Fadi was awesome... he was an amazing teacher who truly had a passion for math. He did great at the upper division levels, but I dont know about the lower classes.

He focuses a lot on the Mechanics of the math you're studying, which is essential to doing the homework. If you are not shy and ask for help on homework problems you will do fine in class as he is not judgmental. Do your homework, ask questions, take notes and he will make sure you pass. He is generous with partial credit on exams.

Fadi is a great teacher for studants who learn from the instructor not the textbook. The best on campous just ask tutors in the learning center. Three test, drops your lowest score, then a final. He goes over everything in great detail and is always open for questions. For calculus students I sugest no substitutions for this instructor.

this teacher is great he never collected the assinments and had 11 questions on his test each worth 10 points, the whole test was out of 100 pts there for you can get extra credit on all of the tests and he drops your lowest score. He is very helpful when it comes to the assinments.

This teacher was very helpful. HW is not collected. There are 4 tests and a final. He will drop the lowest test grade not inc the final. His lectures are very helpful and easy to understand. The only thing is do not talk in the middle of lecture - HE WILL YELL AT YOU! Just a warning :-)

I NEVER thought I would EVER under Algebra until I met Prof. Nasr! He's made me actually like math! I've made sure I attended each and every class and applied myself to Math 90 and 96 and I've gotten A's on every test! He is God's gift to math for old ladies!!

Very good teacher, but tests are very hard. Most of the time we had a 30% or so passing rate for the class for each test. No homework due, he just gives you stuff to study. Make sure you study all of the very hard stuff though, cause you will need to be very very good at everything to get a good grade on the exams.

i took Nasr for math 96 i hated math before i got to his class and now i cant wait to take another math class. he is extremely helpful because he does not move on to the next material until everyone understands it. but this can get annoying to since theres always THOSE students. doesnt collect hw but its in your best interest to do it. Teacher is extremely helpful. He will answers all of your questions. I was impatient with him helping everyone when we should have been taking notes instead. We fell behind and did not finish all of the chapters he planned. Tests are extremely hard. Half of his class dropped. If you know what youre doing then youll be fine. do not ditch any classes

The best teacher I've ever had in my life. He teaches math step by step in a nice pace and he will happily repeat the step even if it take the entire class to do so. He even does free personal tutoring in his office even though he has a tight schedule. Very helpful and determined to make the students pass. highly recommended!

I took Fadi for my math 96 class and got an A, however, his Math 105 class was alot harder because he expects you to preform at college level. No homework to turn in, just take notes and ask Q's, also, practice alot so you are prepared, good idea to attend class. Best math teacher I have ever had! :D

Best professor ive ever had by far! Took him for math 90 & 96, passed both with an A! No homework is collected, 3 exams with a final and he lets you drop the lowest score besides the final. Attendance isnt mandatory but if you want a good grade make sure you show up to take notes and study before the exams and its a definite pass!

Fadi was great- He was always in a good mood and would NOT move on until everybody understood the material! Easy grading system: 3 tests, 1 final. Lowest test is dropped. Its easy to figure out what grades you need in order to achieve the grade you want. Not an easy class if you're taking higher-end math classes. Will take again for MATH 212!

SUPER easy class. Honestly didn't even have to try. You don't have to turn in your homework, but it's suggested you do it for practice. It's not a lot anyways. Tests are easy as well.

Great teacher. He never gets weary or aggravated with students questions and always stops and ask the students whether or not they understood what was just demonstrated. He is kind and toward his students and knows his material like the the back of his hand. I'm sorry I did not have him for all my previous math courses.

Attendance is not mandatory but you miss a lot if you don't come to class. Assigns homework but he doesn't collect it which is nice. There are three tests and a final, 100 points each but he drops your lowest test score so the class is out of 300 points. Really good teacher and pretty easy class. In my opinion, easy A. He is easy going and makes sure everyone understands before he moves on. Tests are easy and homework doesn't need to be turned in but if you dont do it or miss too many classes you may fall behind. Very clear on what is expected and how to do the problems! Before this class I was horrible at math, but he actually made it understandable! Only grades on tests, and the lowest one is dropped (so that leaves 2 tests and the final). So make sure to pay attention and practice the problems from the book!

One of the best at the Menifee campus. He will take multiple days to cover a section, to ensure everyone understands. Only gives 3 exams, will drop the lowest, so final grade is based on 2 tests and the final. HIGHLY RECOMMEND TAKING HIM! (short on money? textbook only used for homework, so you can use the copy at the library)

easier teacher for math 96 than other teachers. yes iv taken 96 3 times. this teacher has easier homework, 11 question tests, does a lot of examples! most importantly he doesn't do every section in the book. he does whats required unlike other teachers who teach every chapter which is just more to learn and get confused on. Fadi Nasr took over for M. Beckham half way through the class and didn't miss a beat. Beckham was promoted to dean of math department and he was a student of Nasr's so their teaching styles were very similar. Very helpful and willing to give extra time to help out if you need it.

Fadi Nasr is a wonderful math teacher. He makes calculus easy to understand and somehow makes it enjoyable. He is very easy to get along with, and whenever there is a question he takes the time to answer it fully and to make sure you understand the answer given. Nasr took over for the original professor when the original professor was placed into another position. Nasr had big shoes to fill and filled them well. He was an amazing professor. I have never enjoyed math, however, I am looking forward to this next semester with Nasr.

What a nice, caring, helpful math teacher! It's hard to find a really good math teacher who explains his work so detailed to where you understand math besides just doing it. This dude's a rockstar. I had him for Calc 1 and 2. He drops the lowest of 3 tests and the final you can not drop. Clear lectures, no BS in the lecture, only teaches what you need for test and gives a review that is basically the test. He cancels class often and ends early. If the class asks him a favor, he will listen and meet you halfway. 10/10

I plan on taking all my math classes with him. He understands math clearly and can break it down so anyone can understand it. Hes the first math teacher I like. By far my favorite instructor I have ever had all throughout my school experience. He made Pre-cal seem like it was elementary math! He explains everything and will even explain why as well as connect math to real life. Go to class, study and you will get an A! He is such a wonderful professor as well as a great person! Hope to take him again!!

His grading is very clear. His lectures are very thorough. He assigns homework but does not collect it. Your grade is completely based on tests. He does thorough review before tests. Great structure in the class. Great class. I wish his class fit my next semester schedule.

Fadi Nasr simplified everything. The homework is optional. There are a total of four exams including the final. Each exam was comprised of eleven questions, including an extra credit question, each worth ten points for a total of 110 points. The exams were way too easy and unchallenging. Wish the extra credit questions were more difficult.

This was a great class! He has 3 tests and the final. Each text you can get up to 10 points of extra credit. He simplified every lesson very well. He didn't track attendance but you should definitely show up for the lectures. Doesn't grade homework, he just considers it practice. Would definitely want him as a professor again!

This professor is amazing! He will really take the time to explain something to you over and over until you understand it (especially outside of class) and genuinely enjoys it. He only did 4 grades for the whole semester both times I took him and each test was only 9-11 questions. He is very lenient on grading and is very kind and funny.

I really love this professor I wish i take with him all my math classes. so far he is the best teacher I've ever seen for math lecture. I'll recommend him soooo bad go for it.

This professor is amazing!! He gives homework weekly that you dont have to turn in. The grades are determined by three tests. But if you do the homework and read his notes, this class is easy to pass. He is also very caring and is willing to help you with any problems.

This class was very straightforward. Buy the textbook do the homework assignments and take the test. He doesn't grade the homework but the test grade is your overall grade. Work hard and study to understand the work find tutors or online videos to understand. Overall was fun and learned new things.

I rated this professor as fine because he wasn't really there. If you like a quite and get-to-the-point type of professor, he would be your guy. The class was very easy to pass but the notes that he gave were a bit confusing. The homework that he gave was optional and you didn't have to turn it in!All in all, just do the light work and you'll pass.

Very user friendly as I completed the note taking via the canvas app on my iPhone and he would make time to respond to my questions via canvas before expected also :-j

Professor Nasr is always available to help. Responds very quickly. you have to buy the text book and do homework but you are not required to turn it in. you have 2 test and a final. Don't worry the questions in the test are not overwhelming in amount or difficulty.

Professor Nasir is the BEST!!! I took his math140 class and it was the best decision. There were no tests or midterms and no homework, but the class was graded by a small quiz at the end of every class. It was very easy and non-time consuming, but still taught me the material within the class meeting window. 100000/10 suggest this teacher!

Im taking this class in person and he is by far my favorite professor. He is always in a friendly mood and no matter how silly a question you might ask he always explains it thoroughly and makes sure you understand. 10/10 reccomend taking this class

He makes this course easy to pass with an A as long as you do well on the three tests that he gives you throughout the semester. There is homework but he doesn't want you to turn it in. He is very chill and nice.

Overall great class it's up to you for YOUR success. No homework to submit. Only thing that's graded is the tests. Easy laid back class. Will be taking for Math 212.

Professor Nasr is excellent. I struggle with math and he explains algebraic concepts clearly, and is willing to discuss further if needed. He does not take attendance or collect homework, and his notes are always posted on Canvas. Pay attention, take notes, and ask questions: you should pass no problem.

I took this course over the summer online and it was very simple! Professor Nasr made it easy in just a few short weeks! No homework is required, there are 3 tests throughout the semester and he drops the lowest test grade if you do better on the final! I would definitely take another math class of his again!

Professor Nasr class is exactly what I needed for my busy schedule. I appreciate his feedback on my quizzes and appreciate him knowing that most students are juggling work and school. Amazing Professor, I would definitely take more classes with him.

Over all, he is a good professor. His teaching of the subject was understandable, and the tests were short and take home. The only issues were class was often cut short and he was sometimes a bit confusing in the emails. Other than that I would recommend this class, there's no way anyone wouldn't pass.

This was the easiest college class I've ever taken. The class consisted of notes and a group discussion after lecture, that a lot of people did not go to. The Professor is nice and easy going! All 3 tests are take home, and there's homework but it doesn't get submitted. Text book is optional to buy. Take this class!

attendance not mandatory, lecture not mandatory, notes posted weekly, gone over in the lecture, only 3 tests but your grade is 100% test based. You don't need to buy the textbook he posts the homework problems in canvas and homework isn't mandatory either, not even for credit.

100% take this professor if you can. Show up to every class. He has clear easy to read notes on the board. Write those down and you'll get 100% on each test without having to even practice with homework. Homework is optional and homework answers are posted online. Use the homework answers and your notes to take the tests and you'll pass.

Professor Nasr was a great Teacher! He provided a curriculum that was perfect for the busy lifestyle, I live. There were four exams that needed to be emailed to him to be graded and the others were test to review during the course. Wish he taught more classes!

He is one of the best teachers I ever had he explains everything and he's reassuring to the students and he answers your questions thoroughly. He is super nice and his work is easy to understand. His class was the best I can't wait to re take him for calculus 1 super excited. I definitely recommend him.

Amazing professor. If anyone needs to take college algebra do it through him! I have never had a math teacher who explains it in such an easy and understandable way. He is phenomenal and his class is incredibly easy as well. If you're thinking about taking him, do it immediately!

Professor Nasr is very patient he will stop and listen to your questions, he understands exactly what it is you are missing or not understanding in the formula and explains it until you understand how to do the problem. You can tell Professor Nasr just doesn't teach math he actually has a true passion for math and it shows in his teaching style!

Definitely recommend taking this course. Was nervous on taking the course since Math isn't my strongest subject. He'll replace the lowest test grade with the final exam grade. No need to turn in homework since it's not graded but is helpful since it will help with the 2 tests and the final exam with the notes posted weekly. Passed with an A!!

This class was difficult for me because it's essentially self-taught, but Professor Nasr was lenient with the grading. No HW due just 3 short tests. If you are ok with teaching yourself, I'd recommend this class for you.

Professor Nasr's MATH105 class is a great option if you're willing to put in the work. While the material can be challenging, his clear explanations and optional homework really help. For extra study support, tools like unstuck AI were a game-changer. Overall, a rewarding experience.

I would 100% take him again, very kind and only grades you on three 5-question tests that he has you take at home. All tests are open-notebook and he gives you about 4 days to take the test and over a week for the final. Attendance isn't mandatory but going to class really helps. I only really had to teach myself once (the day that I was absent).

Mr. Nasr was a very nice teacher and an essay grader, but the entire grade was only based on 3 grades, Test 1, Test 2, and Final exam. You have to have a lot of discipline because all of the work in his class, you have to do by yourself. Overall he was kind and I would take him again.

Very nice professor and easy grader ! Attendance is not mandatory. He does give homework but it's not for a grade. Do it anyways ! IT REALLY HELPS. All tests (only 2) and final are only 5 questions and he gives you about 5 days to work on it. Good notes but you kinda do have to teach yourself everything. (super easy tho) I would def take him again!

This professor is caring and kind and he does care about his students and you don't really need to do your homework on online. But it will be graded only discussions and 2 tests and 1 final exam. But do 5 days before due date because he does not accept late work for exams! But I would recommend this professor!

Professor Nasr is cool. He only graded two tests and a final (+ discussions). Like people said, you have to have good discipline since homework and notes aren't graded and you're basically teaching yourself. His notes aren't entirely unhelpful, but you usually need to search for outside help anyways to fully understand concepts. Otherwise, all good

Amazing class!!!! Easiest math class you will ever take in your entire life. Discussion 1 time a week and you just solve a problem. Only thing in the grade book is the exams ( 2 tests 1 final) which were about 5-7 problems. If you aren't the greatest at math take this class. I was not stressed at all and he provides notes however not the greatest.

One of the best math professors I've ever taken. His lectures are easy to understand and he is understanding and takes time to answer questions and clear things up. Only 2 tests and the final which you get a full page of notes to use on them. I would highly recommend his class.
