first, i am horrible at math, but this teacher knows how to get through to you. she is an absolutly wonderful teacher. i definently recomend her,and wish she was teaching the next math i have to take.

Honestly, probably one of the best math teachers I have ever taken. I'm normally not very good at math and she made everything clear. Not always wanting to go over homework but gets through the lessons and straight to the point of what will be on tests or quizes. Highly suggest taking her if you are willing to attend classes

I think a lot of people are mistaking this teacher for another miller. Prof. Miller is a great techer, she explains everything clearly and if you have any problems, shes there to help. Statistics is not my strong point at all but being the teacher that she is I managed to do just fine. Attend class, take notes, study for tests and you'll do fine...

She explains everything step by step, and is extremely helpful. If you go to class and work on homework at home then you will do just fine. She gives time in class to go over homework problems you don't understand. by the time exams hit you're more than ready for them.

MRS MILLER (Not Mr.) is an excellent math teacher. Statistics is a confusing course, but she made it easy. ATTEND CLASS, if you do, you'll never have to read the book. Lots of homework, but its not graded, only for your benefit and its always odd# so you have the answers. For extra clarity on problems, buy the solutions guide.

Awesome professor! Always gives clear examples to help you understand the material. Her exams are somewhat difficult, but as long as you do the homework and attend class, you'll be fine. I would definitely take her again!

Great teacher, very well structured class. If every teacher tought math in this manner I believe they would be setting up more students for success. I did NOT like the project that was assigned (who wants to do a stat. project) but overall can't complain, she's a great teacher.

I absolutely love Mrs. Miller. She was the best math teacher I have ever had. My least strongest subject is math and I received an A in her class. You need to attend class everyday in order to get a good grade, but the way she teaches is crystal clear and easy to understand. I am taking her for all math classes in the future. Over all she was a good teacher, her method of grading was good, you had journal problems for homework, takehome quizzes which were very helpful because they were almost identical to the exams. I felt like she went over material a little too quickly sometimes, but she usually tried her best to answer any questions you had. I would def reccomend her

She is an awsome teacher. she is always ready to help. she gives alot of online homewrok ,and she has an online quiz every week except for the weeks of the exams. she also has 4 group quizes during the semester. Also she gives alot of extra credits. She is my favorite teacher. I got A in her class :)

Professor Miller was amazing. One of the best math professors I have had in a long time. Let's face it, it's precalc of course there is a lot of work but to be expected. There are so many ways to do well in her class and she forces you to learn the material which is extremely beneficial. I highly recommend her to anyone.

Faith was awesome, she has a really good lecture style, and explains things well. She doesn't try to make things sound "over your head". It's very easy to succeed in the class with all of the opportunities to get points. She's great! Also, she uses My Math Lab online to do homework - it's super helpful and just adds easy points, take her class!

BEST PROFESSOR AT MCC! She actually cares about her students, we use math lab for homework and quizzes, it helps u understand the material better by showing examples.Tests are are fair and she gives partial credit. There is opportunities to get extra credit with clicker questions. She really prepares you for the final, great with emailing back FAST

she is a really good professor I loved the way she teaches she just went through the material little fast b/c we had snow days and she uses mymathlab to do homework and quizes which is really helpful b/c it provides a lot of helping tool and is based on the book. yea it's annoying in the beginng but u'll get used to it

I love professor Miller! I actually wish i had more math classes just so i could have her. shes easy to follow and wants everyone to do good, she gives opportunities for extra credit. She uses my math lab wish gives more practice for the tests and then final exam! Id recommend her to anyone!

I think that there was some drift was the plastics factory next door and about half the class was susceptible to be temporarily brain damaged during class because of that. That's about all I can think of as to why people would be hard on Professor Miller. You have to try to fail her class, not pass, fail. Ignore reviews from people who can't spell.

great teacher, very easy to understand. her grading is very tough you need to make sure everything is perfect and that you make no mistakes. she is not forgiving on grading. if you make a honest mistake is does not matter. so make sure you double check everyhing. other then that she's a great teach just a pain when it comes to grading.

Mrs. Miller is a FANTASTIC teacher! This is my second math class I have taken with her and she is great. Any math class I take I will be taking it with her :) She uses a program called My Math Lab which has weekly homework assignments and a quiz. It is very helpful and I didn't really end up using the book. She gives you the tools to succeed!

Professor Miller is by far the best math professor I have ever had. I dreaded math, let alone Calc, and to be honest I actually enjoyed doing work for her class because all the work she gives you actually prepares you for exams. I never felt like I was wasting my time. She is excellent at presenting lectures and I would recommend her to anyone!

Best professor ever? I think so. Professor Miller is an excellent professor. She made learning Calculus 1 a lot easier then I thought possible. She has excellent lecture notes and the stuff she teaches you in class is actually on the exam. Anyone who has the opportunity to take her make sure you do. She is AMAZING.

I took math 1000 last semester & failed. the teacher relied directly on the book to teach. miller was perfect tho. her demonstrations were interactive & clear. by putting the h.w. online it was a fun & easy way to get me to want to do it. she got the class actively involved in learning the topics. my final grade: A. GREAT CLASS! Her notes are online and are super helpful. Everything she does has a purpose that will only help you in the long run. She's very approachable if you have questions. Before math w/ professor Miller, I was a goner. Her lessons are so precise & easy to follow that any learning level can comprehend. She is extremely organized and all the work you do has a purpose & flows into every exam. I highly suggest her to any student! She was the first math class I've had in school where I actually understood & passed :)

Prof Miller is a good math professor. As long as you do the homework she assigns there should be no problem with you getting at least a B. I didn't do the homework as much as I should of but if I would of I know I would of gotten at least a B. She gives GREAT notes!

This woman REALLY knows her material!! This is my 2nd time around taking calc - the first time it wasn't with her, and it made no sense - but with her it's so easy! Her notes are very thorough, and her tests are practically a replica of the practice tests she gives out beforehand. If you need a fool-proof way of getting through calc, take Miller!

Prof. Miller is an awesome math teacher, i had her for 3 classes now and her exams are straight from the group tests. you only need a book if you want one and do the book work if you want to. all the homework is online and she is always willing to help. the only downside is that she doesn't teach past calculus 1. Take her if you can!!!!

Great professor. She keeps the material interesting. You do not need the book for this class; she has made up a packet of the units that will be covered and it is available at the bookstore for $13.

Cool class. Teacher is very clear on assignments. Exams can be kind of hard. DO NOT BUY the book. I paid a lot of money for mine because she said it was mandatory, but then we never opened it once for the class. Print off her notes before class and you should be fine.

She's a nice person and helpful, but I don't see the big deal about her. I took her summer course math 1460. She makes you work in groups every week. Who makes you work in groups for math?! I just didn't really like her teaching style, but she's pretty cool.

I took her eight week accelerated course and it was extremely challenging. DO NOT buy the textbook, all you need is the MyMathLab. You don't open the book once. If you like sitting at your computer for three hours a night doing homework, then I guess you'll do okay in this class.

She doesn't explain any unnecessary details like other math professors tend to do. I liked that the most about her. All homework is assigned on MyMathLab. Tests are written so don't expect to be using scantrons. Also she has you do tutorial videos for each unit, which i think is absurd. Other than that I would highly recommend her.

Professor Miller is probably one of the best math teachers i ever had. She is very easy to understand, goes over only the things that are relevant and important regarding tests, and never gets sidetracked like many professors tend to do. All in all great teacher I highly recommend.

I have no time what-so-ever, work school kids and this class takes time,but its math its supposed to.This class is 4 Liberal arts degrees only,if youre going in2 math don't take this class.She designed this class perfect for the left brained people that aren't good at right brained math. She put in a lot of effort and couldn't have done it better!!

Work intensive! Style - where homework is "done" in class / lecture outside class via mymathlab. Though, homeowork assigned via online. Most classes have a quiz. You cannot miss a class. Exams #6 - 5 in class, 6th departmental final. Must do ALL the work, lots of outisde class time needed. Drawbacks, no 1 on 1 time for Q and A with professor.

She's the best math teacher I've ever had. She wants her students to succeed and is genuinely excited about the material. It's still a math class, and you're going to have to work for a good grade. I was in an accelerated class, and the only people that had a problem with her teaching style, were the people that didn't come to class in general.

Great teacher, knows material but there was a ton of material and not a lot of room for questions. Review tons and study as much as possible. There were a few pop quizzes so be prepared for next class and do online hw. At end of course we had to learn the material beforehand and come to class to apply it- toughest material so be prepared for class.

If you need everyday math then take this professor. Notes are super clear, homework is done in class, tests are identical to the review sheets online. She also assigns two projects that take an hour to do and are worth 50 points each. Easiest class to get an A. Always lets you leave early. TAKE TAKE TAKE.

Easiest A. All you have to do is your assignments and show up and youll get an A.

The notes are super clear, and the tests are just like the notes with different numbers. She is willing to help students if you struggle, and she will go over any problems on the board. The homework load is not too bad, and she does 5 minute quizzes at the beginning of each class. Great professor!

FAVORITE. All lectures are on her website. She records herself and does about 4 problems step by step and you copy it down. You show her you copied her notes down on the days you have class and you get full credit. During class she never lectures. You will do the homework with a partner in class and get 100% on every assignment. You can't fail.

Easy math class, Impossible to get anything lower than a B. Her class is reverse. Her notes are posted on youtube, so you do all the note taking at home and come to class and do the class work as homework, and ask questions as needed. I always was able to leave in half an hour because I would finish my work early. I would highly recommend her.

She is the easiest teacher i have had! there are 3 projects that took me about 1 hr each. Everything is online. Go to class do the 20 question homework and i would leave an hour and a half early. If you miss class then you lose 20 points.

By far my favorite professor at Macomb. If you show up to class and do all the homework you will be fine. I'm not the best at math, but she makes everything clear and easy to understand. She is very organized and cares about all her students. As long as you show up everyday, there's no reason for you not to get anything but an A.

I had her for accelerated precalc in the summer and she did an amazing job. I mean we went through 9 chapters in about 5 weeks and our class average ended up being around 80. Very clear and has funny puns. I'd recommend her to anyone.

Professor Miller was the best math professor I've ever had. Let's not get confused with the other math professor with the last name Miller that also teaches at the school. She does give a quiz every class and you do need to go EVERY class period other wise you get a 0 on the quiz and you can't retake them. They are very easy, and so is the tests.

Although this was an advanced course, the amount of work in this class was unbearable. Homework (usually multiple sections) is due next lecture; Daily in-class quiz; Weekly online quiz; Regular testing plus departmentalized midterms and finals. Walked away with just a B despite putting in more effort than I ever have for school.

By far the best professor I've had for college math. She gives out packets to follow along with during lectures, very intelligent, doesn't throw any curve balls. If you show up and pay attention, she's excellent.

Took her class this spring. She is very clear and definitely one of my favorite math professors. She is a tough grader on tests though so make sure not to miss any of the homework and make sure you study for her daily quizzes because they are your only hope to bump your grade Above your test averages. The final was very easy compared to her tests

She's incredible. She wrote the book for our class, which is SO easy to understand. The online videos we use to take notes are amazing. I've been awful at math for years until taking this class. She's extremely ambitious and pushes herself hard, expecting her students to do the same.

Mrs. Miller is an amazing professor! She's laid back and cool, yet fair. The workbook is needed for the class because it has all of your assignments right in it. You must do the notes and videos in order to receive points. Homework must be done in class or no credit. An easy class and easy teacher but very nice! You'll want to take her for this!

This class was super easy. The first two weeks, she puts you with a partner for assignments but after that you can work on your own. When you are finished with the in class assignment, you can leave. The notes are online and are part of your grade so make sure to do them!

As a student who has struggled with math this class set up has helped me succeed. This class has you do a lot of online homework throughout the course. This homework I did in between class days and that kept me focused with the class. Clear and fair grading system. Helpful lectures.

I took her for Calculus 1 , the exams were exactly what she had on the notes which made it very easy , the only annoying part is the homework . Good choice if you need calculus

Easy A. 80-90% of the lecturing is done at home via her instructional videos. You show up, do an in-class assignment (with or without a partner,) and leave. It's nice getting out of class an hour early, but I'm not sure I'd want to teach myself if the subject matter were more advanced. My only complaint is that the class met too early in the morn'.

MATH1465 is an accelerated course, and at least in the summer that translates to 32 weeks of classes compressed into 8. You'll work your ass off, you'll be tired, but you *will* learn if you try. Faith Miller is by far the absolute best Math professor I've ever encountered when it comes to pure mathematics.

Everyday we had a quiz of 5 points before the class started on the stuff we learned the day before, so extra easy points there if you know the work. Homework online which was nice because no purchasing a book. 6 exams and the last one a week before the final. didn't like that. she is super nice and helpful though. uses full time, never out early.

Professor Miller is great! No lectures in class, all the homework is done through instructional videos and in class time is spent doing the work in the book. She is incredibly helpful and patient. I struggle with math, but I would take a class with her again and recommend her to anyone. Go to class and do the work and its an easy A!

Alot of the comments on here for this summer class are giving her low ratings but they seem to be rating the class rather than the prof. this is the BEST MATH TEACHER IVE EVER HAD. I was used to getting Bs or Cs in math and i currently have a 4.0 in this class. Yes its hard and yes its alot of work daily but take this prof! shes so great for math!

I love her! Easy A as long as you read the notes/watch the videos, 10 point online quizzes (not timed). In class assignment every day which she helps you with. Once youre finished with the assignment youre free to go! Most of the time I was only in there for 30 minutes. Very easy/managaeble material, and she cares about her students!

Professor Miller is hands down the best math professor Ive ever had. She is not only an awesome teacher who will go through exactly everything she puts on the test, she is very approachable and kind. She even went out of her way to ask the book publisher if she could give our class a free access code and they did, saving us an easy $110.

If you're looking for an easy A stay away! -there is a 5 min quiz every class on material from the previous class. -cumulative quiz online every week. - A lot of homework, spending at least 1 hr per section. Helped me a lot going into calc 1, She teaches Very well!!

Professor Miller was great. She genuinely cares if the students understand the concept and if not she will go over the material with you. I took her for acc precalc and she did say the first day, be ready to work because it is a accelerated class. She explained tough material to where it was understandable to learn and study. Pretty easy class. Super straightforward. She gives lots of opportunities to improve your grade. Some of the due-dates/work loads were sort of annoying, but I'm lazy, so really it was probably fine. Final exam is on-campus. She seemed pretty sweet in person.

I changed my major to not have to take anymore classes - but I wish she was my math teacher for all the other classes I had. She is amazing!! You can submit all h.w. early and she will correct it for you to re-submit before the due date. She even dropped our lowest test grade. Workload is not heavy - 3 assignments due on the weekends (and 1 test).

Professor Miller was great, basically you show up to class do the in class assignment & go home and do the video notes for the next chapter with a quiz. The quizzes are manageable & i've never got lower than an 8/10 of them. Most of them are 10 questions and will take you 5-15 minutes to finish. She also is the author of the book we use in class.

Professor Miller is great! I am someone who has struggled in math my whole life. She teaches using a combo of online videos, easy online quizzes and lets you pair up everyday to get the in class homework done. She sets her grading up to help you pass and she likes to see her students succeed. She is quick on emails too! Great teacher! And funny!

I took Professor Miller for precalc and recently Calc 1. Best professor by far. She cares and is very respectful to her students. She is super fair on grading the quizzes and exams; giving partial credit for showing your work and trying your best. Wish she taught Calc 2! I recommend. Plus its Calc, so if you dont study you wont pass.

She is very well organized on Canvas and gives you lots of time to get your work done each week as well as feedback, where you can continuously turn it in until you get the best grade. This definitely helps you get better grades on the exams. The videos she attaches to her materials online are also of great help.

Caring teacher; treats us like family by giving us the chance to remake worksheets to get a better score and at the same time, we understand more. Any time I have a question, she always answers me. The book we used is hers; amazing and very smart subjects; I will keep her book it contains important math to use in our life. Lord bless miss miller.

She is very well organized and you do get to resubmit assignments if done by certain day. She does give feedback on work if turned in on time. Textbook is mandatory and I would highly suggest spending the extra $20 for the paper book, it includes EVERYTHING and I'm usually a virtual book type of person. Her lectures are super easy to understand!

She was super organized, work was for the most part pretty easy with a do-able amount as well. book is required and I would recommend the paper back because it has literally everything in there, the notes she lectures on, the practice questions, and the worksheets that you are to do. I would recommend her, and she replies back with any help needed!

So your thinking about signing up for Prof. Miller and you're reading all these bad reviews... Don't be alarmed, Prof. Miller isn't that bad. Other than her 9 proctored exams, the 100% online class was fairly easy. Read the book, watch the tutorials she puts out, and you will get 100%. The class looked overwhelming at first; but its not that bad.

This class was a lot easier than i had expected, the work load isnt too bad and the tests were just like the homework & the practice quizzes. She allows you to redo the problems you got wrong & submit for a higher grade. if you take the class online, then the tests are monitored via camera but its not bad at all. You do also have to buy the book.

She is an amazing teacher and she helps guide you in the right direction. She gives you every opportunity to do well in her class.

Prof Miller is my favorite professor yet! Lots of weekly assignments like lecture video notes, 2-3 worksheets, 2-3 quiz's and a unit test each week. She was a very decent professor, and she taught the class very well. She gave a lot of examples, and in-depth explanations on how to solve each problem. The tests were also pretty easy, as long as you understand the material you should pass.

My favorite teacher this semester. Very good instructional videos, she has extended due dates on tests I've missed, grades fairly and doesn't mark down for minor mistakes. Responds promptly to emails. Understands we're here to learn not to be punished. Gave us practice tests for everything she covered too, and some extra credit opportunities.

I took Math 1050 online with her last semester and I did really well. Everything was very organized and easy to understand, her homework can sometimes be challenging with some chapters, however nothing crazy. The final exam was on campus and it wasn't too bad, just make sure to study her final exam practice packet and you'll do fine. I

Professor Miller's MATH1100 class is well-structured, with a mix of video lessons and in-class problem-solving. The workload is manageable, and she provides ample opportunities to succeed. Resources like unstuck ai and the free textbook are helpful for study prep.

Very simple class because of how Prof. Miller teaches! She is very thorough with her notes and explains things in great detail. There are quizzes at the beginning of every class but they are easy points. Extra credit was offered on every test we took. Very understanding and clear with what is expected. Super nice professor!

As someone who is not good at math at all this is a very easy class. You do the lectures on your own and do the Homework in class. She does not give you credit until you get it all right which helped me learn the material. The tests are online but the final is in-person. If you do the HW and notes you should have no problem passing.
