Great teacher, well structured class, and explained all the stuff very clearly. Easy to approach and make his tests structured to what your homework is.

Prof Innerst is extremely helpful and friendly. His homework policy is fair and tends to give the students the advantage. He will explain anything you have questions about and is very clear about what you need to know and what you don't.

Professor Innerst is a great guy that would help his students out with anything. He's really patient and genuinely wants his students to learn. He grades fairly easily, but he also does a great job making sure his students really learn the material well. I truly enjoyed this class, and feel well-prepared to take the next math course after transfer.

Professor Innerst is a nice guy, and an excellent teacher. Calculus 2 is not an easy subject but he makes everything crystal clear and I really learned the material well. He was a very skilled and cute math teacher I have ever had. He treated his students patiently and fairly. I loved to go to his class everytime even I was sick. He is very helpful. It was an online class that I took. He's really understanding. Gives a lot of extra credit. Do your homework and try your best on each test and quiz and you should pass.

If Math is a struggle for you take a class with Innerst. In addition, Canada has a fantastic tutoring program and a program they do a few times a year called Math Jam. The combination of these three things is a guarantee pass! I needed this class for my degree and am so glad I took it at Canada with Innerst!

Professor Innerst is by far the best math professor ever! In high school I had the hardest time with pre-cal and he made it so easy for me to understand. He has chapter tests and always has a review sheet online and they are super helpful. You can use a 3x5 notecard on each test and half a page on final. super easy to get an A. do hw and reviews

Took the summer course. Course used mymathlab and the whole syllabus was accessible online from the first day as was all study material. Everything you needed to pass the class was in front of you. Late work could be turned in up to a week late for 70% credit. Just don't fall behind, do the work on time, and you'll pass! Highly recommend.

I love professor Innerst! he is the bestest! i advise to take all math courses with him because he will allow extra credit to boost up your grade and is very lenient on work. No textbook! Lots of homework and a final project but if you seek out help he will make sure to help you out in any way possible. Plus he is so funny and adorable!!!!

Professor Innerst is one of the best math teachers I've ever had. He did a great job teaching a difficult subject. While he gives a lot of online homework, he does give you a little extra credit for finishing it earlydoes problems in class if asked. His testsquizzes are hard (mix of onlinein class), but you can do corrections. Great professor!

I barely squeaked by because I am NOT a math person. He was extremely available and helpful. Grades were always up to date which motivated me. Prompt to reply to emails. Doing all the work is a MUST. MyMathlab made things easier. If I had to take another math class I would take his. I hated going to the learning center for the 2 tests though.

I'm currently taking his calc 1(math 251) class at Canada this semester and so far he is great. If you do the homework before the due date you get extra credit on the homework. He explains things very well. He seems very willing to help his students if they need help.

I wish he was teaching math 252 (calc 2) in the fall. Took his math 251 (calc 1) class this semester. I really enjoyed it. He's always available to help if you need it. Always had a review day before each test. Tests weren't bad as long as you studied for them. I would totally take him again. Passes around attendance sign in sheet.

Took his math 251 class. 4th class I took from him. I've taken a few other profs at Canada, but he's the one of the best, very helpful to his students, provides extra credit on the homework, provides extra credit logic puzzle before spring break if you take him in the spring and before thanksgiving. Gives test corrections after each in class test. Always wants to help.

By far the best professor I had. He takes his time and loves the Giants. Homework is usually online, but very communicative and clear. 10/10 would take again for 253, but unfortunately the time that I am taking 253 is a time when he will not be teaching.

I live in Daly City less than 10 mins away from Skyline. I took his class all the way in Redwood City at 8:30 in the morning because a good teacher is more important to me than sleeping in. 2 words: WORTH IT. He's such a great teacher and I am really bad at math. He is an easy grader, tests are super easy and he lectures very clearly. Take him!!

DO all the HM try for 100%, this WILL help your weighted grade. you get 3 tries for online quizzes, try for best grade, take midterm/final early you get 10 extra pts. DO xtra credit puzzles, xtra credit can poss raise your grade a notch!

Took Math 120 online with him and it was a very positive experience. The homework program was easy to understand and use, it gave limitless chances to mess up problems and explained how to do them properly. He was very flexible and easy to communicate with, prompt to reply and willing to be of assistance. Would take again in a heartbeat.

There is a lot of homework, but as long as you stay on top of it and complete the assignments; you will pass this class. I am not great at math at all, however I have been able to keep up with the assignments and the professor is willing to meet with you offering additional support to help you push through his class. The man is simply a true professional through and through. His lectures are easy to follow, he responds to emails, he is available during office hours. What more can you ask for? If you do all his homework assignments on time you are basically guaranteed an A. And his assignments are easy, he gives a lot of extra credit too. No chance you can fail

I dislike math and really had no desire to take this class, but it was a requirement. Look at what I just wrote, now look at my grade. I am not over exaggerating at all when I say this man literally somehow carried me to a pass on this class. If you must take a math class, get this man, he will carry you.

Great teacher! This class was done 100% online and was a do it at your own pace style meaning you could go ahead and do everything. Yes there still were deadlines for the homework assignments and tests but it was very convenient. The teacher was very accessible to email and responded quite fast too! If you are not good at Math, take Innerst!

Good prof, lots of weekly homework. Situation is different because of covid, but sometimes he moves very quickly and if you aren't following, it takes a lot to catch up. Answers questions in-depth and does homework problems in class. If you can do the homework, you can do the tests. Covid sucks

He is fair and caring. Attending was not mandatory on Fall 2020, but it would be for two days of the week for next semester. Everything is on WebAssign. Lots of opportunities to answer homework, and 4 chances for test and quiz. 4-5 days to solve HW, but when you start a test and quiz you should finish it. Early HW submission extra points.

Great person. uses math lab for homework and tests. the homework on math lab gives you an example of how the problem can be solved so that you can easily solve the question as you are looking at something similar, also if you cannot solve the problem the system will help you solve it and once you do solve with system help you can do it yourself.

The class was very nice. Mr. Innerst let me do all the homework I wanted, so I could finish early. I had no worries, it was easy and fine!

Had him for Fall 2020, very caring and loves the subject! He did mention that in Spring 2021 the time for quizzes would be more class-like ie: like an hour and a half. His zoom meetings are treated like office hours but if you want to get the most out of him and be able to ask for immediate feedback, recorded lectures are not enough

He is enthusiastic and very much cares about his students. He's always accessible outside and office hours. He challenges you but you learn. Grading isn't tough but will deduct points if you do not follow directions. IF you want an A you must work for it. It is a joy to have him as a prof and will take his Calc 2 .I highly recommend him

He is a great professor, I took him for both of my calculus classes and passed with A's. You'll have homework for every chapter section, a mid quiz, and a test. Everything was open book and open notes. Tests were not hard and if you make a small mistake he will give you some points back. Always willing to answer questions and his notes help.

This year was a tough one for me as I was battling health issues while juggling a full time job and almost 20 units. Prof. Innerst on multiple occasions was caring enough to get me through this class during a very challenging semester. His lecture recordings, compassion and willingness to help is the only reason I passed. He is greatly appreciated!

Professor Innerst truly cares about his students, he is respectful and kind to all. He truly wants students to learn with the content he shows over zoom. He held meetings twice a week in this course which was needed due to the time to understand Bus Calc topics. Homework can be a lot a times but if time managed you have the resources necessary.

I took Professor Innerst's Calc I and II classes in the spring and fall of last year. He is a great teacher that gives great lectures and his online classes are very well organized. He started taking attendance in his zoom meetings in Fall 2021, but attendance is only worth 5% of your grade. As long as you keep up with lectures you'll be fine!

Great teacher, he has really good lectures. Easy way to get an A in his class (that I wish I did) is just to show up to everything he has available. He has a really organized schedule, with regular homework sessions and review sessions. Show up to all of them, do your homework early (he gives 5% extra credit on all assignments done early) and bam!

There is a lot of homework but you have multiple attempts. I took him online and if you make a mistake in the homework, the platform will give you a step by step on how to solve the problem by yourself. I know math is hard but the online platform he uses make it super easy. He replies emails fast and you won`t really need him. Just read the book.

Lectures always cover questions you find on homework, not a lot of professors do this. Sets apart class time to go over homework questions, great at explaining difficult concepts. Points given back for test corrections, unlimited attempts on homework. Test is not difficult, you get cheat sheet each test. Would take again!

Clear and concise lecturer, I learned a lot from this class and enjoyed it. Sadly, he was out during the semester with health problems and the class got harder then.
