Amazing professor. Faris has a very traditional teaching style that makes the material very easy to understand. He is very organized on Blackboard. His tests are fair, but not necessarily easy. He expects you to understand everything he assigns from the book and all lecture content. Be sure to attend his classes and approach him when you need ass.

Close to perfect professor to learn from. Lectures were crystal clear and concise, did a great job of mixing explanations and examples. Was helpful every time I approached him. Faris deserves all the positive reviews he is getting. He clearly cares about his students. He does an excellent job of distilling complex concepts down and making them easy to grasp. Lots of quizzes but they prepare you very well for tests so they are worth keeping up on. Amazing, Fair and respect.

I took his class TECH101 a few years ago but wanted to leave a review here as I wish more professors were like him. He approaching teaching in a way where he prioritizes your success. Professor Faris is probably the kindest outgoing professor I've had. He constantly repeats the important bits of his theory lectures to ensure we grasp the concept.
