She was the easiest lab professor ever. Her quizzes were strictly from the back of lab manual chapters. She gives a review lecture before the lab experiment, so basically your in class for almost the whole period. She is not boring, her voice wont put you to sleep. And her final was a bit harder (more specific questions), but overall.it was easy

I want to tell you claer, she is easy up to last exam. i am A-grade student, but her final is terrible. she gave us review ,and it looked like easy. most students felt themselves in good shape, but final was different. from 60 questions the best result was 46(from50 students). She gave perfect explanation on the lectures, but final..... I got B+

Bro this professor is so easy compared to all the others I promise.I took Bio 150 4x,(I know its alot)Anyway, I had Blanchette, Scherb, Pappas, Eisenberg, Kanjilal,LaFauci, & Peetz was the easiest. She doesn't give you random questions like the rest of them do, but some questions are difficult if you didn't read the slides clearly.

I had Dr Peetz for Bio150 (and 160-lab) She is an amazing professor, really knows her stuff. She is super supportive of her students and generally likeable. BUT you must be comfortable taking power point exams. ALL exams are power point. You get 1 min/question and you only really get to see it once. BUT it's a hard class no matter who you take.

Professor has renewed my enthusiasm for learning. There just isn't enough time to cover everything in the book, you must read/study textbook. Lectures make the material more interesting/personal. Cares about students. More than accessible to meet 1on1 to review exam performance and offer career advice. One of the best teachers I've ever had.

Professor Peetz is amazing. She makes her class not only informative, but also mega exciting and interesting. The examples from her real practice and from life in general were extremely useful to me. Her classes are very lively and memorable. The last test was difficult, so you should prepare for it very responsibly.

Love the professor as a person, very knowledgeable& intelligent. But her class is difficult!! You learn facts& interesting stories. But when you take the test, it is nothing you learned in the lecture. You have to do a lot of reading, connect work. There is way too much to do online as well- blogs, group work participation, online practice exams.

I took her two semesters ago but after a brutal anatomy 2 experience I had to come back and rate her. I wish I would appreciate her classes more. The info she gives you is worth so much and stuck with me. One of my best professors I had. she is work heavy but if you really want to do good, you will. You just have to show the effort.

Winter semester was a shock. Test questions were very rough. On top of that, All class credit comes from the 4 exams, no chance to get credit for anything else. 1-2 chapters per day, and each chapter needs about an hour of read/studying. On top of the 5 hours in-class time & having to do a lab report & study for the lab quizzes.

Professor. Peetz is knowledgable about the subject but is not a great teacher. She goes on tangents of personal stories which wastes class time. She gives a lot of assignments and group work. The final was very different to what we learned in her class. Overall she's a nice professor but I wouldn't necessarily recommend her.

Dr. Peetz is an amazing professor. I took her for the 4 week summer session and she completely turned by gpa around to a 3.9 from a 3.5, because of her my admissions chances into CSI Nursing is heavy increased. She is extremely knowledgable and a great teacher. She connects real world events to scientific events, she is devoted to helping students.

I had taken bio 107/106 as a summer course and my instructor was Professor Peetz. She is one of the best professor's I've ever had and a very wise and intelligent person. I liked that even when I thought my question was dumb she wouldn't make me feel that way. She is very funny and strict when she needs to, I'd 100% take her again.

She always made discouraging remarks saying she rarely sees people do well on her tests and the final, yet still pushed us to start studying in March. While tests were extremely hard & she gave little guidance on what to study, I will say that she does give a lot of hw, which is annoying, but if you do all of it, it can really save your grade.

Took her for bio160 and lab. Her slides were pretty empty so make sure you pay attention to what she says. For lab I found that the slides/simulations half the time had nothing to do with the quizzes She didnt offer extra credit opportunities. DO PRACTICE PROBLEMS!! Didnt answer emails but she was a super sweet lady

Dr. Peetz's course is very difficult. Exams are entirely made of old departmental final questions, and a lot of the material isn't covered in class. Her expectations are high, she wants you to memorize the textbook for exams. If you spend hours a week studying, you'll do great. If you don't want to put in the time, this isn't the course for you.

This professor is amazing and exceptional, and goes far and beyond to make sure her students understand the material. It's no-brainer that you have to put the work in. Which entails at least studying two hours a day. Test are based on the textbook, and as long as you're understanding the material you'll do fine. No surprises, she wants u to do well

Honestly I had a love hate relationship with her but in the end she gives a lot of good tips for the future and she's very fair with grades. Her lectures can go off topic as well but you learn a lot. Studying for this class is tricky so you better study every day for the tests she gives out!

Probably the only bio professor that knows what there talking about and is sooo clear. You'll learn from her class. Bio is not the easiest class but if you have to take it. take it with her she'll make the class less dreadful and she give a good attitude and is a happy person.
