He is not a person who evaluate, he is a person who help you to get inspiration. All exams are open-book. I've enjoyed his class. My major is Psych, but I hadn't decide sub-field for 4 yrs until I met him. He helped me to see what I want for my future. For me, He is not only a teacher, but also mentor who inspires me. I'll take his Psych15 class.

Definitely would recommend Prof Moe! He is clear, very understandable and all work is done in class so no homework. He gives a very good review right before taking exams. Some might say he's too nice. You must get the workbook, since the worksheet and notes are in there, but not the textbook.

Dr. Mo is really, really, REALLY chill. He totally understands the college struggle so he doesn't assign homework. He didn't assign a mandatory textbook, however you should buy the work book since he uses that for his lectures and worksheets. Take this class if you need an easy one!

I would describe professor Moshrefi as clear-cut and well endowed with the knowledge of his field. He is very understanding of the lives of his students and considers them first-off which, in turn, reflects positively on his person. His curriculum is easy to follow, understandable, and is, most importantly, interesting. I highly recommend him.

Easy A! There's never homework, all of the 4 tests are open book and he drops your lowest test score, and gives extra credit just for you being there everyday and on time. He's also funny and entertaining.

I took him for summer,6 weeks. Professor Moshrefi is a fun, excellent, and easy teacher. For textbook use, you only need one book throughout the course & he will lecture you while going over the material with you. I took 4 exams but only the 3 best ones counted. You cannot fail this class, it's a fairly easy A if you pay attention & do the work

I took his course for the spring 2016 and I got to say he is one of the first and best psychology professors I have had. His grading is really flexible and failing will rarely happen as long you do well in his 4 exams which are really easy and he allows open book! no homework but participation is more extra points! highly recommended him!

Dr. Moshrefi's class was super easy. The notes are in a notebook that you buy from the bookstore, he just expands on the points in there and gives examples. Tests are open book so they are SUPER easy. I don't think anyone failed. He gives you his cell # in case you miss class. He's always smiling and is super nice and dressed up. Not challenging.

Professor Moshrefi is the most empathetic professor that I have EVER had! He's truly passionate about Psychology and it shows in his lectures which are interesting and fun. The professor has to be one of the best ever! He makes the class extremely fun and interesting. I took this course during winter so it definitely went by pretty fast. There is a lot of terminology to remember but because its so interesting you won't have trouble remembering. Oh and to top it off the professor is gorgeous and caring/ genuine :)

I thoroughly enjoyed this class with Dr. Moshrefi. Such an interesting subject in which he teaches extremely well, especially clearly explaining material that can easily become confusing if left alone. Very specific with details and concepts that are important to know. Above all extremely professional and u can see he really loves to teach.

My only regret about enrolling in this class was that I didn't enroll for the full 16-week semester. Dr. Mo is the freakin' man! He wants all his students to attain nothing but pure success. Genuinely the best teacher I've ever had for a multitude of reasons. Great, clear speaker and great at class involvement in his lectures. 10/10 would recommend twice. Just make sure to wait on books for his Psych 5 course, there's a chance you might not need the full textbook and can buy the course reader instead.

It has been more than a week since I last had him. I have come to the conclusion that no professor or any instructor can live up to the beauty that is Dr. Mo. Professor Mo has a huge heart for his students. As long as you show up to class, he will provide you everything you need to pass. The manual he uses for his classes can be used during quizzes and sometimes he even gives quiz questions ahead of time. I wish more professors were as considerate as he is. He made my semester so much more enjoyable.

Dr. Mo is a really fair professor and wants to see his students succeed. He's a hard-working yet easy going guy, with lots of interesting stories to tell. Dr. Mo is the easiest psych teacher I have taken. No textbook but there is a course reader. He reads directly out of it. Sounds boring but isn't. He gives examples of many of the topics discussed in class. All tests are open book and very easy to pass.

Best professor I have ever met. He is super chill and his class is easy. He already has the notes for you in the book and you just need to highlight the important details. There are 4 test but he drops the lowest one at the end of the semester. Test are open note/book so if you have the book you can pass the test easy.

Definitely recommend taking Dr. Mo if you have the chance. No homework, open note tests, and he even offers opportunities to help you out if you're a psych major. I dropped my other psych class when I saw Dr. Mo suddenly had a class available. I had him for Psych 5. This class is almost as good as when I was in his class for Psych 5.. the only thing that makes it a little less is.. you dont get to see him online.

Although the lectures are long, Professor Mo makes them go by quickly + the class is let out early most of the time. There are four exams, all open-book +quick multiple choice questions, which are non-cumulative. He also gives out the answers to test questions during lectures, and he lets you know. I would die for Dr. Mo. He is the kindest soul and I wish I was not transferring so I could hang out with him more. Three discussions every week, plus one write up assignment The discussions easy to understand you just have to use the book. Some goes for the write up assignments. Understand what you are learning in this class to do good on the exams. I took an online over the summer. You can learn more and seek his class in a classroom environment.

Took Dr. Mo's online course! Pretty easy tests this summer and easily graded assignments. Sets back due dates to exams/assignments. You have to buy a Course Reader which sets you back $80. No recorded lectures or in-person participation -- exam/work are straight from Course Reader. Wish the class was a bit more interactive but understandable!

I guarantee u wont regret taking his class. No textbook but handbook is required and the material is an easy and enjoyable read. Grading and assignments are simple and straightforward. And on top of that he can be flexible and understanding, just have communication with him. U will not fail his class as long as you are turning in work.

Just take his class. Pay attention to what he says will be on the test and BOOM you get an A. Don't overthink his exams they are pretty simple. You can tell he kind of has a lot going on because he seems in a rush to leave class. I think he also comes to class unprepared and teaches off the top of his head. But hard to keep eyes off him.

I really recommend this class. The professor is very patient and helps you if you can't summit something on time. You just have to buy the book and the semester is based on the worksheets and activities of the book.

Coolest professor around. I had a hard time getting my hands on my textbook because the school forgot to ship it to my house so I had to go pick it up during the pandemic. He was totally chill with it and gave me a time extension. Overall his class is easy peasy and there's literally no reason for you to not do the homework, such a long time frame.

You just need to study what he gives you and you'll pass with a high grade. It's a very stress free class and he definitely cares about his students. If you had any problems, don't be scared, just talk to him and he'll fix it. He's very understanding. And he'll answers all your questions very fast. He's also very cheerful.

Professor Farshid Moshrefi was a really great teacher. Given that I was taking this Psychology course during the winter term I was expecting the workload to be heavy, but it wasn't at all. The weight of your grade was really dependent on the exams, but if you studied the textbook they were very easy to pass. Overall great course!

Professor Moshrefi is one of the best teachers Ive had while being at El Camino. I had him for my winter term. He is straight forward and is very helpful when needed. He makes sure that whatever is on the exam is easy to find in the textbook. If there was another opportunity I would most definitely have him as a teacher again.

He is very understanding and wants you to succeed! The class itself is fairly easy and stress free as long as you study and do your homework. Overall I highly recommend taking this class!

Psych 5 over the winter was, as others have said, very stress free. The only thing you really need is the course reader (but Barrons AP Psych book also works as a supplement, the course reader is based off of that). No PowerPoint slides/lectures, all the assignments and exam questions come straight from the textbook. Exams are weighed heavily.

For his online classes it's very easy. 75 percent of his credit is from the tests and there's 4 of them. I accidentally missed the lazy exam and he let me retake is graciously! He's very very kind and understanding! I never got to meet him since it was asynchronous but I'm very glad I took his class.

Looking for a good psych professor? Take Professor Moshrefi! The class is laid out very neatly. There is one exam for each unit, so four in total. There are around 3-4 worksheets assigned for each unit. There are a few write ups, but they are straightforward. The course reading & slides he provides will definitely prepare you for the exams!!

took him during winter. super easy course, but also very informative. we used a course reader that got straight to the point. no huge boring textbook filled with meaningless stuff we don't need to know; just a reader that he wrote, which included the most important things. the reader is so useful, i still refer to it and will continue to use it.

Pysch 101 with Moshrefi is a breeze. Fully online, so not much interaction but if you read the book, and do the activities you will pass. He emails back pretty promptly which is nice. Would definitely recommend, it does not require much work or studying at all, but you can still absorb the material.

Purchasing the book (written by professor himself) is needed. All of the homework is in the book along with quizzes. The book is great, you can tell he thought about his students when writing this book. It is easy to learn from and has literally all of the answers to everything in it (no tricks) ! I ended with an A- and I learned a lot :).

I took Professor Moshrefi's class back in Spring 2022 and it was the EASIEST class I took that semester! It was an 8 week course with 4 tests, 3 were very easy with the answers located in the workbook, with one being a bit harder due to the fact that it required more critical thinking. easy a, you have to try to fail. the course reader is $85 i think but i thought it was pretty interesting. exams are open note, but read the book thoroughly since the grade is mainly your test scores and one mistake can really mess it up. he seems to be very caring. take him!

This professor is the best to take for an easy A. I took him online and he only assigned a couple pages of the book due about every 3 weeks. You get so much time to do the work and its all out of a workbook, super self explanatory. Although he doesn't answer emails that fast, I never really had to ever email him. This was an asynchronous class. As long as you read all the textbook material and complete the assignments, you will do well in the class. Professor does not interact with students very often, however, he is responsive if you reach out to him.

I forgot to submit an entire section and explained everything to the professor; he was very understanding and gave me more time to submit the work I missed. If he didn't help me, my grade would've gone from a B+ to an F with no more assignments able to bring it up. The exams (4 in total) count a lot on your grade but are pretty straightforward.

Truly the easiest class to exist. The textbook is expensive in my opinion as it sounds like a 5th grader wrote it. However, if you're looking for an easy A it's worth it. Total of 4 exams (100 points) do the reading and you'll pass.

Indeed very easy! You have to read though and it is kinda time consuming but you will have a lot of time to finish all the assignments its an easy A

very easy class. all the assignments and activities r in the textbook and the exams are heavily based on the textbook as well. there is one or two discussions each unit. he allows almost an entire month to work on each unit, giving us plenty of time. make sure ur taking your time during the exams bc they r the most important part of your grade.

Took this course for Winter Term, the professor provided a textbook containing information and activities to do. All the answers are in the textbook they created. Overall, the course was easy... take notes and familiarize yourself with the material and you'll pass.

Good professor and set up but not worth the extra $90 for the textbook. The book used for the class is only sold at the school and is $95 after tax. It's a really informal book and doesn't relate to the tests. You can't take the class w/o buying the book. Just not worth it imo.
