Great professor, easy to pass as long as you go to class and read. He is always avaliable to answer and questions and is a man of true social knowledge.

He's very funny and very easy to understand. As long as you keep up with him and the class, it's an easy A. Best teacher I've had a LACC.

Entertaining guy. A lot of extra credit and he basically tells you what the test is gonna be about. Nice guy who understands where most of his students come from. No seating chart but he does pick on the people in the front. Discusses current events.

Good class, good teacher. A total perve however, hit on me the last day of class, but got an A out of it! He tells you what will be on the tests, so pay attention and take notes, tests not too hard. He has good insight, but is a little full of himself. I enjoyed the subject, but wouldn’t take him again, for obvious reasons.

His classes can be very funny. If your uptight and get offended easily, DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS! He expects certain type of behavior in class, and he will call you out if you offend his ways. His exams are all from his lectures. If you're in class and taking notes, there shouldn't be a problem.

Great professor. If you attend class, pay attention and take good notes there is no reason for not getting an A. This professor is willing to take on and discuss tough issues like race in America, our criminal justice system, etc. You will not be bored. Five exams and he drops lowest grade.

He was fairly easy, I think. I honestly just skimmed through the chapters, read the chapter summary parts, reviewed the night before the exams, and passed the class with a B!!! If I actually tried I probably would have gotten an A. He's a real great professor, and may seem real rude at first, but don't be offended he just thinks he's being funny.

I encountered at LACC- he is raw and unapologetic, he does not hold back on the realities of life- and although his method may seem harsh and unnecessary it's these qualities that made me think so much about the current state of "life", "crap" we consume, and of course social "tenga" moments - It was a good intro to my major!

This guy is hillarious! TENGA!! hahaha The test are 3 or 4 essay questions that come out of his lectures. he drops the lowest test grade. He's strict. His Soc 1 class was whatever. but take his soc 2 class social problems we seriously didn't do nothing but kid back.

He actually cares about his students and having them do well. Sociology is a boring subject, but he found ways to make it fun. Make sure to talk to him outside of class and try to get to know him because it's really worth it. Just don't slack off because he doesn't like students who don't care and he will toss you out.

His class was very interesting. He is very nice guy. His tests are very easy. Just memorized his note and you get A. Make sure you come class on time! You don't have to take final if you have A on all test.

This is a great teacher. His test are a bit easy if you study the notes. Do not show up late to his class because he will chew you out. you make one mistake and he will chew you out. if you yawn he will chew you out. He is not a boring teacher. At first he can be intimidating, but he teaches very well. He is very strict, but if you take good notes and study them you won't have a problem in his class. ALWAYS BE ON TIME! Definitely a character in class. He WILL definitely make it known if you are late to class so always be on time. If you miss one lecture, be prepared to fail the exam. Write everything he says and write on the board. It'll be in the exam. He cares a lot about his students.

Professor Rodriguez is a great professor. Yeah, he is unconventional in his lectures but if you do exactly as he says and come to class every lecture and on time, you should have no problem. I decided to take classes at LACC, i picked his class and i love it, he teaches in a way to motive students to do better in life, follow their dreams, and continue with education, the first two weeks he seems so strict after that you can just go, chill and that do your work, great professor if you want an easy A take him.

HE IS HARD ON HIS STUDENTS, however it's a good thing because he does it for their own good, he cares for his students. He is strict when it comes to exams and extra credit assignments.
