He is a good teacher. He hepls me to understand spanish much much better. He makes the class easy for every body the way he teaches even though he accent is close to spanish. So, i highly reccomand him to everyone.

I took him for SPN 1120 and 1121, got A's in both of the classes. Just read the chapter, and your good. The tests aren't hard. He's laid back, doesn't freak out if you missed a class, or if you have to leave early. Great teacher.

Just finished 1120. Taking again in the Fall for 1121. One of the best professors MDC has. He wants all of his students to succeed. He is laid back and understands other commitments. Always available to discuss progress. Gives preview for tests. Read chapters in book and no reason why you can't get an A. Take Him and you won't regret it. A+++

Great class and great professor! This is a blended class so you must be on top of your work, lab hours are not required since half the class is already online, you just need to make sure to keep up with weekly quizes and homework. He is a great professor, and open to help at anytime! She makes the class as simple as possible. I highly recommend.

Great professor. The class is made easy to understand, with a couple test and 2 oral exams. The book is basically extra help. His accent maybe a little thick maybe a little thick but after a while it clears up.

He's a real cool teacher. The book is not mandatory. Has a few written test and oral test as well. Pretty easy class. Definetly a gpa booster. Just participate and show effort and you'll pass. :)

Professor Rodriguez, cares about his students. If you don't understand something he does his best to explain it. He is very fair with his grading, study, study, study and put your best foot forward. Do everything that you can on your end and it will definitely pay off. The textbook is necessary only for your success.

I was born & raised in a hispanic community (im hispanic but dont speak it) so it came easy, but I still had to study some. u can buy the book or just use the ebook that comes with access code in MySpanishLab.

Professor Rodriguez was amazing and inspirational, attendance isn't mandatory but you sure will be lost because one class is like 3 classes but in one. He truly cares about his student and will go the extra mile to ensure that you understand the material before moving to the next subject. Do the lab assigments and you will get an A for sure. This was an online class due to COVD-19, a very good person, answers all emails quickly, help students. This was a 6-week class we had a quiz every week, just get in groups and you'll be fine. Don't stress yourself you don't know me but trust me Take this class if you want a good Grade! We had to get (Pearson Lab) taking now again for SPN-1121!!!

He is very nice and he really wants you to not only pass the class but also learn and understand Spanish. Respond to emails almost instantly, no matter how late you send them. The only problem with Mr. Rodriguez is that he does not tolerate silly questions, nor silly students, he says that MDC is a university, not an elementary school.

I took the SPN 1120 class in fall 2021, for he has been one of the best teachers I have ever had, in fact, I am taking the SPN 1121 course in the fall with him as well; The previous comments correspond to two students who never cared about the class or attending it because they sent us emails daily and answered them at the moment.

I took both classes in the summer, for me he is the best teacher at the MDC; use My Spanish Lab, where you don't have to spend two hours in front of a computer looking at what a teacher says, this is more practical and the students learn more, the previous comments are from stupid students who got a bad grade.

If you really want to learn Spanish, this professor's class is the best place to start. Incredible Professor, my favorite teacher so far. He will provide opportunities to learn vocab, contribute, and speak Spanish with a Native speaker. Holds students accountable. He is kind, thoughtful, and treats you like an adult. Great class if you really just need the credit. He only actually meets with you one time on the first day to explain that the class is just completing assignments on Pearson which you do have to buy the access code for. Lots of assignments but very easy if you speak Spanish. Would not suggest if you aren't a Spanish speaker. Easy A

This class is quite easy especially with this prof. No proctored exams, no online voice chats, no zooms, no attendance, homework is done through Pearson its simple but expect a heavy load of assignments but easy to do. Take this class non Spanish speaker or Spanish speaker the rest of the prof's at MDC are brutal with exams and voice chats.

Professor Mr. Rodriguez is an outstanding instructor. He is very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. He explains things in a way that will help his students understand his lectures. He hands out reviews that are identical to the exams. He also gives out worksheets for people to practice their Spanish. Also, myspanishlab is required. The Best !!!!

Took Spanish 1 with him and class was 15 minutes or less, and only 20-40 assignments per month. Spanish 2 had over 200 assignments scheduled for one month. Had to turn in some late and it really hurt my grade. He is super caring and he gave everyone an A despite missing/late assignments. Easy class, but you learn on your own.

Mr. Rodriguez is an amazing professor with amazing grading criteria. He is very put together and respected by faculty and students. He explains everything perfectly, almost instantly responds to any inquiries via email, and gives great feedback/help with any assignment. Everything is online (except oral exams) and the class is very easy to pass.

Mr. Rodriguez is the best teacher at MDC, everything is easy with him, both the live classes and the in-person classes, there are four chapters and the tests are online, he helps the students a lot and is a very prepared teacher, I recommend him 100%, any problem a student has, they talk to him and he understands and helps you.

This professor made spanish easy to understand, any questions he'll answer them to clear up any misunderstandings. There was no mandatory homework, but you did have to pay attention in class to do the tests. The final is an oral exam. Overall this class was easy and stress free!!

Prof. Rodriguez is very very very sweet. He's knowledgable. He's easy to talk to. He works with his students as long as you work with him. TRY! He notices effort even if you are having issue with pronunciations. He wants you to pass!
