She isn't there to help you when you need it. The TA's will be your best friend if you want to pass. Her lectures are just copied and pasted from the book. Very confusing in lectures because she makes tons of mistakes. Expect quiz or exam every Friday, so go to lecture. She likes to have pop quizzes. Very boring and confusing class. Try to switch.

Dr. Stec is not a professor for everyone. If you think you'll struggle in chemistry, I'd suggest taking another professor. However if you know basic chemistry, she teaches quickly and by showing examples, which is how I learn. Show respect in class and she'll be cool as well.

It would be a good idea to know the basics of Chemistry. In other words, if you take her class, you better have taken AP Chemistry in your senior year of high school. It can't be helped that there is a lot of material in CHEM 122, so some lectures are rushed. She's not the best nor the worst instructor for this course. She does a lot of practice questions in class, so attending lectures may help a lot for you. Otherwise, you may find yourself self-teaching this subject.

Professor Stec is not a bad professor, however, she goes incredibly quickly through lectures. Attending lectures is not incredibly helpful, so you basically have to teach yourself the material completely. The two final chapters which make up 70 of 200 points on the exam were gone over in two classes, and are very poorly explained.

Hated her when I took Chem 101, not surprised to feel the same in Chem 122. She has very little empathy towards students who are struggling in her course and the best way to seek support is to visit your TA's office hours. However the content was very similar to Chem 101 and the grade curve at the end of the semester was so low it saved many lives.
