very helpful during office hours, i thought i was gonna hate that class but i ended up loving it!!

Goes over material slowly and clearly. Very helpful during office hours. One of BEST math profs EVER!! I plan to take him for every math class I can.

If math is not your strength take him. He explains things in a simple/clear way. His exams very similiar to HW.

Gives alot of examples in class. The more you do the better you get at it. Highly recommended!!!

Dr.Roumani is one of my favorite professors at the Math dept. I really enjoyed his class....if you do the homework then you should do well on the exams.

Very good teacher, but you must complete homework to succeed in this course! He always reviews prior to tests and always willing to help students with questions! Definitely recommend him if you are looking for an "A", so you skip to MTH-1105!

Since I have had Algebra 2 in highschool, this class was very easy, but for someone who is not familiar with the material, it may not be for you, because he does alot of examples but not alot of teaching. But, overall, he's good. I have an A+ so far.

teaches by showing examples, you will use My Math Lab for homework--its great!!! If you have trouble doing a problem, you just click on example and it will walk you through it. His tests are basically from the homework problems and he will review before Tests--PAY ATTENTION. No pop quizes. I would take another class from him.

Very good teacher. Very helpful. Reviews are the same exact questions asked on the test. Group quizzes, and homework on mymathlab help your grade alot! I highl recommend this teacher! Wish he taught 2300.

Roumani is an ok teacher. he know the material very well. his office hours are not very easy to get to. but helps you when u ask for it. He crams too much material when he is falling behind and with that said he gives lots of homework. he has no personality when he teaches it so i am not too sure if he hate the material or us not learnig it?

He can be very very very boring, but overall I liked him. He gets easily annoyed of students that talk during class or don't try. If you show that you care about the class then he will be very understanding. He has a heavy accent, but notihng that you can't get used to. Overall, he is a nice guy and a good teacher, wants his students to do good

I took his class last semester and he was very helpful to students. You need to do several assignments but they really help you to do exams. definitely a good choice.

Loved his class and loved the subject

Loved this class. I actually understood math for once. He solved problems multiple ways so that you understand and his review sheets are wonderful. If you do them then you know the tests and quizzes. I'm taking him again this semester.

this is a great prof. he writes everything on the board so you cant miss anything, group quizes, and he drops the lowest one. he will answer any questions you have. honestly he was pretty easy, deff recommended if you have trouble with math.

He writes down a lot of the material. But the notes are next to useless on group quizzes. And he never goes over them. He can be rude sometimes too. Ignoring some or arguing with another with a different point of view. He's okayish.

overall I have to say that this was a pretty good class. I didn't like the summer hours but I liked the class and the prof.

His style of teaching is helpful especially if you suck at math like me :(. No matter how many times you ask he will always explain the material until you understand it. Tons of examples in class.

He's a bit cold and is strict with grading but is fair about it and is a good teacher nonetheless. I'd take him again.

I took Mr. Romani recently. His tests were from study guides that he personally showed each step. No quizzes or discussions can be made up if missed, so if you are busy like me, it may help to set a reminder as I had to ! He was very responsive and seemed to care about your grade if you put your best work into it as we'll. I would take him again!

Since I didnt take math for a long time, I had to go to his office hours alot. He helped me alot and encouraged me to continue the class and not to giveup.

He's a great teacher. I strongly recommend him.

Currently taking his Into to Engineering course. He really wants the best for you, and will go out of his way to help you out. I'm impressed that he's so familiar with the autocad and working model, whereas other teachers have to consult their books. He demands respect in the beginning, but once he sees you're listening, he'll be your bud.

He is definitely a stern teacher, but he is amazing. His exams have a study guide and the study guide is exactly like the test. And he even gives you all the answers step by step for the study guide. If you listen in this class he will help you willingly and tell you not to give up, you can do it. I passed with an A in his class. I 100% recommend!

He is a very stern, but helpful professor as long as you put in an honest effort. You need to get help outside of class at the school's tutoring center if you're eager for the A grade. This REALLY helped a lot for homeworks and to review before Exams. Study guides are VERY similar to the tests. He doesn't trick you. He's a great teacher!

Extremely helpful when it comes to explaining the material. My class was very quiet and would not speak up when he asks "would you like to see how this problem is done on the board?" but he would show us anyway. He is understanding but expects you to follow along. Group quizzes (randomly assigned), individual tests. Not very hard overall.

One of the few down to earth professors that I had. His approach to teaching is practice and practice. The class is a lot of work but you get to learn a lot from him.

took calc online with him for the first time and set myself up to fail. HOWEVER, in class Prof. Roumani is an excellent teacher. My 3rd time taking calc & finally I was able to understand. Many students think he is too strict but so long as you participate & do your work you should be fine. Test reviews include the same questions as the tests.

I took Professor Roumani Algebra and Trig class last summer, and I was rather nervous beginning college with a six-week four-credit course. The week I barely understood anything but as I continued to study the class became easier. Our grade was 75% based on three test, but he gives out study guide which is almost identical to the test.

Amazing teacher/professor. He teaches you and tries to make sure you understand the material. His gives study guides that are similar to the test so as long you put the time in to study and do the occasional homework, you will be fine.

Dr. Roumani is a very good teacher. He likes when students participate in class by answering his questions. He encourages students to make mistakes in class so that they wouldn't make one during the test.

My favorite part about class is that we always go over the second problem, it's really helpful

Attendance is not mandatory but you won't pass if you don't show up. He is a tough-love professor and won't beat around the bush which can seem harsh, but usually fair. If you participate and show effort, he will help you if you're struggling. This is the first mechanical engineering-specific course so be ready for a lot of work.

He can be intimidating, but he is a very clear teacher. Demands participation and timeliness. Old school.

I liked Prof. Roumani for Mth 1120. The course itself was hard but he gives us exam reviews to do before the exam and if you understand how to do it then you'll pass the exams. We take a quiz weekly of the material from the previous class and he drops the lowest 2 scores. Do the MathLab because it's worth 10% of grade and don't skip class.

Dr. Roumani is very helpful but intimidating! BUT ASK QUESTIONS. He loves answering questions and makes sure you understand before moving on. He always asks "Got it all of you?" ALSO he quizes every week on stuff you learned the previous week. He tells you exactly what will be on the test as he posts test reviews online before the exams.

Math is not my strongest subject. But this teacher is very accommodating. He really wants you to do well. Quizzes and Exams are reviewed before taking so there are no surprises. Most of the exam questions are modeled from the study guide. Quizzes are given with material that was reviewed from previous classes. Take his class!!

Although Professor Roumani has a different type of teaching style, I feel that he was great. He took his time going through the material and really worked through the problems and examples. He seems stern, but he just cares about his students doing well. The exams are very similar to the homework and his exam reviews are extremely helpful!
