This professor is very helpful, and he really wants all of his students to do well in his class. He explains everything, and gives great study guides for each test. He gives 8 quizes throughout the semester, but allows you to drop three. A great teacher!

The hardest teacher I've ever met. The reason why he spends so much extra time with people is because he gives so much extra material. He makes you do the book and a whole bunch of worksheets. I guarantee all you'd have to do is MA180. Thats what I did and I still got a D, my first.I get A's and B's

Everything said about this man so far is true but what it boils down to is this: He is excellent for MA 100 and easier courses but NOT MA 180 where you want a teacher who is easy and not so detail-oriented. Take him for Elementary stuff, NOT pre-cal/calculus.

Can be easy and clear sometimes, but his tests were very hard for me. He assigns ALOT of homework. he does dedicate alot of outside time (review sessions) to try to help students, however i found them not too helpful. The class was very hard, because he made things seem overly complicated instead of simple and short.

Class us easy as long as you pay attention and do your hw. He helps you out when you dont understand and he goes over whats on the quizes and tests. Quizes and tests are tough. He gives students second and third chances to pull up grades. He can teach very well. Has corny jokes but you will not be bored in class.

Professor K. was an EXCELLENT professor because he truly cares about his students. He would give you his shirt if he could to see you do well. Do the homework and you will be just fine. Sometimes he could explain concepts a few more times, but don't be concerned if you don't understand the book. Just wait for him to explain.

His weekly review sessions are very helpful. Quiz every week, test every month...tutors at Math Center...and got scared of me when I showed him my accomodation letter.

freddy k is the beast. i am so serious take him please. he really wants you to pass. attendace and homework is not mandatory but they replace two quizzes if you do them both. but anyways great professor. his tests and quizzes are almost identical from last semester and he has them all posted on his website, even wit the answers on them. One of the best professors. If you need a good grade, there are lots of opportunities to make it happen. 5 tests; If you submit your homework, it worths 15 extra credits. If you have a low score on your previous test, following test replaces your previous test(w/o extra credit). There are 8 quizes. He drops 3 quizes. + a Review session every week

I took the advanced fast track this summer to refresh my math skills in order to take MA 110 or MA 116. It was fast and intense but Dr. K made it enjoyable! He is PATIENT and INSIGHTFUL! Listen to his stories and you will learn important life skills as well as math.

Dr. Katiraie puts substantial time in ensuring that all the students understand the material, and will take the time to thoroughly explain the content to even the slowest students. I never imagined that one day I would take a math class at college and not only enjoy the subject but also get so good at it that end the class with an A. The credit goes to Dr. K, my math MA110 professor. His way of teaching the course, has made it very easy for the students to understand the subject and tackle any complex problems.

For someone who never liked math and kept this course as the last one to graduate, I got so much confidence in me that started even helping some of my friends with their math work. Hands down best math teacher I have ever had. I've always been horrible at math (took MA 99/103 three times before barely passing) but I actually got an A in his class. He's an incredible, enthusiastic teacher. All he asks is that you be present, and he's more than willing to help you out. He breaks everything down and is very clear.

Dr. K is the best math professor at MC. Holds review sessions every week. There is a quiz or a test every week but he has his own website with practice quizzes and tests for you to study from. If you do the homework you get extra credit added to your test grade and the test itself has extra credit at the end. He's also very funny. Got an A.

I was afraid to take calculus, but this teacher really helped me get past that and now I can't believe I can say that math is no big deal! Gives many opportunities for you to improve your grade on test and is very organized.

Dr K is literally the best math professor I've ever had!!! If you are horrible at math you need to take his class. He explains everything so clearly and is easy when it comes to grading. Another great thing is that he is such a nice and funny guy.

Ok, think of a person who is really bad at math. That's me. I got an A in this class, my first A in Math ever. Dr. K is the perfect teacher, he is hilarious, kind and respectful. I learned SO much in his classes, I truly understood the materials, first time in my life, because of the awesome way he teaches. He provides many ways to boost up grades.

Pro Katiraie is kind, respects everybody, knowledgeable, and knows how to break down the materials/lectures in such a way that everybody understands. He give a lot of extra credit assignments, he tutor for free outside the assigned lecture/classes, he is available at the Ackerman center and his office to help students.

He provides two review sessions a week for an hour, outside of class time! Make sure you are in class, do the homework, attend at least one review session a week ! P.S. YOU DON'T NEED THE TEXTBOOK!

BEST PROFESSOR AT MONTGOMERY COLLEGE!!! Omg he is my favorite. He makes math super easy and always allowed anyone to ask questions. There are quizzes every week but hey they are grade boosters because they are so easy! The test are also easy!

If you want to pass calculus take his class. If you want to learn anything about math then take another professor. His teaching is confusing even though he is very knowledgeable about the topics. This professor rocks!!!! I've never seen anyone more caring for their students than Katiraie! He has review sessions outside of class hour the day before every exam/quiz and goes over what exactly is going to be on it! One of the most caring teachers at MC! Literally the best Math teacher I have ever taken. This is my second round taking MATH 150 since the first time i received an F... Right now I have an A and I have accumulated so much extra credit too. He explains everything thoroughly and if you need help he will go over it until you understand it. Quizzes and Exams are the same as study guides!!

Professor Katiraie was an amazing teacher! He would take his time to make sure the class understood the lessons. As long as you show up to every class and COMPLETE the mathxl assignments you will pass. He gives clear directions on what is expected. Be respectful and attempt to participate in class it will benefit you when quizzes come .

Professor Fred is one of the most hilarious ones out there. He makes math fun! Do not miss more than 2 classes (in a row) or you'll be struggling throughout the semester. DO YOUR HW and get extra credit :)
