Very good intro class

i took this class online. i highly recommend it. there are only a few assignments which she grades fairly easily. she gives you all of her notes and the tests are based right off the notes.

Professor Marrs is an awesome teacher. I took her class online and it was wonderful. She gives you all of her lecture notes and the tests are based right off of her lecture notes. I have not even read the book one time this semester. There are a few writing assignments but she grades very easy.

She is a really good teacher but hard to keep up with sometimes. Her class is fun and sometimes it can be boring. I wish she would give lecture notes because she talks very fast.

This is my second semester having her as a psych teacher and i think she's great. The work is like nothing, she may give you a few writing assignments every now and then, but i loved her.

I took her class online during the summer while taking Intro to Bio for Majors. Her class was one of the easiest I have taken. Pay more attention to her notes than the text book. Her test come straight from her notes. Turn in the few assignments she gives and participate in the discussion board.

I think she is a great teacher. I like her class a lot. She really knows how to keep the students attention and make psychology very interesting. I don't dread going to her class every day like my other classes. I would recommend her to everyone because she really knows how to reach the students and get on our level of learning.

Great teacher! Her lectures are very in depth and she knows her material. There are quite a few class discussions. You have 4 critiques that are due, but other than that you just have tests. She gives bonus quizzes before every test to help your grade. She's an awesome teacher!

I took this course online and it was extremely easy! Test were everything that was posted on her notes. Nothing extra! I didnt look at the book one time and got A's on every test! I read over the notes a couple of times and was good to go for the test. She is very highly recommended!

Easiest class ever. Exams were online at home open book and note. 2 -100 pnt. writing assignments,and 1 -50 pnt. writing assignment easy grader I got full credit on all wirting assignments. 5 exams. VERY nice and VERY helpful. Easy A if you do your work and study. A lot of ppl in my class made C's but thats only because they were lazy and didn't do anything in the class. This is college afterall, you have to put some effort into it to make a good grade. Take good notes, look over chapters, and write the essays and you'll get a good grade.

Took the on-line course and it was great! Always responded to any e-mails that I sent. Tests do come mostly directly from the lecture notes. Wouldn't recommend reading the entire chapters of the book unless you just want to. Gave relevant writing assignments, not just busy work. Highly recommended course.

Mrs. Marrs is by far the EASIEST teacher in my whole life. She does 4 critiques (easy), 3 exams, and a final. She drops the lowest score. Also, she gives quizzes that count as extra credit on the exam. Golly, how incredible is that? Her tests are based on lecture. She basically tells you what is on the test during lecture. DO NOT BUY THE BOOK IF YOU TAKE THE ONLINE CLASS!! I always buy books, but for this class I just bought the old $12 version and still never opened it. Her tests online are straight from her notes. Very easy online class, and you don't even have to read the book for tests! Just read the lecture notes right before taking the test. I spent a max of 1 hour to prepare for the last 2 tests, and got high A's on them. Highly recommended!

Awesome lady. Interesting class discussions, Interaction a must. She is accepting of all opinions and shows you different points of view. While I was going through a rough time she even referred me to some counselors she knew in the field. Very caring. Reminded me of high school teacher, very involved.

Enjoyed her class. Great discussions but class was hard. Talks the entire time and must take own notes. Does not tell you anything about the tests. Must write four 3 page papers and if you do exactly what she wants she will give you full credit. Drops lowest test grade. I made an A but had to work for it.

Took Dev. online, got a B+, should have been an A. Gives 3 easy projects, but grades hard on them. Got 98-100 on the tests, which come from the lecture notes, and yet only got B's on the projects, and grades hard on the discussion board. You must be active on discussion boards to pass class. Wants more than she lets on.

I LOVE this lady! This was the one class I never wanted to miss. Never really used the book, and just took notes over what she talked about. Easy tests and she drops your lowest one. She has changed my perspective on a lot of issues. So interesting. I'm taking her online class next semester. Easy A if you come to class and stay involved. TAKE HER!

Easy class if you do your assignments. She even gives you her own notes in word files, most of the answers for the tests are in there. Interesting class with only 3 major assignments and 5 tests that can be taken at home.

I took Professor Marrs online. GREAT course! I made an A. The most difficult work you will do in this class is her 2 major projects and a reflection. Very easy! The tests are only 50 questions long, and more than half of the answers are in the lecture notes. You'll do best by reading the chapters, though. Take this course online! She's great!

Ms. Marrs is a great psych teacher. Tests (50 questions a piece) are easy as long as you read the chapters. Answer DB questions with detail. 2 major assignments, one case study and one movie analysis. She grades pretty easy also. I highly recommend her.

Highly recommend taking her online class! Easy A! Rarely read the chapters and made A's on all tests, she gives you lecture notes wich has majority of the answers in them! Great teacher! Three assignments all easy and do towards the begging of the semester so you wont have a lot to do with the class after those. A few discussion boards that are pretty easy and as long as you have the notes for the test you will be fine!

She posts her lecture notes and chapter review online to study from. That's what I've used for the tests and I've not made less than an A. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I have taken many online classes and this by far is the best one I have taken. There were 3 major assignments (all fun and interesting), discussion boards and 4 exams all coming from her notes. Great instructor! You know what to expect from the first day. I wouldnt say this class is easy there are times where you have to think outside the box which makes it fun. The tests are easy for the most part some questions are detailed and hard to recall. Reading the book can help but its hard to learn from lengthy and dense textbook chapters.

Took her developmental psych class online. Easiest online class ever. She sent out very clear emails, if you didn't understand then you have a problem. We had 4 tests, a few assignments, and a few discussion board questions. So so so easy. And yet you still learn a lot! Not a blow off class, but definitely not too difficult. Take her for sure!

One of the best professors I've had so far. Took Intro. Psyc. online 8-week course. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be and I learned a lot at the same time - very well balanced. I definitely recommend this teacher if you are someone who wants a good grade AND wants to learn the material as well.

I took Mrs. Marrs for online developmental Psych. There were three paper's to write, three discussion boards, and five exams. Overall, a fairly easy class as long as you read the book.

Online Class is an easy A. 3 simple papers just be sure to follow the guidelines, a couple of discussion boards, and all of the exam questions are almost word for word out of her notes. I'd definitely recommend taking her online class!

I'm taking her for online Dev Psych and it's super easy! I would love to have her again. Reasonable grader. Don't even need the book, just read posted lecture notes an hour before the test, and keep them up while taking it. Only have discussion boards and 3 assignments and the tests. Super easy disc., assign., and tests. Take her for easy A.

I took Fern Marrs' for Developmental Psychology online. The assignments and study materials were posted to Blackboard and were easy to find. He opened some of the discussions and other assignments early, so that allowed me to work ahead, and he highly recommends that students do so. I was allowed to resubmit an assignment, so thats cool.

I took Developmental Psychology as an online summer course (and don't regret it) as a part of my pre-reqs. Ms. Marrs was always available when I had questions and responded quickly to emails. Read the assigned chapters in the book and review her notes and the tests are straight from that. Do the other work assigned and you'll get a good grade.

This is the easiest class I think I have ever taken. She gives you notes that are identical to the tests, which are open note. I literally copy and pasted the notes into one document then searched key phrases for the tests. The introspective type papers that were one page. VERY EASY.

She took FOREVER to respond to emails & there was 4 days between last test & final, over 4 chapters each, a week before sem is over. I complained to & about both those facts to her & the dep head, and I think she gave me a low score on the last grade, dropping me to 89. When I asked what she took off for in my discussions, I got no answer, still.

I took her for Development Psych fast track, Easiest class ever!! I got the book but never opened it. 4 test 3 or 4 discussions and one major assignment. You won't regret taking her!

Fern Marrs is amazing! Gives amazing feedback and an easy class. Do not need textbook, test are directly from lecture notes. Essays are super easy and as long as you write it, you get the grade. Easy A, if i could take again i would take an 8 week class!

MUST TAKE HER!! This was my first online class (8wks) and it was easy to follow along. I There is a discussion boards and paper assignment but don't worry they are simple and easy to do. The test are multiple choice and come right from her notes. YOU DONT NEED THE TEXT BOOK!!! It may have been an easy A but I did learn a lot!!

Marrs is a great online professor! Quick to respond to e-mails and encouraging to students. This is the second class I've taken with her. Read the lecture notes she provides because that is the majority of what her tests are over. not much homework.

Great online class if you have a life. But you will still learn. Tests from her chapter notes almost completely. I probably could have been fine without the book, but it's a pretty good one with some interesting extra articles. Teacher is always available and gets back quick. She wants you to do good! ... and you should do good it's easy peasy.

This was an easy online class. Not much homework and lots of time given to complete tests and assignments. Tests are open book. Easy to communicate with. He made it easy for me to keep up with class while working and taking care of my family.

I took the fast paced online class and got an A. She provides lecture notes for every chapter and flashcards for all the vocab. As long as you study those, you will get an A. She usually responds to emails within 24 hours and was very helpful with any questions I ever had. I would highly recommend this professor.
