She does not teach, she reads the hand out she gives you. She has trouble answering students questions. She does not really care about you, she just wants to do her job (which she hardly does). You will have to do A LOT of the learning on your own. She gives quizzes almost daily and throws it away if you leave class early. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS!

DON'T BE FOOLED BY HER PRETTY LITTLE PRINTOUTS (she rarely posts them on blackboard in a timely manner), she'll never explain the problems you have trouble with, she usually runs out of time explaining a section, she basically expects you to teach yourself. Don't waste your money.

DO NOT TAKE HER. As a person shes ok. As a professor, not so great. Very hard to understand. She teaches from these printouts that are not helpful at all. With out them she's lost. If you ask a question she is impatient and not clear if she even answers you. It's take it or leave it. Pretty much self taught myself from the book.Oh yeah daily quiz

DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS. She is a horrible teacher. She just shows u what your supposed to do without clarifying it. And when you ask for help she makes you feel stupid. I dont know how she got hired as a teacher. Everytime she has a lecture 85% of the class is asking if anyone knows whats going on. Ive never had such a horrible teacher in my life.

If you miss one class she hates you forever and gives you dirty looks the next time you show up. Her lectures are very confusing and she is very condescending when answering questions. If math comes easily to you and you love spending two hours sitting in a class room then take this class. If not, find another teacher!!!

Only a few weeks into the 12-13 semester and I already don't like her as a teacher. She is unclear and if you try to ask questions, she barely explains how to do the problems. And when she does explain how to do the problem, she explains it in the way only she can understand. The only thing I like is that her tests and quizzes are fair.

The worst professor ever at IVC. If you'd like to take Math 2 multiple times, take her class. If you'd like to pass this class in one semester, DO NOT TAKE HER. The lectures are extremely unclear. Basically, you are better off teaching yourself MATH 2 off the textbook than taking her class (and that is what you will have to do to pass).

I wouldn't recommend her unless you're retaking after 1-2x, if you'd like to pass this class in one semester, DO NOT TAKE HER. The lectures are extremely unclear, she goes too fast with no explanation, couldn't understand even if id ask her for help. You are better off teaching yourself off my mathlab and the textbook than taking her class.

I am terrible at math. Terrible. Needed to take this class to get into UCI. Well there goes another semester. Tests are incredibly hard. I studied too. HW on my math lab is pretty straight forward but had to teach myself every step of the way. Never could understand a thing she said in the the class. Wouldn't recommend her to anyone.

Strong accent Took this class in high school and passed with As. If you like online homework then this is the place for you.

Received A's on online hw and quizzes and D's on the tests, my answers were correct but she did not like my methods of solving problems so she counted them wrong. I can never understand her lectures and she acts annoyed when somebody has a question or doesn't understand. She changes her rules constantly, which is very annoying. Would not reccomend.

Worst teacher I've ever had. Doesn't fully understand what she's teaching herself and looks down on people who ask for help (then doesn't explain it anyways) Her tests are way harder than the homework and notes she gives. Don't take her unless you want to fail.

The professor seems like a sweet lady, but it was a bit hard to understand the lectures and get some concepts down. You will most likely have to refer to your textbook, the video tutorials on MyMathLab, or go see a tutor. More than half of the class dropped or switched classes :( Just know that you'll have to put in a lot of work for this professor

To start things off, her accent is extremely difficult to understand. After that, her lectures are extremely unclear and long. For example, the class will be starting a new topic and she will breeze through it as if this was everyones third time in the class. Hw? expect up to 130 questions with about 3 days to do it .She frgets we hve other classes

Honesty worst teacher I've ever had. It's sad to say but her accent is hard to understand. She gets mad if you ask several questions. 6 test and 6 quizzes. No study guides. If you come to class with questions, she blames you for not understanding the homework. Pick a different teacher. I used to love math, but she ruined that.

clear disconnect between teacher and assignments- Homework and quizzes are done through a third party online system. The homework and quizzes for particular sections is often due before the section is covered in class. She will change the due dates after the fact, but the lack of coordination and organization makes it hectic and stressful.

This teacher doesnt teach!! The only reason I did well was because of khan academy. She made an easy math class a lot harder than it needed to be. More than half of my class dropped out because it was so hard to understand the teacher. Do yourself a favor and take a different teacher.

I MUST WARN YOU, PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE: Avoid taking this professor and find someone else to take math with, or else wait until the next semester when the other better teachers are available--and register AHEAD OF TIME EARLY IN ADVANCE. But if you refuse my advice and want to receive a big F, then go ahead and take her class. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Worst professor ive ever had. i never write on here but I'm writing this after the final out of anger. I ended with a B or C depending on my last grade but she is the worst professor ever. does not care about students, is absurdly rude and disrespectful, makes concepts more confusing, and on top of that, doesn't let u use ur own method.

DO NOT TAKE HER. trig is not a hard course but she makes it a thousand times harder!! will take points off for no reason at all, example if u don't put ur signature on exam she takes 10 points off! 10 POINTS! IVC needs to fire her. so unacceptable. i am a straight A student, so i know that she is the problem

She is an uncaring teacher. The nature of the class isn't too hard, as long you put some hours into it. However, it's simply natural for something unexpected to happen. However, she doesn't care what happens to you. You can miss a week for a funeral and you would lose the entire week's credit. She's the worst teacher I've met Do Not Take This Class

One of the worst teachers I’ve ever had. The lectures are useless and on top of that she is a rude and uncaring to all students in the class. Unreasonable amount of homework and there was even a graded problem on the homework that she couldn’t figure out. I honestly have no idea how she still has a job.

Pick a different professor

Very bad professor, if you are able to study on your own you could take her class but I recommend to take other professor's class. When she teaching she was like talking something herself, it's not like as teaching to student. I am so weird about why college doesn't fire her. She never reply to student any question out of the class time.

Absolutely terrible! I read the negative comments before going into this class and thought I could handle it. I thought wrong. Absolutely nothing learned in this class. Like 100 questions due at the end of each week that are barely worth your grade. She will doc points for fun.

The absolute worst math teacher I have ever had. No office hours, doesn't answer questions over email, no extra credit, etc. Feels like she doesn't teach and just gives notes. Beyond terrible, do not take this professor if you want to get a good grade in your class. She was so boring to, her classes were the worst part of my week.

AWFULLLLL. The absolute WORST math teacher I have ever had. Please please do not take her. She has so much homework every week, its completely unmanageable. The homewokr assignments aren't fast either, each assignment takes around 30 mins to 2 hours. Boring classes, no office hours, doesn't answer emails. Don't understand how she still has a job.

Might be the most boring teacher I've had. She has a 3 hour lecture for a fairly low level math class. I ended up teaching myself the math because she seems to make it more confusing than it really is. She also gives a ton of homework each week, way more than is necessary. Also, If English is your second language she may be hard to understand.

I just wanted to start off by saying that I have never once rated a professor before and never really used RMP when choosing classes. However my experience with this professor was so bad I felt like I needed to at least let other students know that she is very unhelpful. She is very disrespectful towards her students.

Made me crash out on numerous occasions. Enough said.

Awful Professor

She is the most unfair professor I've had at IVC. There's a huge difference in how she treats students — if she likes you, you'll get a decent grade; if not, it doesn't matter how hard you study, she'll make you fail. She also assigns way too much homework. The exams are hard bc she doesn't teach well. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS EVEN AS A LAST OPTION, she sucks at giving lectures, and can never clearly explain topics, youre grade basically depends on if she likes you or not, the homework she assigns take HOURS out of the week, and she will litteraly make anything difficult I took trig with her and struggled. DO NOT TAKE HER AT ALL COST.
