easy to get an a. all open book tests except very first. one easy essay. alot of extra credit. alot of group work.
SHE DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO TEACH. SAYS ONE THING AND DOES ANOTHER. HAD FINAL GRADES VERY MESSED UP ON LAST CLASS DAY. ALWAYS LATE TO CLASS. HARDLY NO LECTURING. MAKES YOU DO EVERYTHING. TOO MUCH GROUP WORK. CHAPTER OUTLINES FOR EVERY CHAPTER.
She was a little lost, but it was an easy class to pass!
Distance class. Talks off topic at seminars, very little prep for test, hard to know what's expected, overall low test scores.
Great ITV instructor - gives a test review and curves the test. Great class to take!
Awsome ITV class. The test review seminars are very detailed. She curves the tests making it easy to make an A in the class. I made an A just using her test reviews and watching the videos. I didn't buy any books for the class.
ITV class. Gives very detailed, question-by-question reviews. If you attend the review seminars and know the material on the review sheets, you'll have no reason not to have an A.
I recommend attending the two offered seminars for a total of 20 extra credit points. At the seminar a review sheet is provided and she will briefly go over some of the answers the rest can be acquired through reading and video learning. In order of importance...study the review sheet, practice exams and terminology.
Well, I never really saw much of Prof. Watson because I took the class through DL. Pretty easy to pass the class, don't forget to go to the lectures for extra credit to score some extra points.
I took the tv course and it was super easy. I barely even watched the videos. I just looked over the study guide and answered all the questions on the review sheet and it was a breeze.
Took it ITV. Recommend it. Read the text, do the chapter quizes and attend seminars and you'll do well. She gives out study notes at the review seminars and 5 extra points. If you can do the chapter quizes and answer the study note questions you will do very well. She is very knowledgable and enjoys teaching the class.
Took the ITV class if you answer all the questions in the review and go over the questions in the study guide you will get an A PERIOD.
I took her for ITV Texas Govt. You must go to the seminars if you want to do well in this class! I got an A & have no interest in the subject. If you don't go to the seminars, it will be hard to make a good grade because of the amt of info.
I took the ITV course. Extra credit awarded for attending review seminars where you obtain your test review sheets, doing these are a MUST, as test questions come directly from the review questions. She did grade on a curve, as long as you do what is needed, there is no reason not to make an A in this course.
Mrs. Watson is obviously very intelligent and knows her stuff, but I just cannot hear her at the seminars at all. She doesn't offer any assignments for the online course, so everything is really self directed. I can see a potential for me to learn in her class, but without being able to hear her or do quizzes, I am finding it harder than I should
ITV Really easy. GO TO THE SEMINARS, you get extra credit, she gives you the review (can get at the libraries if you miss seminar), and gives you some of the answers. DO THE REVIEW! TESTS ARE WORD FOR WORD IN THE SAME ORDER OF THE REVIEW! Most of the answers for the review come from the telecourse study guide so get the book!
I am taking the ITV course. Go to the seminar and get the reviews for the tests and she will give extra credit. The test questions come straight from the review and the student guide book (word for word). An easy A if you aren't interested in government!
Great teacher, as long as you go to the seminars and do the test review you should do fine, also get the telecourse study guide and you should have no problem!
Easy A! I took ITV If you go to the review you get extra credit and the test is over the review. This class is ridiculously easy if you just do the review! The teacher is also really nice and very understanding. TAKE THIS CLASS if you have to take a TX Government class!
Took ITV class..super easy if you do the work. Gives a review for every test and 5 extra credit points for each review seminar you attend. Tests come directly from her reviews.
She's an excellent Professor. Just listen and read and follow your course book.
The class is easy. Test questions (100) come directly from test review and practice test, which she gives to you. Review sessions are worth 20 extra credit pts. If you actually talk to the teacher, she will only repeat the syllabus to you, don't expect sympathy from her. Easy A.
Very nice and understanding, study the multiple choice from the study guide, and study the reveiw, and you will get an A. drops 1 out of 4 tests. 100 question multiple choice.
EASY CLASS! Took her for ITV summer and the tests are straight from the review book and the review she gives you. There is really no reason you can't get an A in here. Extra credit is given for going to the seminars, so that helps too. If you need Texas government Ms. Watson's ITV class is the way to go :)
This was a rough semester! :) I signed up for the 4 week summer class, which turned out to be three weeks. :( The instructor offered a seminar that was worth 15 additional points towards your grade. Everything from the test came directly from the book. She provided test reviews that I used as I read the book. Not a bad class for 3 weeks of GOVT
Govt 2306 ITV This class was super easy! When I took this class on line I had to drop it because I was going to fail. But With Watson's ITV class all you have to do is study the reviews and practice tests and you'll pass! Never once oped the book.
This 4 week class on-line class was not easy! She did offer a study guide for the exams but no additional help. There was a seminar worth 15 extra credit point but it was very hard to understand her plus she went fast, so it was useless. I do recommend taking her, just not in a 4 week semester, if so, make sure this is the only class you take
mrs. watson was super easy and very very understanding... take her itv course..
ITV class was super easy. I just hated the book and how liberal it was. It was obvious that the author slanted his views to the left and it made me angry ready it. Ms. Watson seemed nice enough. She is soft spoken so sit up close for the seminars.
Good teacher. I took the ITV class. You do need the study guide for the book, some of the test questions come from that. As long as you study that and her reviews, you can't fail. I'm making an A in that class right now. She also curves the test grade quite a bit. If you fail, its because you tried to fail.
Easiest A I've ever made in college. Just do the review and study guide tests and you're guaranteed an A on the test. Usually curves the test grade. Offers extra credit by going to her seminars, which I highly recommend. If you're lucky, your classmates will post review question answers on the discussion board. Take. This. Teacher!!
I took the ITV class. It was very simple and I got a high A. She gives a study guide two weeks before the test and that is pretty much what is on the test. Also, learn each practice tests from the study because those questions will be on there too. Great teacher, highly recommend.
These class was one of the easiest classes I've taken. You just need to study the review and study guide and you will have an A++.
IF YOU DO THE LESSONS AND THE STUDY GUIDE, AND IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS MS.WATSON ANSWERS IN A TIMELY MANNER. AND MOST OF ALL SHE'S ROCKS BEST AND FIRST ITV CLASS.
EASY A. My three tests, I got a 95, 97, and a 96. My average was a 104 due to the EXTRA CREDIT (15 pts)seminar GO TO THIS!!! She gives you pretty much all the answers to ALL the tests. ALL the tests are EXACTLY the study guide and what she tells you at the seminar. EASY A.
I took her ITV class during the summer. She gives you the reviews which are basically her tests. Also, DO the study guide practice tests b/c half of her test questions come directly from them. Also, she gives a review session for extra credit. I studied about an hour or two before each test. I made a 98% with little effort. EASY A!
She is AWESOME!!! I took this as a summer class, only 4 weeks long. There was 3 test all of which were taken on campus. Questions come from the review and from study guide. 100 questions on test. Just memorization. Best class ever! I got a 100 in the class. She offers extra credit for going to a study session. Good luck:)
Take her, Take her, Take her! I took her summer class. Only 3 tests which come straight out of the study guide. Just memorize it and you will make an A. 100 questions on the test but all multiple choice. I made 97, 98, and 98. I didn't attend her extra credit, but if you do, it is extra credit. Grades on a curve. I made over well over 100% overall.
The tests had questions that were NOT on the reviews! only 4 grades in the class but these tests are 100 questions each, with similar answer choices! I would have done better in this class if I did not have a full time job and could spend everyday studying and were able to memorize every bit of information i read!
Ms. Watson is so sweet. She has review sessions for extra credit, drops your lowest test score of the 4 7 there is never any homework. Make sure you study the guide.
my comments apply to her itv course: there are many questions that show up on her exam that are not on the review or on the student course guide. when she has a on site review for the review, she speaks very low, doesnt identify the question number she is asking or its source and wastes time on chitchat. she is okay, i still plan/hope to get an a.
You might as well just stay at home and read the book, because you can hardly even understand her and she doesn't go over anything that will help you on the test. I think that's the reason she gives pop quizzes, so you'll actually show up. Slept through this class every day and made an A. If you want to learn something, find someone else.
Took her ITV class. I never bought the book and just watched the videos the day before I took the test and got a C in the class. If you choose to buy the book and pay in the videos you'll do just fine. You are welcome to attend her seminars and go over the review, I didn't have very much time so I don't know if they were helpful or not.
I took her itv and i made a c in her call it is a pretty easy class if you study the review and do the work in the work book you dont have to read the book and go to her siminars that is extra credit very helpfull and she is a pretty awesome professor
I took her ITV class during the Summer with Biology A&P. Because my priority was A&P, I did not had time to study. I attended to her seminar which is 15 extcredit pts.I missed the second test and did not had time to study for the 2 test that I took. I read the review 2 hs before test which are posted in "Blue notes" and other wew pages.I got an "A"
Read chapters, watch videos, use her reviews and you will make an A. Took during the summer so I only had 1 class meeting with her. She's funny, sweet and genuine.
If you actually want to learn government than this class is not for you. But if you just want to get over with your government cedit than this class is for you. It is relatively easy you just read the chapters, watch the videos, and do test reviews and its an easy A. She also gives you a lot of chances to earn bonus points. she is old and sweet.
I took her for ITV Texas Gov. over the summer and the experience was great not hard at all, just watch videos and go over your study guide you follow these two steps and you will pass the class. If i needed another government class i would take her again ! Thank you.
Took ITV. SO EASY. you dont need the book I didn't buy it either just like the previous reviewer. All you have to do is go to the review seminars and study the review and you will get an A. you get 20 extra credit points for attending the seminars. EASY A!!!! take her!
I took this class online (ITV).Did not purchase book or watch video. Class is 3 tests plus Final. She drops the lowest of your first 3 test grades.Reviews almost follow the exams(literally). The first question on review is first question exams. She offers extra credit for attending seminar to go over review before every test.Easy A(do the review)
I took the ITV course in Spring 2013. This is probably one of the easiest classes you will take. She will curve every tests and will offer five extra credit points for every seminar you attend each of which is a review for the four tests. The tests come straight from the review! I did not open my book once! Easy A! I barely studied and made an A!
Easy class I've ever taken by far.I took ITV class during the summer 3 tests and 15 extra points for attending seminar.Focus on reviews she gives straight to point. The book is available at the library so you don't have to spend money on the book.
extremely easy!! just finished her summer 1 ITV course easiest class. there are only 3 exams. she gives you reviews for each exam of which are EXACTLY what is on the test. also gives you 15 extra credit points for attending the seminar. she helps you with answers during the seminar. I never read just studied the reviews the day before and got a "B"
This is a super easy class however you definitely want to take it online!! Taking it in person is a personal torture I wouldn't recommend to anyone!!!!
Took her ITV course, super easy. 4 exams, lowest of the first 3 dropped and adds curves. Gives reviews for every test. Most of the review questions are on the quiz but not all. I didn't put much effort into it and still made an A. Barely watched the videos. Easy, easy class.
Took ITV course, easy and informative. class is only 4 exams, no homework. The lowest test grade dropped plus curves! Videos were extremely helpful as well as the seminars! Test are the exact review questions.
Very easy class! Tests are directly like the reviews she gives! Extra credit seminars are also offered! Very easy A!!!
Very easy A! Tests come directly from the reviews and she offers extra credit seminars!
This was a very easy class, gave numerous opportunity to get extra credit points. Test were long but if you studied you could easily make an A on the test.
Very easy class, opportunities for extra credit. Her test are long but if you study it's an easy A. Would recommend taking it online as I did.
I took her 8 week online course and would highly recommend taking her if you want an easy grade. 2 discussion board assignments, one (very simple) essay, 4 quizzes, and 4 exams (and she drops your lowest test score). Do your study guide, the test questions are in order straight from the review. Take her class, you wont regret it.
I took this class online and I would DEFINITELY recommend others to do so. I made a 75 in gov last semester but I made a 95 this semester because this is straight-forward and easy. I just wish I would have taken this online last semester too.
Honestly, it was a pretty easy but don't take it if you don't like to write. We had 4 "exercises" that were all essays, plus a normal essay all in a six week period. Texas Government is interesting, but I wasn't expecting to write so much for a government class. You'll get an A, as long as you write! Good luck.
great professor and easy class!
easy class!
Great teacher. Always response to emails. 3 extra credit assignments. Study guides have same questions as test, so do it! Very interesting class. Easy, you will have 3 written assignment, 1 discussion board and a 3 page essay. Would definitely recommend her.
She gives her student plenty of resources to learn about government, and she provides feedback on all your assignments. She does tend to assign a lot of writing, but she is an easy grader. She always replied to emails, and she seems very sweet. Def recommend.
Assignments are interesting but her instructions are not very clear. Also, the websites she post are not as she describes, so finding the information to write your assignments is confusing. She doesn't let you work ahead , which is helpful for online summer students.
Easiest class I have ever taken! Spots for this online class go really fast, so register as early as possible. Professor Watson does not expect a lot of her students, but the amount of writing can be a lot if you're not used to it. Tests are exactly the same as the reviews. Overall very easy!
Summer online class. Loved Prof Watson!! She genuinely cares about her students. She always left comments on your work commending andor motivating you! Coursework is easy, as long as you do it!! She wants you to do well in her course, and as long as you do the work, no reason you shouldn't get an A! Take her!! You won't regret it!
I absolutely loved Mrs. Watson, she's so cute!!! It's a lot of work (3 essay assignments, 3 unit exams, 3 discussion boards, 3 quizzes, 1 reflective essay, 1 extra credit assignment), as long as the work is done then there's no reason why you shouldn't make an A. Drops lowest of 3 unit exams. TAKE HER!!! EASY EASY EASY A!!!!!!
I thought I would hate Texas Government, politics is not my thing. She made the class enjoyable and assignments were great. I actually learned government instead of wading through just to get it done. Her lengthy instructions are sometimes hard to not just skim over, but if you read through it each week, it is very helpful. I would recommend her.
Prof. Watson's class is enjoyable but be ready to work. We had a lot of assignments but it was a good experience.
She is a very nice professor. I took her online for Texas Government and she was very organized and that's what I like. She graded fairly, and assignments had clear instructions. I wasn't interested in taking this class at all, but she actually turned that around. I learned a lot. She is nice. I did need the textbook.
This professor is a great A teacher, she gives the outline needed and gives study guides similar to tests. Easy grader, extra credit given at the end of the class, I took her for half a semester and ended with a B+. Would recommend to anyone.
This was a great class. I learned a lot about Texas Govt.
Easy classs
Great Course. Great Professor.
Professor Watson is a great teacher. I took her BL1 class (classroom and online homework) and it was great. She makes her class very interesting. I learned a lot about Texas government and lots of great discussion about current political issues. Her exam reviews are very complex but they help a lot for the quizzes and exams. Lots of paperwork!
Great teacher! I took her Gov.2305 for the 1st 6 week summer term, ended with a B. Do your work and you should do fine!
Watson is a great teacher, trust me. She's an easy grader and she cares for her students. I took her online and you need the textbook for her exams. The exams were easy and straight-forward if you study. There were about 70 multiple/true and false question about 2 hour time limit. Would take her again if I had the chance.
My class was a hybrid/online, most of the work was done online, but we showed face on Fridays. I used the book for the first exam, after that I only used the exam reviews she provides. typically I could complete her assigned exercises and discussion boards in an hour or less, the major essay she assigned took me a few hours. this is an easy class.
Amazing teacher. Always response to emails. Would definitely recommend her.
Loved Ms. Watson! Took hybrid class for Summer II. She is so sweet and I learned a lot on a subject I had zero interest in! VERY EASY! You will need the book and although she said the code was required, I purchased but never used. Tests are easy and answers can be found online-never studied or used the book. 4-DB, 4-mini quiz, 4-exam and paper.
Easy class she knows a lot about Texas government. Plenty of assignments but not difficult to complete
She is the most caring person you will meet. She does give you lots of homework, but everything is doable. She response to emails very fast and she will work around your schedule. I took her online class for GOV 2301 and 2302. As long as you complete everything she gives, you will pass her class.
Hands down the best teacher I have ever had. She is so sweet and was even willing to write me a recommendation letter. She gives tons of extra credit and you can take the quizzes as many times as you need to receive the grade you'd like. All of the answers can be found on quizlet. Easiest A ever.
Mrs. Faye Watson is very sweet, she's very kind and understanding. this is class is pretty easy, about 4-5 quizzes for each chapter(really easy btw). Then a midterm and final which were over the quizzes so make sure to take pictures of all your quizzes after you turn them in. She says she's going to use proctorio but she doesn't so your good!
Very nice teacher, 3 quizzes every chapter (very easy)she gave about 4 essays, and 5 discussions. The essays are not bad, pretty easy actually but I'm just not an essay kind of person, also 4 of the discussions are 300 words each 100 words for replies. There's one midterm and then a final. which are easy too, (she doesn't use proctorio).
Mrs. Watson is such a sweet teacher. She explains everything and if you have any questions she is quick to respond. We had about 3 or 4 quizzers per chapter, a midterm that SHE DID USE PROCTORIO but on our final she didn't. There are discussion boards but it's mostly how you feel about the subject & best part is she provides you a pdf to the book.
Let me start by saying this class is pretty easy and she doesnt grade harshly. The only thing I would say that is irritating is that the exam reviews only cover about 50% of the test and shes kind of boring, class feels so long.
Ms. Watson is a great lady. She truly wants her students to succeed. It is evident that she has a passion for government and politics. The class is engaging, but be forewarned of this. As far as assignments, I was in the 8 week course, and there were 95 total grades assignments, including discussion boards, quizzes, and 2 exams. Good class overall.
Professor Watson is very sweet and the class I took with her was very simply set up, midterm didn't use proctorio, She doesnt switch dates and replies very quickly. She really wants you to do well and will help you if you need it. For sure take her for government!
I took Professor Watson class this spring. She is an amazing professor. Her class is very engaging. She is very well knowledgeable in Govt. I was always looking forward to her class every week because her class was fun and she has a sweet voice. She is not stingy with points. Weekly quiz with discussion board.
I took a 5 wk accelerated course during the Summer II session. Mrs. Watson is a wonderful lady to learn from and she cares about her students. The quizzes and tests are heavily based on the textbook so, reading will definitely help you if you choose to read. The writing assignments are actually quite fun to me. You'll be in good hands.
I took her hybrid 7 week class. Professor Watson kept class very interesting. Very kind lady. She was very knowledgeable about government and history. Clear and very organized syllabus. As long as you keep up with her work each week you will pass easy. Gives extra credit throughout the course. Her homework's are actually interesting an on topic.
I took a hybrid (in person and online), and class didn't help me it was just discussion basically. She said She said the textbook was required, but I never ended up opening the book due to the content being easy.
Class was mostly about discussing current events. As long as you do the homework youll get an A easily. She provides a free textbook link. The midterm and final are multiple choice/true or false questions, and theres an essay that involves polling people. Overall, definitely take Professor Watson if youd like a relatively stress free class.
