I had an awesome time taking this class with Professor Baykal. She was always helpful and overall made the class a lot easier. In her class you work at your own pace, she sets the assignment for the day and the faster you complete it, the faster she lets you go home. I definitely recommend taking this class with Professor Baykal.

I took business applications Summer2015. Shes a great communicator & very friendly so don't be afraid to ask questions. Tons of extra credit offered. The class may seem easy but its easy to fall behind. She will work with you but don't take advantage. Everything is spelled out so just read your syllabus, go to class and pay attention.

Took this class over the Summer (5 wk course). Plenty of extra credit was offered. Don't miss class, do the work for a good grade. Learned a lot during these short weeks. Very professional and great teacher!

Nice Professor. Really Helpful. I haven't finished the class, so I don't know my grade. However, I liked her method of teaching. I would definitely take her again if she teaches another class on my way, Nice Homework where you can learn a lot. Only thing, read the text book while doing the homework, there you have all the help needed.

She really responded back to my emails in a very good timely matter. This is important because we don't meet in person only for the final.

I recommend this professor, she gives extra credits and tests are very easy.

Professor Baykal is great I would recommend her to all student who wants to take this class. take her with closed eyes you will never regret it, she gives you extra credit and if your late on the assignment you let her know she understands and let you do the past dues

Great instructor and great refresh on office products.

The professor is good about answering emails quickly and she gives plenty of extra credit. The course material is pretty straight forward. All areas were easy except for Excell. If your terrible with formulas watch out! But, that has nothing to do with the professor.

I took an 8 week course so there was ALOT of work but it wasn't too bad. Everything is online except for the final which must be taken in person. Get ready to work but if you keep up and do the work you will be fine.

Great professor!! She will respond to your emails in a timely manner. She give good feedback. I respect her. She gives clear grading criteria. I will definitely take her again. I feel I worked for my grade I has not attended school in 38 years but, it was worth the hard work for me. I am sure the class is easy if you're familiar with computers.

It was an easy class if you read the book and was super interested in the material. It's a great way to get extra knowledge on using MSO and to put on one's resume. The teacher was fair with the assignments. It was fast paced but just enough work to time ratio to feel confident that I took with me enough knowledge to feel confident at a new job.

She was quick to respond to emails. She was very helpful in the event that you had a question. Really nice smile.

I took her 8 week online 1405 BCIS class. Every couple of days 2 to 3 assignments are due. If you aren't good in general with computer classes it may take a while. The professor was very helpful, understanding, and nice. The only real test is oncampus at the end of the semester and you get 7 attempts for each question.

Professor Baykal is an awesome instructor! She will work with you. Very understanding and proactive. She will tell you which topics are difficult and guide you through struggling assignments. She responds effectively to emails and does her best to make things easy for students. I had a final exam issue and she worked with me. TAKE HER!!!

Professor Baykal is probably one of the few online professors I have ever taken to genuinely seem like she is interested in me and my success. I definitely did not want to take the course (again!), but she was very clear with instructions and expectations - and also provided extra credit! Great professor!

Never met a Prof. that takes out their time to give detailed feedback on projects like she does. It is fast paced, but she makes the requirements very clear. She is a wonderful professor. professor Evrim is the bestest professor in HCC. She will keep you motivated and boost enthusiasm throughout the course. I am glad that I took her class and she really is a genuine person inside and outside and she will encourage you to work well in your class and wants her student to succeed. Also, you will learn a lot in her class. She is AMAZING

Prof. Baykal is alright with me. She is very upbeat and overall cheerful all the time. The class seems like an easy A but it isn't. You have to work for it. You go well beyond the basics of the MS Office Suite. Excel was killer. But if you do all your assignments and score well, you will be fine.

Professor Baykal is great. She gives great weekly updates and rundowns on what is due for the week. She responds very quickly to emails. She is very helpful. Some helpful advice is to stay ahead on assignments so you wont fall behind. Just do the assignments and you should be good.

I liked the class, but it was a lot. This is because it was an 8 week class. So i wished I would've taken it 16 weeks. In addition, this class is not the best pick to get an A if you have a lot going on like myself. The teacher always responds quickly and offers a lot of extra credit. I had to skip the extra credit opportunities.

This teacher is great she makes sure you understand and she does give extra credit she responds fast to emails but if you have the 8 week class it can be a lot of work to do about 3 to 4 assignments due every week.

I took this class online and she gave instructions clearly. It was easy to follow and she replies to the emails quickly. It was nice to learn a lot of new things through this class and I am sure it would help to use the Microsoft applications like word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access a lot better.

Lots of time consuming assignments, but they're pretty simple and you learn a lot if you're not familiar with the software. She's gives really fast feedback and adjusts the assignment due dates depending on how the class is doing. Lots of extra credit opportunities, take advantage! Final is in person, but not too bad, review covers everything.

She really wants her students to learn. It's imperative that you check your class assignments daily. She will post extra credit and hints there. The key is staying on top of your work and you're guaranteed an A. You may need your book to read occasionally but I only used it once.

Professor Baykal was fantastic! Most professors with online classes just post assignments and let the course run itself. Professor Baykal was very attentive to our online class. Checking in several times a week, giving hints to questions that could cause confusion, and offering extra credit. I would highly recommend her.

This is an online class but Professor Baykal is always available, you are never alone! Opportunities for extra credit. The course is heavy, lots to get through, but Professor is very supportive, and made it really easy. I would recommend her 100%. Very friendly, great teacher!

I would definitely recommend taking any of her classes. I took her online BCIS course which is for Microsoft Office programs. She laid the course out very well. It was easy to understand what was expected. She was very reasonable with deadlines giving us plenty of time to complete assignments. She seems very caring and understanding.

Ms. Baykal is a very caring professor. You can tell that by the way she structures her online class. She structures it in a way to guide you through it with ease. She schedules everything with plenty of time to get your assignments done. If she sees that the class is struggling, she'll move deadlines to give you more time and/or allow extra credit.

I took her 8-week class, but the work load was not overwhelming at all. Her assignments had clear instructions. She replied to my emails fairly quickly. She gave feedback on 99% of the work I submitted. She provided us plenty of help, hints, due date extensions, and extra credit. She is a must-take!

This was a tough class, but Prof. Baykal is understanding and gives lots of extensions and extra credit where needed.

This was an 8 week online course(final exam on campus). There's a lot of work (most on MyITLab)!! You will need to spent at least 4 -5 days a week online, just to keep up with the work load. However, this is one of the most informative professors ever. She sends consent emails, and responds to emails quickly. Extra credit is offered. Great teacher

I took the 8 weeks online class. it is a lot of work in short time. a lot of time needed to spend. make sure you don't have many other classes while taking this class. the teacher is nice and reply to emails. most of guidance are in the syllabus including the announcement that the teacher keep posting during the semester.

This teacher is incredibly awesome! I had her for a 8 weeks program. Every section has three attempts and she accepts late work so that gives you more time to bring up your grade! AND she gives you extra credit that is mirrored just like your homework. It's a bit of work so prepare, but you'll definitely learn. One of the best teachers!

Great ONLINE summer class! Just do the assignment on time and you should get an easy A. Every section has three attempts and she accepts late work not that you really needed if you manage your time.

Shes literally the best professor Ive ever had! At the start of the semester she lets you know the assignments due and how your grade is calculated so you can calculate everything yourself. I really enjoyed this professor! She gives great feedback and is great with announcing assignments weekly so that you wont forget. Follow all her instructions on eagle canvas and you will pass. Also, most of your work is on MYITLAB which is also easy and helpful because if you make a mistake you have a chance to go back and fix it.

I took Professor Baykal for her online class. I had a lot of difficulties at the beginning due to my computer nonefficiency, so I used to send her an email every day. Professor Baykal is one of the chillest professors I've had this semester and understands that some of the material is stuff so she gives hints. You basically go at your own pace in the class just meet the due dates. It's not tough though because you have a lot of time to complete the modules. Would definitely take this class again.

In this class, you must read your textbook to find the answers. She does not teach much; however, she will guide you through most of the difficult stuff. Excel is the toughest portion. Lots of homework. Your level of knowledge will increase in the course. TBH, this course should be a core for every student.

Professor Baykal was a really awesome instructor! I was taking 6 classes this semester and BCIS1405 was one of them. This class made it so simple because all the assignments are unlocked and you could really finish the whole course in less than a month and not have to worry about it till final if you are really dedicated! Great teacher! Really outlines everything for you and is very specific with the assignments. Also gives tones of help with homework or MIL assignments. Book but was not needed. Best to just purchased the Pearson MyITLab code since everything is online. MyITLab has great learning aids that teaches you how to do the steps. The professor explains everything clearly. Read the professors instructions as well as the HINTS that she provides and you will be successful. VERY EASY! BEST PROFESSOR!

This professor is amazing. She responds back to all emails and is willing to work with you. Everything is direct. The professor gives easy exams. You are required to use MyITLab when taking this course online, but it gives you an unlimited training and three attempts for passing graders and exams. This course is worth taking. Easy A.

Ms. Baykal is an excellent professor. She well organizes the working path of my class, and gives clear instructions for each work. She explains the course content very straightforward, easily to understand. If you pay attention to her talking and do whatever she says, you will easily get an A. This professor is awesome and is very detail.

Professor Baykal is great. I am in her asynchronous class and I am learning a lot. I actually enjoy doing the assignments and the only way you can fail this class is if you do not do the work at all. She hosts optional meetings to do assignments with her and if you have questions. TAKE HER!!!

Simulation trainings have guided practice and the questions are the same as the simulation exams [homeworks], so no need to read the textbook. The exams are extremely easy because they are the same questions as the reviews/homeworks. the project is straightforward because of the instructions and some of the steps literally tell you what to do.

There are optional meetings every Wednesday in case anyone needs help. Simulation trainings have guided practice and the questions are the same as the simulation exams. There are discussions about what you learned and other topics which is very easy.

hated her simulation exams because it required u to be very specific even if u know the shortcuts. other than that just dont fall behind and you'll be fine.

HCC's BCIS department is in charge of the structure! Do not blame Professor Baykal for the click limit! She does, in a very literal sense, EVERYTHING to make this class easier. Lots of extended deadlines. Unlimited simulations. Accepts late work. If you have to take this class, take her. Do not listen to poor reviews complaining about difficulty.
