From what I have heard, Fahima was a great professor when this class was in-person. However, for the fall of 2020, she made this class unnecessarily stressful. Exams are proctored by Proctorio. There are 2 midterms and a final exam as well as weekly homework and online lectures. Grade is curved if you do better on the second midterm than the first.

Fahima has made the subject of economics my hardest and most confusing course. I believe I lost knowledge of economics by taking this class through Fahima. She is nice, but thats where the positives end. Her canvas page is terrible and random unscheduled assignments ruin a lot of students grades. Tests are confusing and hard to follow.

She's a nice woman, but I really don't think she's cut out to teach online courses. Notes are awkward and are basically copy-pasted from the textbook. In the asynchronous section, she posts lectures, but she reads from the notes that she made, so they're pointless. Preparation for midterms in terms of study materials available are mediocre at best.

This class was unnecessarily difficult as an asynchronous 1001 course. I felt as if I was teaching myself. The lecture videos and notes are not that helpful because they are basically straight from the book. This class was not the most organized and would have random assignments (turn Canvas notifications on). The exams are hard (do the practice).

This professor is very unaware of student's ability to learn. The homework and in-class activity style is against a comprehensive learning style as the homework has limited tries and does not give the answer afterward. She wrote a GLORIOUS recommendation later that pleased the Carlson gods. Look, she's not an amazing teacher, but her classes are easy enough that it doesn't really matter. All I look for in an easy class is a fun personality and a touch of insanity, and she delivers those in spades.

Her Econ101 class is all over the place. I have no idea what this school was thinking with this class, but the content was not hard, but the way this professor assigned work on canvas and her "headgrader" was messy. Exams and HW would never be graded on time. It was concerning the amount of emails sent. dont take it (beware of attendance)

she really engaged me in the topic personally, but if you don't do the readings or look over the slides on your own time, you may be confused. her lectures are a bit scattered and she seems to be rushed frequently, but she's obviously very knowledgable and she wants everyone to succeed.

She rarely explains anything clearly, and can often get frustrated when students ask clarifying questions. She talks an awful lot about how she wants students to succeed, so much so that her students don't learn the content, they only learn how much she loves them succeeding. Genuinely one of the most random professors I have seen

There wasn't an option for her MBA 6141 class in the drop down. I sincerely hope she improves the four-week sprint class from late November to late December. The content was disorganized and unclear, and the exams were poorly written. If you have any quantitative inclination, the class is easy enough if you have some extra time around late Nov.
