Took this class online... she is very clear on what is due and her assignments. Yes the book is open book- but it is very easy. I recommend you read your book before taking it (skim through it) then take the test. I totally recommend you for taking this class. It's an Easy A... that's what I got for both classes...

I was glad to have taken her class online. She was very clear and organized on the class assignments. All class ssignments and exams were available from day one so you literally worked at your own pace. I would highly recommend her DE class to anyone who appreciates structure.

Read, Read, Read the day of test and get an Easy A or B. One easy writing assignment and 4 tests. If you fail this you are retarded or to lazy to read. Test are 50 questions multiple choice open book 90 mins online. Get the study guide!!! It helps

Took her class online for Spring 2008 - 8 week session along with my full time job. Class went by quick but not stressful. Exams are really easy if you read the book. She graded really good with discussion and writing assignment. Easy A+ if you have enough time to study. Didn't put much effort but I passed!

This online course was extremely intense. Not enough time to look for answers in book even if you read. Chapters are extremely long and tests are from a bank, critical thinking, not googleable at all. At least the Discussions and paper help your grade kind of.

Took the DE class. The exams are difficult if you dont read, short time limit so you cant look up the answers if you dont know where to look. Gives practice quiz, but not much help. Paper was pretty easy. If you only taking 1 class, working and you got time to read the material take the course. Otherwise you make it hard for yourself.

This was the easiest online class I took. All you have to do is read the chapters and take 4 tests. The reading is minimal compared to other classes I have taken. Read and take the tests, that simple.

I was expecting an easy A just as I earned in the 5 week Govt 2301 but was shocked how much work I had to put in just to pull a B. At one point I didn't think I would even get a C. Definitely read the chapters, pay close attention to the practice quiz. I forgot to do the first two and paid the price on those tests. Just know what you are in for.

Online course; read the syallbi and there should be no surprises. If you are looking to coast through might reconsider taking another course. This course was informative and challenging. As a member of the military this course broaden my horizon and provided instrumental tools to better understand policies that our nation projects monies agains.

Very, Very easy 5 week class! only 4 EASY discussion boards, and 4 tests! TAKE THE PRACTICE QUIZZES SHE POST AT LEAST 10 TIMES and save them to word, they are EXACTLY like the test! Definitely recommend taking her if you want an easy A or B and dont enjoy the subject.

Very doable for an A. There is a fair amount of reading, but its mostly interesting material. Won't make you memorize dates, etc. Tests are more critical thinking inclined, but nothing that you can't handle. The lecture summaries are gold, read these, skim the text, and have the text searchable while taking the exam. Super nice as well!

Amazing course. With very little interest in Government and getting my book really late, I can say coming out with a C was great. Until I realized after making an A on the last test that the book was not even required!!! :-) Recommended for graduating seniors for sure!

The syllabus was clear and concise. However, a good portion of the test questions were critical thinking. That's OK, but it was too many critical thinking questions, and not enough time to think. I studied very hard, and only passed one test. If you have a great memory take her class. If not find another instructor.

This class is tough. There are 4 exams, 2 hours long with two attempts and 4 discussions. You have to study for the exams because you will not find any of the answer online. I manage to come out of this class with an A, but it was hard to get. It may seem like little work to do but the exams make up for it. I didn't buy a book.

Easy A. I took the 5 week online course, and you only take 4 exams in the class. She gives you 2 attempts, and a couple of extra credit questions.

TAKE HER!!!! She is so amazing, honestly by far the best online class I've taken. She sends constant reminders of upcoming assignments so there's no reason you should miss a deadline. She replies to emails fast as well which is great for online courses. She provides reviews for exams as well as mini quizzes that you can take to help you study.

She is great! I am enrolled in her class for Govt2306 in the fall. Cares alot about her students and wants you to succeed. Very interactive and easy to contact. Highly recommend.

She ensures her students are well prepared for tests. She provides reviews and separates vocabulary terms from the readings. The textbook is available online so you don't have to buy it. Also there is a total of 25 questions on test day with 10 of them being short answer response that can be answered in one sentence. She's good for a summer session

Just took her class online for half Spring semester. 4 exams, 4 discussions. Discussions were easy - just answer one question and reply to two people's posts. The exams were 90 mins to take, 35 questions total. 25 were multiple choice and 10 were open ended questions. Textbook was free online and on Kindle. She responds to emails within 24 hours.

I took Professor Ballard for a 5-wk summer course (Govt 2305). Her class was pretty easy you read the textbook and take the exam, she allowed the class to use the textbook only. We had to do discussions and reply back to at least two students. *Tip: In the exams, there are at least 6-9 written questions the rest are multiple-choice.

I would take Professor Ballard's class anytime. Even though this was a 5-week course, it was easy to keep up. There will be tons of reading, so be prepared for that. We had four interesting discussions and four exams. Professor Ballard is available whenever you need her and responds promptly.
