Professor Scott will help you if you don't understand things; she gives a ton of extra credit. There us a lot of info. to learn in this class, but it isn't her fault. She does get a little absent-minded. Do the work and extra credit she assigns and there is no reason you shouldn't expect a decent grade.

Nice lady, she knows her stuff. The class is really hard though, which is why she offers so much extra credit. Her lectures are pretty boring, but she passes out her notes. She's always willing to help. Quizes and tests come from her notes, so study those if you want to pass. Only bad thing about her is that she favors people.

Only thing i didn't like - believing in creation - was the constant rants on evolution being so awsome and amazing, and all the wonderful evidence for it, without any mention of the evidence that points toward creationism.

Dr. Scott is the exact equivalent to Dr. Bailey on Grey's Anatomy. They even look similar! She is extremely intelligent, and keeps things in order. Just like someone else said, she runs a tight ship. Dr. Scott seems to be knowledgeable. The class was a ton of work so be prepared. I ended up with a 4.0 however you will work for that grade. Dr. Scott can come off as condescending and talks to students as if they are in 2nd grade at times so be prepared for that. Class was extremely hard!! I spent at least 40 hrs per week studying. The test were very difficult. She is very detailed in her questions and answer one word could make the difference in between which answer is correct. We were constantly behind the other classes. Two test ended up being open book tests online which was extremely difficult.

Prof Scott certainly knows her subject. She's passionate and full of knowledge, but her class is not as easy as the others make it sound. It's a lot of work. While she provides you with powerpoints, those alone won't help you pass the class. YOu really need to understand the material. This class should not be taken with another hard class.

Mrs. Scott's class was challenging for those who chose not to study. It's definitely possible to pass with an A or B if you study her power-points and go over the study guides. The PPs you can get off ANGEL, print yourselves, and use it as reference to follow along while she lectures. Make sure to write whatever she writes on the board and/or says more than 2 times.

Best teacher ever! She is incredibly dedicated to her students and takes the time to explain the confusing concepts until you understand them. We used the lab manual far more than the textbook. She also narrows down the material by creating power points out of the chapters covered. Plus you can earn extra credit and drop your 2 lowest quiz grades.

Excellent teacher! Her lectures were amazing! She gives out extra credit, and encourages you use her office hours. She hands out E/C stuff at the end of class when most individuals have left as well, which means you should stay for the entire class! Tests are multiple choice, and easy if you study, 1hr/day minimum.

As long as you study her lecture power point notes hard, and make flash cards and study every single night you will get an A. This was my first time taking this class without taking bio 1000 previously and I received an A. So if I can do it, you can too! Just study!

I had nutrition as an online class and if I didn't choose her as a professor I would not have passed with an A. Very clear grading. Answers quickly to canvas emails. Gives a lot of extra credit opportunities. The only downfall of this class was you NEED A LOT OF STUDY TIME. I would not take A&P with any other professor but Felicia Scott. This class is what YOU put into it, therefore she is not a tough grader, but gives you YOUR grade. There is a crazy amount of information and yes, you will shed tears because of it, but it's all worth it in the end. Study lecture like your life depends on it, and just make fun of it.

Dr. Scott is an amazing professor! Very enthusiastic and her exams are very similar to her lecture notes. No book required and she posts slides. 4 lecture exams (50%), 4 lab exams (40%), quizzes (8%), 1 hormone quiz (2%), and extra credit. This is a hard class and requires A LOT of study time. I recommend taking it by itself and with Dr. Scott!

By far one of the best biology teachers I've had here at a Macomb. Since this is a very difficult class I went in expecting the worse and she made it a lot more easier than I thought it would be. Would take her for any bio class for the rest of my life.

My favorite teacher. She loves teaching A&P and you can tell! Her lectures are really good, she drills the information into your brain. The class is a lot of information so sometimes she assigns chapter notes to learn on your own but it's never anything you can't handle. Lecture tests are based off of her notes so you have to be there to learn it.

She's a great professor. I never read the book and only sometimes looked at her powerpoint. You basically just write notes during lecture but she clearly explains everything and doesn't go to fast. Hand writing notes is a great way to remember information but if that doesn't work for you, I guess look into another professor but I would take her.

Professor Scott was great! Gave a ton of extra credit. Lab was pretty easy and learning all on your own. Always go to the library for lab, helps out a ton! Lecture is very heavy. Study lecture everyday or you will fail her lecture exams. Other than that I would take her again.

I absolutely loved this teacher but her tests are very hard. You really need to have your way of studying down pat before taking this class. Took Prof Scott for the lab portion of A&P and let me tell you... AMAZING. Scott is the first Biology professor that taught in such a way I actually understand the material. I wish I would have taken her for past bio classes. Lecture heavy; the notes, powerpoint slides, and online quizzes are used for questions on the exam. If you put in the time you will earn the grade. Extra credit is given throughout the semester.

One of the funnest and exciting teacher's I've had. She doesn't care if you show up, but expects you to know the material. She makes a lot of jokes and is fun to be around. She is also accessible outside the class, she gives her phone number to text and ask questions. She relates material to the real world to help you understand it also.

She is easily accessible outside of class an helpful.. Attending lecture is a must because there will be information she will add that will be on tests that are not in the typed notes. She has a lot of practice quizzes and packets that are also questions on the tests. Doesn't really explain things during lab unless asked, so it is smart to ask.

This class is a tough class but professor Scott made this class easy. There was minimal homework so it was easy to focus on the tests, she gave you all the info in the notes and if you study the notes/go to lecture youll be good. She also graded assignments/tests very quickly. 10/10 would recommend and would take another class of hers.

Her Anatomy class is hard. She scared everyone the first day with the promise of lots of work. I found that it was not near as difficult as she made it out to be, but some people in my class would 100% disagree with me. Professor Scott is an outstanding professor. She makes use of her weekly zooms by reviewing lecture content to make things more clear for students. Amazing professor, she had zooms twice a week but were only there to ask questions. There were 4 lecture exams and 4 lab exams. If you do the lab practices you will have seen the lab exam questions. She also gives plenty of extra credit. As long as you study and do the notes and practices youll pass the class.

I loved this professor. I legit bought her a Christmas gift after the semester because she was the best teacher I've had in a long time. She gives out her personal cell to be reached by students, she responds to the students but she's human and sometimes might take a little while to respond. She puts in the work, makes the notes, powerpoint, etc.

Literally made an account here to rate prof Scott. I was nervous to take A&P esp b/c the lecture was online, but I'm glad I took it with her. Easy going, provides extra credit, has lecture recordings, holds review zooms, she's a treasure. Not an easy grade- study a bit daily, flashcards help & show up to lab to do the practices, repetition is key!

Professor Scott was great. Ask questions and put in effort. You will not pass this class if you don't get up during lab and study charts or ask questions. Uploads a ton of material to Canvas which is more than enough to grasp the concept. Study the chapter vocabulary and chapter quizzes and you will pass. Textbook wasn't needed but lab manual was.

This is an extremely difficult course but if you ask questions during labs and lectures Professor Scott is there to help. I enjoy her teaching style but she can run out of time during lectures. She doesn't always reply to emails, but she's human so cut her some slack. Just make sure you study study study, take the class by itself if possible.

Honestly if you just need a science credit take environmental science instead, it would be easier. Class itself is tough so you will HAVE to study if you want to do well in the class. Halfway through the semester she gives lots of extra credit. Also save yourself the headache and do the hybrid course, no need to spend 6 hours on campus every week.

But a lot of the time I was left teaching myself most of the information for the lecture classes since she wouldn't cover all the chapters in class, however, she had a lot of resources on her canvas. As long as you don't procrastinate and ask her about any questions you have, you will be fine.
