Excellent, highly recommend. Ignore all negative ratings from student's whom refuse to do the required work for the class. She is an great instructor and curves the grade at the end no next grade level.

She is the most sweetest professor in baruch. She will help you outside of class no problem and give plenty of opportunities to bump grade higher. She is the best financial professor in Baruch. I wish she can teach the rest of my finance classes left. Very good at teaching the class I will be taking her again next semester. Must take professor !!!

She gives very fair chances to get a great grade. Gave some extra credit to help boost the grade. She is super funny and will respond to you email within a day. Her classes are interesting not the one that puts you to sleep. Do the homework it helps a lot plus its a great part of the grade.

I support Prof. Demiralp. I was in her class in Spring and recommended her to my friends for this semester. she is an amazing person and energetic teacher. Baruch should hire her if they care about quality of education. That is great that curses and lies written here to hurt her is under investigation.

Her personality and effort to help us was inspiring. She became my role model. Fair grader. I support her and wish the people who have tried to hurt her here will be caught soon. I know that there is an investigation going on.

I wish I took this professor the first time I took this class. My previous professor had doubled the work and just read off the slides (basically teach yourself). Not only did I get a great grade in this class I also learned way more then I thought I would. Great class to take with her dont think twice!!

Prof. Demiralp gives many many chances for her students to do well in the course. She tries her best to teach in a way that anyone can understand and really wants her students to do well. She gave extra points here and there on exams & also made it so that part of the midterms will be take home. Learned a lot as well. Def take if you can.

Straightforward exams. One midterm, second midterm is half take home excel project. Final is 20 MC. If you are good at stats you'll do fine. Attendance taken every class.

As far as ECO 4000 professors go, she's of the better ones by far. ECO 4000 is hard in general, but she keeps it pretty fair in this class. MyEconLab helped the most for preparing for exams. Gives extra credit occasionally (2-4 points). Overall, everything she taught us was on the exams, so I can't complain. You have to put in effort to do good.

Her style of teaching is quite unique at Baruch! I loved she had her own slides and had interactive class. Project assignments helped me to improve my grade and to really understand why I need learning econometrics and to learn how to find real world useful data. Must take prof! Also very caring and kind!!!

Extremely hard class but she made it feel easier for sure. Shouldnt delay studying for this one. Data projects were awesomely prepared, after them it made more sense what/why we learned all and it was fun. She provided enough material for exam prep. exams were fair and graded fairly. I wish my other profs cared about our courses as she did!!!

My friends took class with her and I waited for her name to be listed under this course again last semester. It was worthy. She should teach more courses at Baruch. Period.

First time at Baruch, I really enjoyed a class. Class activities were fun and I learned a lot at the same time. It was cool she taught how to take advantage on yahoo finance and WSJ websites. Textbook definitions and formulas made more sense after seeing how to actually apply using real world data and stuff. Fair exams. Well organized lectures.

Not boring PPT explanation instead she gives handouts in each class, full of exercises and activities a extremely helpful method to practice and pass the class with a good grade. Extra credit. Exams are based on these handout exercises and homework no more than that. if you practice those exercises you will be good.

Night of the final exam got score and letter grade. She is fast. Two pop up class presentations in groups earned extra credits for exams. She positively gave us tips for improvement, no making us feeling bad or something at the stage. was great to have handouts she distributed each class. Obviously she knows her stuff and how to teach.

she is really good professor, Fin 3610 is a difficult class, but she tried the best make it easy. if you want to get A , work hard and take her class

She is an amazing professor. Gave out a sheet for each chapter with all the formulas & exercises and went through them . Those problems on the worksheets were all the problems on the test. always looking to help students so there's lots of extra credit! Highly recommend her.

She is a caring -great prof. No reading from slides but doing every single question on the board with clear recalls and explanations. Super organized. Communicates with students in a respectful way. Very understanding and approachable. Class handouts and homework questions well guide you for exams. Recommend her.

Absolutely one of the best prof in all ways. It was cool she made up questions using todays market data and instruments while doing chapters in class in addition to outdated textbook questions but exams were fairly similar to textbook&homework problems as expected. No unpleasant surprises but up-to-date learning in this field.

Prof. Demiralp was really dedicated and knowledgable and she was fancy about giving us extra credits for both of midterm and final. She made lecture in an easy-understanding way and also not trick us on exams. The exam questions are very similar to homework. Once you participate and do your homework, A is not a problem!

Gives you chances to re-submit connect assignments at the end of the semester to boost your grades. Exams are similar to connect questions and the worksheets she gives out in class. A little grumpy and strict picture-taking policy but not the worst professor.

She lectures in a way that feels like shes tutoring you so you leave her classroom with little doubt about the subject matter. She explains why the solution is correct and why other answers are wrong which fosters learning. Gives extra credit through the semester including for final. M135 F45 Connect 20 plus extra credit! Took her online course, during COVID, over the summer and she is one of the most accommodating professors I've had. She uploaded lectures to youtube in sections that made everything simple to grasp. Was always accessible outside class and listened to students' concerns.

She is an amazing professor. she gave us a lot of extra credit points. It is an online class and of course, is not easy. You have to learn a little bit by yourself even though her youtube lectures were really helpful. The final was worth 40% and it was hard, but at least we didn't have a lot of questions! I'd love to take her again.

She has contacted me couple times so far about my class performance and offered help with homework. That is not something you normally expect at Baruch in a super large class. Professor Demiralp is probably the best professor I ever had at Baruch. She's very kind to her students and responds quickly to her emails. The class itself can get difficult but don't worry, she'll post videos on her YouTube channel which are really helpful. If you did well in STA 2000, the class shouldn't be a problem for you. She's one of a kind

Extra credit quizzes were helpful to get ready for the second midterm, I wish she offered such for the first one as well. The textbooks language was heavy. Without her videos I couldnt get much out of it for sure. Video lengths were just perfect! I took her since my best friend recommended. Hard to find seat. Be aware the fake bad comments here

Second time taking. It was nice to have short videos to watch at my convenience. I work at a hospital. She was able to meet me at zoom for my questions on a Sunday because of my busy working schedule. This time amount of the homework was also reasonable. I feel learned a lot with her and it was less stressful given how understanding she was.

Her lecture videos and her generous zoom meeting offers saved my gpa. We were offered to schedule zoom meetings whenever we needed. She was flexible about the scheduling, weekday or weekend. Zoom meetings were very helpful. I still dont get how she managed email conversation with all of us on how we are doing in our mega large class :))

I was recommended to take this class with her. I am happy I took this advice. The course was asynchronous and her Youtube lecture videos exactly what I needed. Course workload and exams were fair. She impressively contacted me couple times during the semester to check on with me. She is definitely the most understandable and caring prof I ever had.

Was lucky to find a seat. The class was asynchronous. I loved her lectures on Youtube. She was amazingly and promptly responsive. She responded in couple minutes to one of my urgent emails. She included an instant zoom meeting invitation if I preferred a live discussion immediately. Such a dedicated and understanding prof. Knowledgeable. Must take.

She's the nicest professor I ever had in my college career. Sometimes it's difficult to understand her since she's so passionate about the subject. Overall, it's a difficult stat based class regardless of the prof you take.

The most patient, caring and nice prof ever. She requested our anonymous feedback after the first midterm, and she really responded mine in upcoming weeks. Without the extra credit assignments, I could not get A-. I appreciate her teaching style. She got back to my email in half an hour although I had received the automated reply first.

She is cool. Knows her stuff. She collected attendance data after first exam and said she will use it in regression for analysis. This regression was on the final as a question :) There was no surprise question on exams, maybe because I attended each class. Approachable. Fair. Must take if you want good grade and learn at the same time.

The class was not easy at all but its doable if you pay attention. Final was worth 45%. All exams were online. Extra credit is offered as well. The homework was similar to alot of exam questions. If you focus on the homework and do all your extra credit you should be okay.

Professor is kind and really trying to teach you about Economics, will not regret after taking her. She is always looking back into student's feedbacks to improve her teachings, making things simple for students to understand.

Her class was amazing, you shouldn't rely on a curve because she made sure to put on exams what was already studied and she mentioned in class what was important. As long as you paid attention and did your homework, that was your study material and you can do pretty good. She is very caring and willing to listen.

She's nice ask she always asks for feedback on how she can do better. Her lectures are boring however if you study her homework then you will be fine. It's a hard class however if you put in the work you will pass her class i was scared reading these comments but she wasn't bad.

Professor is great! Her lecture classes and her homework is helpful for preparing the exams! Exams are based on the things that discussed during class and homework, I didn't read the textbook. She will try to explain the things that we have question with. No group project.

She gives many opportunities to get your grade up. Pearson is used for homework, which lets you retake incorrect questions until you get 100%. In-class quizzes are based on work done in class and answers are given before submission. Midterms & Final are closed book but questions come from HW & she goes over them before exams. Lowest exam dropped.

Sweetest and best professor at Baruch tbh, pay attention in class and you will definitely do good. 100% a tough subject and will need to study a bit but the test are relatively easy if you know the material. Only flunked the 2nd mid term (70ish%) and still got an A!

This is a very hard class. YOu have to pay attention to the lectures otherwise you'll fall behind and it is not easy to catch up last minute. The professor is good, she tries her best to explain everything in a way that we can understand it but there will be lots of homework/quizzes, but she gives very similar examples, even on the exams.

I took her class last semester, it was a tough class tbh, I got b+ but I was there in class everyday, taking 10+ small quizzes, she gives the answer at the end of the class so you must be there. 2 midterms, one drops. (Try to do well in the first one, since second one covers all chapters). Final project no final. STUDY!
