He is very good teacher who helps students alot.His test is pretty straight forward.He is very respectable to his students. If u pay attention in his class and you will do great in his class.He is awesome!!!!!! i would recommend him to any student whose major is psychology.

I have never had a professor that showed so much dedication to student performance. He helps you become a great critical thinker through his assignments, and has a talent in presenting ways to make psychology fun.

Dr. Romero is an excellent teacher. If you pay attention and keep up with the readings the class is a breeze. He's always there to help you before and after class if you don't understand something. I definitely recommend him!

Fernando is a wonderful teacher. He makes classes extremely interesting with video clips, funny experiments and also with his great sense of humor. He is helpful and has a very interactive teaching style.

Loved his class. He is so helpful and really cares about all his students. He gives numerous examples and shows lots of little videos which keeps the class interesting. The quizzes are a little difficult, but the papers and everything else are easy. I would recommend this class to anyone interested in Psy or Human Development. He is a great teacher

Really nice, If you read the textbook and go over the notes you should be fine. Open note/book final and a page of notes are allowed on the tests.

Dr. Romero is the best teacher (along with Dr. Shew) that I've had at GCC. He's hilarious and I love his accent! He shows lots of little videos, and he seems very "young" which I think helps to keep the class interested and on the same level. If you're taking any psych class, make sure he teaches it first and take his class!

I had Dr. Romero for an honors course and he's amazing. He's very helpful! I was out of class because of an illness and he worked with me every step of the way. You do have to read the book, but it ties into his lessons perfectly.

I have taken almost all of Romero's classes. He's definitely my favorite teacher on the campus. His lectures are relevant to the tests. Easy A if you read the material.

Loved this class. Summer course, moved really fast. If you read the book and take notes in class you will do fine. He truly cares about his students. Great guy.

Best teacher I've had at GCC. Great sense of humor, interesting lectures, and little to no homework. I'd definitely recommend him. It doesn't get any better than this guy!

Knows his material,some closed note tests were difficult. All memorization so reading the text is a must.Has PPoints on BBoard so he makes it easy to follow along and take notes. He took a lot of days off and cancelled class so i drove to school 40 miles for no reason on some days. NO emails, bad communciation, no return emails. poor organization.

DR. Romero is one of the best teacher I've had at GCC. along with Dr. Malamuth.. Romero is an intelligent man. He explains everything with clarity, he elaborates topics articulately. Dr. Romero is the best teacher I have ever had. I took his psych 101 class and immediately fell in love with the study of psychology. He is very intelligent and hilarious! He makes the class so much fun, but you do have to study the material. He does make it fun and easy to learn though. I still run into him and go to him for advice!

I had Dr. Romero's PSY 240 and it was life changing. So I decided to take psy132 with him and it was a great course as well.

I took Dr Romero for my honors class. The class consisted of a lot of note taking. We did about 5 take home quizzes and about 2 big projects in his class. The quizzes will really get to you if you don't try. He makes the class interesting by playing movies and making a few jokes sometimes. He is pretty nice and understanding. I would recommend him.

Dr. Romero is awesome, he makes material easy and the class enjoyable. There are about 4 reading quizzes and two big projects.

Well hes nice tries to be funny and sometimes when he feels he went to far he usually appologies, but hes still funny. All tests are on scantrons but usually defining the words(from book) and let you have a CHEAT SHEET. he gives extra credit work. if you just do all the work and try and turn it on time you could get a A.

By far, my favorite professor! He kept the class interesting! He is willing to answer any questions that you may have! He definitely knows the topic VERY well. He'll tend to joke around to enlighten the class. This class is very helpful and informational to carry on throughout your life.

Dr. Romero is a great instructor. You will learn a lot from his class. He makes the class enjoyable and interesing at the same time. He lets you have "cheat cheats" Just remember to keep your cell phones off during lass, he doesn't like them on during class. Overall an exceptional insturctor. I highly recommend him

Extremely nice guy, really cares about his students and if they suceed. Not a lot of homework, all done online but requires that you know the info before coming to class as he lectures. Makes all concepts reall clear and allows you use to use cheat sheets on tests. Also, pretty funny.

He is from el salvador so he has an accent. But he is clearly understandable ! I would definitely recommend him.He is funny. He uses Aplia online. He allows you to use a whole page of notes for tests! Its an easy class with him. The book is only needed for studying. I will be taking him for a future psychology class and am super existed. TAKE HIM.

Awesome professor! I was not at all interested in PSY240 UNTIL I went to his class. He gives many examples to help the students relate to the topics, and it reasonab with grades. I really admire his professionalism and interest in the topics he teaches. Great Professor!!!!

Dr. Romero is a great teacher. He will treat everyone with respect and actually listens to you and will answer any questions you have. Everyone should get an A. You are allowed 1 page of notes for the quiz, online work is easy, and extra credit is available.

Thought Romero's class was pretty awesome. I did't know what to expect going in but after a few weeks with Romero, I found it was an interesting subject. He speaks with an accent but it isn't a problem, he answers your questions thoroughly, and he's very helpful. Attend daily and do the online work and you should pass with flying colors.

Dr. Romero was very helpful and truly loves is are of expertise. You will find him informative and fair, he also has a good sense of humor which is refreshing. Also on a side note if you are into Tennis you will get alon with him just fine.

He is a very nice man. The class is interesting, but can be boring because it was mostly reading and slides. It would have been great to do more activities.

you would be a fool not to taker Dr. Romero. I had him this semester for the spring 2015 semester and he was fantastic. You will get points taken off if your absent and you do get participation points. He made the class enjoyable and his jokes were always funny. His teaching style is very clear, so you won't be getting confused.

Took this class online over the summer. Easy class if you read the text. Consisted of a learn smart for each chapter, a quiz every 3 chapters, and 4 discussion boards papers.

He is a very nice professor who tries to help out his students as much as he can. Do your CONNECT homework assignments, show up to class, and so some light book reading and you are guaranteed to pass! PSY 240 is an interesting class overall, but with a professor like him you will be paying attention to every second of class.

He's my favorite teacher, If I had the chance to take him again, I would. The homework is EASY but the quizzes are a bit hard, but he allows a cheat sheet. Make you you pay attention in class and you should be fine. BTW, he will make time to meet with you if needed.

Dr. Romero is soooo amazing!! I wish i could take his class every semester, for i miss the daily meditation sessions. Take this professor, you will not regret it.

Dr. Romero talks a lot and goes through the slides quickly and skips a lot of them, so don't rely on the slides for your information. He is very funny and always uses good stories and examples to get the point across. The assignments are easy and if you do them, you will pass. Main issue is he is very unresponsive to emails.

This is a great class if you know how to dedicate your time to it. The teacher is extremely helpful and will do all he can to help you pass. He really care and knows what he is teaching. I would recommend this professor to those who care about learning and want to have a class with an easygoing and fun environment.

I learned so much about myself and the people around me while taking this course. While Dr. R's expectations are high, he is a genuinely nice and down-to-earth person who will answer any questions you have. At the end of the semester, he assigns an easy project with a clear rubric just to boost his student's grades. Great class, def recommend.

prof. Romero is an amazing teacher!!! his lecture is thorough and he answers all of your questions. I've learned so much from his class and he is genuine and kind. he always answered all my emails and in a timely manner. if you can take his class, do it. you wont regret it, you wont find a better instructor!!!

Prof. Romero is a slightly awkward but approachable man. His lectures are full of important Reformation that can be used on a daily. Reading the textbook, also, is very useful since that's where most of the test and discussion questions come from. He is Colombian, so careful if you are bad with accents. 8/10

Dr. Romero is a funny guy who enjoys teaching psychology and is very enthusiastic about it! There is some homework, but most of it is easy and he covers the topic in class. If i had the chance, i would diffidently take his class again!

Love Dr. Romero! He really took the time to make sure everyone felt comfortable in class, especially when it came to presenting. His lectures are easy to follow and understand as long as you're paying attention, and take notes. The tests are somewhat easy, as long as you do the required reading. This is literally the only class I'll be sad leaving

I really enjoyed taking this class with Dr. Romero. He is a good professor with fair grading. If he does not think that he has taught something well enough he will go over it again in class.

Love this guy. Great professor and really cares. He always asked how I was doing (life in general not even just school stuff). All the people who didn't get good grades were a holes in class and never read anything. I love him so much and he taught me a lot. Just participate in class and work and you will have a great time! would retake!!!

GOOD - caring, lecture very well, gives extra credit and study guide, available to help, fair grader, answers emails promptly. NORMAL - Attendance is required, every chapter of the book you must complete homework online (very easy), 3 papers, 5 tests and a presentation. BAD - tests are not so easy, you have to buy the book and the internet code.

Such a great teacher. I'm actually disappointed I have no reason to take another class of his. He's really funny, gives great examples, really takes his time to explain things, will try to accommodate you if you show up late on a test day, for example. Sticks around to talk to people when class is over to answer questions. He wants you to succeed.

Dr. Romero cares so much about his students. He fills each period with fun and entertaining lectures and throws in quirky jokes. Show up to class and do the work and you will pass no problem. Would Recommend this class to all! Wish I had another class to take with him.

Dr. Romero is hands down the best psychology professor I've had in my 7-year college career. He counts participation and attendance but his class is entertaining and interesting enough that you won't want to miss class anyway. I would definitely take another class with Dr. Romero.

Romero is very passionate about psychology, he includes his personal experience which enriches the class. There's a lot of reading and not enough actual activities that relate to the material. Although he is a bit disorganized, his concepts are clear and interesting.

Dr. Romero's class was one of the more enjoyable classes I took that semester. Show up, participate in discussions, and with bare minimum study you will get an A. He offers a few extra credit opportunities. He is not an overly critical grader. The lectures are usually very interesting if you have the slightest interest in psychology.

Dr. Romero has incredible content and makes the learning easier and engaging. Online course was the perfectly difficult, quizzes and online papers at least every week. Only downside is course doesn't get published until a few days before due dates. No assigned textbook is also a plus!

Best class I have ever taken, a 50 minute class with Romero feels like 10 minutes due to how interesting and fun the topic and class is, and Dr. Romero just makes it even better he offers something very few professors have. This was the only class I have ever had where I truly wanted to be there and loved the class.

He's an awesome teacher! He's really passionate and actually tries to get the class to open up about themselves. He isn't too harsh of a grader and doesn't give out too many assignments. We did one group project which was lots of fun. Definitely recommend his classes.

Dr. Romeros class is probably the best class I think Ill ever take in my academic career. He explained positive psychology very well by adding his own touch. We were provided tools, such as brain headbands to meditate in class and apps off-campus. The discussions were probably the best part as he allowed us to go on and explore the material.

He is a phenomenal professor! I LOVED this class and would take it a million times over again! You get out of it what you put into it. Our discussions were insightful and engaging. He knows a lot and cares a ton! He teaches relevant skills that you can use everyday. There's not a lot of assignments--just show up, participate, and open your mind! :)

He wants you to succeed not only in his class, but your whole education. He loves to write and assigns a few papers. If you have difficulty writing he is really good at showing you what he wants on the papers. He does not give much homework out. Really great guy!

Dr. Romero is a very caring professor who has a heart for teaching and inspiring others! Class discussions were always interesting and applicable to your own life. You will be required to write essays instead of exams which personally I preferred because it eliminated the stress of test-taking. 10/10 recommend this class!

Professor Romero was an amazing professor! I took a live online class with him and he really kept the class intreasting and knew how to keep us engaged. Be prepared to have an 1,000 word essay due every 2 weeks on a subject you are learning in class. He grades very fairly,as long as you do your work and put in effort you will get a good grade.

He is a great professor, he provided the textbook online so students would not have to purchase it and provided ample opportunities for extra credit! I enjoyed the class and would recommend him, there are a few papers to write throughout the semester, but they're not terrible and I enjoyed the podcast he provided.

Dr. Romero was so kind and smart. This class was engaging and fun. Deep and controversial topics were discussed in a mature educational way that made you really sit down and have an open mindset. He wants nothing more in life than to see you succeed!

I loved this class!! It was profoundly insightful, and Dr. Romero was excellent at delivering the content, while engaging the participants. While it was an online course, he took the time to set up a weekly zoom class (which was optional) and he recorded the lesson so that the other students could watch it and participate at a later point. ���

I had 3 existential crises in his class. Brilliant professor, likes participation in his class. 10/10 would take again.
