Guy knows his stuff,& makes class interesting &fun. You'll have to take REALLY good notes cause he don't use the book(don't buy it),but he writes every word on the board. Tests are essay style questions,& must regurgitate your notes exactly word for word.

really nice professor. don't take attendance. no matter wat he will give u atleast c. really cool.just take his note. thats all.

unfair in the exam. took during summer session- only gives one chance and thats it!

take very good notes, he echoes during his lecture so there should be no problem. there was no midterm and only a final bluebook exam. exam essay questions are based on classroom lecture notes-ask questions and participate because he wants that. sit in the front and make sure he knows your name. do not buy the textbook because you will not use it.

just show up to class and take notes. you do not need to purchase the textbook because you won't use it!

type of teacher that want you to jot down everything he says on your notebook.. the thing is everything he says IS ON THE EXAM.. memorize the material and if your ok with a C.. then you good cause everyone in my class jus' seemed to get that grade.

He is cool prof. He doesn't care if you go to his class or not but make sure you show up for midterm and final.

Took this class over the summer. Really nice guy. He is not out to fail anyone. Just take good notes.You will have no problems passing. If you have a problem speak to him and he will try to help you.

One of the best professors i ever had. truly a nice guy. still to this day when i see him he goes out of the way to say hello to me. got a b in both classes and bearly even studied.

He knows economics inside and out. Teaches straight from knowledge. His way of teaching is much more informative and understanding then purchasing another over priced book. PLEASE, a word of warning TAKE EXCELLENT NOTES.... Other than that great professor and class.

this is a great professor i took him over the summer and he is very nice. He makes learning seem fun, and i learned a lot from him i would take him again for another class. One of the nice professors here in njcu.

This is a class that allows the student to take full grasp of the subject matter at hand, and not just teaching you everything by and in the book. Prof. made sure that concept is understood by everyone. Though his method is uncommon, it worked pretty well.

The most precious professor NJCU has. He doesnt leave to desire. He's a real human being. Fair, Easy to understand, Considerate, Knowledgable. Take him!!!!

02/11/06. Simply the Best with a strong source of Genius Power, coupled with the Professional characteristics to enlighten the not so bright student, in addition to the over-achiever. I love this Professor because he really cares and he is always there willing to help students. Thank you God for your servant. You won't regret his lessons.

he is a very smart person..he really knows his subject and gives you very clear notes...even tells u what notes to write and will repeat and answer questions...if you wanna learn take his class and be amazed at his teaching technique...loved him...he is to cute

Prof. Ghebrat is very intelligent, he is one of the best professor at njcu. and he really knows what he is talking about.he is very clear in giving notes and what's gonna be on the test.He will repeat and re-explain until everything is well understood.i strongly suggest him. One of the best proffesor I've ever taken because he is a very intelligent and helpful professor. He explains everything clearly so you are able to get a good grade on his test, as long as you take very good notes and attend class. When you leave the class you are guaranteed to leave with knowlege about the Micro Econmics

I strongly reccomend this professor!! He is very clear,and patient in explainig the material needed to be learned, he is willing to help you learn & understand. Just do what he say's, "you meet him half way and he will take care of the rest." Make sure to take really good notes! you do all this and there is no way you won't pass his class!!!!

omg..he's is a good teacher..but...he gives alot of notes..and for his final..out of all the notes he only gives 3 questions...i hated his class..hes a good teacher but i hate that class.DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS or u will SUFFER

Spring 06. Brillant Professor with Diversified Teaching Methods and I Absolutely loved his class. He provides every opportunity for you to catch-on and I believe that Harvard University has groomed his teaching ability because he is just that good! I have studied Harvard.

Like one of the other comments say anybody is better than taking Steinberg and this professor clearly illustrates economics in a more understandalbe way. There is alot of notes but its well worth it because you learn and get ur money worth. Highly Recommended to take over Steinberg.

An outstanding Professor, because it does not get any better than he. It is easy to understand because he will repeat so that you get the idea. Help? He gives plenty in class. This Prof. made learning enjoyable, as learning comes with ease per his skill at education. I am motivated and ready for Grad. School because of him.

Dr. Ghebrat's class is the best class that i have taken this semester. I am truly going to miss his class. The way he taught all of the students in my economics class was amazing. overall, he is a good professor. He gives u plenty of notes but u have to memorize all of them in order to get a good grade on his exams. He gave everybody a chance to get an A. I really like his class. you have to work hard that's all. i think u have to work hard for every class if u want to get an A.

I have had this professor for a few classes and i think he is great. He gives a lot fo notes, but always repeats to make sure everyone has all the notes written down. As long as you take good notes you will do just fine in his class. He is a very intelligent guy and probably one of the smartest people i know. You should definitely take his class!

You will hardly find a professor like Professor Ghebrat. His method of teaching gives all students the opportunity to get a grade A in class. Just take good notes, understand the material and you will leave his classroom knowing a whole lot, more than when you entered!

shoot, anybody is better than STIENBERG. but for real. he is a wonderful professor. actually wants to see all of his students to succeed and pass the course. although, he gives tons and tons of notes. he doesnt take attendence either. he teaches the same thing over and over each year. u can basically just gets notes from last semester. Good teacher. However teaches students as though they were still in high school with the hold-you-by-the-hand method. That means everything on the test has to be word for word. Not difficult, just plenty to remember.

Ghebret was my favorite professor. He gives plenty of notes that you must memorize but it is comprehensible. If you are lazy and don't want to work hard than I suggest you not take him.

He is not there to Crucify anybody, beleve me. very good teacher gives notes everyday but not alot and very easy.

Learn nothing about economics. No attendance, But if you miss class you will miss notes. Repeats himself every class and goes over the same thing all the time. Exams are straight from his notes. And your grade counts from 2 things, a midterm(40%) and a final(60%). Oh and his notes are all graphs. Everything on the Exams are too. DON'T BUY TEXTBOOK

Dr.Ghebrat is simply the best Economics professor in the university. I love the way he teaches.He really cares about his students and he wants everyone to get an A in the class.He makes economics interesting.He really teaches stuff and makes sure that everyone understands.It was a pleasure to listen to him lecture. This guy needs to retire already! Attendance is mandatory for his notes. You just want to choke yourself bc he's so incredibly boring. A lot of people say he's cool and stuff, but...no, lol. I would rather take Vohra than him. BELIEVE ME.

Professor Ghebrat is commited to the welfare of his students. At the beginning of each class he reviews what was taught previously and makes sure no student is left behind. Attending class is extremely important if you wish to earn an A, however. He is a genius in his field and must-take for anyone considering a career in economics. -- A+

He is a nice funny guy. Do not buy textbook it is not use in his class. You must take a lot of notes which are very important for the two exams. Your grades depend on those two examples and they can be very hard because you have to study a lot of pages. Attendance not mandatory but if you miss class you will miss notes. If you take him just study.

How to get an A in Dr. Ghebrat's class: Commit yourself to show up to every class, take good notes, REVIEW notes outside of class, dont understand last class' notes? Ask him questions as he begins class w. last class' notes anyway. Consistent exposure to notes is key! He wants u to do well. I got an A and I'm no genius. Why can't you?

A great professor that really knows his subject and he is actually very nice and down to earth. He knows how to teach...NJCU should have more professors like him. If you attend every class and take good notes, you will pass the class and get an easy A. His midterm and final are right off your weekly notes. No need to buy the book.

Best Professor at NJCU. TAKE HIM Very Understanding and Patient. Will Work with you if need be. Very Nice, exams are not hard, just require articulation. Makes subject easy with tons of examples. I would def take him again. I got a B on his last class.

this was the best experience for me this semester. he is very helpful and makes everything very easy. you have to study for the midterm and final and if you don't you will end up getting a D. he doesn't really fail anyone unless you put in 0 effort in his class. there is no hw or test. just one final and midterm. He is a fair grader! We did not use a book at all everything was straight from his notes. There are Lots of notes! No papers or homework just a midterm & final. Definitely have to study your notes for those. As long as youre trying he will pass you! BTW if you fool around in class he has no problem calling you out& putting people on the spot.

The best professor I've taken so far. I took him for both Macro and Microeconomics. He is a fair professor as long as you attend class, take notes and study. The exams can be hard if you do not take accurate notes. Overall, Professor Ghebrat is an excellent instructor.

Great class! Take all your notes and you will be fine. He counts attendance as a major part of the grade, so please assist every class as it is also really helpful in course content. Easy-going and friendly professor, has a sense of humor. All you take is a mid-term, and final. No homework, no quizzes, no presentations. Definitely recommend it :)

He is very good when it comes to teaching, and finals are easy to pass when you pay attention to him
