Guys great. Very laid back very nice. You really have to try to not pass his class in my opinion. Just do the essays like 1 a week and you're guarenteed to pass. Good natured guy always says "Be Nice to Someone" at the end of class.

Hell of a nice guy! He's funny, uses colorful language, tells great stories that will make you laugh. His class is lots of fun cuase he makes it fun. As long as you do the writing assignments you'll get good grades. The only think I hate is the Book REPORT , that's a ****! But his class is fun!

Prof. Fatemi is an excellent professor. He knows how to teach and how to make a class fun! Just do the assignments and the book critique on time. You get the questions a week before the test. There is no excuse for you to fail.History is not my favorite subject but I learned a lot in his class!

Very interesting person, even if you dislike history. He makes history interesting. He's fascinating to listen to and you never know what he's going to say! He is blunt and amusing! And if that's not enough, what's better than staring at a beautiful older man for an hour and a half twice a week?

He is a fun professor. He makes my 3 hour class go by very fast. I never catch myself nodding off in his class, you do the work which is not much, go to class and you pay attention can be an A course. He's great.

Fatemi is one of the best teachers ive ever had. I learned alot from his class and he keeps his lectures fun and interesting. He often makes very good points and has a good sense of humour. I recommend him for west civ 1 and 2.Im not sure what other classes he teachs but they should be just as good.

Not only a nice professor,but is also a great comedian. West Civi is kind of boring subject, but he made the subject easy,funny and interesting all the times. Definitely one of the best teachers in BCC! There are only 2 exams, and as long as you study for them and hand in your assignments you'll get a good grade. His class is like being at a comedy show, he makes history fun!!

Fatemi's method of teaching is great and he will really get you interested in history. I hated history before taking his course and after taking it I have a new found respect for it... unfortunately his method of grading is not the best. Take him and be prepared for a lot of work which will be graded poorly, but you will enjoy his class.

I really liked this professor because I actually learned something, in 102, I hardly learned anything. Great professor. Only one paper which has to be 7 pgs. long. I got a B. Most students will earn a B. Papers every week only a page. He makes his class alot of fun and very laughable!!! TAKE HIM!!!

Took 2 classes with him. Fatemi, you are the man!!! If u need an A take Fatemi. 2 exams, gives u the questions to prepare a week before the exam. 1 book report paper. Very funny and personable. Clear lectures, answers questions clearly. However, he compresses info (easier to learn but less info). Stresses overall concepts + impact of history over dates/names. Essay tests are half the grade; he gives the q's before the test so he expects good answers. Other half of grading = easy assignments. Overall, noy bad.

This is by far the best professor you will take at BCC. He has great methods of teaching and makes all the material clear and informative. Always makes it fun and is a easy grader, it is impossbile to get anythin lower than a B+ unless youre lazy. In short, if you care, he'll care and you will have a great experience all in all =)

His is the easiest prof! but hard grader.. one page 2 assignments every week and a research paper which is a book critique. also he gives 2 tests which are in essay form. he expects you to write alot in the tests or he lowers your grade.....I did all the work but got a C, the highest grade in class was B. he is a really tough grader...

This professor is the best! not only do you learn about history but many other fun subjects too. a little more assigments than usual but there not that hard to get through them. I really enjoyed being in his class. funny, laid back, and has a good heart :) and if theres alot of students in the class he wont make you do the oral presentation! cool b

One of the best teachers I have ever had makes you interested in history. His lectures are witty and informative and he always lets us out of class pretty early. He gives prizes for A's so don't be surprised if you get a coupon for a free jar of tomato sauce.

I hate history, but I liked his class. The lectures are interesting and easy to understand and he always tells stories. Every week there are 2 papers due. They are a page each and are on an article, movie, or woman. They are easier but annyoing to do every week. There are only 2 tests, the final and midterm. He gives you the questions ahead of time

He's funny & entertaining that i will give him credit for and his 7 page book essay is a complete joke and u have to write 2 page essays every week, BUT be warned he prefers quantity over quality in his exams, you only get 2 exams for the entire semester and if you blow one don't expect an A+ no matter how much effort you put into the final exam.

Brilliant. His tests are somewhat difficult because he has very high expectations of your written work, but the homework is really easy and his lectures are beyond entertaining. He also has a knack for relating to his students and you can tell he really cares about each of them. Offers great insight. One of the most intelligent men I've ever met.

Fatemi is a great professor!! He makes his 3 hr class easy and interesting. Do all the assignments, they're an easy A and for the tests please look it all up and study it! thats the only way to pass. He said book isn't necessary but it did come in handy for tests

Awesome guy, taking him in the summer and he is so easy, I recommend taking him. Only gives out two tests (Mid term & Final). He gives out assignments that are normally due the following week. If you don't do the assignments you will fail.

Trust the other ratings: he's fun! His attitude may seem a little rough around the edges, but he knows how to incorporate humor in his lectures! He makes ancient history easy to understand. He gives a paper for or two for students to write each week and a test once in a while, so the work is fairly light. Just be on his good side and you'll be fine

Unlike most professors playing "intellectual," he knows he's not at Harvard & he'll teach accordingly. He finds the most interesting videos to show, his lectures are simple but extremely effective. I forgot almost everything I learned in most classes, but I remember everything he taught. Also, his life reminds me of the Dos Equis commercial guy.

Pro. Fatemi is hilarious, great speaker & really knows his stuff! Always has life stories that make class more engaging and his personality is awesome! Midterm & final are so-so; have to study (it IS college) and many one page summary & opinions. Expect to have a great time with him as your instructor.

Had him for History 101 & History 102 this semester. One of the best professors at BCC. Lectures are very informative & the best part is his unfiltered sense of humor which makes him incredibly funny. He's absolutely hilarious & doesn't take himself too seriously like many of the other wannabe Ivy League professors do at BCC. Take him!

History isn't really a strong subject for me and he was super helpful and clear during lectures. He only assigned 1 page papers every week and we have a midterm and final. If you can't write essays his tests will be difficult for you because it's strictly writing everything you know about that particular topic. I would recommend.

Good, kind hearted man. The class was struggling so he assigned easy assignments for test grades so we could boost our grades. He also always asked me about my injury, nice guy.

If you need a history class that is fun with a professor who truly cares choose Professor Fatemi. I have him currently for summer 1 the guy is a genius he has a unfiltered sense of humor which makes his lectures fun. He gives one page papers per week about the subject matter studied in class he is definitely one of favorite professors.

I took Western Civ to Reformation with Professor Fatemi. I took his class in the summer so the course was about a month long. We wrote three 1 page papers a week. Watched DVD's once or twice a week and wrote a paper on them. Took 2 tests which were not that bad. He has a great sense of humor and made the lectures very interesting. Great professor.

Dr. Fatime was one of the best professor I had in college. He made learning so much fun and his knowledge of history was outstanding. I highly suggest everyone take his course and will remember him for rest of your life.
