This professor is very hard to follow. Her lessons are very unorganized. There is no structure what so ever. Most of the students seem confused when it comes to what we should be learning. I'm going to look for a different professor. Hopefully there is room available in another class because I really need to take this class ASAP.

I would not recommend taking this teacher. She is intelligent but lacks the ability to teach. Grant it, Anatomy and Physiology is a difficult course, she could not interact effectively with questions from students. Her "go-to" response was yell and repeat what she already said that the student didn't get the first time. Good heart, but bad teacher.

HARDEST class I've ever taken. After studying for hours I never made better than a 70 on any of the tests. No homework, so most points come from the impossible tests. She's very unclear and impatient also. Good luck!

Teacher does not cover all material, course description lacking, online videos are useless, online work is ahead of class work causing you have a test on 4-7 chapters and an online test on the next chapter before taking the test for the previous 4.

She insists that all homework be completed before any lectures are given. This is not ideal for someone who does not learn well by just reading a book.

Her online class is super hard. You get 30 minutes for 60 questions. If you want your quiz grades to cushion your test grades good luck because the quizzes count 5% and have around 200 questions. Absolutely ridiculous

This is the hardest class I have ever taken. I would NOT recommend taking her for this course if you struggle in any way. Her tests make no sense. She does NOT give study guides. If you are wrong in class she yells BOO NO in class all the time. Even slightly decent grades did not help. She is not a fan of questions. Why is she here..

Don't take online class with her!! Her material and videos don't match up. Home recorded videos that drag, low volume can't hear her, can't understand accent, very unprofessional. Quizzes each week take over an hour but worth only 5%. Material not updated. Due dates don't match. I had to switch to in person class to do decent.

If you take the online exams, which is to be expected since its you know an online class, you get half the amount of time as the testing center version which equals 50 questions for 30 minutes. Also she has an exam every ten days which is ridiculous. The quizzes are the hardest, take the longest but only worth 5-7% of grade. Do not recommend.

This is by far one of the worst professors I have EVER had. She gets annoyed when students ask questions (as if that's not her job to answer them). She WILL not prepare you for test or quizzes be prepared to be on your own. God forbid you answer a question in class wrong. Calhoun is wasting there money keeping her shes completely useless.

She is very difficult and expects you to know everything. If you ask her for help shell yell at you and get onto you. She expects you to know biology already. Dont take her if youre not very good at Biology she will fail you and not help.

I really do not like her class. She talks about politics sometimes and her political opinion. Her test are EXTREMELY difficult if you have no previous knowledge of Biology. I wish I would have never taken her class. I tried to reach out to her for help and she just yelled at me. She tells you to study the notes if you want to pass.

States at beginning of class most will fail or drop. teaches her way only cant go by book. must know everything for test. study guides don't help. main essay questions to pass test. tons of home work due before you do work in class.

I don't recommend taking this class with this professor. Tests are almost impossible. No study guides. Labs and homework are supposed to be done or almost done prior to the lab/lecture. It's hard when you don't have much biology knowledge and are expected to know everything before actually being taught the material. It's a very stressful class.

I have never taken a class that is so awful. The lectures seem to be packed with good knowledge for the test . WRONG. You will have 30 mins for 50 questions and most of them are stuff that she never covered. You will be left guessing because there is little time to think. Possibly the most stressful class i have taken thus far & ive completed Cal.

Content covered is not what's reflected on tests. Impossible to pass the class unless you do good on the tests due to how the tests are weighted.

DO NOT TAKE HER CLASSES! She does not teach what is given on her tests. The tests are way too long with too little time. 30 minutes for 50-70 questions. The majority of the tests are not covered in class. Only way to pass is to read the entire text book multiple times. Her lectures are also torture.

This is the worst professor I have had in 3 years of college. She gets angry when we dont know the answer to questions. She makes people feel stupid for asking questions or getting something incorrect. Very unprofessional for a teacher. She doesn't explain anything very well and asks questions expecting us to know the answer before teaching it.

One of the worst teachers, Super hard to reach out to her. Her email, phone number, wasn't listed and had to get in contact through Calhoun! when i finally contacted her for help she caught an attitude with me. Never Again!

This professor is HORRIBLE. All of the tests are not the content that we have learned is NOT on the tests. These are proctored exams also so no looking at notes. The worst teacher I have had thus far.

Lovely woman, lovely person, not a good teacher. This class was very challenging even under the best of circumstances, which was not eased by her teaching methods. Always check your calendar because she will not tell you due dates.

Tests contain mountains of information that we did not learn in class OR in our assignments. It takes rigorous study to even achieve a passing grade. Was generally unhelpful with anything we did not understand and her teaching style is absolutely not suited for a science class. Genuinely the most frustrating teacher and class of my life. Just awful

The grading criteria this professor uses is OUTRAGOUES. Worst teacher I have ever had. Tests contain an INSANE amount of information that we did not learn in class or on the assignments. Having the "exams" (that you take every week) that count for 60+% of your grade, you are better off learning the lessons on YouTube. Seriously. Don't pick her.

Tests contain information not covered in smart book assignments, labs, or anywhere else. The smart book and lab assignments are easy, but some can be long. They will not help your grade very much if you do not do well on the tests, but as stated before, the tests are frequently half composed of questions on things that were never covered. 0/10

Please do not take her unless you can handle the heavy load. I barely pass the class with a C. She never answered any questions and she excpets you to know the answer. She is not the greatest teacher.

She is a decent person but in my opinion she isn't the best teacher. It's hard to wrap around the concepts and modules sometimes because at points she rushes through. She also has a very rude attitude when you don't know a certain question or whatever the case is. Tests impact grades a lot so study for them. Overall, I do not recommend her.

I struggled the entire semester.. It's already a hard class made much harder. She is rude to people who ask questions, doesn't teach well, and is inconsistent with test dates and study guides. Reads from slideshow for 2 hours. Things on the test are not on the study guide. Exams are 66% of your grade, so nothing else is really worth the effort.

I had an extremely hard time in her class. Watch out if you are trying to juggle any other classes or work and her class. There is a crazy amount of work that takes forever and took up at least 15 hours of just the homework assignments per unit, not including the amount of time it takes to study because it's so hard to learn with her teaching style

This professor is hard to contact, the smart books are extremely long and take hours on end to complete, it's absolutely ridiculous. There's almost no time for studying another class.

I am not sure what to say, but she is not supposed to be a teacher in any level of education. I am not sure if she understands that giving students 6+ Homeworks assignments will not make them prepared for the test especially when they test does not related anything to the actual studying material.

Professor needs to make instructor clear about what she is expecting when it comes the assignments and test. The amount of homework is ridiculous and it does not prepare you for the test, which are 4 and she does not create the test. She relies on McGraw Hill platform for that.

I attempted to take her online class. She will not email me back. I called her to ask questions, and she told me to email her, but I never got a response. Then I emailed her again, and I still haven't gotten help. There are questions on the test that we haven't covered yet. The testing rules are too strict and seem unreasonable.

This is the hardest class I have ever taken at Calhoun. Ms. Ewing assigns a lot of homework and will give you a study guide for the tests, but it is nothing like the test. Every person I know in the class is either failing or has a C. If you want to pass with a good grade, I would take another route for a teacher.

The rescources provided by the instructor are outdated and are not reflected on the tests. The tests are arbitrarily hard, often contain trick questions not covered within course content, and the instructor provides no feedback on essay questions. Read the textbook thouroughly, including under image descriptors and end of chapter reviews.
