Dr. B is the coolest. He is fair and doesn't make being liberal a requirement to pass his class. I wouldn't call him a conservative, but he is not a bleeding heart liberal like many college professors I have had. Taking his class is a positive decision.

Only because his work was understandable and exciting to learn, he is really funny and he is relaxed..he's not soo uptight...I would take his class again if I wasnt at the UC..If you want an A..Dr B!

EXCELLENT! I love his British accent, he's witty and he is very charming and funny. I'm not political, I took the class because it's required, but he made the class interesting. I HIGHLY recommend his FRI TV course. 1 Fri per month, 6-9, 1 book report, 1 mid & final. He gives u the test questions in advance!! TAKE HIM!

Dr. B is a fantastic teacher! He's not clearly left or right but lets you decide for yourself. His understanding of political science is much better than the UC profs I've had. Take his classes and learn to love learning.

Mr. Biancardi is a great professor. Taking the TV course was super easy. Class is once a month on Fridays. One midterm, a book review, and final. Easy A if u work hard.

I took this class online this summer and found the discussions to be thorough and very instructive. Dr. B really knows what he's talking about and his feedback is detailed and always helpful. the text was also very interesting and fair. This was a great experience for me. I learned more than I could imagine possible.

Professor Biancardi is confident, and hot because he's just that incredibly brilliant. Only four assignments in the course, he's very open and unbiased. He gives great lectures, and if you pay attention you'll do well, but really you should only take this class if you're actually interested in politics. If not, you might be bored out of your mind.

i did not want to take this class because i hate politics but this professor really made it interesting. i'm so glad i took him! he really knows his stuff and is always willing to help you with any questions or trouble you are having with the class. make sure you take really good notes as his exams are mainly on the lectures.

One of the funniest professors I have ever had. Although the subject I took wasn't the most interesting he related to a lot of real world situations and put things in perspective for you. Cusses a lot which kept me laughing a lot. If you are going to take Politics, you have to take his classes.

I went to this class not knowing anything about politics and left this class without knowing anything about politics. Dr. Biancardi really knows the subject well, but i think he expects everyone to already know what he is talking about. He has a lot of assignments due at the end of the class. So if you want a good grade i suggest you start early.

He knows his stuff really well. He explains the reality of politics in a way that you understand it. He isn't afraid to say it like it is..really cool professor. A LOT of writing in this class so be prepared. Overall, study the powerpoint and the textbook and know all the concepts. It's an easy class but the assignments are time-consuming.

Dr.B is so funny! his class is also easy. once a week just lectures. The time goes by fast because he's so funny! you have two tests and a paper that's it.

I found dr. Biancardi to be really hard but I worked really hard and got an A. The class requires a lot of Reading and writing. He is quite Liberal by the way, but he tries to be fair to students who are not.

Midterm & Final u have to write 3 essays. You have a 2500 book review and you write a 1pg summary on 8 articles he gives u which are a couple pgs long. for class everyone does 1 article presentation which is the easiest part of the class. Teacher is good but you need to read the text in order to fully understand. Class is a lot of work must keep up

BEST class EVER--Dr. B rocks--It won't matter if you don't agree with him, what does matter is that you have an intelligent argument for NOT, he WILL challenge you. Dr. B's classes are the best! He loves his subject and works really hard to help students. Some are beyond help with stupid conspiracies like Obama is not a US citizen or global warming is a hoax. If you're smart and like intelligent but hard classes, he's the one to take! If you like Glenn beck and other stupid political jokes, you better not.

Had Dr. B for online summer class and he was extremely challenging but really great. We had tons of reading and writing but it was well worth it in the end. I learned sooo much! Too many idiots in the course with stupid ideas about our country but Dr. B was very gentle. I would have been much harsher! Would love to have him in a face to face class.

Dr. B is amazing. I am laughing at the notion that anyone would sue him. If he claimed you were plagiarizing, you likely were. It is not his fault you are stupid. Rock on, Dr. B!

Dr. B is a great teacher! My only difficulty with this class was the 2 sources of material class lecture did not cover the book. I liked how the exams were not mult. choice because he provided feedback on all papers, plus it shows you actually understand the material. Great discussions in class!

Dr. Biancardi was a tremendous teacher who challenged you, taught you and gave you feed back. I appreciate his efforts and wish I had more classes with him. If you didn't pass it isn't his fault that you didn't do the work.

People that say that he is too hard just simply don't have the capacity to actually learn or to take a critic. I have to really commend him on actually knowing the material and being a challenge. All it takes is effort. If youre lazy and want an easy A, don't take him. If you genuinely want to learn and make the most out of school, take him.

Do all assignments way before they are due. Midterms and final require a lot of dedicated studying!

He is an excellent professor that is socially and politically conscious. you may not always agree and he will challenge you. However you will leave prepared and ready for whats next. On this campus steer clear of sheila pisa she is the definition of what is wrong with America.

This was a class that had a difficult subject matter. His class is set up pretty easy. Just take notes, bring in a event in current news. The midterm and final can be difficult, Its all short answers and you just have to basically write a mini essay for your test. Oh final paper was 4 pages single spaced. Literally the hardest thing I ever wrote.

Took this class for the winter session. Dr. B is a great professor, but he wants you to agree with his views on issues and if you don't...He will shoot you down! Mid term and Final were fair and the discussion board interaction was high. I don't recommend taking this class unless you have at least Eng 1A. Also, Sociology 1 is very similar

Excellent politics professor. Politics is a requirement if you want to get your degree it's good to take it with him. Challenging but do able work and tests your knowledge. His political views are always extremely well backed up. Don't see a reason why you'll disagree unless you're a die hard republican or something. 11/10 will politics again.

I took a Hybrid Course. He was a great teacher at lecture,didn't have much work. Very critical on his essay exams. No multiple choice tests. I am not a fan of politics at all so this class was a little difficult for me. DO THE MULTIMEDIA ASSIGNMENTS GRADUALLY. DO NOT WAIT FOR THE LAST MINUTE!

This was one of the most difficult classes at MVC especially because I took it during winter. We had papers due every week, he was not an easy grader either. But he always wrote comments to clarify what he wanted in the certain assignments. Take him if you are willing to be challenged:) You will not be disappointed!

Took this during summer session. Hard class!Professor is biased, if he does not agree with your view he will let all know. This class had a lot writing all assignments equaled 14 pages, single spaced, 12 font. Grade rests heavily on critical thinking in essays . Quiz's are supposed to count toward extra credit, but did not seem to count at all. I

Professor Biancardi makes class very interesting with his lectures. He also encourages students to participate in politics. But he is not shy about his opinions, so if that bothers you maybe take someone else. The class does involve a lot of writing even for the midtermfinal

I just finished taking the course online for the winter interval. I'm not really into politics but I still got a great grade. There is a lot of reading and writing (single spaced. There were four or five multimedia summaryreflection papers, a four page essay, then the midterm and the final that both contained three essay questions.

I thought Dr. B was a great teacher and was helpful when asked for it. He made sure that everyone understood what he was asking of the students and to ask questions if you didn't know something. He is passionate in his subject and encourages others to get involved. Be prepared to stand up in front of class to give your media report.

Dr. B's class was very informative and I learned a little bit more in politics. Politics is not my favorite subject but he made it interesting enough. Be prepared to write an essay (single space). A lot of reading and writing. His lectures on Power Point so you can get info from there as well.

Definitely a challenging class, and he is quite opinionated. However, I learned a lot and enjoyed his lectures. One disadvantage to his class is that he doesn't post grades so basically you're in limbo about how you're doing in his class till you receive your grade at the end of the semester aside from your midterm grade.

I took him for Spring semester. The only big tests there would be is midterms and finals. He assigns an essay and multimedia assignments so make sure you put your all in the stuff he does assign. Mr. Biancardi is a really great teacher. If you want feedback he'll give it to you. I

Dr. Biancardi made boring material bearable and not too difficult to pass. There's not a lot of assignments but each paper is single spaced. There's no exams just papers for assignments, midterm, and final. The book is not too heavy so it is easy to follow along. There aren't many points in the class so try not to miss any work!

Professor Biancardi is really cool. He gives amazing feedback and lives debates about social issues. He also like when you disagree with him because it opens up more discussions.

Since this was a hybrid class, most of the work is reading and essays. He says whatever is in his mind and won't pass you if you don't participate in essays and discussions.

Had him for American Politics (POL 1) and he is a wonderful teacher. I took it as a hybrid, but this wasn't all too bad. His viewpoint tends towards a democratic and liberal perspective, but he loves a good debate. His cultural background also makes his insights interesting. Definitely suggest having him as a professor.

Hes a good professor, very upfront with whats expected of his class and makes the subjects understandable. Participation matters for points in class and also in blackboard discussions, his essays are easy as long as you present good arguments of your perspective. Overall good professor

Professor Biancardi is a very knowledgeable professor who leans center of left. He is open to debate, but if you're a conservative I highly suggest you support your arguments with academic facts from reputable sources (not Fox, Brietbart) or you will be embarrassed. He has a PhD and knows his stuff. Major exams consist of 3 essays. Piece of cake.

Dr. B is a great professor, he took something that is boring and made it fun. However, this is not an easy A class you will work for the grade you get. All of the assignments are due at the end of the semester with the exception of the midterm so you could get behind if you're not careful.

Hes a solid teacher. Liberal. He knows his stuff. His grading is clear and answers your question about grades. For test, make sure you go in detail and expand. It was a fair class.

He's a pretty easy prof. Only 100 points for the semester, not a lot of room to screw up. Gave us 3% extra credit for volunteer work, and dropped our lowest grade at the semester. Plenty of time to do all the work. Only one essay, which is the final. Gave us all the test questions before the mid/final.

Professor Biancardi will make you work for your grade. Midterm and final make up the bulk of your grade so do not mess those up or your grade will not recover. He's a hard grader I was never able to get full points on the multimedia assignments. He does outline what he wants do the quizzes because the multiple choice on the test ae based on them.

Very passionate about politics and it really shows during lectures. Final and midterm are the bulk of the grade along with multi-medias. Exams are very simple and easy if you study. Writing portion of exams are more difficult. Requires lots of details and examples. Great teacher! I would take again.

His political stances are made very clear. His assignments are very clear. His teaching style for Poli Sci 1 was very different than the other 2 times I took it w/others. He focused on what I believe upper division instructors might and leaves you to study American Government on your own via the online textbook he provides. He teaches more theory.

Took POL1 with Prof Biancardi and was very satisfied with his lectures and material. Easy to pass if you review and read(free online) along with participation. His paper assignments are interesting with fair grading.

I notice a lot of conservatives have a lot of heat towards this intelligent professor. Maybe POL1 didn't work for them like it SHOULD HAVE, how sad. Very interesting class and gained a lot of knowledge with his material.

Best teacher at MVC! His lectures are great, hes very clear and loves to go in depth. Theres only few assignments due, as long as you follow his study guide for the tests its a great class

Mr B is awesome. Please dont wear a red hat, he will think its one of those hats. He makes you work for your grade, but he is great! Do the discussions online! VERY IMPORTANT! Study! Theres two test; midterm and final, which has 50 multiple choice (he gives you the answer the class before the test) and there is two essays, but tells you 4 topics

Biancardi was a fairly easy teacher. Quiz were easy if you study. We had 1-2 page paper summary due every other week that was based on an article or video. Discussion participation is key. Post one article, and respond to Atleast 15 other discussions. If you stay active on discussion, he rounds your grade if you are close to a higher letter grade.

professor Biancardi is amazing. you have to participate in the discussion boards, the book is mandatory since the quizzes come directly from there, but the book is free online so don't buy it. you do have 3 multimedia assignments, but they aren't that hard.

He's a great and understanding professor. There are not very assignments throughout the semester, but you must do all of them if you want to pass. You will need the book but there is a free version online so do not pay for it!!

He was a good professor when I took him in January 2021 for the winter term. I do have one complaint about him. He was heavily biased towards the conservative side and showed his liberal side too much. As long as you study and watch his lectures and videos for the assignments then you be good to go. I got an easy a in his class.

Easy class!!! Read a chapter a week and that is basically all. There is three simple one page responses and 2-3 tests throughout the entire semester. Honestly one of the easiest classes taken. He is very intelligent and keeps you updated on current events.

This class was very enjoyable and while the lectures were prerecorded, it had tons of good information. We had to post an article with a summary and our thoughts once, then every week we had to respond to 2 other students' posts for participation. Professor Biancardi has a lot of knowledge of his topic. You will have three essays throughout the course, which for me was not much, they all are just one page, so it is possible to do. You will have to take a quiz every week and read the textbook online, but the class is easy, and all of the information is given to you, so you will pass for sure.

I took his fast-paced class, and it was manageable. He is VERY blunt and open about his liberal agenda. With that being said, if that is going to be an issue for you- maybe find another prof. You must create one post about a news article and present it (just one) , make 2 discussion replies per week,1 quiz per week, and final essay. easy peasy.

One of the best teachers I have ever had in my academic career. I took his late start class and although that meant deadlines were faster, everything moved in a rhythm and can get easily used to. One of the most passionate and funniest teachers I have ever had. I think this was his last year but if not you must take him for your politics class.

Really easy class, the homework was easy too. I only took this class for the credits but I did learn a lot about politics and what is going on in the world. You do have to do a presentation about any current event in the world but it was easy too. Recommend his class.
