I thought this class would be really hard seeing as how it is Econometrics. However, he made all the notes and readings understandable and I had no problem gettin a good grade in the class. Don't bother buying the book; it's a waste of 130 dollars when all you use the book for is their examples. Just take good notes in class and you will be fine.

Professor Rezvani is a wonderful teacher. He explains the concepts from the text in a way that makes them much more understandable. His tests are written by the textbook company, but are very easy in comparison to the study guide. If you're a good student, this class is enjoyable and an easy A.

Do not listen to what students said below, Rezvani is a very good proffessor, i took him for both 205 and 382 and got A's in both classes, attendance is not mandatory, but i would recomnd to attend the class because Rezvani is a good explainer he knows the material very well, I strongly recoment this guy!!!

easy prof. read book. 3 tests 40 questions each and all from the book. get study guides. if u can answer those multiple choice then u can get 100 on each test

I've never enjoyed econ, mainly because I think it's boring, but Rezvani made it unbelievably understandable and kinda interesting. He seriously explains things so clearly. Do yourself a favor and take this guy, he is definitely worth it. Although attendancce isn't mandatory, his explanations really help. Best guy ever, take him!

He's a very good lecturer, definitely knows what he's teaching. He makes it very simple to understand very difficult concepts and as long as he sees you in class, when you ask him questions, he'll answer them. The tests were 40, 35 and 45 questions each. Get the study guide, read before each class, review after each class and you'll be fine.

May be the course materials are too easy in ECON 101, I got an A+, tests scores are all above 90, you did the HW and look over the myeconlab chapter summary, and in that chapter summary there should be about 40 multiple choice, go over that and if you understand, then you can get 90+ on his test, I enjoy his lectures very much, no stress at all.

he is the worst he does explain everything in detail which at first sounds amazing but when u get the test wow make sure you do the end of the chapter exercise very difficult exams

He's good people. Class is very straightforward with no surprises. Grade is wholly based on 3 exams (40-50 MC each). Attendance is optional and he announces his exam dates on blackboard so you can basically just read the book and show up for the exams. If you do want to attend the class he is excellent at explaining the concepts in laymen's terms.

I would take him for any other class. Grading is fair.

He was great. I needed 1 course of econ and prior to this took 102 with an awful prof. So I was not looking forward to this. However, Rezvani explained everything in simple terms and I learned alot. I also found the class to be quite interesting. Study the txtbook and do the questions at the end of the chapter and you'll do fine.

Don't listen to what other people say, his tests are not that hard. They're really based on what he teaches in class, so attending class and actually paying attention is really important if you want a good grade. Make sure you don't disrespect him (texting, sleeping, talking etc.) he comes down really hard on people who do.

BEST ECON PROFESSOR EVER!!! Just go to his class and write good notes and you will not even have to open your book!! He explains so well that you do not need the book, just listen and understand and you will do well. Take him!!!

The things he covers in class he does so pretty well using a lot of examples, but when it comes to the exams, the questions are a bit confusing and more detailed. The lectures don't really prepare you well enough. Attendance isn't mandatory though and you can do well if you teach yourself using the textbook, which isn't too difficult to understand.

Everything he teaches he does a great job on but when it comes down to the tests its different material. He is a good professor nothing special. Try other professors in qc. There was 2 exams each 30 percent of the grade and 1 final which was 40 percent of ur grade.

He has a foreign accent but it wasn't a problem for me. I thought he was an amazing explainer and he taught from the book. Tests are all multiple choice. It far from an easy class but if you try hard you'll do fine.

His explanations are much clearer than the book's so I suggest going to class. The MyEconLab questions are ESSENTIAL for doing well on the exams. I suggest reviewing them twice per chapter before every exam. If you understand those problems his exams will be straightforward. Also his curves are crazy; my 91 final avg netted me an A+

econ 101 summer 6 week course. Rezvani is a good prof who clearly knows his material. There's online homework which is pretty easy. The tests are not super easy, but if you study the material you can definitely get an A. There's also a curve at the end of the class.

Rezvani is arguably the best professor in the Econ dept. Such a nice guy and lectures are VERY clear and interesting. Clearly knows his stuff and he will help you out a ton! Homework is done on my Econ lab and is really great practice for the exams. Tests can be a little tricky but they are all multiple choice and there is also a curve at the end.

this prof is great! i took him for macroeconomics and it was great! he is clear, knowledgeable and not so difficult. as long as you do the homework's and read through the chapter before the test you can get an A. Im def taking him for microeconomics in spring!

Professor Rezvani is a great professor. He knows his materials and explains what you will need to know for the exam. He assigns online homework once a week which is an easy 20% grade booster. Professor Rezvani is a great professor! His lecture is very clear and makes you understand Econ 101. There are 3 exams (2 midterms 25% each, and a final 30%). He also gives online homework (easy 20%). If you come to class, pay attention & take notes, you will do great. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PROFESSOR REZVANI.

Tests aren't hard if you go to class or read through the chapters. The textbook is written in a way that student can easily understand by just reading the chapters. Almost everything could be easily understood by just reading the text and chapters aren't long. He doesn't put many complicated or tricky questions in the exam.

you can easily pass the exams either by attending his lectures or by reading the book. Tests were not hard, they were fair and based on what he taught. Hw is online and helps boosts your grade and helpful for exams too. His lectures help you understand the materials clearly and he always makes time to give a well organized review before the exam.

He takes a relative difficult course and makes it very manageable. What's sets him apart is his very clear, methodical and well paced lecture. His test aren't exactly cake-walks but good note taking and studying the homework should bet you a above average grade. Doesn't really smile and can seem to be overly serious but he's actually very nice.

I took him for 2 consecutive semesters. If i see his name on a class that i need i wouldn't think twice to enroll. Definitely not an easy A. But his lectures are crystal clear and make studying for tests fast and easy. 2 midterms 1 final and weekly online HW (20% of your final grade). If you read the chapters and do the hws you will be fine.

Great Prof. Explains things in a clear concise manner. There are three tests, 40 questions each but he gives a review. It is important to do the readings. Homework is done on MyEcon lab. They also provide a study plan that is extremely helpful for the tests.

He makes the materials understandable and he respects his students well. I wish he would teach more courses that are required for me to take because he's that awesome !!!

Doesn't care about attendance.

Best Econ professor ive taken yet. VERY clear lectures and explains theories and models very concisely. He does give Online Homework but his Exams are what he teaches in class. Important to do the homework as it's great practice for the exams. He is honestly one of the best professors in the entire Econ department in my opinion, a must take !

The best !!!!! Absolutely amazing

In class he is amazing. Not one second is wasted. You get the info you need to know and go home. The ONLY bad part of this class is the online part. There are weekly online hw/quizzes which if you screw up will send you down a whole letter grade. However, the midterms and final are almost exact replicas from the online questions.

I truly enjoyed this class. Homework had to be done by due date. He was passionate about the lectures. In order to pass, the testing was based on the lessons taught. You have to understand the formulas.

I would recommend recording his lecture if possible. Its way easier than going over the book. Lectures are important because they explain stuff better.

The prof. is very knowledgeable & help students understand concepts, formulas, etc. by simplifying it. He doesn't take attendance and he puts up all the chapters (in power points) online but if you want to better understand it, I suggest showing up for the class. HW's are given after the completion of each chapters and 2 test with a final.

Great professor, have taken this class before and dropped it but Prof. Rezvani is by far the best economic professor out there. This professor is amazing. His lectures are clear and easily understandable. He does review sessions before every exam and final covering most of the important informations. The exams are straight forward MC questions, none of that short answer type questions. Sometimes finishes class early if he's done with the material for the day.

Farahmand Rezvani is a great professor, he teaches straight from the Powerpoint slides and all the information for the exam are on there. As long as you go over the slides and pay attention in class you can get an A in this class. He does assign online homework weekly but other than that the class is not hard and you understand what is being taught

One of the best professors I have had the pleasure to take and I don't even go to Queens College. Only came for his summer course to take Macro. He is very clear in every lecture and makes sure you understand the concepts by using good analogies. You should also read over the textbook to study and you should be able to get a great grade. Solid choice. Hw is all online, you get three attempts. Tests aren't too difficult: 30-35 questions, most are easy, but usually 3-5 are difficult. In typical QC fashion, a quarter of the class only shows up for the tests and fails miserably, which gives you a nice curve

Attendance is optional. Go to class to see what will be on the test. If you and a buddy take his class, you can alternate who shows up each week. Uses almost all of the lecture time (Sat only class). Final could of been a lot harder. HW is an easy 20 points toward final grade. Kids got below 20 because they missed the hw.

Professor Rezvani is amazing in lecture. LOTS of homework due every week but you get unlimited attempts. My issue goes towards his exam. THEY ARE HARD!!! The class average was around 60s. The only issue is his exams considering this is a beginner econ class but he's a great teacher that curves

Gives 2 exams worth 40% each. Homework was online and had unlimited attempts so as long as you do it before the due date, you will get an easy 20 points. Don't need to read textbook but will need online HW access pass which will have textbook ($58). All you need to do is study the homeworks alot and you will get a good grade on tests.

A lot of the things that you learn in class are from the textbook that and all the homework is from the textbook and the chapters discussed in class. If you do practice questions from the hw, that should prepare you enough for an 80+ on the tests. Prof. Rezvani honestly knows what he's talking about in class and if you ever need help you. Definitely come to class and you won't ever have to read the textbook. Tests come directly from notes in PowerPoint . He provides clear explanation of all the course context. Don't need to come to class and can pass through reading PowerPoints but very helpful to understand the context quickly through his explanations. Grading depends on exams.

prof rezvani is an amazing teacher he wants to make sure you understand what you are learning and by paying attention you will go very far in this class. homeworks every week make sure to do them to boost your grade. midterm and final so make sure you give yourself time to study he does not want to trick you but he does want you to learn. take him!

Amazing professor, very clear lessons, slides, and explanations. One final and One midterm plus the online HWs make up your grade. The downside is you have to spend 68 dollars on the online textbook and HW. The tests are not difficult if you study and do the HWs. He doesnt really walk around during tests so there are some cheaters.
