Took her online - her quizzes are not representative of homework. Expects each student to learn every single objective, while only assigining 1-2 problems per objective. Quizzes online were set up incorrectly, some did not contain graphs or visuals. some only had 1 answer listed - but it was wrong. Do not take online!!

Please NEVER take this professor. she is Absolutely the WORST professor I've encountered so far. She DOES NOT care for the students; never explained clearly or advised us to get tutoring for help. She never responds to emails either. She NEVER gave us a copy of the tests so we could review our mistakes..This professor should NOT BE TEACHING.

I had to drop this class and i agree of what people say here about rushing, unclear, is what it is b/c i am telling you - says that couple of times. Just waste of time. Look for another instructor but for sure if you go right now names wont show up until 2 weeks or 3 days left to college starts.

ONLY take her if you want an extra 10 points on your exams for showing up every class. Her speech is atrocious. She rushes through everything and if you ask her a question she will tell you "because that is how it is" WITHOUT EXPLAINING IT. Take her if you need the extra credit only. You will have to teach yourself a lot of the material.

I would not recommend her. I am actually frustrated that I enrolled for her class. You have to go because of the extra points ofr attendance, but do not expect to learn from her because she is not helpful at all! I am studying by myself to find out how to solve the equations.

Has absolutely no interest helping or teaching. I took the online Statistics class. It's possible to get a decent grade but be prepared to completely do it yourself. Does not help if you have a question. Takes a few days to reply to any e-mail. Her replies are short, rude and useless. Worst teacher I've had so far.

I have taken online 12 weeks class and it was not easy. The whole class is online through mymathlab, but when I had a question regarding the home work the only help I got was it will cost you grade. The only way I was able to pass the class was by watching lectures on youtube. I would not have passed this class any other way.

This teacher is bipolar! If this is the only teacher left, find another community college unless passing is not your goal.

She worst Professor in HCCS. Send email dozen times no answer and she does not want to give her phone or Office Number. Stay Away.

I did ok in this class only because I had a tutor. She explains things in a way that makes it more complicated instead of easier. When you ask a question she answers a different one because she doesnt get what you are asking. DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR! She was also VERY rude to the students - wont even let you leave for the bathroom

Online test are timed, if you need more time than normal when taking a math test I would not recommend this class.

Who in the right mind would put all the tests and quizzes on online!!! Useless teacher,I have ever met in my life!!! She is not very clear with her lectures!! She expects you to be a math genius. looks like only there to get pay check. Not worthy of my time.

I made the mistake of taking trigonometry online. It's basically a self-study course where the "professor" doesn't do anything but modify due dates and open exams and quizzes. I can't rate her because to me she wasn't a professor, merely a robot. If you can't teach yourself math, don't take it online.

This Professor was very tough. I took it online. Will never do that again. She is a poor communicator. Responds super late to emails and very short. She will respond with one or two words after you have sent her a whole paragraph. Doesn't seem to really care about students. The work load is unreasonable in connectmath. Way too much to learn.

This teacher will rush through her class, half of the students dont understand her class. She talks to the board so if you wanna sit there and text she wont even notice. She is very difficult to understand. Personally wouldnt recommend.

SHE SUCKS. IF I HAD'NT TAKEN PRE CAL FRESHMAN YEAR I WOULD'VE FAILED THAT CLASS. Not trying to brag but im literally the teacher in that class. All my classmates come up to me during her lectures and i just tutor cause she goes to fast. I've had to correct it so many times that i think she hates me cause she always makes me sit in the front.

For an online class, she requires students go out of their way to take tests on campus, which is odd considering she is too lazy to grade the excessive amount of homework she requires or even reply to her emails. Awful course, awful teacher. Never take any of her classes.

DO NOT take her! She's a very tough grader and unfair in my opionion because in tests you have to show all of yourwork. If the answer is right but you get a number wrong while showing your work she will count the question wrong! in order to get the question correct everything has to be perfect. theres no guessing.

This teacher rushes lectures like everyone is a GOD at Math. 95% of my class were confused and annoyed by her. Asking questions in a nice way will give her an attitude. TONS OF MathConnect HW that will leave you lost. Does NOT respond to any sort of e-mails or msgs. A+ student, I'm currently at a C-. COVID-19 made it worse. 65% dropped her class.

Only take this class if you are interested in teaching yourself how to learn math. She had many errors on her exams that she would not address until forced by emails to the Chair of the department.

Worst online class I ever take. The teacher have a bad attitude if you don't answer quickly the participation during class and the teacher is very exaggerated with students and doesn't have tutorial class if you have low grade which is not good. Do not take this class with the teacher this is the worst math class ever.

My god was this bad class. She practically mocks you if you don't understand what is going on, but then gets frustrated when you ask her to explain further. She clearly can't read the room, or she would realize that no one knows what the hell is going on. I was honestly glad there was so much homework b/c it was the only way I taught myself.

This class was not it, she doesn't explain things well and is not nice. She focuses more on calling on students in class to work on the problems than she does trying to teach everyone. I would avoid this professor it's not worth it you basically have to teach yourself

Her lectures are not good

Very fast, gets upset when you ask her a question because she feels like you are slowing her down. She's very combative and likes to talk over you.

Long story short, don't take her class. Doesn't teach only reads from her textbook with no kinda of explanation. If you don't participate she will mark you absent from class even if you don't know the answer. If you are a shy person when it comes to math, don't her courses. Lockdown browser for every quiz or exam. In-person exam BTW even if online.

She is not helpful and does not answer questions properly through email. She never sent out the tutoring schedule and had lectures on Mondays when I attended another class. Lectures should be scheduled and I should be aware of the time and date before enrolling in the course. I dropped the class because I did not want a second F for Algebra.

I would rate her a 0. Absolute worst professor I have ever had. Rushes through the material and gets frustrated if you don't understand or ask questions. Writes things down incorrectly as a "teaching method" but that is not effective for a class full of people that have no idea what's going on anyways. She is very rude and talks over students.

Teaching style is horrendous; randomly throughout the lecture as she's dumping information she'll write stuff down wrong just to see if people notice and get's annoyed if it's not caught as if we weren't "paying attention." The power trip is insane and doesn't pair well with how rude she comes off. If you can learn from textbook/HW you'll be fine.

The professor says that extra credit and attendance will help you improve your grades. Students tend to learn more from ALEKS than from her. Only because you know it doesn't mean the rest do. Later on, expect you to know. Try avoiding getting her.

Do not take this professor. The course isn't hard, but the workload is overwhelming. She uses AKLES, which has tedious, unhelpful tasks. Exams are in person, no laptops or phones allowed, and she treats students like kids. No leniency, no makeup work, and she's very strict. I aced everything but the long final—my A dropped to a B. No support at all

Not good at explaining and teaching the material. If you ask her anything she responds very condescending, and just repeats what she already said, instead of rephrasing it. I learned a lot more through youtube videos and joining EVERY SINGLE HCC study session than I did from class, and I was still barely passing the class. LOCKDOWN BROWSER needed.

Does not teach, just works the problem out loud. Makes lots of mistakes which confuses us. She doesn't respond to emails. Just a terrible professor overall.

Get ready to teach yourself algebra. All the teaching for the class is done through ALEKS which is required for the course. Home and some quizzes are done through ALEKS. Major tests and quizzes are done through lockdown browser with webcam. Due dates are firm no exceptions. Even when CANVAS was down extensions were not given on assignments

I mean she's nice most of the times, but academically she struggles to explain things clearly. Majority of the times we would correct her and made things even more confusing. You will always get the same vague response if you ask a question. In my opinion expect to do a lot of self teaching if you want to understand the material.
