Professor Campbell is new to teaching, but she has been one of the best professors I have ever had. She cares about her students and tries to get to know you. All of her exams were online and she cancels class on days that exams are due. She encourages real discussions between students, even if it means that she doesn't get to finish giving notes.

By far, the best Sociology professor ever. I really enjoyed this class & Professor Campbell makes the class fun! She doesn't post lectures on blackboard, so you have to go to class. I would definitely take this class again.

AMAZING! She's one of the most down to earth professors I have had at UTSA. You can tell she genuinely cares about the success of her students, she understands what its like to be in our shoes and she's part of an amazing new generation of professors. Our exams were take home, essay formatted. Follow her schedule, do your work, it'll be a breeze.

The work that I did for this class was entirely written, which does not bother me at all. However, she lags in posting grades electronically. At this particular point in time, she has posted only 3 quiz grades but I took a quiz #7 today. She loves giving quizzes (all written); for the most part, they are easy if you have read and done your work.

This class has been my favorite of my college career! This class is also an easy A! All the grade counts on is the 4 exams, 5 pop quizzes, and attendance but professor Campbell is so good about making class interesting! Lectures are fun because there is a lot of discussion and opinions that go on about current topics. I would so take her again!!

Campbell is an amazing professor! Her lectures are very engaging and fun. The tests aren't hard and neither are the pop quizzes (if you take notes, you'll do well on the quizzes) It was a very interesting class. I would definitely take her again.

Prof. Campbell is such a kind, and genuine professor. Her tests are based off of in class notes, and attendance is mandatory. However, she always kept her lectures very interesting with interesting videos. I would definitely take her course again. I thoroughly enjoyed going to her class every week. She is such a good professor. She doesn't share her opinion in class which i think is awesome since i've noticed many sociology professors state their opinion and push it onto students. I would take her again in a heart beat. Test are off the in-class notes so dont miss class.

Professor Campbell is by far the best professor I have ever had. She is very nice, funny, and really cares about her students. You take notes off of powerpoints while she lectures. You have 3 exams and a cumulative final-they are very easy and straightforward. If you attend class everyday and take notes from the slides, you will be perfectly fine.

This is the only class i like going to. the lectures are great and the test are online. she does take attendance and does pop quizzes but they're super easy but you have to go to every class to see if she gives it.

She's an awesome professor and is very passionate about her job. She loved waking up and come to work to her first class at 9 am. She's inspiring and very intelligent. She made waking up early easy thing to do especially on Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's. Her test are online and you can use the book. Not a very hard class. Just be in class.

Great professor! Lectures straight forward and simple. Takes attendance everyday. Weekly quizzes. No finale! all test are take home but must be turned in on time or points will be deducted every minute its late. Easy A, if you pay attention, participate, go to class, and read.

All tests are online. You don't come to class the day of the test (specific test Friday's). She is so sweet and engages the class in fun conversations. There are 5 pop quizzes but they are really easy. If you don't come to class and take notes you will fail. It's an easy A class for sure. She's the best!

She hands out take home tests which are free response but are easy to make 100s on. If you don't make an A in this class you probably didn't try AT ALL or didn't show up to class. Campbell is such an awesome professor. She does sign in attendance with random pop quizzes so you need to go to class. The exams are easy and open book online so make sure you do them ASAP! You literally cant fail her class if you just do the easy work and go to class. Shes beautiful and interactive with her students. Would love to take again!

As long as you show up to class you will pass, the tests are online and you get the day off when you have them. She does give easy pop quizzes and her lectures are really interesting. She genuinely cares that you retain the material you are learning about.

One of the best professors I've had my first semester of college. You have no homework, 4 pop quizzes that are extremely easy and open notes, 4 exams that are all online so it is as well open notes, and attendance is a grade. In class her lectures are alright but she does discuss topics that are of interest. Easiest class to pass.

she is a great prof, very good at explaining her stuff. all the tests are online and you can find most of the questions on quizlet. you don't need to read the textbook but have to buy it for the tests. her lectures are very entertaining and easy to follow along. if you have the option to take her you def should bc she is great.

Absolutely adored her and her class! Pop quizzes are frequent and not scheduled, but attendance is not mandatory so you pick and choose when you think she's going to give one. You only need the textbook because her exams are online and come with the ebook. You don't have to actually read it though, she covers all exam material in lectures.

Professor Campbell is my favorite sociology professor, she makes it a point to get to know everyone and is very personable. She lectures are a good speed and is willing to go back if you need it and test are all online. If you show up and take notes and even just somewhat pay attention you should get an A.

A really sweet professor. She knows what she's talking about and always makes sure everyone understands the material before moving on. There was only three online tests and no homework. Attendance isn't mandatory but she gives out 10 (easy) pop quizzes throughout the semester which is kind of like attendance.

Professor Campbell was by far the best professor I had this semester. She makes sure that you understand the material and the class discussions really help make the class interesting. She truly cares about all her students and wants you to pass the class. Also, if you do decide to take her don't miss any one of the 10 pop quizzes she gives.

Professor Campbell is an AMAZING professor. I took her Families in Sociology class and it was so fun. There are 13 open-book quizzes and 4 online exams. Exams are based on the powerpoints shown in class. She likes to include lots of class discussion so we can learn from our peers. Such an amazing professor and I would highly recommend.

You can tell she loves what she does and is very thoughtful of her students. The class itself was well-structured for anyone who goes by the syllabus. She shows meaningful videos to help show concepts. Her lectures are important so it is best to show up. Her quizzes are meant to help prep for a chapter ahead before the lecture. Loved her!

Prof Campbell is cool and her class is really interesting. It is a smart idea to take good notes during the lecture b/c most of the material covered in class will be on the tests and pop quizzes. The pop quizzes are super easy and are open notes. They are a way to make sure students come to class since she doesn't take attendance. Tests are online!

pop quizzes are a joke (and I mean that in the best way) shes there the best and her class was my favorite class of the semester, I highly recommend taking her, and textbook isnt mandatory, I bought one and never used it (RIP) and passed the class w an A!

Favor is very involved with her students during lectures. She tries to learn each of her students names which is outstanding in a class of 300. Her lectures are fun, she is very open minded and friendly. Beware of pop quizzes tho, theres ten in a semester, very easy though.

Professor Campbell is so kind. I would highly recommend taking her for any class. She works hard for students and really wants you to succeed. Her class is literally made for students, and you will very easily learn a lot. She even makes a point to stay up to date on the latest research which is great. I really loved this class start to finish.

This class could be a very easy A but I did not take notes for one of the exams which I got a C. Ended up with a B in her class for being a knuckle head. Beware of the quizzes, they majorly impact your grade since there are not that many points like other classes.

One of the easiest courses I've taken. She's cool. Don't really need book but it just enhances your experience if you want to take time to read it. Quiz each week. Very word for word out of her PowerPoints. Interesting lectures. About 30-45mins. About 3 papers that if you do it's an easy A. Extra Credit. Very generous just stay on top of things.

I had her for Families In Society and Health Disparities and honestly she is AMAZING! She makes learning so much easier and her lectures are always engaging and fun. Her tests and quizzes are super easy as long as you pay attention to her lectures and powerpoint notes you are all set! Def recommend this class I love her so much! Best professor

There's not enough characters in this to explain to everyone how amazing Professor Campbell is. She is one of the best professors at this school. Her class is incredibly organized, and her quizzes and tests are god awfully easy (if you pay attention to the work). She genuinely cares for everyone and it shows through the work she does for the class.

I loved Professor Campbell! She was super nice and her class modules were clearly set up. Her lectures were extremely easy to follow and she's super funny. Each week she required a one-page essay over any of the lectures but it was easy. There were tests for each lecture but they were like 5 questions. Also, some optional extra credit discussions

Professor Campbell is by far the best professor I have ever had! The work and lectures are quick and easy; you'll finish her work for the week in one sitting. All test/quiz questions are straight from lectures and she explains everything super well. She is super serious about cheating though so if someone gets caught she does give them a 0.

GREAT prof. As long as you turn in your homework on time YOU WILL PASS. She does NOT accept late work unless you can prove your internet crashed. All quizzes are based off the PPT she uploads. As long as you turn things in on time, you will be fine. If you have bad time management, then she will hold you accountable.

Loved this class! Shes a very great teacher and keeps the content interesting so that youre also learning. Shes very clear about her assignments and gives heads up for major grades. She doesnt take late work or much extra credit but if you keep up (not a lot of work, usually 1 quiz a week and assignments sometimes) you will do great. 10/10

Definitely my favorite professor by far. I learned so much from this class and she made the content super interactive and interesting. Her weekly quizzes and tests were easy. She is super accommodating and cares about the well-being of her students. I wish more people attended her lectures because she seemed bummed out when 70% of the class skips.

Very easy to get an A. She clearly says what she wants and gives good feedback. All the material that was taught is very interesting as well. You have weekly quizzes, and about three reflection papers and three exams.

this professor is one of the best at UTSA. The work isn't difficult at all, but you will still be able to learn a lot about the health disparities that exist in society. She gives really good feedback and actually reads the weekly reflection papers, something that some professors may just skim through and give 20/20.

Super easy class, not a lot of work. Grades are from weekly quizzes and tests every 3-4 chapters, plus two reflection papers and a film analysis. Attendance is not taken but there are 5 pop quizzes. You are required to buy/rent the textbook online, as that is where the weekly quizzes are taken.

She is an amazing professor and makes lectures fun by having discussions about relevant events. This class was very easy and only included weekly quizzes and 4 exams. The exams are open note and are usually based on stuff in the PowerPoints. She does 5 pop quizzes to take attendance throughout the semester.

Professor Campbell is a fantastic professor, and throughout her lectures, you can see that she genuinely enjoys what she is doing. Do not skip class because of pop quizzes (very easy), she is not a harsh grader, do not turn in assignments late, be diligent with your work, and you're guaranteed to make an A+. Quizzes and papers are easy as well.

She not only loves her job, but genuinely cares for her students. Her criteria is clear from the beginning and she actually reads what you write. She makes class interesting with videos and personal stories. You can get by without the textbook but all the lessons connect so try to review previous ones. The surprise pop quizzes are super easy.

I took health disparities as an elective and I do not regret it! The weekly quizzes are easy (just read the powerpoints and watch the short videos) and the occasional essay can be written on whatever interested you in the previous few chapters. I've never used the textbook so maybe don't buy it.

Prof Campbell is wonderful at explaining topics that some students may not be comfortable talking about. She attempts to remain very unbiased in her topic explanations and is very clear with definitions and examples. Everything is lecture based but topics are highly interesting. She engages with students and encourages questions. No extra credit

Mrs Campbell is HER. She literally doesn't miss on her lectures or anything. Her class for me was just amazing and she is soo charismatic. Though attendance isn't mandatory, it is definitely needed cause she do be popping out with some pop quizzes. Best teacher by far no doubt bout it.

i took this class online, but i've had her in person before. online was super easy, really enjoyed the content bc the class is so interesting. she's super fair & i always like how she teaches. i barely used the textbook for this class, don't waste your money if you can avoid it. weekly quizzes over the slides, 4 exams, 1 doc, 3 written papers

I loveddddd Prof. Campbell. She was funny, realistic, and very reasonable with our workload. Attendance wasn't taken but pop quizzes were given to mitigate attendance, which I think is fair because the lectures were interesting and informative. The material is easy to understand and very applicable to the real world. Would def take again!

The professor is very nice, the coursework is fairly easy- a weekly 15 question quiz with some exams in between. If you're not a big writer, find someone else because you'll have to write 2 two-page essays and 1 four-page essay.
