Biggest mistake taking this so called "professor" and it doesn't matter if he was a organic professor at uofm, if you aren't a good professor just don't bother to teach. I honestly did pretty bad in this class but I liked this professor. He's funny and his lectures are fine though it is easy to get lost and miss part of the lecture trying to keep up with his notes. Hardest thing are the tests. Most questions are multi-step calculations and you just run out of time. Also did a huge .5 curve I went from 2.5 to a 3.0

Genuinely the worst professor I've had this guy doesn't teach anything he just writes material on the board with no explanation, is never on time to class, gives no resources or help, gives quizzes on material we didn't learn, unreadable handwriting on a chalkboard across the room, thinks all of the complicated material is common knowledge to us.

If you want to have a decent GPA I would not recommend him as a professor, I have a C+ and that's one of the higher grades in the class and we currently have 30-40 people failing in a class of 110 students

If you are debating whether or not it's worth it to try to push through this class it's not. IMO he is head chair he is done climbing ladders hes at the top he doesnt need to go the extra mile with anything. None of the questions from the quizzes are even similar to whats on the exams. This is a test/quiz ONLY class.

Lectures contain him going over examples without finishing them all the way. Homeowork questions are a waste of time because none of the info is being tested on. He expects you to use your resources = schools tutor system. There is very rarely a heads up of anything, he is very last minute/late to everything. Im not just talking 10 minutes late.

DO NOT take this professor. 1. there were only quizzes and exams and no extra credit/curves. 2. his lecture notes were TERRIBLE. 3. gave no study guide and told us as long as we went over lecture notes and the book problems we would pass. I would read the book and do almost all the book problems and the exam had completely different que

If this is your first time taking college-level courses, avoid Trivedi. To succeed in this class, you must be a good self-learner and be willing to put in the extra effort to understand everything on your own. He's savvy in his area, so take advantage of that and ask questions. Always review quizzes with him as he gives half credit in some cases

Professor Trivedi is great! You are going to have to read to do well, which he explains week 1. Trivedi curves all tests to the highest grade, which is why some people say there wasn't a curve (someone got a 100 without a curve). As long as you read, pay attention, and do practice problems, you should be fine.

please read this carefully, This is the WORST professor you can take. He can NOT teach if his life depended on it, he LOST one of my quizzes and when I approached him he said he would fix it (HE DIDN'T) and when I emailed him he never answered, I got a 69.92.... that one quiz wouldve gotten me a completely different grade but my professor was lazy.

DO NOT take him. His lectures are never on quizzes/exams. He yelled at a guy for wanting a study guide (most of class failed exams). AND he told us if we have complaints about him, we'd go to the head of the dept (him). He'd brush you off and then you'd need to go to the dean. "It makes me look bad, but I'm friends with the dean so it's alright."

He isn't the best professor in the chemistry department. Get ready to teach yourself most of the subjects. His quizes and exams are hard but he does curve them which does help out. He barely responds to emails.

He's got a new injury everyday lectures for 5 minutes and the rest of the time it is abt his personal issues. Doesn't bother replying to emails. Doesn't have office hours. Makes fun of his students. Tests r hard barely curves. Quizzes are nothing alike his lectures. Run away can't teach even if his life depended on it.

He always talks about giving out big curves on exams, which gives you hope but when grades are finally posted, the curve is barely noticeable. It's frustrating because you expect a boost, especially after tough exams, but the actual curve is minimal. If you're going to hype up a curve, follow through. Otherwise, it's just false reassurance.

Really struggled to do well in this class. The study material given often did not pertain to tests. No office hours. Would always want to leave class early and complain about the time. You might as well teach yourself in this class. He does not respond to emails and overall just doesn't seem like he wants to be there tbh

Dr. Trivedi is a great professor. The quizzes are directly related to what he taught in lectures, and the exams are very similar to the quizzes. He is also happy to answer any question you might have! Just don't be afraid to talk to him after class or in office hours.

Didn't show up for like 40% of the semester and was late for the first half of it. No online notes and veers off topic quiet often. Offered extra credit and never put it in the grade book (claimed to do so). 6 quizzes, 3 exams, ACS Final, lowest quiz and exam gets dropped. Doesn't answer emails very often. Doesn't always post practice problems.
