she is the most helpful and flexible teacher you can have. she really cares about the students, and what grade they get. she explains everything in ways that you can actually understand, and is never hesitant to answer student questions. i really recommend this teacher if you are trying to get an A. =)

She taught me Algebra in a way that I actually understood, which was a major accomplishment since I have never understood it. Very good at teaching: holding the classes attention, disapating behavior issues, clear explinations, not going too fast for the class, etc. If she taught College Algebra, I'd take her again.

She is an excellent teacher. Never been very good at math but she made it really easy for me. She will answer any hw questions you have until you understand it. I would def love to have her for college algebra. Very helpful.

i really liked her. she explains everything and gives you notes to help explain things. she goes over ANY homework problem and tries to make math easy for all students to understand. kind, patient, and very friendly. i liked her alot and if i had to take math again i would take her class if offered. highly recommend.

I took this class 4 times until I took it with her. She was very helpful, gave good notes, must do homework to stay ahead, SHE is very nice! Take her if you absolutely SUCK in math! I would take her again if I could.

She is an incredible teacher that cares about the subject and the students. She comes to class well prepared and makes sure the students understand the subject. Ask questions and do the homework for extra credit! You'll do well.

Very explanatory if you are bad at math. Do homework,study for tests and quizzes you will do good. Does help you if you need it. Open notes for 2 tests.

I've never had a better teacher in my entire life. It has been 8 years since I've been in school & she made the transition quite wonderful.Not only is she super sweet,she cares,she explains things to where anyone can understand them, she is kind,she is very funny,loud,articulate(loud in a good way)I really couldn't say enough good things about her

My first class back to college in 10 years, and she made it very easy. One thing I highly recommend is TAKE NOTES! She goes through things very quickly, and if you don't take her notes, you will be sorry! Very pleasant - you can tell she enjoys teaching, and has enthusiasm during each class. Highly recommend!

Mrs. Edstom has been my favorite teacher this year. I actually look forward to going to her class. Everyday we begin class with reviewing the homework from the class before and she will answer all questions. Take all the notes she gives. The tests are easy!! She tells you what will be on the test and what won't be on the test.

She likes to help the students, nice person, is a teacher who cares that students understand and learn.

OMG, she is so amazing! its very important to have a teacher as helpful as she is for math. she is always so happy and willing to help. after every test she lets you know where you stand in her class and what grade you could possibly end up with after the final exam. she's very generous with extra credit too! Took this class for developmental math I and II. Great teacher. She is thorough when it comes to explaining and helping you understand the work. Missing a day, will put you back if you don't know the work. She is funny, kind of corny jokes but overall a great teacher. Took her twice and an early morning class at that(7:20am)

I simply cannot say enough GOOD things about Mrs. Edstrom. She is bubbly and energetic, which you need for a 7:30 am class. She is always willing and happy to help if you need it. She is probably the best teacher I have had. I hope I can get her for other math classes. Would HIGHLY recommend her!! :)

Professor Edstrom, is the best Math teacher at Seminole State. Take her class when you have the chance! She's very energetic in the mornings and never loses momentum and it really does make the class that much more fun. We need more Professors like her.

This teacher is great. She really is open and really connects with the students. Also, she tries to help in many other ways like how to remember an equation. This professor really works with how you were taught and learned and doesn't have a set way to do work on every little thing unless its the only way to go. This class is great.

The sweetest most awesome teacher ever! She teaches us like we are kids but that helps us understand it easier. Super easygoing. Will help you if you ask for it. Always keeps office hours open ready to help you (free tutoring). Always has a smile and is very chipper. I like going to class just because of her positive energy and goofy spirit.

I had the opportunity to take Professor Edstrom twice. She is so caring and clear with the material. She is super funny and makes the class very enjoyable. The material itself is your standard math courses. She has a great structure to her syllabus and has reviews before the test and finals. I am planning to take her again for trig.

I did not like the course itself but the professor is my favorite, I have taken her for Algebra and is very helpful and sweet, but the test are a little hard. You must study and stay on top of everything in order to pass.

It's easy to get behind in this class so always show up. As long as you show up to class, take notes and do your homework you can get an A.

Professor Edstrom is upbeat and eager to teach. I found that she was an extremely good teacher, but she went really fast. She expects you to know your stuff from Intermediate Algebra. I'd definitely take her again.

Ms Edstrom was the best!! I loved her, I hated waking up for class so early but she made up for it by making the class fun. She loves what she does and tries her best to make sure everyone understands! She gives lots of homework so you must stay on top of your work, but it definitely helps you in the end

Took this prof. for College Algebra. She clearly explains the material, gives you a study guide before the test and has a review before the test. When she teaches she doesn't go too fast as is more than happy to explain something if you don't understand. Of course, you will have to study on your own and do the homework. Don't need book. I got an A.

Best professor. She is tough but she wants to see you succeed and she makes you feel like she really does care. Math, in any form, is not my strong suit. My last math class was 9 years ago before I took Professor Edstrom's class. She makes it enjoyable.

Profesor Edstrom is a great teacher. She makes her lecture clear and is very patient with students that need a bit more help. Be prepared to take notes because she grades them. She offers extra credit and gives you practice tests through MyMathLab. This was not an easy A but with proper studying, it is very hard to fail. I passed with an A.

The best math professor I have ever had. She uses the final exam to replace your lowest test score. DO THE HOMEWORK. She gives extra assignments to prepare you for the final exam. Some questions come directly from the practice exam. Always in her office offering free tutoring. This is one of the few teachers that really cares and is always helpful

Awesome teacher. I'm a dual enrollment student and struggled a bit with Algebra at my high school. Not in this class though. Concepts were taught in an easy to understand way. Why can't high school teachers teach like this?

if you are not strong in math, this is a good fit for you. she always stops to answer question and i only felt lost if i missed a class. all of the homework is done using my math lab. you will always know when the tests are. she will give a practice one so you know what to expect. I really enjoyed her and appreciate her kindness

Yes, she goes fast. Edstrom is energetic, will assume you understand prior contents, and newer ones as she explains them. She is very expressive and will make a funny face if you don't understand. However, this doesn't mean you shouldn't ask any doubts you have. She will answer them effectively. Not an easy class, but a great teacher. I Recommend.

This woman deserves a ROUND OF APPLAUSE! Her teaching is Outstanding! I love her attitude. She has so much mercy. Make sure that you practice what she shows you in class. You honestly just need the code for her class. Take her for your grade sake. Do your work, Study, and you will pass. No effort then you won't pass.

I really don't know why are there even bad comments on here... For the ones that say she is to fast, you could just say "May you repeat that please?", or "What was that step you said to do again?" Only sad thing is that she only teaches up to Trig and not Calc+. Great teacher. Clearly describes concepts and the reasonings as to why. Homework was on Mathlab. Tests were easy if you understood the concepts. If you need help go to office hours. Very energetic and caring. If all math professors were like her, everyone would love math.

She is overall a really good teacher. Really enjoys teaching and makes the content easy to understand. She cares for her students and you can tell by how she teaches lessons about school and life in general. Her tests are not hard and a lot of your grades are based off homework and you get extra credit so i heavily recommend her class.

Prof. Edstrom is one of the sweetest people ever. She really cares about her students and wants you to succeed. There are 4 tests and she gives you a paper to take home and if you do it she counts it as a quiz grade, she gives you 5 extra points on each test if you do the test review, and hw is on MyMathLab. If you pay attention you'll be fine.

Professor Edstrom is hands down one of the best professors I have ever had. She really goes above and beyond to help you understand the material. Show up to class, do the homework, and go to her zoom meetings. I am taking her next semester and I honestly can not wait!

She's absolutely amazing. I've always struggled with math. Mrs. Edstrom, on the other hand knows how to convey information effectively. She offers various techniques and takes her time to demonstrate her work. She is adamant about asking for assistance if you need it. She responds in a timely fashion.

Before taking her course I always got F's in Math but I passed both courses with an A. I strongly recommend taking her if you struggle with Math.

I am only writing this review to say DO NOT take as a fast pace course (A/B session) it is too fast especially if you aren't the best at math or just getting back in school. Professor Edstrom is a great teacher and very nice and helpful TRULY. Just don't recommend as a fast course. WITHDREW because of it. Do the standard 12 week class!!

I took trig 3 times and I'm so thankful I found her for my 3rd attempt. I went from being clueless on the unit circle to being able to draw it on a blank sheet in just a few minutes. She is there to help. Her student hours are amazing and she WILL sit with you if you are stuck. we as students just have to put in the work too. She is amazing.

I took STA 2023 (was no option for statistics on RMP). Best professor I've ever had at Seminole State. We use StatCrunch for all assignments, so if you understand the software early on, you will do great. She posted a lot of online lectures, and I didn't watch a single one and Aced it. SO MUCH EXTRA CREDIT, super caring, and responds immediately.

Absolutely phenomenal teacher and you don't come around good teachers like her that often. My connection with Mrs. Edstrom was well rounded with jokes, advice, and pure focus on the tasks she assigns me. She posts assignments very early with lots of time to do them but make sure you get them on time because the software she uses has 30% score drop.

I'm incredibly grateful to have had Professor Edstrom! She made math engaging and easy to focus on, which is rare for me. Her teaching was insightful, and she took the time to support each student individually. All of a sudden concepts that i used to find difficult seemed enjoyable.10/10 and highly recommend her to anyone considering this course.
