoulatos is great. I had him SS2 and the class was very chill. he was fun to talk to and he incorporated the students in a way that most teachers don't. it was especially helpful given that it was summer and everyone kind of wanted to be out elsewhere. if you attend/watch the lectures you'll do well on the exams.

He is the best professor ever, although there are not online exam, he will still give a lot of curve. You only need to listen to the lecture carefully and be familiar with the content of ppt to get a good score. His lecture is funny, answer every question with patience.

Dr. Antzolatos made a class that is usually difficult for most into one that was interesting and always found ways to make lectures relate to his students. He connected with students and was overall a very personable professor. He takes a break in the middle of lecture, has opportunities for extra credit (SONA), and curves tests if students need.

I had this prof previously in psc 135 and he is so caring about his students. He wants his students to actually learn and his lectures are very informative and easy to follow. There were 3 midterms (final included) and lowest grade was dropped. In addition he gave students points back if everyone did bad on a question for the tests.

He's a super caring and funny professor who just wants students to get the material and is helpful during office hours. There are three tests in total (including final), and you have the option to drop the lowest score. Textbook not required, and he gave back some points on the test because it was challenging for everyone.

The literal best psychology prof. He does have an accent but records all lectures. His syllabus says no curve but curved all 3 exams based on how the class does.

Class is structured well and his lectures are solid, but it was WAY too easy with how much extra credit was given and the ability to drop the final. I stopped going to class after the second midterm and ended with over 100% in the course.

Probably the best professor I have ever come across at UC Davis. He is extremely knowledgeable, funny, and clear on what he expects/grades on. The textbook isn't required reading, focus primarily on the slides and pay attention to things he says in class. HIGHLY RECOMMEND taking this professor.

The only thing in our grade book is exams. One exam gets dropped so if you do well enough in the class, you don't need to take the final. The 3 midterms are open-book and timed. Dr. Evans is truly passionate about his class, he is accessible and it is visible that he cares to build connections with students and offer support! I'd recommend you go over the slides before class, that way you can follow along during the lecture. I'd recommend you to go to the discussion sections, it's great for exam review! EC is available!

I took his psych 3 class during a UC Berkeley summer session. The grades were based on tests and quizzes that were relatively easy and fair. His lectures were engaging and he is very funny. I would definitely take this class again, or would take different classes taught by him.

The professor prepared and delivered an outstanding class. The content was excellent, expectations were clear, and the material was readily accessible. Exams are exactly as expected and you can learn from taking the quizzes and the exams as well as studying for them and in reviewing the coursework and the lectures.

Evan is a caring professor who makes the material engaging. Lectures are informative, with recordings available. The grading structure is lenient, allowing you to drop exams and quizzes. unstuckstudy is a great study tool to supplement the class.

2 in-person midterms and 1 final (any one of those big exams can be dropped), 4 online quizzes, no textbook. not a bad class, just study up since most of your grade is dependent on those exams. if you do well on quizzes, you can get away with doing okay on the exams. attendance not mandatory and lectures were recorded.

Two midterms within two weeks of each other suck they do, but your lowest test, even if it's the final, so it's really not that bad. 4 quizzes that were much easier for me, so just make sure to do well there. Also it's going to be 95% lecture material, is what it is, but he's a good professor just gotta go in not thinking it's gonna be an easy A.

Professor Antzoulatos is adorable & hilarious. I learned so much, he related lessons to topics that are happening today. Exams are a bit wordy & tricky, but doable. Such a great professor! The material revolves around two midterms and one final exam, along with some short quizzes, which are online and open notes. For exams, he allows a double-sided cheat sheet, so he is very flexible. Also, he allows you to drop 1 of the three exams, so a final might not need to be taken.

This course is not only fun to take but, you'll learn many new psychological concepts. There are extra credit opportunities and the midterms are not hard at all. Two-page notes can be typed and the tests are usually based on the slides(I hardly used the textbook). Overall, Professor Antzoulatous is humorous and a chill guy. Work and get an easy A.

This class is pretty straightforward. 10% discussion assignments, the rest based on 3 out of 4 tests equally weighted (the lowest test is dropped, including the final). He offers SONA extra credit if you need it. I'd recommend this if you need a simple human memory class. The teacher is great!

Professor was very funny and considerate, albeit a bit difficult to understand at times and I would recommend watching the recorded lectures if you have trouble. Material is dense but exams are not difficult. One quiz and one midterm are dropped with SONA EC opportunities as well. Overall not at all hard for a stem-based course.

Taking PSC 101 with him was a great experience! He's very funny and makes an effort in his lectures. A majority of your grade came from online quizzes which you got two attempts on, as well as two in-class midterms (which were very fair). The content was very interesting too, I'd highly recommend taking this course!

Prof Antzoulatos is a charismatic lecturer and tries to make info as interesting as possible. 3 online exams which he gives 2 attempts for is great and allows us to review and learn from mistakes. Weekly assignment quizzes are easy if you go to discussion section but TAs are not super tough graders.

Best professor I have probably ever had. Very flexible and if you do good on the first two exams and like your grade you can drop the final. Allows a double sided study guide for every exam and the class is very interesting and so are his life stories he tells in class.

He drops the lowest midterm and quiz scores and you even get a second attempt on each quiz. Just watch the lectures and take good notes and you'll do well.

Did not have to attend lectures, but would def watch them and take good notes because tests were online and open note, and it was easy to get 100% on them. Would recommend going to discussion since they basically walk you through the answers for the weekly quiz. You will definitely learn a lot in this class, but won't have to work super hard.

I really enjoyed taking his class! His exams were a bit of a learning curve for me, but once I figured out how to use the study guides and what to take notes on in lecture, they became easy. Great professor.

Was a interesting class but I am horrible with stem-based lectures. He is very knowledgable, and gives practice questions. I failed every exam but he curved generously, that is the only reason I passed. Good class though and lecture is not mandatory.

Amazing professor! I made the effort to go to his lectures because I found the class insightful. He posts the lectures after class, so I can always go back and watch them when I need them. Make sure to study vocab! It will help tremendously for quizzes and tests, def flashcards!! Overall 10/10 would take again if I could.

I learned so much valuable information and it made me more interested in psych. Prof is really hard to understand bc of his accent tho. Class not mandatory. Lectures are recorded and slides are always on canvas. 2 midterms (cheat sheet) and a final. Only 2 required! There are 4 open-book quizzes but only 3 required. If you take all, lowest dropped.

This professor makes learning simple and truly cares about his students. The class was easy to follow with no readings—everything was clearly explained in lectures. He always checked in to make sure everyone understood and patiently answered questions. If you want a stress-free class with a supportive professor, I highly recommend him!

He is such a great professor. All mid terms and finals are pretty easy and we are allowed with an a4 sized cheat sheet which can be both sided. It's all mcq's related to his lectures and he also gives his class slides and study guide. He is an amazing professor and is very approachable.

His class was very easy, and he lectures very well. His midterms are very fair, and you can skip the final if you do well on them. He also gives very easy and bi-weekly open note quizzes and he drops your lowest quiz score. Take him if you can.

Very easy psych class. 2 midterms, 1 final. Lowest of the 3 is dropped. 4 quizzes. Lowest of the 4 is dropped. He allows you to bring a 1 page cheat sheet (front and back) for each of the midterms and final. Lectures aren't very engaging. I recommend making your cheat sheet off of the slides

Professor Antzoulatos is a funny man, I am not fond of biology so it was harder for me but he is very understanding. 4 quizzes, 3 Exams, and a 3 EC point opportunity if you do SONA Research. Quizzes are online but Exams are in-person (double-sided cheat sheet allowed), you can drop one exam and one quiz (no curving). Attendance is not mandatory.

Prof. was funny and gave good examples of concepts so we could easily understand them. Tests were fair and he gave one front and back cheat sheet. Lots of concepts but nothing too crazy difficult. Also one test is dropped which really helps. I highly recommend taking him!

I loved him, so funny and made every lecture interesting. He gives breaks in between every lecture, and cheat sheets are allowed (typed or handwritten) for the exams. 2/3 in class exams are needed and the last one is dropped, which includes the final. Overall, great class and I hope I can take one with him again!

great prof!! lots of content and a little disorganized, but he's funny and makes the time (2 HRS) pass quickly. i took psc 100 in person and had a great time! he takes time to answer questions thoughtfully and drops one exam/quiz. easy class if you take good notes and pay attention in lec and study the content well.

One of my favorite professors at UC Davis! Only two exams and three online quizzes are required. The class is well-organized, and the lectures are fun! Exams are fair, and the materials are not difficult. Some questions on the exams come from the quizzes. I definitely will retake him!

Professor Antzoulatos is a hilarious professor. He makes the 2 hours go by quick with having breaks in between. Your grade consists of 4 online quizzes and 3 tests, but the lowest quiz/exam score is dropped. It is very lecture heavy but he gives us study guides and is clear what will be on the exam. Overall a very good professor! I recommend :D

Dr. A increased my interest in and respect for psychology, and reinforced my desire to minor in it. PSC 1 is lecture-heavy and covers a wide range of topics. On the bright side, the grading is easy. There are 4 online quizzes (open note, two attempts, lowest one dropped) and 3 exams (lowest one dropped/final-optional, allowed a full page of notes).

Absolutely loved him for PSC 001. He's engaging, funny, and knowledgeable. As long as you take notes during lecture and do your assignments, the class should be pretty easy.

His tests were straightforward, and he allowed a one-page, double-sided cheat sheet. He drops the lowest grade on both tests and quizzes, so if you ace the midterms, you don't have to take the final.

Dr. Antzoulatos was a great professor. One quiz and exam gets dropped. Lectures are heavy if you miss class. Study guides are allowed for the exams. Quizzes are online. Get professor just lecture heavy. He also doesn't use the textbook so rely on the notes given!

His accent takes a little getting used to, but is doable. He uses lecture slides and posts them on Canvas. The exams follow the topics of the lectures, and he lets you use a cheat sheet for the exams. Pretty easy class, and very interesting to learn about despite it being an intro to psychology class.

Professor Antzoulatos is a world famous Neuroscientist. A group of us travels 7 hours to see his lectures. His lectures were so good, we saw people travel hours to sit in on his lectures, including overseas students. One of his strengths is he tries to get to know all the students individually. He respects and works with different learning styles.

Prof. Antzoulatos is good at teaching complicated concepts and theories into pieces that are easy to understand for beginners! He is also very kind and patient. The organization of the class materials and the delivery of his lectures have demonstrated his high level of mastery of knowledge in neuroscience. This course is a door to a wonderland!

Prof. Antzoulatos has mastery of material. Great speaker, has fun humor, and uses creativity to make the lectures fun, interesting, easy to learn. (The material isn't easy, but he finds ways to make it interesting so it's "easy to learn" - not to be confused with the material is easy). I know classmates pursuing majors in psych / neuro bc of him.

As a high school junior, I came to attend Prof. Antzoulatos to experience UC Berkeley during the summer. He is a very kind, interesting and caring professor and a knowledgeable neuroscientist. His classes were well-prepared, well-organized, challenging but manageable. After each lecture, I listened to his lecture video and took notes. I got A+!

I like the way that Prof. Antzoulatos teaches the content in PSC 100. When watching the lectures, I am engaged. It is important to note that a large part of your grade is exams and quizzes. However, if you do well on these, you can drop a test grade, including the final. There are also extra credit opportunities!

Overall great class to take! Antozoulatos is a super nice professor that wants you to do well. You'll need to do a fair amount of studying to do well, but overall a great class.

One of my favorite profs I've had so far! The lectures were interesting and Dr. Antzoulatos made them fun and engaging. His expectations are clear and he cares about the students. He also always throws some jokes into his lectures. I would 100% take another class taught by him! Grades are based on midterms, a few quick online exams, and the final.

Dr. Antzoulatos was great and I feel like I took a lot away from his class. The first lectures are overwhelming, but he allows a lot of leeway so it is not as intense as it seems. His study guides are also very helpful. My only complaint is that the slides can be a little disorganized and he speaks quickly, but the posted lecture videos help!

He overall did a great job, 3 exams all of which an entire sheet of paper front and back could be used. Material was lectured well and translated to the exam well!

Literally the goat he's a great professor. Exams are fair and pretty easy as long as you follow the lectures and don't get behind. The material can seem very overwhelming the first two weeks but it truly is not that bad and probably one of the most interesting psych classes I've taken! Take him for any subject he's amazing.
