She has a good personality. She teaches very clearly and she gives reviews to tests and the problems are similar to the real test. She teaches mat 1033, mac 1105, and mac 1147, maybe more that i'm not sure of and she teaches at wolfson campus.

Very nice, breaks down everthing, she teaches you how to take good notes and how to highlight the important things with different colored instraments, so that when you review your notes it jumps back out at you. She always makes sure every understands & she's cool.

This is a very difficult subjuct, but the professor really make it as simple as possible. Do not try to do this class on your own! The text book is much more complicated without her explaining each chapter with her notes. She is by far one of the better Math Professors in MDC, (well there is only 2, Ms. Peters and Ms Lopez Dieguez)

Math is not my best subject but she explains the concepts clearly (usually with different colored chalk) and she reviews the homework every class. Tests are not too hard and once you do the practice homework and study you'll do fine. I hope she's teaching trigonometry in the fall (@ FIU) so I can take her again.

She is an excelent teacher. MAC 1147 is a class that requires a great deal of time, but if you do all the assigments you will be fine. The professor is very nice, and funny and makes the subjet easy to understand. she is one of the best Math teachers in miami dade.

Mrs Peters is not a bad teacher. I took MAC1147 3 semesters ago with her. The class was very very clear and I learned a lot, now I am in CAL3 and I still remember trig problems that she explained to me, Thank You Mrs Peters.

I have been in three of Prof. Peter's courses, she is absolutely the best math professor I have ever found. Outstanding teacher, clear, fair, funny,and super nice-kind. 5+ stars rating for her.

9 out of 10 math profs are horrible, Prof. Peters is that 1 out of 10 that is exceptionally great. What a diamond of a person and teacher. She makes every math course enjoyable, understandable, and she listens to her students. Very helpful, gracious, fair (yes fair!). And guys, she is easy on the eyes!!! Trig isnt an easy subject if you dont have a strong basis in math.However Peters was very clear when she taught. Personally didnt do well because I took on a huge load of classes and never had the time to study but that wont stop me from taking other math classes with her,shes a sweetheart and she will help in whatever way she can if you go to her.

If you are taking calculus for the first time, read the text before the class and attempt the homework before you come to the lecture. Buy the Ti89 from the beginning. I am a honors student who got a B in the course. Exam q.'s from text not from online homework. I could have gotten an A in the course in hindsight. I highly recommend Faith Peters.

Step1) kiss up as much as you can! She was nice and cool at first but later she started to have this nasty attitude that was not called for. She's really great at teaching the material, which isn't an easy class to begin with, so be prepared to study! I also didn't like how she paid more attention to her favorite students from her previous classes!

Very nice professor, and def. knows her material. She expects a lot of interaction between her and the students, it's annoying. Her exams aren't difficult, you just have to study enough to do well. Teaches extremely well, sometimes fast, but at a timed pace. If you're not good at math, you need to put a lot of time into learning the material.

Wow peters is an amazing teacher!she left memorize with the way she teaches.all the information she provides comes form her memory.she is a little old-school she likes working with the book but if your good in math your not going to need it.for every test given out she provides a study guide and always gives a review before the test.

The class is very easy to do, I chose it online and it was a piece of cake,but you have to work on the power points and do all the homework.The professor seems to be nice and helpfull although she/he takes some time to answer the emails.Easy A anyway.

When I took Peters I didn't like her very much, but as I took more Calculus and math classes I realized she is actually an excellent professor. Pretty much everything she taught I never forgot. You could ask her ANY question from the book and she would answer, this is NOT the case for MANY of the professors out there. She will prepare you for univ.

Good professor!She explains well.It's math, so you'll have to practice to make sure that you don't forget. Exams are easy final included, for she spends a lot of time reviewing. The cons are that she is late evry now and then, and spends too much time in some chapters and skips or rushes on others. However,she cares and tries to help her students.

I had her for a mini term and I think maybe that's why I don't think the class was as easy as other people are making it out to be. We had tests pretty often since it was a mini term and I felt she tried to cram in way too much between exams. She does explain pretty clear and if you ask her she is not rude but as someone who is not good at math I would not recommend her 100%. Her tests were pretty difficult.

Really easy to understand and down to earth teacher, If you get lower than a B in her class you are probably lazy. All you really need to do is the homework and complete the study guides she gives and you will understand the material. Tests are pretty straight forward, whatever is on the study guide is on the tests. I would recommend her anyone.

Good professor, I wouldn't recommend taking during the summer because she does miss a few classes and then its hard to catch up. take for 16 week class. I passed with a B! Make sure you do math lab, its 15% of your grade!

She teaches the material easily and clear. There are 5 test and final with homework. Lowest test dropped. Only thing i dislike is that each test has only 9 or 10 questions seems like she makes it impossible to get A on test. She puts an extra credit on test but makes it so hard so no one gets it. She'll go above and beyond for you if you ask for help. You'll also need a MyMathLab account for the homework and Attendence isn't mandatory but you might miss extra credit windows.

Prof. Faith is a very good professor. She is very helpful, kind, and her lectures are fun. It is easy to understand what she is doing. She cares about her students and rewards the effort. Great professor.

She's a nice woman. She teaches really good to the point that you understand but she puts up easy examples on the board and goes over them rather than something more challenging. You have exams and mathlab homework. The exams are not multiple choice, it's about 15 questions and you have to write your answer in and show work for partial credit.

She is good Everything that she teaches is on the exam U just need to pay attention to the lecture. She gives lots of helpful examples on the board. U have 2 complete the homework which is always due on the same day of each exam.. She ask if anyone needs help from homework. She drop the lowest grade. Exams are show your work, non multiple choice.

Amazing professor. I took her for Calc 1 & 2 and aced both classes. She explains everything very clearly and she will answer any questions that you have during her lectures. The homework helps you study for her tests which are not difficult if you come well prepared. If you have the chance to take this professor, DO IT!

What they say is true, prob the best math professor at Dade. So ill give a rundown of the specifics of the class. 60% 5 tests (drops lowest grade), 15% Online Hw, 25% Final. Tests are short (8-9 questions) but pack a good punch. Opens all online Hw after the 4th test. Final is "hard not to pass" if you catch my drift. Apply's only to Mac2311.

I'm so glad I picked Professor Peters, she is absolutely amazing!! She is so clear in eveRything. the only thing I would recommend is to study. If you study, like if you really study and paied attention to class the tests should be a piece of cake for you!! Even the final was easy for me. She helps you in any way possible. Don't forget to STUDY!!!

Professor Peters is GREAT!! I'm not good nor do I like any form of math! She helped me understand and actually enjoy Algebra. She is a great "teacher", very helpful and patient. Best math teacher ever! She gives excellent notes and explains everything on detail, the homework online will help your grade a lot, only 4 exams and one final, they are less than 20 questions.(very easy) Will give a review the class before test and answer questions. As long as you complete review, you'll pass, she's hilarious. TAKE HER!!!!!!

People are saying "only take her class if you're good at math" Like seriously... This was the easiest math class I have ever taken. It should be, "take this class if you're bad at math" because she thoroughly teaches it on the board. I just depends on whether you write down the notes and do the HW. Oh and her test are multiple choice!!

Professor Peters is an AMAZING mathematics Professor. She is HILARIOUS but since it was a morning class and most people suck, students would laugh at her jokes much, but I did. Professor Peters makes math extremely easy and/or simple. Her class is not hard. I will be taking her for Calculus for sure! Take any of her math classes.

I LOVE Prof. PETERS, She's awkward and old school. But this lady knows her stuff, she makes everything clear and its hard not to understand. Her tests are tricky but short. HW is the usual... Not really big in attendance but if you miss class, no one will be able to explain the material like she does, so don't. Take her and you won't regret it.

So I am going to be straight up honest, I failed her class. It was not her fault however; she's amazing! I had a lot of honors society kids in my class that were constantly skipping ahead while she was trying to go over questions from previous lessons & homework. I felt very intimidated to ask questions and was often left confused because of them.

Amazing Professor. I love her style of teaching and she makes math easy to understand, However she missed A LOT of classes this semester due to personal reasons which is is affecting us.

I have nothing against Professor Peters. She actually one of the best math professors at Wolfson Campus and I can honestly say she teaches in a way for you to understand the material. This semester she stopped coming due to personal reasons and we were stuck with a substitute for the last two weeks of the semester.

Ms. Peters is actually an AMAZING math professor, if a student has failed in the past it's mainly their fault for not studying hard enough. Like everyone else, she hit a rough patch recently and I am not aware of her current situation, she missed class often, so take at your own risk. She always gives out study guides for her tests, HW is online.

Professor Peters is a Good Professor. Unfortunately she went through a few hardships over the last couple of semesters which cause her to miss class more than normal. She's a good person, very caring and understanding. Tests are relatively easy if you go over the study guide and she gives partial credit for just showing your work.
