Amazingggg class!!!

She's an amazing teacher, you can tell she loves teaching too. Makes a normally boring class something to look forward to going to. Very helpful, gives plenty of chances to do extra credit, and it's usually something super easy. Her quizzes are mostly from the lectures (available online to print) and a little from the book. She's hilarious too :)

One of the best professors you will have in your college career! She makes learning fun & it's hard to get bored in her class.

Professor Allard is one of the best professor I've ever met in my whole academic life. She will make sure that you pass this class and will provide you with every single thing you need such as "power point, practice quizzes, exercises" in order to really understand this class with not a single issue. Faye Allard is the best and most interactive professor I've had at CCP. Her lectures are very clear and helpful. She posts her slides online in advance before class so you can print them out and study ahead of time. The clicker she requires makes the class more fun and interactive. Would definitely take her again. And she gives extra credit a lot.

This is by far the best professor I've had at CCP, she's hilarious, and an extraordinary professor. I had her for an 8 am Sociology course and I never fell asleep, that how awesome her lectures are. I definitely recommend this course she's extremely helpful, and cares very much for her students.

I loved this teacher! Her desire within the class is to help EVERYONE succeed. She gives extra credit and sometimes gives away answers. ALL TESTS AND QUIZZES ARE ONLINE AND OPEN BOOK!

You need a clicker but usually you get one from her for free & return it at the end; it is also needed for attendance. Quizzes are online & openbook. The lectures are fun & engaging! Very fun class

Dr. Allard's class was so interactive and so much fun. She explains things very clearly and has the funniest British accent and stories. You will miss her. Do all your work and you will do extremely well.

I love her accent!! She is from London. Faye is very well-organized. Students can print out powerpoint slides for every class. All materials are crystal clear and she is always there to help!

My professor is very English lady she loves to tell jokes she makes the class very fun so it's not boring and if you fall asleep it's just because you're tired butt this is the best teacher ever take her you will not regret it

Professor Faye is an awesome professor. She makes this class so fun and i love her accent. I love her lesson which is so easy and her quizzes every week is so so easy. So please take her class you won't regret it. She wants everyone to pass. I'm going to miss her class very much.

Her lectures are always great and she spells out just about everything for you in them. The quizzes and tests are numerous but they're all open book and open note. If you use the lecture slides she so helpfully provides and just add notes to them during class, you'll be golden.

If given the option to take Dr. Allard for any class, DO IT! Shes the best and super easy. She gave quizzes weekly, but they're online, homework was online & you can do them until you get a 100, only gave 5 actual papers & they were super easy, she is there to help. You are able to miss 2 classes without penalty. You really cant fail this class.

Couldn't have asked for a better professor at 8am. VERY clear, explanatory, fun, helpful, responsive and understanding. She's a real person (curses like a sailor) and treats everyone else as such. Lectures are broken up by videos, games, and group work, never dull. Clicker/participation is a must. You will not regret taking her classes.

She is good but her material a lot, you have to be carful ,she can trick you. Is not easy to get A . You have to know the material very good. You have to be carful special end of the semester with final exam. The final exam has a lot of questions. You to study hard to get A. She is good but she is tricky. The book is not clear to do her job. ok

Professor Allard is the sweetest professor ever. I took criminology with her and she made it a lot easier than it would have been. Gives weekly quizzes online but they are open book. Her papers are not hard at all. Take her class and you will not be dissapointed.

Took her for my 2nd time and loved Professor Allard, she is by far the best Professor CCP has to offer and definitely deserves to be recognized as one of the greatest Professors in the city. Her lectures keep you engaged and focused. She gives a decent amount of assignments based on the readings and her lectures, but quizzes are online/open book.

Dr Allard is one of the best sociology professor I have ever met at ccp. She is very sweet she explains her lecture to make you understand the basic. Dr Allard makes me love sociology until I think of changing my major. Her class is very easy . if you miss too many classes your won't pass. Dr Allard quizzes are open book and it on line.

One of the best teachers I've ever had. She is always upbeat and excited to teach. Puts a downloadable copy of the textbook online so you don't have to buy it. One homework online every week, always due at five pm on a sunday. Quizzes, tests, and the final are all taken online!

Dr. Faye is an AMAZING professor. She loves teaching & cares about all her students. The class is easy if you take the time to read her powerpoints (they're not boring at all) everything must be submitted online and uses a clicker system for points. Classes usually flew by because she has very interesting videos that go along with lecture.

Dr. Allard is great! Her classes were incredibly engaging, and I still find myself recalling information I learned in her class over a year later. She makes the class very fun, and the content you learn is very eye-opening. You can definitely tell that Dr. Allard puts a lot of thought into her class and that she truly cares about her students.

I had Dr. Allard for my Summer 2021, 7 weeks sociology 101 courses. If you are looking for a professor who is well organized and gives clear instructions, along with great communication, then I'd give Dr. Allard a try. Course workwasn't difficult, but make sure to stay on top of your coursework and you should be fine.

I was not looking forward to this class but I was thrilled to have professor Allard as my instructor. This class was fun and had so many great discussions and assignment. You must read and study, the exams are pretty technical since English isn't my first language, but everything is from the text book. You won't regret taking this professor!!

Technologically savvy, uses interactive slides called Nearpod! Lots of extra credit! Read the textbook (TIP: check the website libgen) and you'll do perfect. Genuinely caring, THE BEST! Probably the first professor I looked forward to actually meeting during office hours, so kind, understanding, and funny. I actually enjoyed writing some of those essays for the class and it showed with my grades. She even dropped some of my missed classes for doing an extra essay!

She was an amazing Professor, she made class interesting and had me looking forward to attending class. She actually cares about your education, there is no way you can fail since she gives extra credit and other opportunities to earn points.

I found dr. allards course to be quite interesting, the discussions were very informative. This professor seems to have alot of energy compared to most professors in "CCP." She is very caring as well. I would take her again.

She is so kind and understanding, I was so happy to be there. Her stories are engaging and help me remember the materials. It didn't feel like were just students and she was the overlord who held our education in her hands. She was kind and cared about us, our stories, and our personal lives. I loved this class so much.

I don't think I could say enough great things about Professor Allard. Her students are family to her end of story. She loves each one of her students and will support them both academically and emotionally. She's also funny tells interesting stories and makes all of her lessons fun. I enjoyed her class so much I took another one of her courses.

Loved Dr. Allard, she really cares and loves her students. Her lectures were also very informative and she had fun visuals/games that correlations with the section she's teaching on! Would take her again! However, attendance is super important.

I liked Professor Allard, do all you work, and you should pass. She accepts late assignments. Her discussions are more like actually assignments. Don't make any mistakes when submitting classwork, she will not change your grade. She also writes and talks a lot making you dread starting classwork. Other than that, she's very nice & easy to contact.

Fabulous summer class experience!! Really intriguing to learn from her!! AI is an absolute no no in her course. You will fail the assignment the first time and then the course if it happens again!! Two students failed for this. Absolutely no excuses if you do not pass!! She gives you all the resources and makes it easy.

TAKE HER BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY U WON'T REGRET IT. Calls her students her "lovelys" and "babies" - we don't see that kind of passion in teaching anymore. She loves what she does & you can tell by the way she teaches. NO AI. Allowed 2 unexcused absences, after that it is counted against you. Drops your lowest quiz grade. Gives great analogies

Professor Allard was awesome! She is extremely funny and she loves her students. She is there for you during tough times whether it's related to academics or something you're struggling with personally. Although, I am not sure how I feel about the subject. I don't like sociology but she makes it interesting with activities and informative slides.
