Ferreira is the nicest, kindest, and best Spanish Prof at Oakland! Also a very generous grader, lots of VERY high grades in the class! 5 Star quality, recommend to all!

Very good teacher, especially since I had four years of Spanish in high school. So this post will not really represent what this teacher really might be like. But seriously, if you have any likeness of a brain in your skull, I don't think it's possible to get any less than a 3.5 in this class.

Great teacher! She explains everything and her tests are easy. Definitely a class to take to get a good grade in. She does have hw due but it takes little amount of effort and time. If u put a small amount of effort into this class then you'll manage.

It's all been said already. She may be the best profesor at OU. This class is simple and she makes it really easy if you go to class. If you don't go to class, it would still be easy. If you took high school spanish you should get an A, without much effort at all.

This is the easiest class I ever took in my life except for gym. I have a 4.0 in this class. There is not a lot of homework only the workbook. That and the tests are the only grades but she gives you the answers if you pay enough attention. Her Venezuela stories are fun to listen to. Toma esta clase porque es muy facil y divertido.

Fun class, very intresting, but too easy. Would not recommend her for Spanish majors. You didn't have to learn the material to do well. And the class didnt prepare you for the departments final. But I would take her again

LOVE her... honestly, if I needed another language class, I would take spanish just to have her as my professor again. Never a dull moment; she is so funny and cute, and I feel like I learned a lot without doing a lot of work. Take her, you won't regret it.

Esta clase es papaya! She's a sweetheart and a native speaker so she can tell you things the textbook can't. Her stories of life in Venezuela are great and she's a great person. The class was a breeze and fun to go to. Take this professor even if you're not going to learn Spanish

FATIMA is by far the funniest lady... she is so down to earth and goofy. the class goes by fast, she gives extra credit pts with games that are fun. she is prepared and tests are really easy and barely no hw. Easy A if you come to class and particapate once in a while.. i would take her for ne other class if shes teaching it.

4 point. Barely went to class. Rambles off about stuff, but is very very nice. Also, did an open book test... IN GROUPS. Perfect for a req. fill. Take her, take her, take her - but only if you don't need to go onto higher spanish - she doesn't make you speak, and doesn't stress the importance.

Attendance is not mandatory but she will help your grade in then end if you have been there a lot. I had high school spanish 2 which helps but i still think it would have been easy. she explains well and reviews everything on the tests. You must do hw from a booklet but u turn it in before every test. She's a fun teacher and likes to chat.

I have struggled with Spanish my enite life but she made this class much better than other professors. she is funny and fair. Sometimes she let us use notes on quizzes, she also dropped our lowest quiz grade. Take her!

I took this class in the summer and it was the best thing i ever did. i got a 4.0 without even trying. u honestly have to be an idiot to not get an a. so much extra credit and just soo easy. she was also very nice.

FATIMA IS AN AWESOME TEACHER! got an A just for turning in homework! test are hard, but she really wants everyone to pass! but caution...turn off cell, or put it on vibrate! she will yell at you! and keep texting to a minimum, she'll yell at you for that too!

Wonderful professor!Was able to create great class chemistry, which I find to be a rarity. Exams are a breeze if you put in the time. She is very nice to everyone, and will explain something for you many times to make sure you comprehend the material. If you take this class make sure it is with her! I hope she teaches for another thousand years.

I'd also like to add to my previous rating that if you plan on continuing the language she will probably be too easy on your class. She is awesome!!! BUT doesn't make you "sweat" and work super hard in order to ingrain Spanish into your brain. Maybe it was 114 in general, but I thought she babied our class too much.

She is an amazing teacher and I'm sure my entire class would say the same thing. She is a native speaker and breaks down the language in a way that is very understandable. I was upset she wasn't teaching SPN 115. I can't wait to take her for SPN 215!

She is a fantastic teacher. Has a great sense of humor. She is very fair in grading. Most of your grade is based on quizzes and attendance- which is expected in a language class. I plan on taking her for SPN 115 as well! Take her, you won't regret it.

She was really nice and very laid back. Her class was incredibly easy, but I would be reluctant to take her if I needed SPN 115. I don't feel like I learned a lot, but it's an easy 4.0. She did not give tests, but 2 quizzes a week. She tells you everything to study. Definitely take her for your language requirement.

I had this teacher last year,for SPN 114 as well as this year, SPN 115. I got a 4.0 last semester (Winter 2010). She gives extra credit on every test & drops your lowest test score. One quiz per chapter & cumulative final. Super easy. She's super nice and funny. TAKE THIS CLASS! Didn't require listening portions.

So nice and funny! Don't be afraid to ask her questions if you don't understand something because she's very nice and willing to help. Make sure you go to class and you won't have any problems. Really easy class. Class usually takes advantage of her because she's so nice, so if you want to seriously learn spanish take a different professor.

She is an amazing teacher. She tells you everything that is going to be on the test. She is super nice. It's an easy A, but she makes spanish fun! If you don't feel like buying the student manual then you don't have to, she will let you make copies of hers or she will make you copies herself.

Hands down the best Spanish professor. She's funny, and she actually teaches. She prepares you for the test. If you go to class and you study what she tells you to study, you can't get a bad grade in the class!

She explains everything that's going to be on the exams the class before, which was helpful. There's always a writing portion at the end of the exam, but she has you pre-write the paragraph in class before the exam and corrects it for you to make sure you get the points for that part. Will answer any questions you have during the exam. She's great!

She's a great teacher, she makes sure that you know everything in the book and she goes through everything and has speaking exercises everyday. We had online homework that was due before we went over it in class, that was a little annoying. I would deff recommend her.

Fatima is the best professor you can take for SPN! She is the cutest lady and she makes everything clear cut. She tells you exactly what to expect for the test so there isn't really a way to not do well in the class. There are online connect assignments, but she has nothing to do with them so don't expect her help there, but they're easy. TAKE HER!

It is very hard not to pass her class because she tells you exactly what you need to know before every exam. Exams are so simple because of it. Get ready to participate because it's essential. There's a simple group project in the end.

Ferreira is amazing! I took her for SPN 1150 and got a 4.0! Tells you everything you need to know for each exam and even gives examples. She also offered a lot of extra credit opportunities. The class is a 99% to get a 4.0, but with her, a 4.0 can be achieved! Just study exactly what she says for the exams, show up to class, youll 4.0! :)
