Dr. Doody is a great professor. Lectures are interesting and fun. You will need to earn your grade with a lot of homework. You will learn alot of useful tools from this professor.

Kind of confusing at first but VERY, VERY useful information that you can use every day! I loved her!

I had her years ago and just loved this course. I loved being able to take tests online.

Interesting class but alot, I mean a ton of homework. Journal entrys and all kinds of menial stuff, but overall a very competent and skilled professor.

As a DE student, her tests are fairly easy... The main problem is navigating and her organization around her page.. The workload is the second problem also. Other than that, wonderful and nice teacher.

Dr. Doody's class is interesting and fun. A lot of homework. Test online, hard but you get TWO chances! She teaches from an applied viewpoint and you can learn a lot of "Tools of Psychology" in this class! Very useful!

There is a lot of work, but hey this is college. Gives plenty of extra credit. Class was an easy A if you do the work.

You have to WORK hard, but getting a good grade is EASY if you do work hard. Excellent applicable learning is worth all the effort! Don't procrastinate in this class!

I really enjoyed taking her class online. This was my first online class, and initially all the information felt very overwhelming. However, a few weeks into the semester, I began to appreciate all of the LD's and LA's. If you choose to "make this course your own", it's easy to get an "A", but you will do the work!

Don't listen to all the whiners. They want a free grade. The class was fairly easy and full of EXTREMELY useful psychology tools. Very low on theory, high on practical. I loved every minute of it!

MRS.DOODY IS THE BEST PSYCHOLOGY TEACHER, SHE WARM, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL AND FUNNY. ANYONE WHO WANTS TO LEARN PSYCHOLOGY, AND EARN "A", TAKE IT WITH HER.

I love this class! This class is a lot of work but worth it. Half the posting states is an easy A but at the same time to get the easy A you have to put in the work. Pls do not be discourage by the negative posting, just give it a shot and think nothing but the best.

took this class online. a lot of assignments, discussions, 5 exams and about 20 quizzes or so -- dont be afraid, of all of the assignments she gives -- for you own benefit, you'll learn a lot. getting an A.

I took her class onliine last summer as one of my first college courses and it was amazing!!! I really learned alot, granted it was a lot of work but if u stay on top of it u wont have to worry.... I definetely recommend her.

She is the best teacher.

She required a steady amount of work; assignments, discussions, and quizzes weekly. She also had you do a small project throughout the semester, but it was super easy. She gives you several chances for extra credit and allows two tries for the quizzes and exams. I was always interested in psychology, but I learned more than I imagined I would.

I stuggled at first with this class but once you get up and running, she is so helpful and knowledgable. She knows how to relate the material.

Dr. Doody is an incredible lady. She's very kind and helpful. She wants you to do your work but wants you to succeed. She's genuinely interested in helping out students who try. Firm and Fair. Excellent teacher.

Dr Doody is a nice person - with great stories- BUT her online class was challenging. Assignments are Easy BUT the tests and quizzes are a challenge. She wants you to read between the lines - and use inferred knowledge on her quizzes to see if you have a true understanding. I was top in the class- but school is easy for me. Would not recommend

The students complaining must have expected to do work at a high school level.This is a college course that is both challenging AND rewarding.This professor expects the same things that employers do in the real world..punctuality, effort, and 2 follow intructions properly.If u can't handle these things then don't take her class.If u can,then enjoy!

I took this class online. She is very precise in what she wants, and made the due dates VERY clear. This is a labor intensive class, so be prepared. I thought she brought a lot of "life" to the online class. I enjoyed the class and learned a lot!

I really enjoyed Professor Doody, she is very smart and fair lady ! all the homework and tests are done online and theres a calendar online with all the assignments due dates for whole semester. If you go to every class and do your work and turn everything in on-time you will have an easy A...!

The class is very EASY. She over complicates her instructions, syllabus, etc... Just get over it. Lectures were off topic a lot. Most of your work is done outside of class online, quizzes & exams are easy but they don't always correspond with what is in the book. and they are done at home, open book open notes, open internet... Over all, EASY A.

A lot of work to do at home. Lots of extra credit offered. The tests are a little hard, they are all "for instances" and make you think. Don't let the first couple of weeks discourage you. The website is confusing. Easy class if you're willing to do the work.

I took this as a summer class online and was surprised as to how easy it was. She will give you A for effort! Lots of extra credit offered and if you work at least a week ahead, you can redo your assignments to get a perfect grade. She also allows essays/quizzes to be taken twice for a better grade! No reason why anyone should get less than an A!!

She gives an A for effort! There is no way you can get a bad grade in this class unless you just do not turn in the assignments. Very nice professor and very lenient as far as grading.

Very cool teacher. Taking her online class is very simple. Just do the weekly assignments and you will do just fine. Only big assignment was a book report other than that she is cool.

Took online. Excellent teacher that makes Psychology both easy and fun to learn. She allows you to get up to 4 weeks ahead at times. 5 online exams (obviously open book,) weekly quizzes, learning discussions that are mostly opinion and LA's (10 questions on reading material.) She drops about 4 quizzes, LDs and LAs making it impossible to fail.

Confusing to navigate ANGEL at first but after a few wks it gets easy. 2 major assignments are the Learning Project which you can do by volunteering or working with your family. And the second is a book review you have to write on a self help book of your choice. only 5 exams and plenty of extra credit chances

Professor Doody was a great teacher. Everything is overwheming at first because of the work load but you will get used to it. I took a 4 wk online course, have a family and work full time. It was a task to complete everything but she works hard to make it as easy on you as possible!

Everything is overwhelming at first, but once you understand the acronyms, it isn't a lot of work. About 3-5 assignments a week, but very short and brief. The reading is a little tedious but really you just have to read the questions and track down what you have to read instead of reading entire document. READ TEXTBOOK FOR TESTS.

Loved her very through and replies rather quickly to emails. Very understanding and willing to work with you.

Sometimes it feels like there's a lot of reading, but honestly if you use her course planning the way she suggests it's a pretty smooth course. I like it because you make the class your own and the assignments are simple yet stimulating. Definitely recommend!

I really enjoyed her course. She gives you so many notes that the book is never nessesary. Lets you see your mistakes on a quiz before you get to re-take it(with the same questions)so it's helpful for figuring out what you did wrong. Her lessons might seem a bit disorganized to some but as soon as you catch on to the rythm of the class its easy.

Really personal class, easy easy! Assignments due Tuesdays and Thursdays, Exams due Sundays. Assignments don't always take a lot of time. She gives plenty of notes I don't think I've used my textbook at all. great communicator and a easy class that you make your own. I learned a lot about myself and psychology.

Lots of reading, can seem like a very heavy workload over the summer if you have other responsibilities, but very engaging, very lovely professor, and she clearly cares about her students. She makes psychology fun!

There are a lot of assignments but most are very brief. Everything is due on Tues or Sun, and I did everything each week during the weekend. Never had to work during the week in this class. Tons of extra credit, and expectations are clear. The syllabusassignments are confusing at first, but you catch on quick and can do most work from her notes.

The assignments in this class are so easy and take me less than 20 minutes to get them done. You are able to retake your quizzes for a higher grade if you got a low score and the same for exams. Honestly this is probably one of the easiest classes I've ever had. There's a lot of homework but honestly its so simple it doesn't even feel like it.

I took PSY101 online 2016 spring semester. At first overwhelming, but I got the hang of it. Assignments & discussions were alot but easy. Get second tries on quizzes. And you can go at your own paste, you could be on week 4 and work past week 6. Its awesome! (: The textbook is alot to read, but interesting.

I took Dr. Doodys class back in Fall 2017. At first, its overwhelming with the amount of discussions and assignments but once you can grasp into it it will easy. Even the tests are kind of tricky, the book and lectures will help you a lot if you read it. Theres a lot of opportunities to improve and you will do read a lot in here but I enjoyed it

I took her for a 4week online class. She has assignments due every day but as long as you turn them in on time you'll do great. Be prepared to stay up late some night. Her assignments are not hard at all, they just have a lot of thinking involved. If you get behind, you stay behind. But don't be afraid. She is amazing and she does care about you!

I would advise against taking her four week class is you work or have other classes. A lot of work, but it is a given with how short the class is. If I could go back, I would have taken a 16 week course. Other than that, very kind professor. Takes a while to respond to emails, but she is very helpful. Assignments are easy, but theres a lot!

I took the 4Week class and yes there are about 4-8 assignments due per day. Not hard, but you do have to make time to read the material. You have 2 attempts on quizzes and exams and she offers extra credit. If you choose the 4Week option, be mindful of the workload. I got an A and learned a lot! Would take again! Dont be scared its a great class.

She was so nice and responded to every email. Lots of homework because I did the 4 week course. It's a little unorganized but the class was good overall!
