Manages to make the material quite interesting, however, is a pretty tough marker in comparison to most other profs teaching admin 1000--the class average was like a C-.

This course was pretty easy, i dunno if the prof makes a difference.

I like this prof! he teaches to make you learn not leave the class and run! he's slides never passed 30 and we always had a discussion that always got heated! LOL! One thing i remember about him is he loves to use examples so that people can relate to real life! Wicked Professor

Explains theories in a way that is easy to understand. His lectures are not boring and he likes to involve the class in discussion. Tough grader in comparison to other profs though. Overall, I would say that he is a great prof!

Really good prof. lectures based on readings but he does a really good job explaining. I skipped a lot of his classes and still got an A. Exams are easy first one is open book and both only have about 5 "essay" questions, dont worry they arnt actually essay questions. Take this class with him!

Well he is good prof. overall and explains the content really well. But the only bad thing is that the lecture is really long and sometimes u might sleep.

This guy is a great teacher, Though the information isn't always fascinating, He does an amazing job explaining it by providing examples and answering every question. This is what a prof is SUPPOSED to be like. Awesome semester with him.

He's a good very good lecturer, you should attend class as he basically summarizes the book for you (literally). The only problem with this course is that his TAs and himself are nuts compared to the other sections when it comes to marking. Take this course if you want to learn but try and find another professor if you're looking for an A+.

The professor is interesting and knows his material. I've definitely learnt a lot in this class. But the exams are killer, well his grading is. He's very specific in what he's looking for. We can't all think the same. Impossible to get an A in this class.

He is a very good lecturer. He's on point and provides variety of examples and situations. Having said that, it would be helpful to have a recorded/transcribed lecture because providing examples appropriately is an important component of the exam. He's kind of a hard marker especially on the open book midterm, but it's not impossible to get an A!

He is one of the best ADMS 1000 teachers. If u want an A+ it is impossible to get it but if u are a hard worker then u can get an A as I got it. However he is a strict checker and only teaches 1 3/4 hours. He gives good guidance of how to do a exam and encourages questions from the students. I also recommend Karakowsky if u want A+.

He is one of the best profs I've ever had at York. He relates all of the material to real life examples so it is easy to understand. I had never taken a business course before this and i ended up getting an A. You will need to know the text book material pretty well, but his examples make everything easy to understand and relatable.

He is an awesome prof. Take the course with him if you will read the book from cover to cover. His tests are ok. Overall, he rocks!

Awesome prof. Highly recommended. One of the best at York. I got a low grade in the midterm but then I saw him after class. He read my paper again and raised my marks! Very fair marking. Easy A in the final, provided you do the work. If you're taking 1000, GO FOR HIM ONLY!

love him, The manner that he is followed to make all students have a high level of understanding the material. You need to ficus on the class and it is easy to get A. I highly recommend him.

This guy is a genius..makes 9-10 slides and talks for 1.5 hours and yet is extremely clear in concepts..defo recommend him. For exams, focus on questions which have pro's and con's etc and mainly about CSR debate.

LOVED this class, although i had no interest in admin studies.. i really enjoyed his way of teaching. Kept me engaged even even if it was an 8:30am Friday class! Very knowledgeable. Dont really even need the text book. Study the slides and listen in class. AWESOME PROF. fair exam

very good prof. His TA mark very hard so you need to understand key concepts. Whatever the materials he focuses on the lecture is on the exam so be at his lecture. it will reduce a lot of study work(especially final exam week) for the exam later.

THE BEST PROF. EVER!!!!! HE IS EXTREMELY CLEAR AND CONCISE WITH HIS LECTURES. HE USES REAL LIFE EXAMPLES & APPLIES IT TO THE COURSE CONTENT. HE MENTIONED THAT IT WAS UNUSUAL THAT OUR CLASS AVERAGE WAS HIGH. HOWEVER, THERE WAS NOTHING UNUSUAL ABOUT IT BECAUSE STUDENTS DID WELL B.C. HIS LECTURES WERE VERY HELPFUL.

I took the 8am class with him and he always come to class before or after 9 (me too), which is a win-win for everyone. Lectures are interesting, exams are fair, easy if you study! No hardcore memorization, just understand the concepts, know how to apply them and you're good to go! Perfect professor for a foundation course in business.

Hes a really nice guy, makes the course as interesting as it can be and hes some eye candy for the ladies. Hes not"easy" hes a fair marker. I regretting buying the Textbook his notes and slide are good enough and cover all the material needed. Im wish he taught more ADMS courses.

He really knows his stuff. Not only that but he makes his lectures very entertaining and keeps you focused in his lectures. I really recommend you take him. You get good marks in this class not because he makes it easy but because he knows how to teach.

Great prof. midterms weren't easy but they were fair. Seems interested in what he teaches but ,he takes way too long to give your grades back and doesn't seem to like putting extra effort into marking the assignments I honestly don't think he even reads them

I had his class at 8 in the morning, but it was worth getting up for. He engaged students in the lectures and he made them interesting

I had him as a prof twice and it took me a second time to really appreciate his teaching style and actually got me interested in the material. His exams are a lot of writing and barely any multiple choice. Overall a very carefree guy!

Good prof but tough course. I didn't go to class much and mastered the textbook on my own (it is mandatory). Lasry really knows the course but talks about subjects in general, never dwelling into them. Reading each case in the book a few times + going over the slides should get you a C+ if you can apply the case concepts to the exam/midterm.

It is a tough course no matter who you take it with, but lasry is really good. Keeps you interested and is extremely friendly and gives really world examples. His power points are very short (12 slides-3 hour lecture) so you have to go to class and listen to what he says as he doesn't include everything in slides

Very good prof. Class is interesting if you care about the material. So if you pay attention, you definitely learn interesting stuff. His midterm is straight from the book and his slides, no surprises. He does insist you write A LOT though, so analyze the cases to the max when answering his essay questions. Easily got an A with little effort

Lasry is by far one of the best professors at York. He makes class extremely interesting because he always has up to date news related to class discussions and he makes it really easy to pay attention. You can tell he is passionate about what he teaches, and he's good at it. If you attend class and study his material - easy A.

He is a great professor,and he is nice and helpful as well. However,he grades really tough. You need to work really hard and memorize a lot to get decent mark. Both midterm and final are difficult. If you don't care about the grades, just take courses with him and you will learn a lot.

He was very well organized and explained things clearly. He was friendly when I went to office hours to look over my midterm. Some weekly assignments were trickier than others. He had high standards for grading the written assignments, but the feedback was specific and reasonable.

His classes can be tough but I feel if you pay attention during class, remember the examples he uses and make flash cards to help you remember key points then you should be fine. His lectures are amazing, he may be tougher then other profs but he more then makes up for it with his teaching style. Great prof, I'd recommend taking class with him.

This class has a 40% midterm and 60% final. A great prof who will teach you how to think critically and prepare you well for the midterm/final. The class is small and very open to participation, which is your chance to practice analyzing articles for tests. Also very entertaining, and makes class topics very simple, and the test are easy and fair.

Great guy overall

He's a pretty funny guy. There isn't a lot of content for this course and he knows that students don' want to stick around for the whole 3 hours. Weekly assignments are annoying but they are not too bad. He will get into debates with you so if you say something be prepared for a discussion. Kind of reminds me of pastor Dave from that 70s show.

Amazing prof! Weekly assignments are annoying because you aren't sure which ones will be marked until they are, but the group project is very fair, and his tests are as well. He's very nice and makes lectures interesting. People have no reason to complain unless they didn't do the readings or pay attention to his lectures. Adds more info in class.

He posts his lecture notes as soon as the class starts, which is really helpful. He used to get mad when students were late to class so don't be late.

It's not an easy course but the prof is great at explaining concepts very clearly with lots of interesting examples. Do the readings and homework and you'll do well.

Eytan is a great professor, I enjoyed his lectures very much!!!! He knows how to keep his students interested and concentrated during class, and his voice is not monotone which was a nice advantage in an online class :) fair exams, just attend class and follow the slides, do the weekly assignments, and you will be fine.

Probably the most honest and realest prof I've had in both 1010 and 4900 and made lectures interesting. Beware of two group presentations where you have to pick your group in the first class which makes no sense since you don't know anyone. Can be a little cranky. Come into class ten minutes late everytime. Overall cool and understandable guy.

The prof kept his lectures short and sweet, straight to the point. Got out of there within a 80-90 minute timespan, always answered questions and encouraged participation. Definitely a prof I'd take a course with again.

ONE ADVISE: read every single slide for MCQ's, as the MCQ's are 50%, before the final exam he goes over the whole material from day 1, be sure to read the slides of after the midterm, every single slide, read as many times as you can, you will do a lot better in your final. I read that he comes late but in the whole term he was hardly ever late.

He keeps you entertained no chance for falling asleep

The professor keeps the lectures engaging, though sometimes gets sidetracked. Stay focused on the slides - they're key for the exams. Also, Unstuckstudy was a game-changer for test prep.

Prof is not too bad for an intro course. He does go beyond the study material and talk about random stuff. The weekly essays are kinda annoying. Overall, not too bad.
